Mia thought about that for a moment and chewed on her lips as she did so. "Maybe." She said with a small shrug of her shoulders. "Or maybe she was hurt and confused and that she said something that she didn't mean." She turned and looked at him with a small smile. "I remember when my friend Noah accidentally killed my pet kneazle. I was so upset that I told him that I wished it was him that had died. I didn't mean it and I apologised later but at the time I just couldn't think clearly." Not that she was any sort of expert or anything but that situation was so bizarre.

"Oh come on." Mia said with a laugh. "Do you vomit with your eyes closed or something?" She laughed again and shook her head not believing that he hadn't seen vomit at least once in his life. "Well I tell you there is always carrot in your vomit even if you haven't eaten any."

Not exactly dinner conversation but Mia lacked finesse at times.

joey sat down to dinner she pilled her plate for such a small girl she could eat more them you even if she on a diet for pro wrestling.she turn on her ipod Afi my michelle was playing she loved the sound of it but she always like her alumb.

Annabel walked up to the Ravenclaw table and sat down to eat some breakfast. She watched as everyone else sitting with their friends. Annabel didn't have any of them.

Carter shrugged. "Perhaps. But I've heard she's been all over a 7th year." And he called that moving on. But if she really was sorry for it that was not a very good way to apologize. If anything he was kind of appalled at the whole situation.

"As a matter of fact I do." he said with a little laugh. He didn't do it on purpose. It's just how it worked. Just like how he drank with his eyes closed. He then chuckled again. "I guess I'll just have to take your word for it then."

He then looked at the food on the table. Ehh... he wasn't in the mood to eat anymore.

He looked over to Mia. "Did you know that elephants are the only mammals that can't jump?" he asked. He might as well follow up her random bit with another random bit.

Mia rolled her eyes at Carter. "Oh for Merlin's sakes. Why is it you boys feel as though a girl has to wait around until you decide to make up your mind on what you want." She looked over at him and snorted, "Have you bother to try and talk to her? The way I see it, she is a free agent just as you are."

She was pretty sure that no boy would ever make her that sad that she would want to mope around for months hoping that he would come to his senses and come back to her. Life was too short for that crap. "Well if you two were meant to be then I guess you will work it out."

Oh now he was sprouting random facts at her. This was cool. "I did not know that." She replied with a grin. "I guess I can understand that though. That would be a lot of weight to lift into the air." Mia scratched her head and then brightened, "Did you know that a shark needs to swim, otherwise it will sink?"

Carter blinked a few times. "I don't think you understand the situation..." he said. "I tried to apologize for... the love potion/snogging her best mate thing. It's the first thing that I did when I had my proper mind back." he said. "She wouldn't hear it and walked away though." he said.

He then shrugged. "Yeah. I guess you're right." he said. At the rate he and Marie were making up though he highly doubted there was any type of a future there. Which was too bad. He missed her a lot.

"Really?" he asked about the shark fact. "I guess that's why I always see them swimming. At aquariums." he said. He then thought for a minute. What was another interesting fact?

"Did you know crocodiles swallow rocks to help them digest their food?" he asked.

Ehh... that probably wasn't the best tidbit to share over a meal with a vegetarian.

Whoops.

Again Mia was tempted to roll her eyes but she refrained from doing so. “Girls can be stubborn about these sorts of things. If she really meant something to you then you would have tried again.”

But really what was the point in going over it all the time, they were now single and could do whatever they wanted with whoever they wanted. “Like I said before if you two were meant to be then you will be. Maybe being apart from each other might do you both some good.” She shrugged her shoulders and picked up a glass of water and took a sip.

She was going to have to stop getting in the middle of people’s relationships.

Mia laughed as she put down her glass. “I did know that. We have lots of crocodiles in Australia. Did you know that a person will eat up to a pound of insects in their lifetime?”

And back to the gross stuff.

Carter laughed. "Yeah... you're telling me." he said. He shrugged. He tried talking to her a few times, but that hadn't really worked out.

"I agree with that." he said. It was a lot easier to think about it that way. Too bad they had barely even talked since the split. Which was horrible, he did miss her. But he wasn't quite sure how to react to recent news of her. Maybe them being apart was a good idea. And if they got back together sometime... well... all the better.

"Eww... really?" he asked in response to her fact. He glared at his potatoes as if expecting a bug to pop out. He then turned his attention back to Mia. "Did you know camels have three eyelids?" he asked. "So that sand won't get in their eyes."

And then Carter once again looked at his potatoes. There had better not be anything other than deliciousness in those things.

Hungry...

That was all Liz could feel as she rushed toward her table. She took a quick glance around and saw people to sit by, but they all seemed to be in deep conversation with someone else. Liz wasn't one to intrude on conversation, anyway, and she was perfectly fine with being by herself. She wasn't a loner. No, not at all. Liz knew she couldn't survive by herself. She just was ok with being alone for a while.

She took a seat on the very edge of the table and reached for a tasted tuna sandwich and some pudding. Ah, what a wonderful lunch.

Sitting by herself gave her some time to study. Liz pulled one of her textbooks from a shoulder bag (that was magically strengthened to hold more weight than an elephant) and began to read diligently.
