Large quantities of food are spread before you. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Hogwarts' house elves are the best in the world. The food is superb and the company is as well.
"When Mother lets me know, I promise to come tell you!" Ty nodded with a grin before turning to begin piling food onto his plate. This was the feast after all, and he was hungry. Ooh, chicken wings! Yummeh.
As he swallowed his first bite, Ty licked his fingers and thought about his reply. "Well, see, just take it slow at first. I mean, tonight just follow all of the Ravenclaws - our common room is on the seventh floor, like the Gryffindors' one - and at first try to walk with other people to class. I could show you around if you like..." he smiled, liking the idea of being a tour guide to Pam.
Exciting. "There are those little things that everyone needs to know like walls that are pretending to be doors, and that classroom that decides to move every other Wednesday, there are a few stairs that you need to know to skip and, the most important, the shortcuts!" Ty said, gushing slightly. It had taken him a while to learn all that but it was second nature to him now.
And he wasn't even a tiny bit scared that he'd forgotten everything because he'd gone over it again and again over the summer, forcing is brain to remember. Since he was a Ravenclaw, the smartest house there is, that wasn't really that big of a problem. Hehe.
"Thanks!" She started to get hungry again, so she, aswell, started piling on her plate. Some of the foods she knew but there were some that seemed different. But she didn't care. She piled everything on her plate, and refiled her cup. She ate as she listened.
Omg. So much!!!!!! she almost stopped eating in surpise at how much there was for her in store this next year. Almost, but not quite.
"I'd love a tour!" She said excitedly. If anyone was her tour guide, she was glad it was him. He seemed so nice! And the fact that a third year was talking to her, was one of the coolest things, in her mind. Right next to Hogwarts itself. She didn't think anything was cooler than this school. She took a few more bites, afraid to ask the next question. She sighed.
"How bad is the homework? I never liked homework back at my other school, and this seems like it would be worse. I know me, and i'm gonna end up being up past midnight, stressed out, crying over my homework that needs to be done the next day." She paused. Crying? Really, had she just said that?
"I mean, like when I get really stressed out I start crying. I don't know why. I just do. I'm not like a baby or anything." She let out a small, forced like, chuckle, and tried to smile. It came out in a sort of lopsided way. Whoops. That probably wasn't appealing. Well what about her was? She loved her long brown hair, and her green eyes, and her all around rosy cheecks, but did anyone else? She brushed off the feeling, and ate some more.
Gosh! I so miss being a young student at school XD

Enya began to tap her foot - in a bored way - while she listened to Louisa and Skye tell all their names and year. Yawnn. But she noticed Carin hadn't spoken at all. Maybe she was chickening out. Could this be Enya; 2 Carin; 0? She asked herself smirking at Carin across the table. Ah deention wouldn't be so bad if she won this round. Ha. This year was getting better and better already.
She still stood there - wondering when the teacher could dismiss her so she could shower and look her best - when she watched Louisa bring out her wand and show the Professor. Uh Why? Im guessing he didn't actually need to see it, just listen to her. She still was standing there when she heard Skye whisper the right spell to Louisa. Ha. She got it wrong, and she loved her for it. The sight of Carin was hilarious, who wouldn't want their enemy's looking like that? But she was getting bored, seriously bored. She wanted to go to bed. She'd done eating and drinking.
"Can i go please?" She asked, but not in her best voice. She direacted this at anyone in particular.
While Louisa stood there thinking about this situation, when Skye whispered to her. "What!!?" Louisa said too loudly. She cleared her throat quickly and then stared at Skye, how could Louisa say wrong spell? Was she serious? Well, she couldn't blame her she didn't know how smart Louisa was. "How could I say the wrong spell? I heard Carin so well!" She protested. Another voice in her head said that spells were complicated and Louisa wasn't prepared to do them. It truly was an honest mistake. Besides, admitting the mistake would gain her innocence in the professor's eyes.
And then Enya was askiing to go? Merlin's Beard! Someone had to teach this girl something. Where were her parents all those twelve years? Ha! Louisa wasn't going to let Enya go away... not now they all got into trouble because of her and Carin. She opened her mouth to speak. Tell him! Tell him that she and Carin fought by food! Do it!
Nah. No way.
She held on to Enya's robes with her hand in case she escaped. Heehee. Now that was another brilliant idea of hers. Grin.
Louisa waited for Carin to speak up and for the Prefect to tell what he saw. And maybe he would've forgotten his eye glasses and wasn't been able to see properly. Heehee. That would save the day!
"Yes, I am Rex's sister, do you know him?" she asked Rowan and then said to Daisy "I have, I am stuffed now!"
"Sort of," replied Rowan. "He introduced himself on the Express and did a jig for me." Rowan giggled remembering Rex's little dance. "I was feeling particularly lonely just then and he made me smile."
They were in trouble. Deep trouble she guessed. And trying to say it wasn't her fault hadn't help either. What was she to say!? Say it was all her? Ha. No way! Enya instead looked between the teacher, Louisa, Carin and Skye. Wondering what they would say. If all their stories were different they were in deeper trouble. But she wasn't going to confess. Why should she, she'd done nothing wrong.
Enya brushed some mroe food off her robes, wishing she could go get changed. NOW! Gah, she hated how she looked at the moment, really not the best look for her. And her make-up was running in the corners. SERIOUS PROBLEM! She eye'd the teacher, angry at him for keeping her there, she'd done nothing wrong!
She opened her mouth, casting Louisa a look, and began to say - lifting her finger to point at Carin. "She started it!" She cried glaring at the girl. How she hated her. It was HER fault she was covered in food! "She tipped Pumkpin juice on me first!" She next said turnig to look at the teacher.
"See im innocent..." She tired saying, not really caring if she'd get told off for being rude. Who cared!? Enya peeked back at Carin. "Then she tipped food over me!" She pointed at her clothes and cried. "Look what she did to my brand new robes!" She continued to glare at Carin. She'd pay for this, heaven forbid she would.
"I did nothing wrong!" She lied. She would NOT say how she tipped Pumpkin Juice over Carin as a pay back.

"That's enough," she said. "You will all stop right now, are you trying to get in trouble on the first day?" She would have said more, but she felt someone else come up behind her. She turned to see who it was, and her stomach plummeted. It was a teacher, no doubt about it. Skye sat back down slowly. She suddenly felt nauseous again.
"Er..." she said nervously. "I'm Skye Altheim. I'm a fourth year, but I just transferred to this school. I was talking to Enya and Louisa and Carin but I wasn't really involved in...all of this." She gestured towards the mess.
Well, this was just perfect. Hogwarts wasn't making too good of an impression on her so far. Skye wanted nothing more than to just be able to leave, go somewhere where there were no people, no food fights, nothing to make her more nervous than she already was.

"Louisa Ki…Louisa Carter, sir." She said hanging her head in shame. The situation made her forgot her real surname and she almost used her stepdad's one and that made her close to tears. How ashamed her mother would be if she found out about her daughter being sacked in her first night! Bloody hell she should do something! Running away and hiding sounded a great idea. She started to look around planning for her escape.
Thank you? Did the professor just thanked her for being honest? She glared at his stern face for a few seconds, how could a man with such face be nice and stern at the same time? Her lips twitched in an attempt of making a smile, but failed. Time to confess completely, she made up her mind.
She didn't do anything wrong, why being afraid of telling the truth?
But Enya would be punished!
Who cares?! She was rude and always is. Enya never gave a damn for Louisa.
She said she couldn't trust anyone! And if Louisa confessed that Enya poured the juice over Carin, then that wouldn't improve Enya's wrong view of people at all!
Who cares?! Again… Louisa shouldn't make sacrifices for Enya. The girl is a snotty little girl for God's sake!
Enough of this nonsense! She was going to confess about her spell but everything else was not her business!
"I tried to use a spell I saw someone does. But I think my wand doesn't work properly." She decided to tell exactly what she did without pushing people's names or deeds into her confession. Yeah, that was perfect. Smirk! Oh yeah and it was the wand's fault not hers, she was too smart to miss. Everyone knew that.
Then she took her wand out of her robes and held it in front of the teacher as if surrendering the crime weapon. She was a dramatic little thinker. "The incantation was something like Scavengy." She said the last word in a whisper. Who knew what her wand would do if she said it out loud. And then looked up at the professor hoping that he would not interrogate her more about this fight, she was so not going to tell on her friends.

"Again, Miss Mayberry, I did not ask for commentary or hysterics. I simple want to know, from start to finish, what happened. Calmly." He looked at her pointedly. There was far too much mess for that to be all. And he would tell her so. "The amount of disruption I witnessed from the staff table, and the mess here, don't seem to add up to your telling of events." He would give her a moment to mull that over.
Turning, then, to the eldest in the bunch, "Could you kindly tell me what this is, then? So long as no one is willing to tell me what happened in a manner than convinces me that that's what happened, I am going to consider you all responsible."
Turning then the the first year, he smiled, hearing first her confession and then the older girls correction. " Accidents happen." He took her wand from her and feigned examining it. "It looks to be in proper order to me," he said, before kneeling down to hand it back to her. "It's usually a good idea to have someone teach you a spell, first, before you try it, especially if you're going to try it on someone else," he whispered, leaning in. "But don't worry, that's what school is for." He patted her on the shoulder, before standing once more.
"No, Miss Mayberry, you may not. You will stay here. All of you will stay here until someone tells me what happened." He crossed his arms in front of his chest once more.
"Now, what I know is there is a far bigger mess than Miss Mayberry's story would imply, and a misperformed scourgify performed on someone who was not, by Miss Mayberry's account, affected. So, last chance, ladies, for someone to tell me what happened. House points get taken, next."
And then, maybe, if he liked what he heard, he'd clean them up.

Enya eye'd the Professor in angry. She had told him what happened so why wasn't he letting her go. She needed to clean up! It was all Carin's fault! Grrr. She next glared at Carin across the table, if not for her talking about her behind her back she'd not be in this mess. It. Was. All. Carin's. Fault. Annoying. Little. Girl. She told herself glaring at the fellow Second year.
"I told you what happened" She argued turning to face the Professor, why couldn't he take that as a statement, she did after all tell the truth! She glared at the Professor. She paushed for a moment. "Look at me! And Carin. She's covered in fur because of Louisa and im covered in food because of Carin." She delcared raising her voice a little.
And now he was adressing Skye, like she wasn't there. And soon after Louisa. What!? He was being kind! But-But. She stamped her foot slightly. All this was really annoying! She wanted to sleep. The food look she was wearing at the moment didn't suit her either. GAH!
"No.." She tried to argue, her angry swelling up, "I told you what happened, i should be able to go" She next said looking at the Professor. Well she should souldn't she? Yeah! But no the Professor was still asking for a expliation of the events. There seem to be no way out. Why did she bother. Sigh. Enya sat down on the bench before her and refused to speak.

Besides, the house had to be great if he was sitting here, no doubt. With a swish of his hair, letting it fall into perfect place, Noel looked over to the other girl who hadn't given much of an introduction. Perhaps, shy? "Bonjour, miss." he said with another one of his charming smiles. "Will you be staying in ze Ravenclaw dorms az well?"

"Unfortunately not. I belong with Slytherin" she directed over to the table with the green banner and their majestic snake. "But that doesn't stop me visiting my Ravenclaw friends now would it?" she grinned widely. Especially with Pretty Boy here. No, she would be making frequent visits. Plus she needed to keep up with Vashti's apparent 'World Domination.' And the Runes do not lie.
*Happy Siiiiiiigh*

And although the blonde should have been used to the French, her memory loss prevented her from doing so. Back to whatever it was they were talking about, Trixie took a quick glance at her favourite Ravvie and then turned back to....Err what was his name?
She hadn't introduced herself yet? Oops. "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be so rude, my name is Trixie" the 16 year old grinned back. "And yours?" because she had totally forgotten to ask him that. "I would love to be friends." Yes that was entirely truthful and this time, although it may have been rare, she wasn't being sarcastic one bit.

I hope you'll make our guests welcome, and I hope you will take an opportunity to get to know them and to learn more about their cultures. Headmaster Zitnik and Headmistress Enzo have traveled a great distance with their four champions, and we are pleased to have them."
He waited a moment before continuing. "Our own champions will be selected very soon. Sometime in the next few days, the Goblet of Fire will be set up in the Entrance Hall. Any student who will be turning 17 during this school year is eligible to put their name into the Goble, which will select four Hogwarts candidates from that pool. By putting your name in the Goblet, you acknowledge the understanding that you are putting yourself into peril. I don't intend anyone to die... but it happens. An age line will be set up around the Goblet, as per usual, to repel anyone not old enough."
Another pause. "I regret to inform the students that Quidditch will be suspended for the term, but we hope to resume it next term. On that cheery note, I welcome all our new students and staff members, bid you eat and drink while the food is abundant, and then... to bed!" He clapped and the tables were suddenly laden with food. The feasting could begin.
Ohhh, cool, a Beauxbatons guy. French. Vashti always liked that accent. Still grinning as he introduced himself and added that he would, in fact, be staying in the Ravenclaw dorms, she answered, "That's great!" And it was.
Oh hey look, Trixie was here too. Vashti was about to speak to her but then her attention was caught by the staff table, where Headmaster Tate was giving his speech. Oh good, so she'd be able to eat soon. Finally. She was SO hungry, as always. She couldn't wait to-
She stopped, eyes wide, mouth agape. She'd just heard the words 'Quidditch' and 'suspended' used in the same sentence, without a 'not' in between them.
"WHAT?!" she shrieked, quite unfortunate for any near her who valued their eardrums. But she hardly cared. NO QUIDDITCH? AT ALL? THAT was NOT good. Not good at all. Horrid really. Absolutely, totally, completely horrid and evil and just...
She wasn't hungry anymore.

Cosette sipped on her pumpkin juice once more, giving him a look. A look that was saying, 'Oh please.' Setting her chalice back on the table, she licked her lips and looked over at the food on the table. She wasn't particularly hungry, but that baguette did make her want some more food. Maybe a slice of ham would satisfy her. Turning her attention back to Jack, before she started eating a feast for herself, which she would not do, she smiled and nodded. "In the middle of the Great Hall during the Opening Feast?" She made a fake gasp and placed a hand over her chest in shock. "My my, dear. I would think you were being saucy, Jack."
Patting his hand that was on his lap, she glanced from the corner of her eye the Beauxbaton boy. He looked really familiar. If he was her year or above, she must know him. She had been kicked out during the fair middle of the term, so she must have seen him last.. last year? Biting her lip, she moved her eyes back to her hand on Jacks. Well, she was with a particular handsome boy right now. And with her scheming going all right, she should just stick with him for the moment. Until she could get a moment alone with her fellow French man.
"Oh? I'm turning seventeen this year." She though she heard Headmaster Tate say that anyone turning seventeen during the term could put their name in. Smiling, she squeezed his hand. "Imagine me becoming a Triwizard Champion. You would be worried during every task, wouldn't you be?" She teased, rolling her tongue over an amused smile on her face. She was excited about the year, and she hoped she would be chosen to face such peril.
And there she went calling him 'Hot and Spicy' again. Only this time, it was a variation of the compliment. He still liked it though, it was much more creative in what he had been called before. He'd have to think of something just as imaginitive in order to woo a Ravenclaw. A nerdy Ravenclaw, in which she had called herself, actually. So, he wasn't being rude. "Of course. Then our fellow classmates can merely, bask in our awesomeness and our amazing ability to flirt." That much was true, seductive and mysterious; just how he liked it.
Though hand touching and the lip-biting really distracted him for a while, but not long enough for Jack to notice Coestte glance over at that boy again. The girls he had been talking with today kept doing that, and it was becoming annoying. They weren't even that special. Granted, they were very handsome men (not as beautiful as some of the girls that were visiting, mind you), but it was still very rude. Jack was doing well to not oogle at the girls! Oogling wasn't Jack's thing.
YES. She was older, that made it a lot more interesting. He thought about this, and even though he hated to admit it, He probably would. Because it would be such a downer on his day if Cosette got that pretty little head of hers ripped off by some sort of giant, or just disappeared in a maze. That and, it would be one less person he could kiss whenever he felt like, that REALLY sucked. Though now she had said it, he wondered if it would hurt Cosette's feelings if he said he wouldn't. But then would he look like a little girl if he said he did worry. Hmmmm. "Worried, yes. But I think more cheering you on, love." And then he could imagine if their was a swimming related round, in which Cosette would have to wear a swimsuit. Hehehe. "I wouldn't need to worry anway. You know how to take care of yourself."
well, off to bed pour moi...then back to school, ewww. night!

Skye looked up at the teacher. It wasn't as bad as she'd first imagined, but she still wanted to stay out of the incident. However, it looked like that was going to be impossible. Skye didn't want to get these people into trouble (especially Enya, whom she was slightly scared of) but her desire to set things right overpowered her. She struggled internally for a moment, trying to find her voice, then launched into the briefest explanation she could while still getting all of the key details.
"Well, Professor, it started when Louisa came over here. She and Enya apparently had some sort of argument before the start of term, and Enya was still angry. Then Carin-" Here she pointed at the fur-covered Carin, who had so far remained silent. "-came to the table. She told off Enya for behaving so rudely toward Louisa, so then the two of them started arguing. Carin knocked a glass of juice onto Enya's robes. That part was an accident, but Enya thought it was on purpose, so she..kind of upended a whole jug of juice on Carin...She and Carin got very angry at each other then. Carin cleaned up the juice spill with the Scourgify charm, but then she knocked a basket of crumpets at Enya. I think that part was intentional. When Louisa tried to clean up Carin, she said the spell wrong and...well..." Skye gestured towards Carin, trying to make the point that she was clearly covered in fur. "This is where this prefect tried to step in, and a few moments later you arrived, sir." That was enough, wasn't it? Skye felt as though that was a pretty good explanation.
Skye felt a twinge of disapproval when Enya asked to leave. She had been causing a lot of the trouble after all. But at the same time, Skye, too, wanted to just get away from all of it. She wasn't about to just ask, though.

The room suddenly felt cold as she almost ran to the table. It seemed as if everyone was staring at her. Like nobody wanted her to come near them. But, of course, Elizabeth was just interpreting the looks wrong. Right?
She slowed her pace as the table grew nearer. Her robes swished at the change of speed, blowing her hair around. Elizabeth's bright blue eyes searched for someone to sit with. Someone who didn't look really mean. The closer she got, the more impact the smells had and the harder it was to find someone.
And then... Ha! There's a girl over there! She doesn't look mean! In fact, she's smiling! With a full mouth, but still.
Elizabeth felt all color drain from her face, her own personal way of blushing, as she said, "Hi. I'm Elizabeth. Is there anyone sitting here?"
Hmph. Not so awkward. She didn't stutter or babble or speak too quickly. She gave herself an internal high-five for that one.

ooc: I feel very tardy
"Oh Hi! I'm Pamphylia. You can just call me Pam. Sure come sit! Grab some food!" She said letting out another yawn. She took some more to eat, and washed it down with more pumpkin juice. Wow She thought. This is REALLY good. Oh. Wait I hope this isn't cafinated... crap
"Hey, do either of you know if this is cafinated?" She said pointing at her drink half full of pumpkin juice.
" Nice to see you again, too" Rex told Rowan. "Have enought to eat?" Rex asked Rowan. "Are you looking forward to school" Rex asked Rowan.
" " Great, for yoiu about your summer" Rex told Emily. " You were called Vadoma?" Rex asked her. "Id there a story behinfd that name?" Rex asked Emily. " Kay and I are not together now but I am hoping to get her back" Rex explained to Emily.
Emily laughed heartily, "Oh my Rex, yes. Vadoma means the knowing one, and I am the new knowing one in my gypsy village. I thought i told you that last year at the lake... but of course you were a little distracted... that was around the time you and kay were fighting a lot." Her mysterious smile once again graced her face as she lifted her almost bare feet from the floor and started towing with the leg of the table she had sat in front of.
"Neptune, that is a great name!" she looked over to the Gryffindor table, "I am looking for my brother, he is a gryffindor!"
Rex came up behind Victoria. He tickled her. " Looking for me sis" Rex told Victoria. "I see you met my friend Rowan" rex said to Victoria. " Are you eating well?" Rex asked Victoria.

" How are you?" Rex asked Rowan. " I see you met my sister" Rex said to Rowan. " did you like my Irish Jig?" Rex asked Rowan. " Hopefully, you, Victoria and I can hang out" rex explained to Rowan.

Jen skipped to the Ravenclaw table in a happy mood. She sat down and helped herself with a plate of food while she waited for her boyfriend, Adam, to join her.

"Doing better all the time, thanks to you. Your little jig really made me feel better," Rowan said with a big smile. "That would be fun but are you sure you guys would want to hang with me? After all, I am only a first year."
Annie quietly took her seat at the Ravenclaw table, maybe after listening the news and seeing the many foreign students being interviewed by the Hogwarts ones. If only she had the courage to just go through a conversation with one of them, get to learn about other schools and thus, getting to know why they were chosen as to be future champions.
Maybe she'd get to talk to some friends, maybe not. And maybe she'd get to talk to the visitors at some point of the night.

Adam saw Jen, and was determined to tell her what was on his mind and heart. "hey Jenny...I really have to tell you something" he said seriously

" oh yes, I remember the name of Vadoma now' Rex told Emily. " Yes, sorry I was disstracted last term" Rex said to Emily. "So do i call you Emily or Vadoma?" Rex asked her. "Well, I am in love with Kay after I missed time with her, but I am not sure if she is still in love with me" Rex explained to Emily. " Just between you and me, I have no one else at all" Rex sighed.

Jen's smile faded and she raised an eyebrow. "What is it, Adam?"
"uhmm...I want to talk about us" Adam said "I want to be as honest as possible to you. I have to admit that I love you and....I still love Selena. So I want us to go our seperate ways...I really need to get away and clear mind..." Adam said pouring his heart out.

Jen sat there and stared at Adam for the longest time. "If that's what you want, don't let me stand in your way." she finally said quietly.
