LeGASP. She was back, she was HOME. This was Maddie's home, she was sure of it. she belonged here. Heading over to her favourite armchair by the fire, she settled down comfortably and plugged in her iPod, pulling out a battered muggle book to read.

Ahh. It felt nice to back.

hello she walk up to her i'm august she said with a smile.

Rowan entered the common room, exhausted and ready for bed but she noticed two girls near the fire and decided to introduce herself before going to bed. "Hello, ladies. I'm Rowan. Rowan Firestorm," she said.

Maddie turned with a smile and waved at the two girls behind her 'Hi, guys. I'm Maddie Force' she said happily. GAH. She was just so excitedd! It felt like being a firstie all over again... hehe. Firsties were so cute, and these two girls were definitely firsties. Maybe she could adopt them as MIN!Maddies? That would be soo cool!

Would he call this home? Maybe. It was a place he was staying, but Kellen still didn't feel convinced that Ravenclaw tower was his home-away-from-home, as it were. His two closest friends were in different houses, after all. Still, it was the first night here, and he might as well shift his antisocial behind and summon up an ounce of house spirit.

"Hey," he waved at some younger girls, hoping they were firsties as he added, "welcome to Ravenclaw."

Pamphylia walked into the Common room. She couldn't believe her eyes! The ceiling is covered in stars!!!!!! YES! She walked around and took everything in. SHE COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! She was at her new home!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The common room. Lovely as always. Vashti had missed it so much over the summer that, despite her unhappy mood and desire to go to bed, she felt compelled to stay there. A few fellow Ravies were here too. Hm. To talk or not to talk? That was indeed the question.

"Hey back at ya," Rowan replied to the older boy. "I'm Rowan."

Sandra demanded a word with her headmaster, and with their headmaster. Housing her in the HIGHEST tower of the castle. Just who's bright idea was this? Had to have been the Hogvartians headmaster. Zitnik would have never made her walk all those stairs.

There had to have been a reason why she wasn't already complaining to both men about this indecency. Sparing a sideways glance to the young man beside her she smirk softly. That was why. The walk up all seven floors hadn't been so bad with Noel. Pleasant even.

Stepping through the portal hole, leaving it open for her new foreign friend, she let her eyes glide around the common room. Now she had known why they placed her with the 'Claws. The room was beautiful, a little too much blue and bronze for her liking, but still a lovely place to spend studying with her new male friends.

"There common room is lovely." She glanced up at the ceiling, more stars. This school seemed to be obsessed with stars. "I think the valk was vorth it..."

"I'm Kellen." She wasn't close enough to offer a handshake, so he just smiled at her, "Looking forward to classes?"



There came the foreign students, and Kellen followed her gaze up to the ceiling. It wasn't... really something he ever looked at. Once upon a time his cousin had told him a story about turkeys standing still and looking up when it rained, the ending of said story being rather unfortunate for the turkeys, and he'd never really stopped and stared vertically ever since.

But was the walk worth it? Hmm, the Jury of Stern was still out on that one.

Jacob dragged his feet all the way up the stairs... which he need to learn forwards and backwards before he and patroclus make anymore plans, they needed a layout of the stair... as Jacob entered the common room he let out a long groan. Every Year just had to start of a bad note. Last year it was just Jacob being Jacob, but now there was good reason for Jacob to be cranky. They Suspended Quidditch! It was Madness, sensless, and completely wrong... why could they cancel something boring like, alright he couldn't what else to cut, but there had to be something... He was going to complain to Vindictus, and maybe, he might, write to Tate a nasty, angry, well written letter! Maybe...

"Suspend Quidditch!" he mumbled... "It's... It's Treason!"

The walk up to the supposed 'highest tower' wasn't so bad like he thought it would be, mostly because he had such good company with him, but he could already see how this will becoming quite annoying. He almost wished that Headmistress Enzo would make him stay in the carriage.

Heaving a sigh when they finally made it to the common room, Noel waited for Sandra to walk in first before going in himself. "Merci beaucoup..." he muttered, having seen the lovely lady herself keeping the portrait door open for him. Now, finally taking a look around, he was surprised at how blue everything was. He was quite used to the color blue, but not as many as there seemed to be in the room.

What really caught his attention was the white marble statue though. Who was that? And why was a statue created for them? "Oui, it was." he said, continuing to look around the circular room. Clearing his throat as he noticed some chairs and tables, he glanced over to Sandra before gesturing to one of the seats. "Would you like to sit? Or will you be heading to ze dormitory."

Either would be fine, though he himself wanted to check out the bookcases.

Looking very unhappy about the thought of no quidditch that term, JD glowers at anyone that even looked at him. How could they suspend quidditch?!?! He finally is able to contribute to the team, and be a decent seeker, got himself an awesome broom, and he can't even use it!

Growling at a few first years he stomps up the stairs to the dorms.

Keeley skipped into the Ravenclaw common room, positively overjoyed. FINALLY! She was back!!! GAH! The 'claw tower looked as beautiful as ever, and the walk up the stairs was most definatley worth it. Plopping into William's favorite armchair, (mwahaha!) she pulled out her sketchbook and started doodling some nommy cupcakes, playing with her fluffy red hair. One thing was for sure. NOOO sleeping tonight! Nonono! There was too much excitement and too many gummy bears to eat and tooooo much hyperness to waste.

Sleep. That was what Kel wanted. So, why was he not going straight up to his dorm, and to his comfortable, oh-so-familiar bed he so desperately wanted to sink into at this moment? Well, the answer was simple. He just couldn't pass up the common room.

With it's couches and chairs, and fireplace, it had to be his favorite place in the whole castle. He could give up a bit of sleep to enjoy it. And a plus; there was new people. He debated between going to talk, and just relaxing, and in the end he plopped down on one side of one of the big fluffy couches. He'd talk to someone, if he got up the energy to go to them.

Oooh. Foreigner. And he was French? Maddie was bored out of her skull, so she decided to go over and greet the Beauxbatons student, whom she supposed was here for the Tournament. Eh... she wished she could put her name in. But watching and chering was just as fun sometimes. Plus it meant that she wouldn't DIE. Becasue people died in this Tournament thingy, apparently. Which was just plain scary...

Standing up and approaching the older boy, Maddie smiled happily 'Hallo!' she said, looking cheeful at the prospect of meeting a new person - and one from her own country at that! 'I'm Madeleine Force, and I just wanted to welcome you to the Ravenclaw tower! I hope you find everything you need, but you can always ask one of us if not'

Sandra noticed one of the eagle students looking at her as she had gazed at their start obsessed ceiling, and spared him a glance. She had not seen him at the table, she would have remembered him if she did. Giving him a small smile, she turned her attention back to Noel.



Everything about the room explained to her why this house was called the brightest of all four houses. All the tables and books for doing some after hour studying. Spotting Noel looking at a statue of some woman she turned her attention to the marble woman. "Do you think its their head?" Of all the information she remembered about the school, who the head of the eagles was had slipped her mind.

"Sitting sounds nice. I don't think I am ready to sleep just yet." The festivities and her travels had drained her of a lot of her energy, but the night was still young and she wanted to speak more with Noel. Strolling over to one of the chairs, she passed by the bookshelf and let her eyes wonder. At least she wouldn't have to leave the room if she wanted to read a book. "Did you vant to sleep?" He had been such a gentleman and catering to what she wanted, which she loved, that she had almost forgotten about his wants. Almost.

Their head? The woman there? "I do not know." he said truthfully, taking in all the detail work of the statue. "Zey must be quite important zough to be made into a statue." Perhaps it was the Ravenclaw head then? He hadn't studied much on the Hogwarts school, having been too busy studying for this tournament, so he only had his theories.

Hearing that she wanted to sit down though, Noel smiled and followed her over to the chairs. On the way however, his eyes were glued to all the books, trying to read the titles of them as they passed by. "Oh, non, I am not tired az of yet." Okay, so that was a bit of a lie. He could sleep right now if he really wanted to, but why sleep when he could be talking to Sandra? When they reached the chairs, he pulled one out for her, and waited for her to sit before taking his own seat. Resting his arm on the table they sat by, his eyes flickered over to the bookcases again, already eager to take one down. "So, how are you liking the Hogwarts school so far?"

Not seconds after he spoke did he hear someone else speaking quite nearby. "Bonjour." he replied instantly, before looking over to see who it was. The young girl seemed quite cheerful at the moment, even at this late hour. "Aw merci, mademoiselle. It iz nice to meet you, and I will surely ask if I need anyzing. Zat iz very kind of you."

Smiling, he tapped his fingers quietly on the table for a moment before realizing one big mistake. Ah, he had forgotten to introduce himself! "Pardon moi..." he muttered, sitting up straight and facing the girl."My name iz Noel Laurent." How rude of him!

Damon entered the common. He was very pleased to be back in school for another. The summer had been a boring one, but now it was time to go back to this learning environment. Finding an empty couch he sat down and went over his various school supplies that he had. Now he wanted to see if he could meet these champions from the other schools.

It was tempting, oh so tempting, to grab one of the numerous throw pillows scattered around the common room and bean Keys over the head with it. He hadn't seen the older boy in quite a long time, and was catching the first-night excitement from all the other people wandering into the room. It was like a flu virus or something.

In the end, he settled for sitting on the arm of the couch and doing a lazy wave, "Hey Keys. Good summer?"

Kellen smiled back at her, not in the right mindset to go over and start blurting awkward welcomes to the school. Besides, what was he going to do, offer to walk her to the stairs of the girls' dormitories? Lame. The foreign students were going to be here all year; plenty of time to talk with them.

Hugo looked around. The common room was so beautiful. He looked out of the window. What a great view. For a while he was just staring, not even thinking. Then he saw there were other people. He walked up to a girl who looked like he did, really excited.

"Hey! I'm Hugo. What's your name?" He felt like he needed to introduce himself to lots of people.

Jenny looked around in wonder as she stepped into the common room for the first time. So is this where she is going to live for the next seven years?! So much blue...it's amazing how one can live with so much blue (not that she minded anyway). Stifling a yawn, she climbed up the stairs to find her dorm (wherever it is). Maybe she could try talking to the other Ravenclaws or even the foreign students tomorrow or some other day...then again, it's best not to bother them.

Morgana entered the Common Room and searched for someone she knew. At last, she found Maddie, her look-a-like, though she tried hard not to bring it up in fear that she might scare her away. Maddie was talking to an attractive (but, darn, to old) Beauxbatons boy. "Hey Maddie! What's up?" She asked cheerfully.
