UGH! FINALLY! She got across the finish line. Slowing down to an almost stop, she cast a quick ‘Finite’ on the wooden horse before jumping off, thankful that she didn’t stumble or worse…fall. Her hair was a mess though. Running her hands through it for a moment to fix it, Evelyn picked up the wooden horse and turned around, listening to what was being said by the professor. Aw right, FAR end of the field…meh. Maybe she could fly over there… Nah, she’d much rather watch Purple Head throw a tantrum over being called a clown boy. Hehe, one point to Marie! Woah woah woah, what!? Raising a brow, Evelyn stopped and glared at the Purple Head. Thug friends? Ew. Thug sounded so…not cool. She would have to have a chat with the Ravenclaw later on; perhaps get on some kind of agreement on what was acceptable to call them. Maybe she could ask Lafay for a few extra permissions on some stuff? Hmm, she’ll have to think about it. For now though…. "Excellent lesson as always, Professor Carlton." She said kindly, waving to the professor before turning around and walking away. Not. Shaving cream and feathers!? Really. |

When he heard his name, he was scared to look up. Maybe it was a mutant TALKING bird. But then he realized that he recognized the voice as that of Professor Carlton's. Looking up, he realized where he was. He started to calm down a bit. But then he noticed all his classmates heading in to the castle...covered in feathers. "Birds. They all look like birds. Scary, scary birds." he whimpered. He only hoped he didn't look as bad. Which he didn't really, having taken off most of the feathers. "Don't let them hurt me!" he yelled, putting his arms around his head again. Protection, that's what that is. |
Rex levitated the boxes ro the front of the classroom. Then Rex decided to carry the boxes back into Professor Carlton's office. " Glad you could use my help" Rex smiled at the professor. |

As the professor went on to have her discussions with the other students, Grayson started to turn away. To head back off the field and back to the castle, but she couldn't resist saying anything else. "Well, I guess I'll see you later. Next class, if not before." Now she needed to head back to retrieve the rest of her things from the classroom and then figure out what she was going to do next. Not to mention she was keeping Draco close for a while. |
Iris clambered off her horse when Professor Carlton said the race was over. WOOO! She'd made it round five times! Looking over to where someone was curled up on the floor, yelling about birds, Iris frowned.... It was Jimbo. She hurried over to there, whilst making sure she had no feathers left on her, and then sat down on the floor next to Jimbo, and put her hand on his shoulder, to get his attention. This whole... bird rant... it wasn't because of HIM being a bird, was it? Or... was it just because he was just scared of birds in general? ... Either way, they'd be spending a LONG time with Jimbo freaking out over pigeons. The prefect looked up at Professor Carlton. "Uh, This was a really good lesson, Professor. Thankyou." Then she turned to face Jimbo, "Eeeey, Are you okay?" |
Rowan had enjoyed this lesson, but was happy to return her wooden horse. She felt a little silly riding around on it. She walked over to Cass. "Thanks for the loan of the hat," she said as she passed it back to the girl. "Thanks for the lesson, Professor. It was fun. And I apologize for my rudeness earlier. I was so excited that someone had actually noticed me that I momentarily forgot myself. See you next lesson." She smiled, and made her way back to the classroom to take down the homework assignment. |
Tory chuckled to herself, she really did like the professor. She seemed to be a charming, creative, young lady. Finally a lesson she'd really, really enjoyed. "Thank you for this lesson professor. It was so much fun." she grinned. |

Was the child...scared of...the feathers? Lexi gave a half-disapproving glance then tapped him a few times on the shoulder, urging him to stand up. "Alright, alright. They're only feathers, so I think you'll be safe. No--I know you'll be safe," she insisted. When the Slytherin prefect came over to check on things, Lexi assumed the boy was now in safe hands. "Please help your housemate back to class. He's alright--just afraid of the feathers," she reported. She gave the boy one last good look then turned to Rex again. Quote:
