The white stone hut looks like it belongs on the beach of Acapulco, seeming a tad fragile with plant stalks making up the roof. But fear not, Maya has made sure it won't collapse on you during a heavy rainfall.
When approaching the ornate door you see a sitting area to the left, also with a roof for shade against the sun – if the British weather allows for any. Feel free to take a seat here while you wait for the Professor.

When you step inside, the first thing you notice is the colorful decoration. Following the traditions of the Mexican lifestyle, Maya has placed several zarapes around the hut (which are also strewn around the floor to serve as carpets) and any other keepsakes - reminding her of family and home. The white walls are adorned with picture frames and paintings, most of which were done by her mother.

To the right, you see an open fireplace with more pictures on the mantlepiece. There is a single white rocking chair across from it that Maya highly values. Please don't sit on it – instead, you are welcome to rest behind it, on the large comfy sofa. Keep your feet off the coffe table though!

A big window to the left side of the hut lets daylight pour inside, litting the room. This is the place where Maya's desk is situated for her to start working on assignments and the curriculum. There's a tall bookshelf next to it where all her favorite litterature is stored aswell as books on various Creatures, Veterinary Medicin and Magizoology.

Please remember to knock before entering. If any lack of respect is shown, Maya will not hesitate to take points.
Now, when you are called inside, please take off your shoes as Maya likes to walk around barefoot and wants to keep her home clean. Thankyou.

The Professor is in.

Do not constipate Maya's office with chatter.

But the Mexicana considered hersef an expert in animal poo. Dungbombs were definitely no stranger to her.

Simon decided that he would answer the question that the Professor had asked. "I love working with plants." He looked straight at Treyen and then back at the Professor he was wondering why the Professor was asking such a strange question. "Professor why do you want to know if we like working with plants?" Simon was scared now surely there wasn't that much mud on his hand was there. "Can we please go now Professor?" Simon was getting scared of this professor.

He had nothing to hide, nothing! Quite literally, of course. His face turned to face Saylen as soon as she asked the question, and then he frowned. "What kind of plants?" was she going to make them make jam again, like Dodson? Because that was something he'd refuse to do. "Not really...why do you--Ooooh" ooooh, look at Simon's hands!

"Actually, Professor..." his face changed so quickly one could easily get even more suspicious if you weren't already, "...I do. I've just come from the Greeeeeehouses and all...that's why I stopped by, because I was close, you know" aha, in reality the Greenhouses weren't that close, not especially with all the turn you have to make before entering Saylen's territory.

His frown was long gone, it appeared he was smirking, because there was no way Saylen was going to bust them now. Ha!

Simon looked at the Professor and then back to Treyen he wasn't going to say a word until Treyen said something then whatever Treyen said Simon would agree to, that would mean that they would both have the same story and hopefully then the Professor would believe him.

Treyen nodded, with a big smile on his face. "Yes, plants, of course" well, didn't he had to travel through them in order to get here? He wasn't lying, you know, he was just...altering the truth.

Then he entirely faked not knowing what she was talking about, "Dungbombs? I have no idea what you're talking abo--" about? Yes. The boy looked down at his hands, there was no dirt there. Nothing at all! She was making everything up, ooooh, wait a minute. Eyes ever so narrow he noticed the little spot in his hand. Gulp. That didn't look good, but his face was neutral. Until punishment was mentioned.

"Punishment? Why are we being punished for? I wasn't doing anything, and I'm pretty sure that Simon was just taking a walk through the grounds" he nodded, and then thought of something else, "He loves spending time outdoors, Professor" Treyen actually didn't know if this was true or not, but he could always pretend to be talking about his owl in case Simon decided to say otherwise.

"I already said it, I was coming from the Greenhouses because...well, that's where I was...and I was on my way to tell you about that research of mine" he was such an amazing actor, really, like Gilderoy had been, "I'm more than positive that Simon was just walking around, really" he said, gesturing towards the boy in question.

And then...remove the source of the smell? What, the Dungbomb? But that will give them away! "We can help you if you want us to, but I'm afraid I don't know what the source is" now, this was a complete lie. He was guilty of charge right there. The rest of it was just truth being altered ever so slightly.

Simon smiled . "Yeah Professor all I was doing was taking a walk when I tripped in something." Simon showed the Professor his hands. "That is why I have all the muck on my hands." Simon then turned towards Treyen. "I was going to go and wash them when I saw Treyen and I decided that I would say hi to him since I haven't seen him for awhile."

Simon looked at the Professor when she said they had to remove the source in question. "I'd love to help you, but like Treyen said we have no idea what the source is." Simon lied, he of course knew where the dungbombs where but he wasn't going to let the Professor know that.

They were wasting her time and the Mexicana was wishing them gone from her sight. Like right now. Taking a deep breath, her voice came out calm and controlled. There was no hint of anger or exhasperation. "Merlin help you if you are not telling the truth...because if you are not, you'll be wishing you'd come clean the first time."

Crossing her arms on her chest, she paused for a moment before making her decision. "If that is all, you should go. I've got more important things to do." Adios, muchachos.

The boy looked at Simon and smiled with his eyes, there was no way he was going to let Saylen see him smile right now, she'd know how happy he was that they didn't get caught. Luck.

A frown could be seen in his face. If she ever figured out what they were really doing the whole evidence won't exist and she'll have nothing on them, NOTHING! But, yeah, whatever. Simon looked at the Professor. "Well I thought whilest I was here I'll come and have a chat with you professor." Simon smiled. "I want to ask you for you oppinion." Simon smiled, he was glad that he had Treyen with him, because otherwise he wouldn't have known what to do.

Now, where was that piece of paper? Oh, that's right! He hadn't come to tell Saylen about his research, that's why the piece of paper was nowhere to be seen in his bag. "After quite some research..." and fighting for a book in the Library with Sir Fletcher, "...I've found that since Nifflers do live in lairs up to twenty feet down there..." he said, gesturing towards the ground, "...then their food consists of earthworms, some insects...like mayflies, grasshoppers, beetles...ants, possibly, since Nifflers have a long pointed snout" now he was demonstrating how a long snout would look, by simply gesturing on his face, as if Saylen didn't know, "They do eat grubs, and plenty of roots" you know, the earth has plenty of those.

But wait! This isn't over! "About what kind of food was the former Professor feeding Phineas, I find it most likely to be a combination of those I said earlier, though, mostly roots, since they do carry much more minerals required for their growth" he nodded.

Take that Saylen! He was an awesome researcher, was he not? And he also possessed the amazing power of deductive reasoning, like the Astronomy Professor once said to the class.

Was he allowed to see Phineas now?

Soooo, Saylen had made his day happy. And it didn't start that way. Amazing. But...wait...did that mean that he was allowed inside the Nursery? She failed to say the most important thing!

Treyen nodded when she spoke and then he shook his head at her next words, "I did know a bit from last term, but most of my time in the Library this term was dedicated to Nifflers" and a whole other bunch of stuff, mostly homework things, and helping Fletcher with the tournament, "I even asked Mr. Masterson if he knew something about them, only to find out that he'd been turned into a Niffler in the past" he sighed, very loudly, remembering that visit. But the outcome had been pretty good. Soooo....

....his eyes widened slightly when he noticed who he was telling this. He was supposed to be doing the research on his own, not asking for help around the school, right?

Never mind.

"Either way, am I granted access?" he asked, the sweetest smile ever. "Also, Professor, what is the best place to set loose a Dugbog?" he asked, eyes on the beautiful grounds Hogwarts had.

That was the last question. Promise.
