Upon stepping through the door, you are probably quite surprised (or not) to find yourself standing on a Baseball Field. Or a miniature version of it anyway. Even though, the ceiling looks like the actual sky outside it is only echanted to do so and is actually only a magically enhanced ceiling of which, say, a baseball would easily bounce off.
As you step in further, you might notice a rather bulky box which is obviously full of...something. Furthermore, a huge pile of sneakers can be seen, sneakers in all sizes and colors and variations. You wait for the rest of the class to file in.
"Ready." she said, tossing Fee the ball. "Are you ready?" she asked her smiling. Sophia was ready. She had been playing baseball almost her whole life.
"Lets go", Fee smiled.
She got into position and threw the ball straight at Sophia.
Trowing with one hand was easy but catching it with the gloved one again was another thing.
Carpe Diem: Make today extraordinary! WOOT WOOT! GRYFFINDOR!!

Sophia caught the ball. She smiled. It felt good to play her favorite sport again. "INCOMING!" she yelled towards Fee. She threw the ball very high in the air.
Kita smiled at Vienna. "Pleasure to meet you, Vienna," she said, "Well, i'm kind of glad. We can be rubbish together!" She wasn't a big fan of sports and doing badly in front of someone who hasn't heard of baseball is far better than doing badly in front of someone who is a pro.
"So, let's get the ball and gloves, then," she said, smiling.
Vienna was relieved inside when she heard Kita say We can be Rubbish together
Smiling back back she said "I would love to be Rubbish with you" Following Kita she went over to collect the ball and gloves
"Thank ye Professor!" he says brightly, smiling slipping the glove onto his right hand. Grabbing a ball, he tosses it up in the air catching it in his glove, over and over walking back to where his two partners were...or had been.
Turning around he wonders where they'd gotten to, hadn't they just been right there? He was positive he had two partners, he had hadn't he. Looking around quizzically, he tries to remember who they were. One was....a hufflepuff? Ummmm
Wow. "You're left handed? That's brilliant!" because Treyen enjoyed unique things, and he wasn't a lefty, sooooo....
The boy took a glove, and he placed it on his hand...correctly, or so he thought.
What were they supposed to be doing? Just throwing a ball? Like...Quaffles, no? He could do that, it was soooo easy, even if he was a failure as a Chaser. Ha.
"Throw it here!" he said to JD, the glove was backwards, by the way.

And...Arya should go and get her glove.
Turning around as he heard a voice asking if he was left handed. "There ye are!" Shaking his head, he knew his partners had been somewhere. He really should get to know more people in the school... he thought to himself.
Stopping tossing the ball up in the air, he goes to throw it, when he looks at the boys glove, bursting out laughing, he shakes his head "Uhh, Treyen...the glove goes on the other hand. Isn't thet a little uncomfortable?" His eyes twinkling in laughter, he goes to help. "Ye want te wear it on the opposite hand thet ye throw with."
Oh, please....please....please, don't say Don't you catch and throw with the same hand... If he did, JD was pretty sure he would be in a fit of giggles. He could just picture it, throwing the ball with the glove on, and both the glove and ball flying off in opposite directions. Just picturing that makes him snort!

There you are? Was JD lost or something?
Oh, what? What is he laughing at? Treyen eyed the glove and couldn't help but laugh too, how silly, then again...Quidditch gloves are too different from this ones. He didn't fully comprehend this gloves.
"Oh, I see" that was something the Professor should be able to say, no? About catching the ball and throwing it again. All that.
"Now it's okay?" he asked, eying the glove and his arm, it seemed alright, like JD had said, "I take it you've played baseball before?" or the boy has some muggle family, which will mean that he knows it somehow.
But he understood now, he didn't catch Quaffles with the same hand he used to throw if back to Chasers. The strength was not the same.

Smiling as the boy started laughing as well. Ok, well me and my big mouth didn't get into trouble at least. he thought, he tended to laugh without thinking at times. Not always a good thing!
Nodding, he smiles again, "Ready?" he asks backing up. Pulling his arm back, he throws it to him. "Yep, I love it. Me papa, dat, and me cousins like te play a lot."
"Ok then, Catcher I'll be." Salander smiled, playfully tossing his mitt up in the air and catching it back. "Stay right there Mia." he called out as he led Alice to bat a few distance away, then squatted just behind the bats swinging range. Giving his mitt a few good pounds with his fist, he bellowed "Alright ladies, lets play ball!"

Alice smiled as she took her place on the imaginary batter's mound. This was just like playing with her dad at home! Alice tapped her bat on the ground a couple of times and took a few loose swings. Despite being right-handed, she batted lefty.
"Whenever you are ready Mia," Alice said with a smile.
Oh okay. She didn't have to go anywhere. Mia decided that she would try and look like someone who knew what they were doing and began to toss the ball up and down while she waited for Sal and Alice to get themselves ready.
Unfortunately the only thing she had managed to do was make herself look like an absolute idiot. She tossed the ball a little higher then she had meant to and when it came back down of course she misjudged it and it bonked her straight on the head.
She was just retrieving the ball when Sal called out for them to 'play ball.' Rubbing her head with one hand, Mia picked up the ball with the other and took her position just as Alice said that she was ready.
Okay Mia, try not to take anyone's head off.
Taking a deep breath, Mia rolled the ball in her hand and then threw it to Alice. It was the worst throw ever. A real lollypop if she ever did see one.
Eh Alice was probably going to smash this one out of the park.
"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."

Alice wasn't sure if she should ask Mia if she was okay or not, since that bonk to the head seemed like it would be painful, but she figured drawing attention to her misjudgment would only makes things worse.
Seeing that Mia was ready to throw it Alice brought her bat up a little higher. She was a tennis player in the muggle world, so she didn't bring it up too high, choosing to keep it directly at her shoulder.
Alice watched the ball start to come towards her, a nice steady pace, and just at the right moment...
CRACK!!
Alice followed through on the ball and it went sailing over Mia's head and back towards the outfield fence. Alice smiled thoughtfully as she lowered her bat.
"That was a nice pitch!" Alice said sincerely with a smile. "I can't aim to save my life when it comes to throwing." Alice was looking at how far out the ball had landed. "I'll go get that," Alice said, wishing they had a fourth person to work the outfield.

Fee saw the ball flying towards her. This was high. High. Too High. Ahhhh.
As is got closer and closer, Fee tried to concentrate.
And.. And.. CAAAAATCH!
"Yaaaay", Fee smiled.
This wasnt to hard.
"Thats kinda fun", she giggled at Sophia,"comiiiiing."
And the baöö flew up in the air...

Well, Arya was still...getting a glove? Or...eh, where was she?
Never mind. He was ready, apparently. The glove was on the hand it needed to be and in the right way, sooooo, yes, he was good to go. And JD was throwing the ball now.
Haha. This was warm up, right? The ball was caught not-so-neatly in the glove, eh, he preferred Quaffles for sure.
Treyen shook his head, "No, we play Quidditch...or used to...but no baseball" like, they used to play when he was younger, before his sister time in Hogwarts was completed and then off to life after school. Or Pro-Quidditch, whatever term you choose.
And taking the ball with the other hand, he tried to throw it back, perhaps a bit stronger than expected, you know, he was used to throw Quaffles back, not little balls.

Watching as Treyen barely caught the ball, he nods encouragingly anyway. "Great job! Well, it was good anyway, ye caught it. Next time, try stepping into the ball."
"Used te?" he asks, curious as to why they didn't now... If it were him, he'd be playing all the time. Watching as he grabbed the ball and went to throw it, he readies his glove.
O________________O
Turning to watch the ball soar way past him. "Well...erm, great throw!" Laughing, he shakes his head and goes trotting off after it.

Haha. True. He'd caught it. But Treyen nodded at the advice. Awesome. He was...learning to catch? That was only a minor thing in baseball, if they were going to play (in class), then there was still so much he needed to learn.
At least he was familiar with the theory.
And someone in his group plays baseball.
Haha. They'll win.
Huh? "Yeah, used to, before I came to Hogwarts, my dad played for the Arrows some time ago..." now he's only a representative for the team, but Treyen prefers that than the position in the Ministry, at least his dad seems happy, "...so, there was Quidditch in our life since day one. We don't play much now, because my sister left for Wimbourne, she plays with the Wasps" and there are no more brothers or sisters, 'tis only him, and the family, yes, but summers are busy times for reps, and his cousins are not in England...Quidditch is limited.
Eek! The ball was way off JD, "Sorry! I'm more used to Quaffles" and the distances are great ones indeed when one's the Keeper.
Glove was ready, whenever JD decided to throw it back.

Listening as he explained, "That would be exciting te know people who play professionally." He would give to know anyone who played professionally. Since starting at Hogwarts, he'd learned so much about playing quidditch, and he absolutely loved it!
Starting to trot back toward Treyen, he tosses the ball toward him again. "It's alright, it takes practice that's all." Grinning at him, he holds his glove in position to catch the next one, spreading his knees apart a little, in a stance.
"I meself, usually player Keeper or Seeker." he comments, "Are ye keeper?"

Treyen grinned. Very much. Very, very much. "It is! I guess...I'm used to it, but since I love Quidditch, then I think it's the best" except when people get hurt, you know, that's not too nice. And his sister had been in St. Mungo's once already, nothing big, just a nasty Bludger.
He couldn't help to nod, because JD was right, no wonder he was a Ravenclaw. "Practice makes better" huh, that was something that either Miranda or Kaika used to say. Quidditch people. Right.
There he went...going, going, going...he stretched his arm and...CAUGHT THE BALL! Haha. Playing the real thing should be fun, right?
Treyen frowned a little, he was no Chaser, but he smiled next, "I am! Or...was...last year, that was my position, though I played Seeker when Championships came" thanks to Jake. There was some odd movement with the wrist and he shot the ball at JD again.

Erm, Professor Zookara...when do we play?
"I meself like playing catcher in baseball. I'm not much fer throwing or batting." Laughing he shakes his head "Maybe thet's why I play seeker and keeper." Sweet! he thought as Treyen reached out and managed to catch the ball "Great job!"
"I know quidditch isn't the safest sport...meself receiving a few injuries." Not to mention a major one, from none other then his own girlfriend now, last term. "But I can't help lovin' playin' it."
Diving to catch the curve ball he hadn't been expecting, Quick learner! he thought, not realizing Treyen hadn't meant to throw it that way. "Nice curve ball, ye learn quickly!" Throwing the next one in a popup toss. He thought maybe giving a little bit of a different throw might be fun for him to try catching as well.
Glancing at the professor, he wonders when the game would start.
CRACK!!

The almighty CRACK that issued from Alice's bat had Mia ducking for cover. She just managed to see the ball fly high in the air and soar all the way into the outfield.
Mia stood back up and gave Alice a smile. The girl was being far too nice. That pitch had sucked majorly. She had told them that she was not very good at this and that throw had just proved it. Not to take away from Alice's batting ability at all.
"Nice hit." She told the girl while throwing Sal an apologetic smile. "No, no. I'll get it."
It was the least she could do. With a small sigh, Mia turned on her heel and jogged over to the outfield to retrieve the ball. Managing to trip over her feet about half a dozen times on the way.
Emmaleigh gave the girl a smile. She seemed really nice, and didn't seem to mind that they were younger than her. But she did look at Michael funny, But not in a bad way. "It's nice to m-meet you Melanie, I'm E-emmaleigh Swynford." "Ok , but I need a g-glove too," So Emmaleigh followed her to the box, and as soon as Melanie was done digging around in it, Em stepped up to find a glove. Of corse she needed a smaller one, but it didn't matter to her if she used a left or right handed glove. The first one she came across was right handed, so she went with that one. "So, I g-guess were just playing c-catch. Maybe we should head over h-here out of the way." And she headed away from the crowd.
"Nice to meet you too, Emmaleigh." Melanie smiled back at her, tossing the baseball absentmindedly up and down in her hand. She stood to the side when the younger girl got her glove from the trunk, nodding slightly to show she'd heard her when she told her she needed a glove too.
She followed her away from the trunk. "Yeah, sure." she agreed, walking about 15 feet further out than her fellow 'Puff. Melanie figured that would be a good distance to start at... and if it wasn't, they could always change position later. "Ready?" she asked cautiously, getting poised to throw the ball.

Emmaleigh nodded, "Yeah, I'm ready." she said, as she prepared to catch the ball. "or at least as ready as i'll ever be", she thought. She was so nervous about making a fool of herself infront of her older housemate, and every one else in the class. But atleast it was just catch for now, less dangerous that way.
"I meself like playing catcher in baseball. I'm not much fer throwing or batting." Laughing he shakes his head "Maybe thet's why I play seeker and keeper." Sweet! he thought as Treyen reached out and managed to catch the ball "Great job!"

Another smile, "I do that too..." mainly because he was awful as Chaser, "...mostly the Keeper part" and sometimes Beater. The Seeker was a mere surprise last year.
But he handled himself well last time.
Grin. 'Great job'. He was learning. Wicked!
"It's the flying part" not the game itself, because if you were to take the brooms away, then it was not Quidditch, therefore, the flying was the it part.
The boy looked confused, "Nice what?" curve ball? What was that? Oh, the ball took another direction. Treyen turned his hand around so he'll caught the ball just inches before it hit the ground. That was close.
The boy, of course threw the ball again, plenty of strength into it, but good direction, JD wouldn't miss catching the ball.
Jeremy chose not to answer but snort slightly when Cameron suddenly started shouting at him. He WAS helping, wasn't he? Did she honestly think he would just stand there and let Trixie do her thing? Yeah, right. "Thanks." He muttered slightly sarcastically as the Slytherin gave him the bat back. There was nothing to be genuinely grateful about. SHE should have been grateful that she didn't get detention.
"Oliver, would you do me a favor and accompany Trixie to the Hospital Wing?" It was rather an order than a request, even if Jeremy was smiling at the boy. "And I want to see you two-" He pointed at both Trixie and Cameron with an irritated frown. "-in my office as soon as you're out of the Hospital Wing. That clear?!" Because this was not normal. What was wrong with all these teenage girls lately? They should really come up with an antidote for hormones...
Now that that was (hopefully) dealt with, Jeremy straightened up to glance around the field briefly, watching the students practicing. Then after a few moments of silence he finally raised his voice and said, "Attention, everyone. I'm sorry, due to a few interruptions-" Like walnut cracking and balls to the head. "-our time is now. If you want to stay after class to play an inning or two, please stand over there.*" He gestured towards his left somewhere near the stands. "For those of you who do not want to stay, I would like to ask you to please return all gloves, bats, helmets, whatever you took and put it back into the box." Cue nod towards the paper box to his right, where Kurumi had left it.
"Homework assignments will be posted on my door soon. (OOC: In the announcements thread.) Then with a small grin at all the lovely students he finished by saying, "Thanks for coming. Class dismissed." Finally. But it HAD been fun. As an afterthougt, Jeremy walked up to Patroclus and added with a grin, "I'd appreciate it if you could be the Umpire for our little baseball match afterwards." Not that he really NEEDED him but he just seemed to be so excited about the whole thing. "And I might need you help too, Savannah." Cue innocent grin.
Now, all he had to do was hope that Oliver would accompany Trixie to the Hospital Wing and that Treyen had forgotten about their little appointment. Though, why would he?
*OOC: I'll be opening a thread for this soon. However, this will only be for fun purposes, you won't get any extra points for playing baseball there. Hope to see you there. ^___^
"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."

Alice shifted her gaze to Professor Zookara, who seemed to be annoyed with a couple of the students, although over what Alice wasn't quite sure. It looked like class was ending.
"Well, it looks like my shoes held up," Alice said with a smile at her duct tape job. "I had fun playing with both of you," Alice said once Mia had returned from retrieving the ball.

"Heads up!" Melanie shouted, oblivious to Emmaleigh's nervousness. She pounded her fist in her glove, getting ready for the toss back.
