WHUT?! Groups of two and three? Lori frowned and stood still. "Professor, can I not just sit out, and wait for Cammy to finish that demonstration thing? She's like... attached to me. So I can't be in a group without her." Attached? Metaphorically speaking, of course. They weren't REALLY attached. Mentally, yes. If it involved spider killing, or bagpipe stealing, then they were attached. Hehe. "Savs?..." She didn't even try, because she wasn't having Sav go all KAPOW! on her head. Hehe. "... Hair looks nice!" Phew. Nice cover, Lorelai. If you do say so yourself. Heh. |

Now...to make sure she didn't hit Cam during the demonstration...time to do some visualization.... |

"Hey Lorelai, if you need someone in your group, I'll come help you out!" |

"Wouldn't it just be easier to take the glitter!weapons off and play?" It might even be sort of fun. But Lori didn't seem to give the idea a thought when she pronounced to Zooky that she wanted to sit out. *snicker* "Lolly finds it hard to function, y'know, without me." *GIGGLE* She winked at her bestie and turned when Kurumi spoke. Quote:
She took the things as the bat and helmet were stuffed into her hands. "So organised! Me likeeey!" Her little helper, friend. HEH. "So it goes like that?" She asked, shoving it on her head. Man.. she must've looked like a REAL dork. |
Patroclus could not have been more excited! Jumping up and down, around the magic pitch like a crazy person, the boy's glee was more then obvious. Taking in a HUGE breath he prepared for the biggest You're out of the history of the world "- " but nothing happened. With a massively cheeky grin the boy whispered, "I have to save my voice." Doing the running-man dance on the pitch the boy got into position....but wait! "Sir I need a uniform?!?!?" He called to Zookara, "Zooky-Dooks? You have already used magic....please!" the boy pleaded. This boy had poured crazy on his cereal this morning, not milk. |
Sarah was bouncing on her trainered feet, watching as Cam and Kurumi - did he say? - got themselves ready for the demonstration. She was eager to start doing something, but had been too slow in putting her hand up to help. Ohh well. They had to get into groups, so at least she could do something then. Seeing that Lori was going with Cam after, and had been asked by another person too, Sarah pouted. "Right, so no best friend group then..." Spinning on the spot, she saw loads of people milling around, none of which she really knew. Only one thing for it then.... "Who wants to be in a group with me?" She said, voice raised slightly for everyone to hear. |

Trixie eyed the bat quickly before crossing her arms. She missed the beaters bat. Like really but it was probably for the best. If someone wanted to avoid getting a black eye or you know, remain uninjured, then Trix should be kept far FAR away from the bat. Oh and not forgetting Oliver was in the room too. *Smiiiiiiiiiirk* The blonde heard a familiar name call out however and so she tuned in quickly to disocver who it was. "SARAH! I'll go with you" the sixth year called out looking out for the Head Girl. Her eyes were drawn to the Hufflepuff and so the sixteen year old rushed over with a grin. It was best for her to go with someone she knew, she'd much prefer it that way. |

Now why would one of his very best friends be snickering at him like so? Hmm.... Quote:

Heheheh. Why wouldn't they want to be in his group? WINK. |

But. There were was another girl doing the same as her! Yayayayayayay! Though this other girl wasn't quite so loud as Rose had been. She bounded over over happily nevertheless, a huge smile on her face'I'lll be your partner!' she said breathlessly, still a bit short on oxygen from shouting so loud. Eh, who needed air anyway? |

Luna looked around desperately for a partner or a group to join. She didn't want to be the only one without a partner. Even though the teacher said that she would take away points for exclusion, Luna still didn't feel as though that would resolve the problem. "Anyone want to be partners?" she asked timidly which was odd for her she was always so outgoing if not loud. But meeting new people was one of her weak points. |
*huggles her group* <3333 Quote:
Sarah beamed as she saw Trixie rush over towards her. "TRIXIEEEE, yay. I'd like that." Good, so they had two people. Flinging an arm around the Slytherin, she scanned the rest of the area to see if anyone wanted to make it three. Seeing as they could. "You know anything about Baseball?" She asked, turning her head and quirking an eyebrow at the blonde. It could be interesting if she didn't. Quote:
Giggling as he waved like a nutter, Sarah motioned for him to join them. He seemed very excited. "We'd love to have you. Well I would, and I'm sure Trixie wouldn't mind either." She looked at her friend and smiled. Surely she wouldn't. Hehe. "Have you two met before?" Introductions might be good before they start. Especially if they'd need to, you know, communicate with each other. |
Pffft. The professor was being totally unfair! ... Giving them no chances of sitting out like she had seen those muggles do before. Those were positions in baseball too right!? The ones that sit down and watch the game?! She wanted to be in THAT part! Still standing away from anyone, Evelyn crossed her arms and...stood there. Hmpht. The only group SHE was going to be in was with Marie and Destiny. On the other hand, where were her Slytherin friends? She didn't want to be stuck in some group with cookie girl or something. |
And everyone's favorite part came along...where partners and groups were formed. So actually not the favorite. Simon looked around realizing that neither of his best friends were in the class and he sighed. So much for that option,he mused to himself continuing to look around for other ideas as students started pairing up and his options dwidled. |
Rubiey stood, shuffling her feet and staring fixedly at the ground. NOBODY would want her on their team, she was pretty sure of that. She looked at Porfessor Zookara. "Umm, Sir? Could I just... watch? I have a bad.. umm.. toe. So I can't.. run. And my, er, thumb hurts, so I don't think I can, you know, hold the bat.." She trailed off. She was the worst liar EVER. It really was in everyone's best interests that she didn't play. Her and games with bats did NOT mix. At All. Unless somone was willing to get concussion, which she highly doubted. |

Kurumi put the glove she had found on her left hand and then picked up the white bag of chalk with her right and tossed it lightly to get some chalk on her hands. |

And THAT was because she was hyperr! Very, very, very hyper. People in the dorm had a lot of sweeties! And she had her own stash as well. Although they were special weird stuff her mum had given her, with NO SUGAR. Pout. Sugar was so awesome. |
Text Cut: Kurumiiiiii *huggles* Watching Kurumi as she tried to get the box, Jeremy waited for somebody to help her. Anybody. It was so obvious she was having trouble moving the box. But no, nobody obviously cared enough to help her. What was wrong with the people in this class?! Just as he was about to snap at the class - something he hardly ever did - Kurumi managed to move the box. Slowly, very slowly, but she made it over to them. "Thank you, Kurumi." Jeremy gave her a grin before turning to face his other volunteer...or not. Quote:
Sit out?! Jeremy blinked at Lori a few times in confusion. Why would she want to sit out? And she was attached to Cammy? Okay. Totally made sense. Not. "Well, you won't be doing anything in those groups until Cammy-" What a cute nickname. Snort. "-and Kurumi here are done with the demonstration. So, no need to sit out. You'll just be your own group for now." If that made sense. Probably not but he was the teacher here so no objecting. Quote:
"So, again, Rubiey, please find a group. Or I'll have to send you to the Healer if you're soo badly hurt." As if. He raised his eyebrows at her for a moment before addressing the whole class again. In the meantime, Kurumi had thankfully helped Cameron into the appropriate outfit. With a grateful grin towards the younger girl he turned to face Cameron. "You ready? Just try to hit the ball with the bat." Duh, obviously. "Kurumi? If you please." She would know what to do, right? She HAD claimed that she knew how to pitch. |
Quote:
"Of course m'lady," he replied. "You might want to tone it down just a little now though," he mused with a smile hoping not to burst her bubble of energy. Just knowing that it might get distracting to the professor and class if not just him. |
Hey-o! Quote:
"I'm still alone guys." The 11 year old said loud enough for everybody to hear, "Anyone?" Like she wasn't begging or anything mind you, she'd prefer to work on her own anyways which was impossible because the teacher was clear. And then she saw the girl with the not-well toe asking the professor to go out. Louisa walked over to her and tried to smile, "Hey there! Are you okay? We can team up and play 'carefully'" Yep, teaming up with people her age was the best. She would never let older students show off their advanced magic. Ever. |
SPOILER!!: professor! *glomp* Kurumi bowed slightly and put the bag of chalk down before picking up one of he baseballs in the box. She made her way to the pitchers mound and hid her free hand in her glove to get the proper grip on the baseball for her two-seam fastball. She waited for Cam to take her spot by homeplate and then Kurumi's eyes focussed entirely on a spot behind Cam right around the girl's waist line - perfect spot to throw a strike. She put her pivot foot on the pitcher's mound and began her wind up motion, raising her left leg to get strong forward movement, and then... WOOOOOOOOOOSH! ...she threw one of her best fastballs ever - must be the nerves. |
