The Potions Laboratory
 Sixteen tables are set up with two stands and burners that adjust to fit your cauldron no matter what size it may be. This is where students can practice brewing any potions they may wish to brew. Along the walls are shelves with every piece of equipment a potioneer would want, flasks, funnels, phials, stirring rods, etc... A closet nearby was filled with many items that students may find useful, extra cauldrons, extra textbooks, extra dragon hide gloves, protective goggles and protective coverobes.
On the board at the front of the room is written in white chalk:
Rules: - Clean up your own mess. I am your professor, not your mother.
- Be safe. I don't want to have to explain why there is a stirrer lodged in your eye when we have plenty of protective goggles to go around. If you do not know what you are doing, stop and check your work. Please refrain from causing any explosions or fires. As I already said, I am not your mother, I will not clean up after you.
- Be sure you succeed in your potion making. If you waste my ingredients I will charge your parents for them.
- Do not bother me. I am a busy professor, I will come to you if I think you are experiencing problems.

With the silencing even more deafening in the room now, Evelyn shifted uncomfortable on her seat, wondering if she should just laugh and say she was joking, and then high-tail it out of there.
Her name being said finally on the other hand was enough to make her breathe out a long quiet sigh of relief. At least there was talking going on.
Softly tapping her fingers on the table, she nodded slowly, taking in the information. Blinking a few times, Evelyn stopped the tapping and once more took a deep breath. More expensive was what she feared actually. Then again, a realization formed in her mind that perhaps what she was looking for wasn’t a potion at all. It was necessary to find out though. "But, what if someone was being 'controlled'…it wasn't because of a potion, but more of a spell? Not like the imperius curse though. Something different. There would be...potions for such a thing?"

Well that just made her stomach feel as if it dropped...
Frowning, her shoulders slumped just a bit as her gaze moved to the table top. It wasn't exactly the answer she was hoping for but...well no. It just wasn't what she was hoping for. Taking a deep breath once again, the Slytherin stood up and placed the strap of her bag on her shoulder, which contained most of her potion kit tools, before smiling.
"Thank you professor. For teaching me the procedure of the potion and for the...information." Not really in the best of moods anymore.
