Lara spent a lot of time pesuading here mother that she can go to the train alone but she couldn't .Byt when she was on the platform her mother was talking to a friend of her so she took the chance and walked because she wanted to explore the platform on her own ,
And as she was walking she glanced a fimiliar face she stepped closer and said happily"Roe!!"

Roe's parents smiled at her. "Don't worry too much about it, dear," her mother said in a soothing voice. "It'll all fall together with time and patience, I'm sure."

"Oh but-," Roe started.

"Buts aren't going to do you any good in this place so you might as well just go with the flow. Too much thinking could get you into trouble you know," her father laughed. "In fact," he added as an after thought, "that kind of thinking could just make you a Ravenclaw."

Just as Roe was about to respond, a voice interrupted her train of thought. She turned just in time to see the friend she had met in Diagon Alley. "Lara!" she exclaimed.

"See," her mother responded. "Things will fall into place if you give it time...not too much apparently in this situation."

"Okay, I see, I see," Roe giggled. She hated to admit it but her parents were right. "Well, I guess this is it then. I might as well go up to the platform." She hesitated for a moment, as a feeling of sadness washed over her over having to say goodbye to them. "I'll write as soon as I get there," she said and then kissed and hugged her parents goodbye. Then she ran off to meet Lara.

Hi nice to see you to. Finally he found someone he knew, oh there just over there, James turned around and pointed at them. He waved at them and pointed to Eliza to show them he found her.

Hermione finally reached platform 9 3/4 finally quite relieved after rushing around all morning gathering last minute things for Hogwarts. She looked around pushing her trunk towards the train. What she needed now was a place to sit.

Norah followed her mother and father on to the platform. She was pushing a cart with her school trunk...which still had a very faint trace of the Beauxbatons school seal on the very top, right in the middle. The girl stopped when she spotted the train and looked up at her father.

"You'll be just fine." Hamilton said quietly, giving his daughter a pat on the shoulder. "If there's any trouble, just use one of the school owls to send your post alright?"

Norah nodded and bit her lip, gazing around at the other students nearby. There were an awful lot of young students.

"Do you need help with your trunk?" Janet, Norah's mother, asked. She was holding her youngest daughter's hand, a girl who looked no older than six.

"I'll be okay. Dad helped." Norah said quietly, though she had to speak up a little bit because of all the noise...both from the train, and the conversations around them.

"Will you send me a letter?" Yvette, the little blonde girl asked cheerfully and looked up at her older sister with wide blue eyes.

Norah nodded and smiled a little bit, "Sure. I'll send you one three times a week if I can manage it."

~Melvyn, Norah's cat (an American Shorthair), gazed around and swished his tail back and forth, keeping close to his girl. He let out a rather loud *Meow!* when he spotted a couple of caged owls being brought to the train by their owners.*

"You stay with me." Norah said and picked her cat up, placing him on top of her trunk.
Melvyn remained on the luggage rather obediantly, and blinked a few times at the unfamiliar surroundings.

She looked to her mother and father again, then threw a tight hug on the both of them, tears starting to form in the corners of her eyes.

"We're very proud of you." Hamilton said and let his daughter go, "We'll never be too far away. Believe me, you're going to really enjoy things once you get settled in." He smiled at his second youngest child and then looked to Janet, who looked like she was about to cry as well.

"Yes, and you'll do well, Norah." She dabbed her eyes with her right sleeve and added, trying to be more cheerful, "Think of it as an adventure." Though, maybe that was the wrong word to use to descride things. Norah was never one to be too adventurous.

Yvette smiled and reached up, hugging her sister around the neck once Norah bend down a little. "Send me something cool too, okay?" It was obvious that Yvette thought that her sister going to a different school was the best thing ever. Wanting a souvenier of sorts from Hogwarts wasn't unexpected from the girl.

"I'll see what I can do. Love you." Norah said and let her sister go, wiping the still-forming tears away from her eyes. She gave one last smile to her parents and baby sister before rolling the trunk over to a door of the train, and lifting it inside. It was a good thing her father had charmed it to feel lighter than it actually was.
Norah couldn't help but peek out the doorway again to see her family...somewhat glad that her older sisters couldn't make it. She looked at Melvyn, who sat on the trunk still, and was purring loudly. At least he was able to adapt easily to new surroundings.
She stopped looking out of the train and headed off, searching for a compartment to settle down in until arriving at the school. Hopefully it would be quiet.

Leilani stepped onto the platform, aware of the fact that she was among the very few people that weren't first years. Next to her stood her distant cousin Carley. Even though they were related, they looked nothing alike. That probobly had something to do with tge fact that Carley was on her mom's side.

Carley looked down and smiled at her younger cousin. She never had understood why Lani was so short. Seriously, she was fifteen and she was only about five feet tall. Genetics. "You all set kid?" Carley asked, giving her a quick hug.

Leilani nodded, taking a deep breath. "Yup, I'm all set Carls." Hehe, she hated it when she called her that. She hugged her cousin back, taking in the sweet aroma of cotton candy. She smiled. Her cousin acted like she was about eight.

Carley nodded, letting her go. Of course she was all set. She handed Leilani a pack of gum as a present. Everybody knew how much she loved gum. "Alright. You're dad told me to make sure you behave yourself." Psh. Wasn't likely. Lani could do whatever she wanted so long as she didn't kill anyone. "And set off a dungbomb on the charms teacher for me." Carley whispered. Hey, what Uncle David didn't know wouldn't hurt him.

Louisa has just left her mom and came alone with her cat in the basket & her backpack on her shoulders.
What a tiring day she had. Saying good bye to her family for the first time in her life and knowing that this is the world that connects her to her real father.

She glanced once behind her and then walked forwards to a girl almost her age. "Excuse me. Do you mind holding this basket for a bit? " She asked with an uncertain smile.

Eliza waved at her aunt and uncle, she then turned to James "Are you excited?" she asked "I know I am, but I am also nervous."

"Uh..mommy, it's embarrassing." Rochelle objected on the heaps of kisses her mother kept dropping on her cheeks while his father continuously patted her head, and her brother kept tugging at her hair just so he could annoy her.

"Be nice, sweetheart." Chelle's mother advised as she planted yet another kiss on her daughter's cheek, wiping the tears rolling down her cheek. Her precious doll had never gone this far away from home, oh how would she survive?

"Stay away from boys, dear." Mr. Sihler added with a firm nod. He was happy for Chelle though the thought of boys hurting his daughter or vice-versa frightened him.

Chelle stomped her feet, punching her father's arm, "Dad, you know I'm not...." Don't make a promise that you can't keep! "..I'm not..yeah, your hair looks great, dad." She said, smiling at him sheepishly. Parents.

Waving back at her family, she watched them leave and strode toward the train, peeping inside through the glass windows. She was alone now with a heavy trunk and a stupid cat, help? Chelle had no idea what to do next so she unloaded her trunk from the trolley and sat right on top of it.

"James I toold you i'd be way to early." she moaned. Why did he have to bring her this early ? But it was too late, he'd gone back to his that box with wheels that he called a car. Without even saying goodbye. *eye roll*

Callie was bored. It was like too early to go get on the train. Stupid James had wanted her out of the house because he was 'shocked' Psht. She rolled her eyes at him although he wasn't here because he was probably back at home now watching that muggle tv thingy. He was such a hypocrite. He moaned about her watching too much tv and then watched it constantly himself. Hmph.

She couldn't win. Dragging her trunk along she saw a girl sitting alone on her trunk dragging her trunk over to the girl she smiled. "Mind if I sit with you ?" She was gonna whether to girl said yes or no.

Chelle sat silently, glancing around as students started to pour in and it got busier and busier by the minute. Maybe her prince charming will come to her aid? No? Well ok.

While playing with Fifi's paws, she heard footsteps behind her and then a girl appeared before her eyes. "Your voice is really cute." She complimented her and then realized that she had asked to join her. "Oooh, sure, why not." She scooted a little to make room for her on the trunk, patting the area next to her. "Come sit. I'm soooo bored."

Where were all the cute boys ? Seriously. She hadn't seen any yet and she was pretty sure her eyes weren't failing her. She hadn't seen Jack around either, he was the only boy she'd met in DA well sept that boy with the turtle oh and how could she forgot the boy that had got stuck in a robe.

She smiled as the girl said her voice was cute. Of course it was, cus she was American and her accent was cool. And plus she was California Parker everything about her was cute. "Thanks." she smiled sitting next to the girl. "Callie. Callie Parker." How many times had she said that already ? She sounded like a record. Sigh.

Rubiey smiled in gratitude. It was great having an older friend to show her around. It was just what she needed.

Rubiey saw Trix look over her head, and her eyes widen. She grabbed another girl and practically dragged her over.

"Hi, nice to meet you." Rubiey smiled shyly at the older girl.

Yeah me to.

Chelle narrowed her eyes, the girl sounded... "Are you American, Callie?" She asked, her thick British accent quite evident as she fiddled with her antique, charm bracelet which produced a very sweet, jingling sound.

Oh, how rude of her to not introduce herself first, "I'm called Rochelle but I prefer Chelle. Have you been to Hogwarts before?" This was like a miracle - Rochelle Sihler was calm for the first time since last night. Amazing.

Callie nodded at the girls question. "That I am. I was born in California. But Ive moved around quite a bit." she nodded, looking down as she heard a jingling sound. She noticed the girl was wearing a pretty charm braclet. "Your braclets really pretty." she smiled.

Rochelle. That was a pretty name too. This girl was overall pretty. Callie needed to be friends with her yesh. "Nice to mee you." she replied smiling at the girl. "Nope. First time," and she'd been told some mean stuff about it by Oliverrrr. But apparently they were lies. "How about you ?"

Oh...emm..gee, here she goes...!

"California!?@??" She questioned in a rather loud tone, batting her eyelashes, her sparkly green eyes wide open. "You're soooo lucky, believe me, really lucky. I cannot stress enough how lucky you're, Callie."

Uh..wait. In coming brain wave.

Callie from California? "Mind if a call you Cali? It complements California." Aww, Chelle's so smart. She came up with a nickname for Callie. Ok, back to her main reason of excitement. "I've been told that Californian boys are very cute. Is this true?" She smiled happily at her, exhaling a dreamy sigh.

"Yes California." Callie answered rather confused why she was speaking so loud, and batting her eyelashes. Oh, now it all made sense. "Tehee. Thank you?" she said not really sure what else to say.

Cali ? and Callie ? Didn't they sound exact same ? Meh. "Sure. Go for it." she said with a small nod, may aswell let the girl be happy. "Look. I like you, your pretty and you seem nice." she smiled. That was like the first compliment she'd given out all week."So imm'a trust you and tell you something ive not told anyone yet. My real names California." And boy she was gonna like scream if the girl picked on her and said it was cheesy like some of her old friends from America did. "I was really little when I lived there I was only there for like 3 years so I dont really know. But all American boys are pretty cute."

Amy skipped down through the barrier her sister looked around, slightly amazed, she would so rather go here than Malory Towers she thought happily, looking back at the big red train that her sister was bouncing near. Amy ran at her mother kissed her and hugged her sister, swinging her around and around then she stopped, and walked back to her mum and the au pair, so see you mum? she asked, hoping there would be no huge farewell, her mother nodded, be good this year, and we'll see you soon she said, handing Amy a carefully wrapped parcel, open it on the train, her mother said with a wink, I'll send your birthday present by owl ok she told her, any last goodbye's Marie? she asked turning to the surly au pair, see ya the au pair said grumpily before turning back to her phone, Amy laughed and kissed her mother and sister once more before jumping on the train and walking away to find a compartment, her mother stared after her, a tear running down her face as she watched her daughter laugh and smile, she turned to her youngest daughter and the au pair, come on she said quietly taking Hope's hand, lets go home, and she walked away, letting her oldest baby girl get on with the new term of fun

"See you later Mom, Dad. I'll send letters." Nathan said, waving at his parents. He then took the trolley which had his trunk on it and started pushing. He then looked at his brother who was standing beside him. He glared at him. "Don't you have some witch to be chatting up with right now?" he asked him.

Desmond grinned at his little brother and patted him on the head. "Come on little brother, no need to be angry because you'll miss me." he teased him. "And yes I do actually. So I'll see you later." he said, before he turned around and walked out of the platform.

Nathan turned around and started waking towards the train, mumbling about insane older brothers. He looked around and couldn't see any of his friends, but he saw two girls who looked about his age sitting. He once again looked around the platform, and walked up to them with his trunk. "Hi. Do you mind if I sit here?" he asked them.

Great Jupiter! She just messed up big time. "Ummm..." She pursed her lips, tucking a strand of blond hair behind her ear, Chelle added in a matter-of-fact tenor, "I do know Callie and Cali sound the same...I was..erm...concentrating on the spelling." She told her just to satisfy herself that she isn't stupid.

When she started to praise her, Chelle's cheeks turned a bright shade of pink and her hand intuitively moved up to touch them. "Why, thank you. You're really...." But she was cutoff by her before she could utter the word kind.

My oh my, a total stranger was confiding in her? *wibble* She bit her lower lip, slightly teary eyed that Cali chose her to tell this secret. "Oh..umm..Cali, your name's beautiful. Why don't you use it?" Major nosiness.

Alice wasn't a hundred percent sure about this whole platform 9 and 3/4 thing. Her mom was standing beside her and smiling encouragingly, but she still felt hesitant. She was pushing all of her luggage in front of her and was aimed at the wall she needed to go through. She had seen some others do it before her, and her mom was nodding with the most confidence she could muster. Alice took a deep breath, aimed her cart so it was right at level with the wall, did one last look to make sure that no one would interfere with here, and started to run.

"Please don't let me crash," Alice mumbled to herself as the wall got closer. She breathed easier as she slid through the wall, leaving the muggle world behind her.

Eliza tried not to cry as she looked round at all the other students with their families. Did her family come? No. They couldn't be bothered. Instead, she'd walked here with her nanny, Elise. Standing up on her tiptoes, she gave the woman a hug and a kiss on her cheek. 'Bye, Elise' she said quietly, picking up the handle of her trunk - a monogrammed Louis Vuitton. She was reluctant to go, but at the same time, she couldn't wait. It was a strange feeling.

Elise shook her head as her small charge gave her a hug, and kissed her back. She found it unacceptable that Eliza's parents couldn't come - they weren't busy, they just simply could not be bothered. 'Bye now, Eliza sweetheart' she said, giving the girl a smile 'Have a wonderful time! And don't forget to write!'

Callie was too busy focusing on her own prettiness to notice Callie and Cali sounded the same. "Oh yeah dont worry about it. I didn't even notice." she giggled. She was obviously worrying about Callie or Cali thinking she was stupid but Callie/Cali wasn't that shallow.

It was a simply mistake.

She smiled as Chelle's cheek went a shade of pink. She felt nice for complimenting someone. She didn't really do it often. Callie listed lots of things the girl could've said about her in her head as she cut her off.

She smiled as the girl said her name was beautiful. Some people apparently didn't agree. "Meh its a long story." Well no it wasn't Callie/Cali just didn't really wanna and couldnt be bothered to tell her.

Lara was watching Roe as she was kissing and hugging her parents her friend seemed to be so sad to leave her parents , she remembered her self when she was running from her mother . Lara was happy she'll get to be away from home for a while.
As Roe finished they shaked hands with each other and started to walk towards the train Lara said "How're you Roe are you ready to be a student in Hogwarts finally!"and as she was talking she heared someone calling her she turned around and saw her mother coming toward her and said " where have you been? you just dissapeared ?" Lara didn't know what to say she looked around her and didn't find some ome else so she said" erm... Mum this my frien Roe I've told you about her .." the mother looked at Lara she wanted to say a lot of things but she just said " oh ... hello Roe you're a first year too .How are you doing my dear girl.."
