Pamphylia quickly ran in front of her mother, and turned.
"Well mom this is where we leave off." She said, with quite a bounce in her words.

"Alright," Her mother replied, tears flowing down her face. "Don't forget to send that owl of yours to us every now and again!! And you're sure you've got everything?"

"Yes mom." She was one-hundered percent positive that she had everything she needed. She checked over everything four times, and re-packed about three so she wouldn't forget everything. The train whistled, and Pam hugged her mom one more time.

"Bye mom." Pamphylia grabbed her things, and headed onto the train.

"Bye sweetie!!" She yelled over the other mothers saying goodbye.

Trix put the trunk down finally, once they were both safely on the Scarlet Giant. Jeez it was heavy, not quite as heavy as Trixie's, well she did have two giant cases that were kinda always dragged about, hence why she had to buy new ones every year due to them getting scuffed all of the time.

"Well you've got to be packed for all occasion don't you?" she asked laughing slightly. For all you knew, the weather in Scotland could be snowy or sunny, it was pretty unpredictable. "Besides you can never have enough clothes" *Wink Wink* Well Trix could never have enough clothes anyway.

"I've been good thank you" she smiled after she asked her how she had been. "What about yourself? You must be really excited" she grinned. Well she was herself and she had been to Hogwarts before. Just the thrill of starting a new term was enough to excite the Slytherin.

''Yey great! We have to find someone else to join us in cab!''said Jacqueline. ''Oh you mean this? That's my lucky bracelet. My grandma made it for me. She is....umm...she died. And she made this for me to wear it everywhere i go,and it always reminds me on her.'' Her eyes filled with tears again and she quickly got back. ''I'm sorry. I just...she was..everyting to me. Oh well..do you have any lucky ''stuff'' ? Do you believe in that? I do,it really works, I was here standing alone and now I'm here with you! Isn't it great?''she smiled at boy and she putted her hand in her pocket.Well, I have some money,do you want to get in the train and later we can buy some candies??'' she asked and pulled her wallet out and opened it.

Rubiey laughed. "Yeah, thats true. Usually I under-pack, so I thought I would ensure I had everything I needed to survive a term." Then again, 10 pairs of shoes? Maybe that was a bit excessive...

"Yeah, I've been okay, thanks. I'm soo excited." Rubiey's eyes sparkled at the thought of finally going to Hogwarts. "I can't wait to see what it's really like." And to meet people, make friends, go to the lessons.... the list went on.

Daniel ran through the barrier and onto the platform. He was itching to get on the train and away from Barry. But he had his bags and anyway dad was supposed to come and drop him off. So Daniel stood by the train impaitiantly for Barry.

Dad couldn't take the day off and Carolyn had just started her job as a healer. So Barry was stuck with the job of dropping off his brother. Barry glanced at his watch, Dad was going to come and see Daniel for a couple of minutes in his break. Two Minutes.

Barry wheeled the luggage trolley towards Daniel who was being his impatient little self. He looked around for anyone he knew. He gave a little wave to Georgie's friend Savanah but he didn't know anyone else so he just stopped next to Daniel.

"Any second now" he murmured

Dan apparted a couple of feet away from his sons. He hoped he didn't miss much at work. But his sons were more important. He gave Barry a little smile and then looked to Daniel "Have a nice year" he said giving Daniel a quick hug.

Finally dad was here. He felt awkward when he hugged him. Dad and him didn't often show their love to one another. "I will dad" he said with a weak smile. "You'll write to me won't you?" he asked trying to hide the fact he wanted dad to write from his voice

"Yes. Twice a week" Dan said. It wasn't like he had anything else to do but work. "Behave yourself. Don't get in trouble" he said. He glanced at his watch. His break was almost over. "I love you" he said before turning on the spot

Daniel sighed. Dad never spent enough time with him. Atleast he had come that was an achievment. He looked over to Barry who was putting his things on the train. "Thanks" he said quitely. He got onto the train and looked at Barry. What was he supposed to say? "See you at Christmas" he said eventually and he went into the train.

Barry watched dad exchange a couple of sentences with Daniel and leave. He felt kind of angry at him. Couldn't he take more then a couple of minutes off work for his son? He was going to talk to him about it before he left home.

Barry put Daniels things on the train. He noticed he didn't have a pet. Maybe he should get him one. That would be nice. He said " Bye " when Daniel went off. There was nothing else to say. He stepped back and waited for the train to leave thinking about his relationship with Daniel

Trixie laughed a little as she told her about her under packing. "As long as you have enough clothes to last you the school year then I think that's enough" she smiled. "Oh and your robes you can't forget your robes of course." And Trix still had her old Quidditch Roes because she couldn't bear to part with them, even if they weren't the most flattering items. Heck the sixth year even had 3 different Slytherin scarfs on her. "And then you just have your luxury items." Mhmm, you have to have clothes that make you feel great, even if you don't get to use them that often. You never know when there is a ball like there had been last term.

"Well I'm glad your very excited" she giggled. "I was the same way, heck i'm even excited now." Getting to see all the Professors again, and your friends of course. Then meeting all the new people as well. It was just so much fun. And Trix was a 'swot' apparently anyway so school was always a thrill for her. Plus she was determined to beat her 174 house points this year. "Thats always the funnest part, and I am willing to show you around the school as soon as you arrive as well" After the feast because she HAD to listen to what the New Head Boy had to say.

BWAHA!

Rubiey smiled. Yup, she had everything she would need, in case of emergency. She had 3 dressy things, incase of a ball, Some shorts in case of sun, 2 rain macs in case of rain. Heck, she even had wellington boots incase it got muddy outside. She was definately prepared for anything this year.

"Yeah, that would be great." She smiled warmly at the blonde. She would need a tour of Hogwarts; Rubiey would get lost in her own house, let alone a seven-floor castle complete with dungeons, massive grounds and several common rooms. This could get interesting.

"So, what exactly happens at the feast? Are there, like, speeches and stuff?" Rubiey was intrigued, but also kinda worried. Wouldn't Trixie like to go and see her friends? She hoped she wouldn't leave right away; she knew no-one yet, but she would have to find some first year Gryffindors soon...

Trix was definitely packed for all occasions, every eventuality she had something for. "I warn you, last year we had to bring swimming costumes" she laughed. Ah History of Magic with Lainey. Those classes were just amazing. And her and Oli's boat was just immense. *Giggle* And it being Scotland, it was more then likely to snow in the Winter, maybe even when they visited Hogsmeade.

"I'm not sure where we would start but it will be fun" she grinned. And it made her feel good that she was helping out a first year getting them acquainted with the massive school. "I'm afraid your gonna have to get another Gryffie to show you around your Common Room though, I don't know the password." Heck she could even get Jayce to show her around. He would do anything for his girlfriend right?

What happened at the Start of Term feast? "Well our Headmaster, Professor Tate, will make a speech which we all listen to obviously" and hopefully Slytherin wouldn't loose 150 points like they did last time. Oh well they still won the House Cup didn't they? *smirk* "Then I think the Head Boy and Girl would probably make a speech" which quite frankly Trixie was looking forward to soooooo much. "Then we eat and socialize" she grinned. "You don't have to stay at your own table if you don't want to. We can socialize with other houses." Though Trix was more likely to stay with the Slytherins because she had a lot of friends in that house.

Rubiey giggled again. "I bought swimwear too." She had 3 different types; she wasn't sure whether she wanted to wear a bikini, so had bought options along too.

She listened as Trixie explained what would happen. "Hey, don't you know the Head Boy? Best friend, right?" She remembered their conversation in Diagon Alley. She must be looking forward to his speech then.

"We dont? Cool." Rubiey thought about mingling with the other houses; maybe she'd just stay at the Gryffindor table at first; she wanted to know more people from her own house before she went to the other houses...

Ah so she really was prepared for everything then wasn't she? "Then I think your certainly prepared for your first year at Hogwarts" the Blonde grinned. "Well judging by the weight of your Suitcase you definitely are." Almost as heavy as the 16 year olds own. Which was pink obviously. What other colour could it be? Wellies were a good option too. You know, just in case. Might expect more lessons in the lake now they had sailed their boats in the middle of it.

"Yeah that's right, my best friend" she grinned. Oh well at least Rubiey certainly remembered what Trixie had told her. And of course she was close to the Head Girl too and a lot of the prefects. Even if one of them might have just held the slightest grudge against her. That was an understatement. She probably hated her right now. She was stupid to admit that in front of her though.

"No they're not that mean" she laughed. "I may go and say hello to the Professors if you want to come with me" she smiled. Plus that meant she got to speak to Jeremy a little more. They're first meeting had been a little, strange, even though he still claimed he was very close friends with her father.

"Yeah, I don't think there's anything I didn't bring!" Rubiey laughed again, doing a quick check list in her head. Nope, nothing left behind..

"Yeah, I'd like to meet my Head of House. She's the Charms professor right?" She was eager to meet her, wanting to make a good impression. Teehee. What a geek...

"Well that's good then isn't it?" she laughed.

SQUEE

Right now Trix couldn't contain her excitement for the new term. It might sound swotty and a little strange but school was amazing. She got the grades she wanted and it was fun compared to other schools.

"Oh you mean Professor Carlton? Yes she is the Charms Professor" she grinned. It was Professor Lawson last year right? But the Lawsons left. Yet the Slytherins were still left with Lafay. "Yes I'll introduce her to you" she grinned. Then she'd speak to her old favourites of course. And then Jeremy *Whistle* "I did the exact same, went to Professor Truebridge, our HoH for last term and introduced myself. Was great because then he asked me to help out with the Kappa in the last DADA Lesson. I had to let the thing go myself and feed it cucumbers. Scary..." fun!

Rubiey listened in awe. Kappas? Awesomeeeeee. "Thank you, that would be great. I think I'd be too nervous to go up to her alone." Rubiey was a scaredy-cat. There was no way around that. But she hoped that she would have the courage to actually talk to people this year.

Vashti suddenly wasn't sure she wanted to go to Hogwarts this term. She was getting really worried about her dad, but every time she thought about it, she was reminded that if she went to Hogwarts she might be able to find something that would make him well, and then she could give it to him and all would be well. But at the same time, she didn't want to be completely separated from her mum and dad at this time, and so the cycle continued. But now she was on Platform 9 3/4, all packed and ready to go, and there was no tunring back now.

"Bye, mum," she said, throwing her arms around the woman. "I'll try to owl you every week. Send me a reply when you can." Her mother nodded and murmured her agreement, hugging her daughter tightly. Then, as they both pulled away, Vashti added, "Tell Dad I love him. I know I already did, but...y'know. And I love you, Mum. I'll miss you." They hugged again and finally, after a few more moments, Vashti grabbed her rather large trunk and lugged it to the train.

Now she just had to find a compartment. Ugh.

Trixie grinned and shrugged it off. "Its no problem. As I said I need to go talk to some professors anyway so I'll introduce you whilst I'm at it" she laughed. "They are lovely, well they are if you avoid Lafay" she grinned. Because Lafay is the only professor that Trixie didn't particularily like. Seeing as she spent her lessons hiding. But she was great anyway. At least she had learned a lot.

Trixie literally grabbed hold of Vashti and brought her over to introduce to Rubiey.

"Spatulaclaw this is Rubiey, Rubiey this is Spatulaclaw...or as she is known by everyone Vashti" she grinned.

"Are you still planning world domination?" the Slytherin asked her younger Ravenclaw friend.

Callie was like tired. James didn't really help. He was her older brother but no he wasn't gonna help her with her massively heavy trunk was he ? Psssht because that would be a stupid thing to do. She smiled to herself turning and waving to him before she ran through the random wall to platform 9 and 3/4 what was that all about ? How could have 3/4's of a platform. It just didn't make sense.

Carve lumbered along the platform, dragging his trunk behind him. With care, he took off his lime green sunglasses and put them in the pocket of his jacket (ya know, incase they got scratched :o) and was about to look up when something caught his attention- a girl, waving manicly to someone on the platform. He smiled to himself and followed her lead, running through the platform. But not just ANY jump. He ran, he skipped, he dove head first and.....face planted the cold concreat of the other side. JumpFail.

James didn't wave back ? He was like a suckish brother. He seemed a little off lately. And she hadn't heard him talk about any girls. She was kinda worried about him but yeah he needed to get a grip on focus on more important things, like her. She watched as a boy ran then started skipped. Strange boy. She stopped infront of him as he fell over suddenly bursting into hysterics. She just couldn't stop herself laughing. "Dont fall it gets you down." she said laughing some more.

Heyyyyy, someone was laughing!!No fair! He loked up to see the wavey girl nearly wetting herself with laughter. Nice, fanks. He picked himself up and hastily inspected his sunglasses - they were safe! Good job he took them off earlier, it was like he KNEW!
Despite this, he couldn't help but snort a little at her "fall/down" wordplay. "Bet it looked cool though, didn't it?" he said, raising one eyebrow.

Callie giggled, taking a step closer to the boy as he got up. He was pretty hot apart from the hole clumsyness thing. But yeah still pretty hot. She smirked at him, blinking as he looked at his sunglasses. Why was he inspecting them ? Shrug. She smiled as he snorted at her little joke. She agreed that it was funny. "Of course it did." she said a sarcastic tone in her voice.

Was that..was that sarcasm? "hey," he smirked, "stunt wizards get PAID to look THAT cool."He hitched his sunglasses up on his head and reguarded her, absently scratching his stubbly cheek. She was stepping closer to him..wierd, girl usually avoided him like the plague. He held out a hand, "I'm Carve," he said.

"Aw. Dont worry. Im sure your sunglasses make you look cooler." she winked. "Yeah. And your no stunt wizard." she smirked giggling at him. She watched as he put his sunglasses on his head, waiting for what she thought to be the right moment she pulled his sunglasses off his head and put them on. "They suit me, no ?" she giggled pushing them up onto her head. She didn't wanna hide her prettiness from the world, it just wasn't fair. Again with the hand shaking. Why did everyone shake hands ? It was so germy. Shaking his hand any way she smiled. "Callie. Callie Parker."

"ooh I'm so sorry..." he said. "Well... Uhh... I have a lucky wand..." he joked. "Let's go in the back of the train! Ooh I have some money too. Let's see if I can get a Hermione Granger chocolate frog card," he rambled. And he smiled again. God, this kid couldn't stop smiling. He went into the train.

Sunglasses = COOL. There was the proof! He could get to like this girl! But then she ruined it. He pouted a little. Just a little. Wait, woah, what?!?!? She was touching his sunglasses! "Nice try" he said, grabbing them off her head and replacing them on his own, "but no matter how hard you try you wont look as cool as me till you faceplant through the platform." Cheeky smile. Teehee.

Callie was a flirt. It was in her nature. But this boy, he was...different. Yeah lets go with that. He seemed to just taking it all naturally like they were having a conversation or something. Shrug. Maybe he was flirting in his own way. She fakly whimpered in defeat as he took the sunglasses back off her and put them back on his own head. She would never be as cool as him ? Pssht. He needed to get his facts right. She already was cooler than him. "FineFine." she said taking a few steps back and hop skip jumping then falling, but into him of course. She wasn't stupid, no way she was gonna fall on the filthy floor when she could fall into some boys arms.
