"Ive been going great" Katie said with a smile "Dont you think Hogwarts is amazing?" Katie said looking down at everyone again.

Kurumi leaned on the railing and watched the staircases move around. Amazing probably didn't even begin to cover how she felt about Hogwarts. "Agreed," she smiled looking over at Katie. Despite Katie's smile, she could tell there was something on Katie's mind - she had been deep in thought about something before Kurumi had approached her.

Even with her five years of being a student here, these stairs still gave Sylvie the hardest time. They were seriously out to get her, she was sure of it. All she had wanted was to possible talk to a colleagues about something and these stair were only leading her in circle now. It would have been better for her to have just owled them at this rate.

After the stairs lead her again in the wrong way, she stopped and looked around. Regaining her bearings, she heard it. That was a distinctive yell and her eyes went to the source of it. "MISS SKYE & MISS MACLANE! What is the meaning of this?" she yelled as she made her way down.

Were her eyes deceiving her at this moment? Students using the moving stairs as a slide, a watery/icey slide at that. A small group of students, in fact. She was rather disappointed as she recognized some of them. "Someone better explain to me what is going on here and I mean now!" she demanded as she stood before them.

Seriously, what were they thinking?

"G-good evening, Professor," Kurumi chirped. She had not expected to see a professor wandering about the castle She had to admit that all the sliding being done by the other students looked like a lot of fun.

Destiny was slowly inching her way towards Evelyn, because, like the foreigners said, this thing was probably a baaaad idea. The water, even though Rae had slid down already, could be too hot and she did NOT want to burn her bottom. Nope. That would mean she'd have to stand up in all her classes, and when people asked her why she was standing, she'd have to tell them the EMBARRASSING story of burning her bottom on the water slide steps.

No thank you.

Reaching Evelyn, she was just about to whisper in her friend's ear about skedaddling out of there before they all ended up in the hospital wing with third degree bottom burns when she heard a voice.

A very authoritative voice at that.

Slowly turning to face this voice, her eyes widened at the sight of a Professor! Sweet Merlin! Destiny wanted to ruuuuuun away! But, yeah, that wouldn't be a very good idea. Plus, the Professor was blocking the exit and the woman could surely stick her arm out and clothes-line her before she even had a chance to run. Taking a little step closer to Evelyn, Destiny cleared her throat before speaking. "Umm." she started, glancing at everyone before looking back at the SCARY Professor, "It's a water slide!"

Well..it was the truth.

"I wish we could stay here forever" Katie said she sighed.

Still with her hands on her hips, Evelyn was glancing from Rae to the French dude at the top of the stairs who still looked like he was hyperventilating or something...when she saw her. HER. The History of Magic Professor.

Crud!

Wide eyed, the Slytherin was going to grab her flip flops and make a run for it but Destiny was in the way. GAH! When did her friend get so close to her anyways? Cringing at the loud yelling as it echoed throughout the place, Evelyn paused like a statue, her heart pounding a million times a minute. Her name wasn't called. Oh, thank Merlin. It was Rae and whoever the other person was.

Seeing as she was already close enough to the third floor corridor entry way, she tried to make sure the Professor was distracted enough by Rae and whoever else it was she was trying to get answers from before removing her self from the situation. Inch, by inch, she scooted towards the corridor. Flip flops or not, getting a detention was not on her list of things to do this year. Besides, what would Kingsley say!? She couldn't have this on her record! Then he wouldn't teach her!

Inch...

Inch...inch...

Run? No, she needed her flip flops. Pffft.

Kurumi looked at Katie a little surprised. "Really," she said as she leaned over the railing a little more to catch a better glimpse of all the students using the stairs as water slides. "It really does start to feel like home, doesn't it?"

"Yes it does" Katie said looking at the students using the stairs as a waterfall, wait, is that Destiny, Hehe, Silly Destiny! "Kurumi can I ask you something?" Katie said still looking at Destiny

Kurumi looked over her left shoulder at Katie. "Sure, what's up?" she has just perfected that expression a little earlier and thought she would give it a try.

Autumn's eyes widened. Caught. Uh-oh. Was this against the rules? Surely there couldn't be a rule that explicitly said, "Students must not turn the stairs into a water slide," could there? "It... There... Um. It's a water slide." she answered with a nod. She'd said she wouldn't snitch, so she wasn't gonna tell whose idea it was, uh-uh, no way... But... *wibble* she didn't want to get in trouble for this. But alas, she would take what was coming. Which... Might be the professor joining in? *Pointlessly hopeful*

"I've been thinking and I think Adam has been flirting with another girl and he likes her and not me, I know, were to young for this but still..." Katie said, before she continued she wanted to see what Kurumi had to say, Katie thought what her reaction would be when she told who he loved, well who Katie thought..

Kurumi frowned for a momemt. Adam and her hardly ever talked about flirting or the whole boyfriend and girlfriend thing. They just enjoyed being 11-year-olds together. It was true Adam was really popular with girls, but that seemed to be because there was a serious lack of guys in their first year class. "What gives you that idea," Kurumi asked still trying to think as she started running her fingers through her long ebony hair.

Err... "Hold on.. Let me think of a way.." She wasn't coming up with anything, maybe since Eavesdropper said she would help.. She could think of a way. Still, she just wanted fun.

Rae watched as Eavesdropper followed Rae, then congratulated her idea... Alright then, She wasn't as annoying anymore. "Thanks, Name's Rae." Rae was a bit over the top the last tie they had met. Eavesdropper/Autumn didn't seem too down on that though. Which meant Rae was in the clear.



Oh no... Oh no no no NO! Rae had worked SO hard to get this to work. She really didn't want to be busted. She looked at the professor with the expression of surprise. Her fun, it was gone. Rae looked up the slide to Fletcher giving him the "What do I do?" look. Yes, Rae had been the mastermind of this plan. But how can she get out of this? She was getting everyone in trouble. Rae wished that she could close her eyes and sit on the cold ground by herself and just pretend this wasn't happening. Her energy faded, her thoughts flooded back. Her heart was beating fast and she couldn't possibly go this way through the year. Problem. She just stayed silent looking at the Professor in utter defeat. No, her thoughts, theyre coming back. GO AWAY

"Welcome, Miss Hollingberry," she replied as she glanced to the young Gryffindor before looking back to the others. She was going to have to keep her eye on them.


Shaking her head, she looked at everyone present. "You all might as well get down here. Don't think just because I didn't call your name, I don't know you are here." she announced as she tapped her foot impatiently.

Three champions, three Slytherins and a Gryffindor. That was some little group. Seriously, she was baffled at why this group thought they would do such a thing. Such an act would not be good for anyone involved and what would the other headmasters say once they caught word that their champions were involved. No, it was just a lose-lose situation.

"Yes, I can see it's a water slide, Miss Shepard and Miss MacLean. But why are our moving stairs a water slide?" she asked as she eyed the Slytherin and noticed Miss Flores-Shepard. "Miss Flores-Shepard, I see you, so you might as well stay put as well."

In all honesty, the idea was rather amusing and in her days as a student, she herself would have done something similar. But that was another time and right now, she knew how dangerous it was.

"Miss Skye, do you have any idea just how dangerous this is? These stairs are some of the most unpredictable stairs I have every been on. What would have happen if the stairs turned and you were sliding upon them and you didn't land in the kiddie pool. What if you missed the pool all together and severely hurt yourself or one of your accomplices hurt themselves?"

No she didn't even want to think about all the things that could possible go wrong with such a stint. What would Headmaster Tate say if he saw this. "You are all doing Hogwarts a injustice in your behaviour. We don't condone such reckless behaviour. I really did think you all were better than such behaviour, especially you champions. I'm going to have to contact all the headmasters about this now."

Fletcher had jussssst stowed his wand away in its thigh holster and was literally at the edge of the water slide, hands out in a diving motion, when lo and behold a fun killer had to arrive.

"Ppprofessor!" he stammered, backing away from the slide and hastily folding his arms across his bare chest. Wellllll now how was he going to get out of this one? He glanced at Rae and shrugged, not sure what to say. The History of Magic Professor was talking about contacting all the Headmasters of the schools, but that didn't really bother Fletcher. After all, TaterTot already thought of him as what, a GlitterPuff? Pshhhhhh. He wasn't concerned.

But he did need to say something. Probably. "Please, Professor Welton, we took all the safety precautions we could... The steps have been glisseo'd and everything." He tried to put on his best, most innocent puppy dawg face. "And if you want.... you can have a go too!"

Perfectly harmless! Probably even less dangerous than the Giant Tree House, even.

The Durmstrang monsieur had been invited as well? Not that he cared really, especially since he was agreeing with him. But that still didn't make him feel any better about the situation. Glancing up to the long line of staircases, his fear only felt as if a large rock just fell into his stomach. So many staircases that were moving.

Hearing something about the water being too hot, Noel looked back down to the others, spotting Destiny, the potato girl. Well, it was more likely that the icy staircase slide would burn her instead of the water, and he was just about to voice his opinions and reasons why they shouldn't be doing this here when, another champion appeared. Another champion? Someone tell him Brielle, Monique, and Jermaine weren't invited as well. On second thought, maybe it would have been a good thing they were. They could back him up on this horrible plan!

"Mademoiselle Rae, please don't!" Trying to reach out to pull her back from going down the slide, he was obviously too late. And he was too distracted in making sure that she got down there safe that he hadn't noticed the other girl next to him at the top of the stairs until she slid down as well. He was going to have a panic attack! "Perhaps, we take zis outside? Zere are some good hills we could glisseo." It was safer that way.

No, something was wrong. That dark haired girl, she looked just about panicked as he was. Perhaps she finally understood that this was a bad idea? Oh. Ce n'est pas bon! Looking behind him to see a Professor from the looks of it, walking down the stairs towards them, Noel was shocked in place. He would have tried to explain, but his mouth was definitely not working at the moment. They were caught by a professor! Standing up straight, he took a step away from the slide and gave all his attention to the Professor, sneaking tiny glances to the others of course. Guilty. They were all guilty!

She was going to tell their Headmasters? HIS Headmistress? "Veuillez ne pas faire!" he finally spoke, or stammering more like it, not even being able to comprehend that he wasn't speaking English. He had never been in trouble before. And to only start at a foreign school where he was to keep up the reputation of Beauxbatons? Ashamed. He was ashamed of himself, and guilty. So, so guilty.

Hmm, the professor had a good point. The moving stairs becoming a water slide? Just imagine...ALL the moving stairs a water slide! And when one moved, you just landed on another water slide, and it was like a never ending slide! Was it bad that she wanted that to happen even though they were getting in trouble now for one staircase being a water slide?

Probably.

Having finally inched her way over to her flip flops, still praying that she wasn't being seen even though she darn well knew she had been caught, Evelyn finally managed to get back over to the third floor corri- GAH! Sighing in defeat, the Slytherin turned and looked over to the Professor, flip flops hanging loosely in her right hand and altogether looking as if her legs were going to buckle underneath her at any moment. Severely hurt themselves? Well, it wouldn't be the first time some of them had gotten severely hurt, only this time, it wouldn't be against their own will.

WHAT!? Tell the Headmaster!? Hehe, she would've laughed at the Frenchie dudes random outburst of French, but this was a serious matter. Telling the Headmaster...it would get around to their Head of House. And then ultimately, the other professors.....

NOOOO! "But...professor..." she said, trying her hardest to keep any whining out of her voice. "What if we promise not to do it again? In fact, we should all just...go to our dormitories and study our hearts out!" And finish that History of Magic essay that she had yet to start.

Sylvie looked back to the stairs and shook her head. "Mister Fletcher, accidents happen and one can never be too careful." she replied with her arms crossed now. She had have to hand it to them for thinking up such an idea, but the sheer danger involved was what troubled her.

Yes, there had been times when similar things had been done, but those events were under the close supervision. This wasn't one of those times, now was it?

Shaking her head as she heard the suggestion of herself taking a turn. "I can not do that in good judgement, as fun as it maybe. It's far to dangerous and what kind of example would that be?" No, she wouldn't take a go, even if she wanted too.

Once again she shook her head and turned toward the Beauxbatons Champion. "Monsieur Laurent, is this the way a champion should be behaving? What would Headmistress Enzo think?" Again, she was rather disappointed in the champions before her.

"Give me a reason why I shouldn't go start to Headmaster Tate and the other headmasters?" She would give them the opportunity to explain themselves, but they really had to convince her.

"Kurumi, he likes you" Katie said, what would Kurumi say? lets find out...

"Hello Professor, How are you?" Katie said as she smiled at the Professor.

Was...this supposed to be new news? Kurumi already knew that Adam liked her and she liked him. "I know," she said with a smile. "He is one of my best friends if not my best friend." What exactly was Katie trying to get at...and why was it whenever they were alone just the two of them she was always asking questions about Adam?

Headmistress Enzo. Oh dear Merlin, don't let her find out. Not here, not ever! She couldn't know!

Taking a tiny step back, and standing up even straighter as if that would get him out of trouble, Noel stared at the professor. First of all, he was trying to remember her name, and second of all, he was trying to see if she was actually serious in telling his Headmistress. She looked pretty serious. When was a professor never serious about a punishment though? And this, was definitely a punishment. The idea of being punished, was punishment enough.

"Professor..." Something. Clearing his throat, he took the step back forward and lowering his voice a bit so he'd stop stammering as he glanced at the others. "I was just telling zem zat perhaps we should take zis water slide idea outside. It iz much safer zat way." They all were witness to his panic attack! "And, I zink zey were just beginning to agree az well and see reason when you showed up."

Right? Please, someone tell him he was right and others were going to agree. "Oui?" Queue the others agreeing with him would be nice.

"I suppose we might deserve being told on," Autumn conceded. "But we really didn't mean to do anything wrong. I guess none of us thought this through very much." Well... Except Noel, he did have some sort of an episode earlier... She frowned slightly. They really weren't trying to be bad kids... *Wibble* "But now that we've realized that this might have been dangerous, we'll of course stop. And clean up and fix the stairs and all that, too." She reeeeally hoped the professor decided to be merciful.

Uhh Uhhh Uhh.... No.. Professor was making the champions feel guilty, and they didn't even want to be here. Besides Fletcher of course. Rae was going to have to step up and take it all wouldn't she? Of course she would, how else could everyone not get in trouble unless Rae took the blame. Which, it was her fault anyways. Rae was just about to explain that she could go to Headmaster Tate about Rae and leave everyone else out. Before she could say anything she heard French Dude's voice.


WHAT? OH MERLIN! What a fantastic idea! Oh Rae needed to think of a major way to thank him for this later. Maybe there was a chance they could get out of this after all. He said something that Rae didn't understand, but at this moment she would agree with anything he said. "Oui, Yeah... We were just going to, you know... Move it along... Outside, that is." Rae exclaimed with confidence and nodding her head. How could she ever repay French Dude if this actually worked?

Thoughts, memories, they were back though. Even if Rae got out of trouble or not, the thoughts were back. Getting rid of them now seemed impossible. Breathing, almost seemed impossible.

Adam trekked up the moving staircase, this was not a staircase this was a Maze . He saw Katie and Kurumi somewhat by the top."Hey Katie,"Adam siad, without thinking what he was doing, he leaned in and kissed Katie on the Cheek ."Hey Kurumi...What's going on?"
