Oh no! They were all so dooooomed! It was going to be their fault that Beauxbatons, Hogwarts AND Durmstrang were all down one champion, and then they were all going to be known as the people that lost the schools a champion! That was not good at all. People were going to POINT and LAUGH at them. They weren't allowed to do that! That was Destiny's job. A reason not to go to the Headmasters about this? Well, Destiny could give the reason that they were all big and scary, but by saying that, Professor Welton would probably just drag them to the Headmasters all the faster. Tate would surely owl her parents and tell them what she did. Oh SWEET MERLIN her parents! They were going to be so angry that she was caught doing something dangerous! They were going to make her wear that bubble suit again, only they were going to make her wear it around the school! People would tease her! "Professor! If you tell the Headmaster on me, my parents..they will.." she took a few steps closer to the woman, because Evelyn was the only one that knew about this, and she didn't want everyone else |

"Because....." Fletcher eyed Miss Suck Up Noel (that's right, MISS) "we are moving outside AND we're going to... going to.... put a cushioning charm on the kiddie pool at the end so it's extra safe and and...." He trailed off and scratched the back of his head, basically out of ideas. "THEN you can participate, Professor!" *BEAM!* |
For my mischievous lovelies, you know who you are ♥ and the sweet firsties Sylvie smile at the young snake as she kept on eye on the little group before her. "I'm rather good, Miss Star. Perhaps you and your friend should move to the corridor. I have some things to discuss with the older students and we wouldn't want you to get hurt," she replied. Water, stairs and first years. Yeah, she didn't think those went well together and she didn't want anyone to possible trip whilst the water was present. Turning back to the group, she looked each on in the eye. "As fun as the moving stairs may look, they are dangerous still. I can't fathom why you would want to risk something like this indoor." Stone stairs plus water. That was not a recipe for a fun time in any country. Leaning in a bit, she eyed Noel and listened to what he was attempting to convince was their plan. "Really, is that so? I wonder why you didn't all consider doing this outdoors to begin with?" She knew very well that it was possible that they were really about to move their activities outdoors, but she was still having a hard time buying their stories now. Looking to Autumn, she shook her head. "Miss MacLean, I wonder if you thought at all about what you were getting yourselves into with a stint like this. I would hope you would stop," It was dangerous after all and think of what effects it would have on the image of all the schools involved. "Yes, I would truly appreciate it if you did clean up this." It was rather unfair if they left their mess for others to clean. Whether or not she would advise them to do it the muggle way was still in her mind. "Actually, I would advise you not to take this outside at all and just clean it up now, Miss Skye. I really do have half a mind to give you all detention for this. Endangering yourselves like this. Headmaster Tate would be so disappointed in your behaviour," she added as she shook her head once again. Wasn't the first rule in this place, to stay ALIVE? Again, they kept offering her a go at the slide. No, she wasn't going to be tempted like that. "As fun as it does sound, Mister Fletcher. I decline and I advise you all to clean this all up. I will be lenient and allow you to use magic this time." After seeing the distress on both Shepards' faces and hearing what Destiny had told her, she knew what she had to do. "You do realize that I should be going to Headmaster Tate this very moment and telling him of this, but the ramifications of this would result in some very bad things. Detentions, loss of house points, disqualification from the tournament...the list could go on and on. I'm sure you all don't want that. Am I correct?" Looking to the three champions again, she sighed. "Do you realize that if you are assigned detention that will lead to automatic disqualification from the tournament? I would hate for any of you to have this opportunity taken away from you, so I will not assign detention...this time." No, she wasn't going to be the one to take this opportunity away. "No detention for any of you, but I want these stairs cleaned before anyone else gets any ideas." Yes, she was letting them off easy. She did have a heart after all. "I will be watching you all though, so think of this as a warning. I will not think twice about deducting points and assigning detention, if I catch any of you seven again." |

All right so Fletcher got the message now. Professor Welton really wasn't into slip-n-slides. And she really wasn't going to give them detentions, even though he had REALLY REALLY wanted one. As much as Fletcher wanted a detention, he wanted to win the Triwizard Tournament SO much more..... since it did come with a giant galleon prize and all. The boy sighed instead and bowed his head, the perfect picture of penitence. "Sorry professor. Won't let it happen again." And by 'it' he of course meant the 'getting caught' part of Rae's water slide plan. Shuffling over to where the steps were still glisseo'd, Fletcher taped the banister with his wand and nonverbally finite incantatem'd it. He then proceeded to dry up some of the water all around with that handy spell Sadie had used at the lake the other day. The lake. OOH. Next time they would just build a giant slide down to the lake. Yeahhhhh. |
Oh Merlin she wasn't giving them detention! Or getting the foreigner's and Fletcher in trouble. YESSSS! What would Headmaster Tate think? As long as they stay alive then who cares? Rae obliged and bowed her head to Professor Welton on the request that she clean it up. "Yes professor." But if it weren't for all these people on the line for getting in trouble... Rae would've reacted much differently. She went over to the kiddie pool and started drying up the water and then making the kiddie pools transform into a plastic cup. After all, they were Transfigured, and they would end up as cups again soon. Rae did want detention this year, but not for this one. No, there were other opportunities for detention. Ones where she didn't get other's in trouble too. Unless they wanted detention too, she could certainly think of someone. However, no matter how the situation played out, she still had the thoughts. Right about now they were starting to consume her. It was getting a bit hard to stay normal. Or whatever normal was for her this year, for she acted pretty different from last term. |

With her heart practically beating like that of a hummingbird, Destiny stood stock still waiting for whatever punishment they were going to get. She knew, no matter what punishment she'd receive, it would be nothing compared to the humiliation of wearing that bubble suit around school. Hopefully And the way the woman was talking with her big words, it didn't seem like they were getting let off. For all Destiny knew, she could have been sending them to the Durmstangers Headmaster, and really, she did not want to be in the same room with that man. She was horrified with him being in the same SCHOOL as him. She nodded her head through the Professor's speech, even though she wasn't really listening. The thumping of her "Evanesco." Bye, bye water! |

Jayce hopped up the moving staircase, taking the stairs two at a time. For some reason, he had decided to take a jog up and down these stairs. Maybe it was to fill the void that Opal had left when he left her home this year. Sigh, he missed her too much for his own good. Although, she was probably fine with his mother... Mehh. Jay stopped midway in on the staircase and took a sip of the water bottle he had been carrying with him. |

ZOMG! BFF JASON! "JAAAAAAAAAAAAASON!!!!"She said, smiling widely at him. Savvy wasn't exactly happy and it probably showed on her face but she was going to try and act happy. It worked most of the time, yes? |
♥ You all make me giggle. Sylvie stood back for a moment as she watched them clean up. She didn't want to be the one to rain on their parade and all, but someone had to and it was probably better for it to be her than someone else. Cringing, she thought of just would have happened if someone else had found them. Visions of detention ran through her head and strange enough, she pictured Headmaster Zitnik and she was a bit terrified for the students. Shaking her thoughts, she nodded as she saw the salute Miss Shepard gave her and smiled. She would have to keep her eye on all of them for now on. Clever little kiddies they all were. "Thank you for cleaning up. Just a word of advice, if you think about doing anything like this again, do it OUTSIDE." Yes, it would be safer and if not, she was sure Neo would stop them. Giving them and nod, she took her leave. She still had to visit a certain colleague to discuss an upcoming lesson. |
... ....... *hyperventilate* They weren't getting into trouble. No words with the headmaster. No Lafay finding out. No Mr. Ruffles finding out! This was all still sinking into her mind as she watched the others start to clean up the waterslide. Sure, she should've been helping but, regardless of how many times she'd been told of cleaning spells, she could barely remember them right now. She was just too relieved that nothing seriously horrifyingly bad just happened. Wait...outside? "Are you giving us permission!?" Evelyn called as she watched the Professor walk away. Because if they did this outside, then they at least had an excuse to NOT get into trouble if that key grounds guy thought it was wrong. Meh, she wasn't in the water-sliding mood now anyways. Ice skating sounded better. EXTREME ice skating that is. "Hey Destiny! Guess what I just thought of?!" Hehehehe. |

Jayce peered over the railing of the staircase. Wow, he was up pretty high. It was kind of scary.. Jay turned back and leaned his back against the railing. Probably not the safest of things to do when you're up so high. As he began to take another sip of his water bottle, he was bumped into, and ended up spilling the mostly filled bottle all over himself and almost falling over the railing. Merlin. But as he turned to scold whoever it was, probably a clumsy firstie, he realized it was only Savvy. He grinned broadly. "Hiya Sav." The Gryffindor replied, as he glanced down at his wet robes. Heh. |

Evelyn and eavesdropper Rae. :P As she evanesco'd the water, Destiny watched from the Professor from the corner of her eye. She wasn't sure if Welton was only joking when she let them off the hook. She was old after all, and everyone knows old people like to change their mind whenever they please. Like Grandmum Tole. That woman says she wants pumpkin juice and then she changes her mind and asks for firewhisky! Fickle old people. When the Professor did finally leave, Destiny breathed a sigh of relief. She must not be that old then, since they were really were not in trouble. Stowing her wand, since the water was sorta almost cleaned all up, she looked at Evelyn when she told her to guess what she had thought of. Pfffft, Destiny was never good at guessing games, "You're thinking that instead of making a water slide out of water we should have used milk because milk makes our bones stronger and we wouldn't have had to worry about breaking something?" |

Savannah had a confused expression on her face, one that showed she was TRUELY baffled why he was all wet. Her green eyes then shifted towards the water bottle that was now half empty.OHHHH!!!! That must have been what got him all wet. TEHHE. GIGGLE. And it was probably her fault, Oops. The blonde's eyes flickered up from his wet robes to his face, grinning."S'up, Jasface?"Savannah said with a nod of her head. This was her attempt at being uberly cool. ......she was failing epicly. |

Jayce laughed again, as he stared into the confused face of Miss Savannah Conrad. How did she not know? Hadn't she seen him spill it all over himself? Mehh.. probably not. She was too busy bumping into him. Smiiiiiiirk. "Jasface?" he question. What was that? "Errr.. is that supposed to be me?" he asked stupidly. Duh. 'Course it was. "Not much i guess. 'Cept for the fact that Trix and I broke up.." he sighed. But it was betterish now, cause he had Hayley. "Annnnnnd... What about chu?" he asked curiously, staring into her green eyes with his own blue ones. |
Quote:
Broke up? OH NO. "Awwwwh....that stinks."Sniffle. Not that Savannah felt any remorse towards the situation at all. She had her own problems to worry about."Well, if you like need anything i'm here for like comfort and stuff..."Cause Savvy was certainly good at that, it was one of the few things she was good at. Hehhh."Me? Just classes, nothing really exciting..."Shrug. |
Quote:
"Yeah.." he sighed, "It does. But.. it was all my fault." Jay leaned back on the railing a bit more and avoided eye contact with Savvy. Stupid, evil, baaaaad Jayce. "Oh, err. Thanks Sav." he replied, still avoiding her eyes. Gahh. Sometimes, he hated himself. Jay blamed everything on himself, even if it had nothing to do with him. Even though, in this case, it did have something to do with them. "Oh yeah? How's life then?" |
