"My cousin said it was wonderful." Cass said as she remembered those nights when Lyra had never shut up about the castle, or the perfect climate, or the wood nymphs that serenaded them. "I was supposed to study there..." She admitted softly
Cass giggled and said "Well, I only met him at the start of the term..and he only asked me out via OWL since he isn't from Hogwarts." She shrugged delicately and added "With the exams and all...I guess it must have slipped my mind. Sorry."
"Yeah." Cass said with a giggle "Well at least he'll be here next term."
Then her smile faded when Rex mentioned that she had been ignoring him. "Oh, no. I was just dreadfully stressed with the exams." She explained "Sorry."
" Good, I am happy for you having a boyfriend" Rex told Cass. " No problem, I understand about the stress with the exams" Rex said to Cass. " No sorry needed from my good friend, everything is cool with us" Rex explained to Cass.

"I see." Freya nodded her head. She understand how Rex feeling about his seventh year. She probably feeling the same if she was in his position. "I'm gonna miss you too Rex. I'm gonna miss my teasing buddy" she grinned. "Yeah it was a great place."
" I knew you would understand me " Rex told Freya. " Well, I appreciate you missing me" Rex said to Freya. " I will not know who to tease anymore" Rex laughed. " Owl me from Italy, ok?" Rex asked Freya.
"It's all good" She said trailing off awkwardly. She watched him look out the window sadly. "May I ask, but what's wrong?" She wanted to help, she didn't like to see people sad.
*Matty kept looking out the window and shrugged again.*
"There's a friend... well... ex-friend now. She has this boyfriend that... I don't trust him. It's just a big mess..."
Ema sighed as she walked down the corridor between compartments. She did NOT want to leave. Her scheme to chain herself to Hogwarts had failed miserably and where had she been all term? She had hardly spoken to anyone all year, and now it was ending. All of it. How did this happen?
She leaned against the wall to let others pass her, as she was taking her time. This was just all so...depressing. Where was Melanie, and Miranda, and...and...and...heck, where was Treyen? Anyone she knew. Where were they? She wasn't even up to date on the latest gossip! Who was going out with who now? Who got the most detention? (...well duh, Jake...) But wait, she hadn't even seen HIM.
"I HATE this." she hissed, letting out a huff. "Hate it hate it hate it hate it hate it hate it hate it hate it hate it..." she muttered as the train rumbled on, closer to home.

Ugh.
Walking. He was walking. And then Treyen came to a stop. He almost dropped whatever he was holding and just blinked, blinked, blinked.
"Emalyn!" he exclaimed, his tone was full of surprise. "Where have you been?!" he asked, walking fast to stand beside her. "You're leaving." Like, after the train. Because she wasn't coming back. Cue sad face.
He...didn't know what else to say, this was the first time he was dealing with someone that was entirely leaving, and he knew it. Aaron was different. Tiberius was different. Glitter!girl was different, because no matter how much he knew he was going to miss the glitter, he was a bit glad that it was over.
He was unwrapping another pastie when he spied that Lexi was starting to brighten up "There you go!..."she's giggling again"Yeah hang out in Diagon Alley-- get a makeover..." he winked at Mia "... and there are a lota happenings in London. Yeah go see Dylan, go see whomever you want... " Then he paused "Uhm, who's Dylan?"
Her question made him look down at the treats in his arm, which has begun to dwindle at a steady rate from his snacking. "Uhrmm.." like he knew what an artery was. But it sounded serious. He didnt want a clogged whatever that was, heck he didnt want to have a clogged anything. Looking at Lexi he replied "You're right." waving his hand with the pastie, emphasizing his words "... I should start eating healthy." But the pastie smelled sooo good. "I'll start tomorrow." cuz you know, its only a day away.
Salander didn't know... Dylan Denver? FOR SHAME. Hahaha. Smiling she said, "Dylan's my brother and a Slytherin. Shame on you, Sal. Shame.... wait are you trying to say I need a makeover? How rude!" Gah! That made her self conscious. She peered and Sal so as to see her reflection in the compartment to see her hair and... oh she looked like whodunit! Giving Sal a pouty face she tried to smooth her hand down and wipe the remnants of the mascara from under her eyes.

"Ok...ok..just relax and dont do anything more to anger her," Simon instructed him as he got up and tried to think of what he could do to help his friend. He seached his pockets for something to intice the bird away from the other boy, frowning as he found nothing but then remembering the cookies Kurumi had given to him last night. The Gryffindor moved to his trunk and opened it having stashed the baked goods in there for safe keeping. He took one out and closed the lid before breaking off a small piece and waving it in the owl's direction.
"Here Hotty, I have something for you," he said hoping it would work.

This was something that actually kept her silent for a moment. Access to the rest of the books? Did she mean, those ones that she wasn't aloud to get near!? THOSE ones? Well, that definitely got her thinking. But wait, there was more! She was going to buy her something nice? Such a persuasive argument. Evelyn did love gifts. Just about to say that she'd stay, Rae continued on with a topic that she could never get tired of. She was right! If Rae could have her friend, person, whatever he was to her, over...then she could have someone over. And that someone, being JOSH! "Alright, alright. Deal. I'm still going to Destiny's tonight though." Where was that girl? She had to ask!
But onto other important matters, like asking Josh over this summer, her gaze turned back to the Gryffindor who was BRAVELY petting Poof. Well, at least she was scratching him. Normally her head or tail being touched was not a good idea. "She is, isn't she!?" Pfft, she was ADORABLE. "But, like Rae mentioned...do you want to come over this Summer?"
Or...not?
Eesh, this was like first year all over again! Or was it second year? Who knows when she had that darn owl. Goodness. The owl's frenzy caused Poof to meow and hiss at it, making Evelyn scowl and move away from both the bird and Josh. She didn't want Poof to be clawed, nor herself.
However, she did not enjoy Josh being scratched up either. OMG owl! Take the bait! Take whatever Simon was giving yoouuu!

ANNNNDDDD Back to Josh.. "Yes quite a different summer...." Evelyn had just offered him to stay over too.. "Seems like you do as well, that is... If you like Evelyn's offer.." Well, Rae's idea but same thing.
Whaa? Attacking bird! Rae pushed herself in the corner while the frantic bird kept pecking at Josh and flapping it's wings. Grrr.. Erebos never did this. He was by far the best raven... Nayy the best bird ever. Sit in the corner... Rae will just stay in the corner.

"Thank you" he replied, trying to keep himself from wincing when the Joshua mentioned his name for a second time as Gryffindor extended the invitation to their compartment. But the Slytherin lad hasnt even gone past the doorway when the saw an owl assaulting the Gryffindor boy. "The heck's the matter with that bird?" He saw the Gryffindor boy from Runes class offering some sort of cookie "Is it hungry?" he asked, holding out one of his meat pasties "Try to see if it likes this" who knows, maybe it would take it for a mouse.
No matter how hard he tried to protect himself the angry eagle owl somehow managed to peck and claw his face and head and it really did hurt...like...A LOT. He could punch or slap it away yet he did not want to hurt the bird since it would be a mean thing to do so. Now Josh had started to think that he might have did something bad to do bird to make it that angry to himself.
''Simon'' the Gryffindor boy uttered again hoping his best friend would try to help him. Ah, there was also the fact that everyone in the compartment was watching him while the owl attacked. That was definitely not cool. He really wanted to say 'Yes' to Evelyn and Rae's offer of inviting him over but he was, apparently, unable to do so.
Then he heard Simon's voice telling him to relax and do nothing else to anger the bird more. ''How...can...i...relax...now?'' Josh responded between pecking attacks yet after a moment or so, which felt like forever to the Gryffindor boy, the bird stopped clawing him and flew towards Simon to take the cookie. Of course it seemed interesting to the bird yet after one or two pecking and swallowing it down, it flew towards Salander, the Slytherin boy, to take what he was offering.
Meanwhile Josh whose face and arms were full of scratches, some of them were deep, took a deep breath of relief eyeing the bird as she was busy with the meat pasty perching on Josh's trunk. ''Thank you'' then Josh murmured adressing both Simon and Salander as trying to check his wounds. This attack, of course, reminded him of Evelyn's owl, No-Name, attacking him in his first year. Or was it second year? Anyway it did not matter.
Moving to get closer to Evelyn, the boy managed a smile but ''Ow!'' even smiling did hurt his face, he smiled again nevertheless. ''Yes, um. I'd love to'' he replied her question of summer plans. Better late than never. Then he looked at everyone in the compartment, blinking. ''Is everyone okay?'' Hotty the owl did not terrorise anyone else, did she?

"I - yeah." she wasn't sure what to say to that. Leaving was such a harsh word in this case. "But, more just like...a lifelong temporary break." Lies, all lies! She sniffed and looked off in the other direction, as if she was studying something far off. She blinked rapidly and then looked back at Treyen. "I'm gonna miss it." Enough of that, you!
"But err - how has your term been? Excited for the summer?" she asked, tugging at her earlobe and trying to put a happy smile on her face.

He looked to Rae when she got curious. "Its my name, one of my given names..." he grumbled, tilting his head at Evelyn's overuse of it. "My folks got overly possessive so they gave me just about every blasted name they both had. I'd trade all of that for "Duncan" any day." he snorted.

Well now, if she knew she'd be getting gifts if she decided to leave, she'd be doing it more often! Of course, it wasn't like she was going to permanently leave the home. Not when she had that perfect room right there that was HERS. No way was she leaving it. Besides, the place was in a private area, and she had an awesome roomy. Why leave?
"Awesome." She nodded, moving just a tad out of the way for Rae to go into the corner she was in now. Really, that bird was crazy. Crazier then No-Name! At least No-Name didn't scratch the heck out of he- NOOOO! It was scratching Josh's face! She, she had to help. Or no...she had to do something first. "Duncan?" she repeated in surprise, her attention moving back towards Salander. Well that was definitely a unique name. It sounded familiar though. "Who's Duncan? And why do you want that name?" Of course she had no clue he was talking about Huffie Puff. The same Huffie Puff who was invading staying in their home.
Movement at her side had her attention once more turned away to...Josh! Oh goodness, look at him. His face! And of course everywhere else but...the owl was evil! "Oh Merlin..." she muttered, turning towards him, her fingers gently grazing across his scratched cheek. A small smile appeared on her lips when he agreed to visit during the summer, however her eyes were concerned filled, staring at those cuts. Hottie had death claws.
And she was no good at healing spells. Eh. "You're owl is worse then my pets." she snickered, taking her hand away from his face. She didn't want them to hurt anymore more than they probably did already.
Viky walked down the passageway, dragging her suitcase behind her as she looked for either an empty compartment or one that contained someone she knew. So Josh, Hayley, or Simon. That was actually kind of pathetic, she realised. She'd had a whole term, and she'd made three actual friends. Next term, she'd have to do something about that. It was just sad.
Grinning, she saw Simon, Josh, and some girl she didn't know but assumed was Evelyn in a compartment together, with an owl that seemed to be attacking Josh. Brilliant. She opened the door, slipped inside, and sat herself next to Simon. 'Hi,' she said quietly. 'Owl problem?'

A little absent? More than absent, really. He didn't even know if she still went to Hogwarts or not, which made him think that being a seventh year was simply demanding when it came to studies, NEWTs and everything. Sigh. Thank Gilderoy he was still years from that!
Treyen smiled. Yes, beamed actually. "That's a nice way to look at it, really, " he said, while eying the landscape through the window. Yup, they were getting closer and closer. "Lifelong temporary break...who knows, maybe one day you'll come to teach." Everything was possible, and in a magical world nothing seemed impossible.
"Oh, it was exciting, with the Tournament and Fletcher winning and all, I did miss Quidditch." Nod, nod, he truly missed it, it was a good thing that it was coming back, starting the summer. "Of course! Quidditch will be there, " he started to say, "And while I do love Hogwarts, we all need a break from it, don't you think?" why he asked that was beyond him, because she wasn't coming back. Happy thoughts. Happy thoughts. "I'm glad I got to meet you, Ema," he smiled, a very sweet smile, "And now you'll have more time to see my sister play."

Ema nodded. She had forgotten about that little part, the possibility of coming back for some reason, like teaching. "Oh yeah...I'm really interesting in becoming a nurse. Maybe St. Mungos, but you never know, maybe I'll be your school nurse in a couple years." she let a genuine smile out at that.
"Mmm, it was exciting, wasn't it?" And then...ah yes, no Quidditch. "Oh...yeah. I was hoping to play with Miranda one more time." she shrugged. That was NOT a happy thought. "But hey, now I can play on my own time, right? Even if it isn't with all my favorite people." Surely there was a place she could go to just...play? Obviously not in her hometown, but...
Oh no. *Sniff. *Sniff sniff*. "I'm glad I got to meet you too, Treyen." Her bottom lip quivered momentarily but she was able to refrain to focus on what Treyen said next.
"OH YEAH!!" Kaika! Of course! "I really really really really really really really really really wanna go to one of her games." she beamed for the first time in a while, thinking about her old Captain. "She must be brilliant, eh?"Duh, Ema.

Er, what?! A nurse? "Oh, if you get into St. Mungo's you can check out Gilderoy's file, I bet that's the awesomest thing ever!" he practically squealed, but didn't because he was not a girl. He did, however, have a huge smile on his face. See? Goodbyes didn't HAVE to be sad.
"Maybe," he said, with a nod, "You better hurry up, I can't stay in Hogwarts for long," no matter how awesome he was, Treyen still needed to help Aaron rule the World.
Blink. Blink. Miranda. Oh, he never wrote to her!
"Yeah, Miranda." That was all he said, he was still the saddest boy on earth, this was supposed to be her final year, and even if her offer was a good one (not a perfect one, since the perfect one would've been playing for the Arrows) he was still sad that she never came back.
Haha. Of course she was glad to have met him. He was the next Gilderoy Lockhart. Sort of. Another smile and he looked up. "If she's still playing then she must be, I only saw her once last summer," and she'd been playing brilliantly, "I want to see Miranda this summer, though." It was probably the best idea to try and catch a Harpies-Wasps game, you know, to see them both.

Ah. Of course. Gilderoy. Ema nodded, though not as enthusiastically as Treyen about this little tidbit. Not that looking through the files of madcases wouldn't be interesting. "Yeah um...definitely. I mean, wouldn't that just be the highlight of working there?" Sarcasm, of course, but hidden enough and said with the straightest of faces.
"I miss that girl." Her bestest bud, fo' sho'.
"Wait...see Miranda this summer? Is she...was she? You don't mean - This would explain the fact that Ema hadn't seen nor heard from her Captain in a while. "Seriously? That's...awesome!" Though she missed her, she couldn't help but smile at this news. "What team?" How had she missed this?

Oh, she was so right! "Of course it would! You'd be so lucky!" and he couldn't help but smile, and keep on smiling. He soooooo wanted to get his hands on that file. It would answer many of his questions....er, wait a minute, "Ema, if you do get into St. Mungo's..." haha, here it comes, "...would you let me know?" he said, the last bit almost in a whisper.
She probably knew why such information could be so valuable, no?
Treyen's smile faded. Miranda had been the only Captain he knew. He missed her dearly, and was completely shocked to hear she wasn't coming back, of course, no problem there, considering there was no Quidditch.
Blink. Blink. What was that look on Emalyn's face? Waaaaaaaaaaait a second! Did she not know?! How on earth did Emalyn N. Daniels (yeah, he knows stuff) not know that Miranda was now a Quidditch player?! Gasp!
"How--Didn't you--What?!" yeah, not one question was entirely formulated. "She issssssss!" he smiled, "For the Harpies, though, not the brightest choice," because the Arrows were much better by far, "But a good one, indeed." Actually, the Harpies were a very good team, Treyen just didn't support them.
