OOoh so Bauxbaton was warm!. She wondered if they had a beach near by or something. That would most certainly explain their lovely tans. All the Bauxbaton students were just so lovely and golden. And Nono's tan certainly brought out his blue eyes.
"So do you guys have a beach nearby or something?"

Of course Nono was right about books being able to speak to you. Literary and Figuratively speaking, but she wasn't being profound or anything.
"Yes you are right Noel." She nodded. He was a rather smart boy, no wonder they put him in Raven Claw. She bet he fit in as snug as a bug. She then tried to glimpse at the book that he had dropped. Why was he reading that? She laughed at the look on his face after reading a section of the book, plus his comment made it all the more funny.
"You're funny Nono." And she did find him funny. He feeling of boredom had completely disappeared. Looks like the French were good entertainers also.

She was about to answer him when he retracted his question, shrugging just a bit she figured he worked out the answer for himself or something. She laughed again at the end of his comment. Why didn't they keep the tri-wizard tournament last year when she was completely bummed out. Noel would have been great in cheering her up.
"Well we play exploding snaps or chess or run around the castle like mad people and torment our professors."

Emmy took 'The Complete Works of Oscar Wilde' out of her bag, and settled down on a sofa to read - the library seemed to be the only place where she could finally get some piece and quiet.
Tucking her legs up under her, she began to read 'The Importance of Being Earnest', and laughed softly.

Mark was looking for Emmy.
Naturally,the first place he went to was-the Library.At first,it seemed that she wasn't there,or at least he couldn't find her.But just when he was getting ready to quit and try to find her somewhere else,he heard a familiar sound.Someone's soft laugh.
Emmy.
She was there!Mark quickly made her way to her and coughed quietly.
"Hello there",he said slowly trying not to scare her.

Emmy pricked her ears up, as she detected footsteps approaching, then she heard a familiar voice quite close to her. She turned round sharply, smiling broadly, and gave him a huge hug.
"Mark! You've no idea how much I've missed you! Where've you been?"

Mark hugged her back and sat next to her.
"Oh,it's a pretty long story...",he sighed.My dad was sick,he spent few months at St.Mungo's.He's good now,though.It doesn't matter anymore.What's going on here?To be honest,I really,really missed you too Emmy",he said smiling.

Emmy put her hand on his arm, saying, "You poor thing - I know exactly what you mean - my dad's ill, too..." she sighed a little, then blushed when he said he'd missed her, too.
"To be honest, not a huge amount - I mean obviously there's the Triwizard Tournament, but we still have loads of lessons and tons of homework! DADA was pretty cool though - Tate set up this huge game of magical paintball, but there were too many Slytherins!" she grumbled, then added quietly, "I had a couple of encounters with Ling, too."

Mark took her hand,listening silently.
"Oh,I see."Ling.Of course."So,how's it going between...you and him?Is he still mad or what?",Mark asked curiously.He needed to know.

Emmy squeezed his hand, and said, "Him? Absolutely mental - and pretty furious too! Um... He tried to get back together in the summer, but it didn't work out, and when we came back to school, I found out he'd been with another girl at the same time as trying to get me back, and then we had a pretty big fight, which culminated in him calling me a fake and a phoney - Merlin only knows why...! That boy is seriously disturbed. I think it's safe to say he won't bother us again!" Hopefully... she thought. She felt much happier and calmer, now that she'd spilled her heart out to Mark...

"Oh",Mark murmured."How's that even possible?!I mean,he was with another girl...And...Oh,Emmy that guy is really disturbed.But at the same time...This might sound...I don't know how to you,but I think that it's better now.We know the real Ling.And...Did he somehow hurt you?",he squeezed her hand back.

"Not physically, no, but I was upset at the time - but then, I kind of knew it was gonna happen before he did. It's weird. Anyway, I'm glad it's over - it was all getting too complicated, too tangled up, and I didn't really know what I was doing, so yeah, things are better now." she nudged him, grinning, "I'm glad you're back!"

Fee headed to the reading lounge.
In her hand she had a new thriller.
Yay time for some action.
She approached one of the comfy,velvet couches and sat down book on lap.

Adam was sitting on an armchair reading up on Quiddich so that he would be well prepared for his tryouts next year. he had to find that kid he met up at Diagon Alley- he could be good help for him. Adam glanced up when he heard some loud laughter but went back to his book. Peace

Ever-Lily strolled through the Library with Hogwarts, A History, and glanced around for a place to sit.
She saw an empty armchair beside a boy who was reading something about Quidditch. She immediately thought he was cool.
Slowly, she walked over and asked timidly, "Hi...could I sit there?"

"Go right ahead."Adam gestured to her. Another book nerd with a Hogwarts book. "You like Hogwarts, I can tell..."He pointed at the book.

She grinned proudly. "Love it! And I see you like Quidditch? You should try out for the Gryffindor team," she gestured towards his book and the Gryffindor crest on his robes. "Oh yeah, I'm Ever-Lily, Slytherin firstie, by the way. You can call me Ever if you want," she smiled.

"I like Ever-Lily better."Adam smiled at her. "I;m thinking of trying out for the Keeper next year. What about you will you try out or will you only watch the games? I'm Adam Burn."He shaked her hand

Hm...she hadn't really thought about that. Quidditch was fun to watch, but fun to play as well.
"I'm debating that..." she giggled. "I wouldn't know what position to try out for even if I did try out, I like them all."
"So, how are you liking Hogwarts so faR?" Ever-Lily asked casually.

Carmela walked through the rows of books. She picked up a few that looked interesting. One book was Hogwarts, A History. Mela had grabbed the book because she had wanted to learn more about her school.
She looked around for and open place to sit but most people where sitting with someone so she didn't want to interrupt. Giving up she opened one of the books and started reading, standing up.

"The area is pretty nice. I don't think I'll ever study here when I have a lake a forest a treehouse and a Quidditch pitch all as my front, back and side yard."Adam listed, now daydreaming about flying on a broom.

"True that," She sighed. She sat in silence for a couple moments, then said, "So, anything interesting happening lately?" She didn't know what she was talking about, but she had heard there had been a lot of drama with some students lately.

"Well I got detention a few days back, but that ended pretty fast....There's lots of drama with my girlfriend and best friend...Anyways, what about you, what have you been up to at this castle we call a magical school?"He asked in return."Do you have any crushes or anything?"What was Adam asking, that was private and personal he barely knew Ever-Lily and her the same with Adam.

Monique headed to the library. She tried reading in the dungeons, but the dim lights were hardly reading lights. Clutched in her hand was a copy of Hogwarts, A History which she borrowed from the History of Magic Professor. She looked around and spotted a place she assumed was a reading corner. Settling in a seat she opened the book and began reading.

Evan, with a few books about wizarding history, headed towards the reading corner of the library. There, sitting across an older girl, he made himself comfortable, and only then did he glance up at the face. It was one of the pretty French girls. He racked his brains to find a topic to talk about, forgetting all about the book he chose to read. Then, without giving it a second thought, he blurted out "Learning more about Hogwarts, eh?"

Oh. Fail.

Monique looked up and blinked twice. Oh, the snake boy must be talking to her. She had to try to hide her smile. She may not have succeeded. The kid was obviously nervous.

She had the effect on people.

"Oui." she said. "I am curious about the school..." Which really meant she was hoping there was information in the book about past tournaments.

"Oh, wow. What did you do to get detention?" She aked.

"Yeah, relationships are hard, I understand..." She smiled at Adam's next question. "I haven't been up to much...just roaming around, attempting to study, goofing around with my new friends and stuff."

Ah, yes. Now they were getting to the good stuff. "Hehe, I wish! I've only met three boys now, including you. And one of them is much older than me." She laughed at her hopelessness. It seemed all of her friends had boyfriends except her and Fee.

"So, how did you discover you were a wizard? Like, what magic did you first do?" Ever-Lily asked. Nice conversation starter. The answers were always interesting.
