The feast had finished, so Sarah, Lori and Cedric had ushered the new students down through the entrance hall and along the corridor towards the Hufflepuff common room, including Brielle. Sarah had hung near the back so not to get in the way of people entering while she chatted to the Beauxbaton student.

"The kitchens are just down the end there," she smiled, pointing past the throng at the entrance to where the house elves hung out and worked, just behind the tickly pear painting. "I'm sure the house elves wouldn't mind preparing you something a little lighter if you asked them, they're very accommodating." Tucking a piece of hair behind her ear, she held out her other arm to guide Brielle in the direction of their actual destination.

"And this," she nodded, gesturing to the portrait which had swung shut now all the other students were inside. "Is where we enter the Hufflepuff common room. Shall we?" she asked, turning and muttering the password, before holding it open for Brielle to enter.

Okay, so Jimbo is a very greedy boy. As if that was NEWS. Pssht. Classes haven't even started and Jimbo was already heading down to the kitchens for extra food, as per usual. The poor house elves probably didn't want to see him again. Probably dreading the moment he would pass through the kitchen doors. Either that, or they were eagerly awaiting his arrival. He still wasn't sure how it is that they felt about him.

Soooo, here he was skipping merrily along. Although he really did hope no one saw him. He hated coming across people when he was on his way to the kitchens. Made him feel like a fatty. And it made him feel like they've discovered a great big secret of his. And he didn't like that feeling.

Sapphinelle walked toward the Kitchens hoping to sneak something, maybe something vegetarian? They didn't have many vegetarian options at the feast. She spotted peeing turtle-owner boy and laughed at him jokingly. "Heyyy, you're that guy with the peeing turtle!" she said happily to him.

Leilani wandered down here, starting her personal tour of the castle. What?! It was a big castle!! Sheesh. Oh and look, it was Mister "Dont kick my head again or I'll leave". It had worked though, so she supposed that counted for something.

Now see, she was about to go jump up on his back and surprise him... Buuuut, then she saw the firstie *shudder* weirdo firsties. And that one looked familiar. Oh great, it was probobly one of the little diva children she saw at Scribbilus.

That right there gave her reason enough to turn around and go somewhere else. Unfortunatley, Jimbo had probobly already seen her. And if her hadn't, the firstie had. Ugh, stupid people.

Nuuuuuuu, SPOTTED! Leilani saw him and he saw Leilani and they all saw each other. It was madness.

Running over to Lani, he grabbed her by the hand and hid around the corner. "Leilani! What are you doooinnnggg?" Seriously, if anyone were to find him, he was glad it was Leilani. As opposed to...well anyone else, really.
And since Leilani was all new to the place and everything - okay, not THAT new, but still - she might not know about the kitchen. Maybe as a friend, he should let her in on his secret. But that migth mean finding her down here more often.

Eh, whatever. It's Leilani. He probably wouldn't mind her company anyway.

GAAAAAAAH!!! He did see her!!

She squeeled in surprise. "Uh, well I'm just, erm, touring the castle." What was down here anyways? Hufflepuff common room wasn't it? Hmm, she seemed to remember something about that.

Leilani didn't want to tell him that she hadn't been down here before. Now that would just be down right embarassing. Seriously, she'd been here for a whole year already and she hadn't been down here. Actually, there were lots of places she hadn't been but that's besides the point.

She fidgeted nervously with the hem of her skirt. Hopefully Jimbo was too distracted to bring up Kale (though she wouldn't have put it past him). Yeah, that was one conversation she didn't feel like having.

"Oh. Well, have you been down here before? Do you know about the kitchens?" If not, he would have to shooooow herr.

Speaking of, he was really getting hungry. They should hurry this little conversation up so they could get into the kitchens and eat their little hearts out. They had the best cupcakes, Jimbo should know.

Speaking of cupcakes, Monty and him never got around to making more of those buttercream cupcakes. Shame, it might not ever happen especially considering how things were with Monty at the moment. Although making those cupcakes really would have been great. Maybe it's not unlikely...hopefully not.

Brielle couldn't help it, but she left a little out of place. Her blue school uniform stood out like a sor thumb amongst the black and yellow that surrounded her. However the kind smile of the Hufflepuff head girl, made her feel instantly more welcome.
"C'est Genial!" Brielle nodded, pleased that her dietry requirements could be easily taken care of, and Noel was also an option. "I must zay conzidering ve are at zese bottom of zese school, t'is still rather room, and bright." The Beauxbaton commented as her heels echoed through the large corridors.

Brielle couldn't help but let the butterflies filled her stomach, as she saw the entrance to her home away from home. "Iz zere a password, or do I just walk at ze wall. In Beauxbatons were 'ave painting that are actually just illusions, and one can walk right through!" She grinned.

Genial? Sarah mentally kicked herself for her lack of French knowledge, but she did figure it was something good, with Brielle nodding at her. "Oh yes, it's much brighter than you'd expect this area of a castle to be," Sarah grinned, glad that she could comment without getting it wrong and feeling silly. "Although the dungeons are a little dark, but we don't really need to worry about that until lessons start. Are you taking part in them?" She asked, quickening her pace to keep up. Even with heels on Brielle was more brisk, and Sarah was only short, with little legs. Always a pain that was.

And here they were. The entrance. And her companion looked happy. Mirroring her grin, Sarah nodded. "Yeah, it's password protected. I think it's to stop other people entering without permission. This term it's...flippityjibbit...as far as I know. Let's see..." Stepping forward, a quite muttering of the word sent the painting swinging outward. Holding it back for the Beauxbaton to enter, Sarah suddenly cottoned on to what Brielle had said before. "You can walk through your paintings?!" Mouth drop. Okay, not entirely surprising, seeing as they were just about to do that. But going through the ACTUAL painting was different. Illusions? "That sounds very cool," she grinned.

Leilani shook her head, embarresed. "Nope." WAIT?! The KITCHENS were down here?! Huh. And she'd just thought it was the Hufflepuff common room. Hmm, well she supposed the food had to come from somewhere.

Realizing this, Leilani practically jumped. "Wait?! So you came down here to get food?!" :O "You can cone down here to get food?!?!" She kinda figured it wasn't allowed. Seriously, this wasn't the kind of thing teachers taught you in class. Hmmm...

OMIGOODNESS THAT MEANT THEY HAD NOODLES!! And even better than that, sugar!! And more specifically, CHOCOLATE!! Wow, didn't she just feel foolish then. It looked like she'd probobly bought all that candy for nothing. Oh well, she could still eat it.

Ahahaa, he MUST show her now. Looking around carefully, Jimbo grabbed her by the arm and pulled her toward the portrait of the fruit. As they stood facing it, Jimbo answered her question.

"Yes, food. Food, dessert and such. Unfortunately, they don't really have candy...not entirely. It's only the sort of stuff that they would give at the feast, you know? That's why I keep my stash."

He lifted his hand to tickle the pear and turned the doorknob when it showed. Opening the door to the kitchens, he bowed like a gentleman and said, "After you, madame."

Epic!fail oh well, that meant they still had noodles. And most likely other forms of sugar... Like cake... SQUEEEEEE!!!

Leilani's jaw fell as the portrait opened. She couldn't stop herself from saying, "Woah." This was bananas. Hmm, mabey she'd have one of those too. Bananas were good.

Shocked at the fact that Jimbo was acting like he had manners, Lani stepped ahead and through the door. Oh yes, this was bananas.

"Classes? Oui, I sahll be attending....welll ze ones I want too, zere are some classes, that are not really my zing." Brielle smiled, there was no way she was going to be doing Arthimancy.....the only numbers she liked to know was the pirce of her clothes, and even then she didn't really care.

As the painting swung open, the girl laughed at the Head Girls password, "Zat sounds like it is going to be rather 'ard for me to zay! vlipp-d-jabert...vippa.....jaberrrrr....perhaps I will just wait 'ere till someone comes along!" Some one would be sure to help her no?

Stepping through the hole, Brielle was excited.

Brittany stepped out of the Huffie common room excitedly with Mike in tow. She had been dying to see the inside of the kitchens and meet the elves but now she had an actual excuse to. Luckily their common room was right down the hall from the kitchens she had scopped it out earlier. "Are you excited to meet the elves." she said turning towards mike behind her since they were no longer holding hands. It was kinda hard getting out with another person linked to you hehe

"Yea i was told to get in we have to find a pear and tickle it do you see one"

"Yes its on a painting." she said smiling. She was a little putoff for a while because she had walked past it so many times without noticing it but then she just brushed it off because she was happy she found it. She also took this time with just the two off them to ask mike questions. "so how are you and enya doing. I havent seen you two together lately?" she asked rather curiously

" I dont know, and i afraid to make it look like I am chasing after her ,but i do hope she showes up for this lil get together. by the way you have to invite her the

waiit whaaaa?? It was true that she knew who Enya was and they even have spoken but they were far from being aquainted enough for Brittany to be the one to invite her. "Uh Mike I dont know if i can do that." she said nervously. She knew how much it meant to him for her to be there but she just wasnt up to the task.

"how hard Me Michael Em and some of the outher puff's are having a picnic/bonfire you shoul come. and you said i make things hard .....Geees flinching and waiting on the punch

Brittany glared at mike for a long time. She had to admit she was thinking about punching him again. Third times the charm right??? she sighed. "Oh Alright Mikey, I may do it....Ifffff I just happen to run into her." But she was hoping it was a big if. Gosh those two were gonna drive her Bonkers before the end of the term

"Ugh, I don't know if we'll ever find it!" They had been looking forever for the kitchen entrance on the floor that they assumed housed the kitchen.
A boy was walking around the corridor toward a painting of a bowl of fruit. Quickly, Liz pulled herself and Pam behind it. She watched as the boy looked around for any sign of people watching him, and... tickled the pear? The pear gave a squeaky giggle and the portrait opened up, revealing an entrance. The boy climbed in, and the portrait shut.
"Did you see that too?" Liz asked Pam. She wasn't sure about what she had seen

"How are we-" she was pulled behind a wall before she could finish her sentecne. The boy tickled the pear?

"Yea, I saw. Let's go." She pulled Liz over to the picture, and tickled the pear. It gave a giggle, and opened. They walked through.

"Good, so I'm not crazy," said Liz as Pam tickled the pear. There was that cute little giggle and they were in!

Eirian stood outside the 'Puff Headquarters, watching all the 'puffers go by. Why did they get the cool Durmstrang students? For Merlin's sake, she had to share a room with the prissy prissy princesses of Beauxbatons Castle for the Prissy Priss-pusses, while the 'puffers, for Merlin's sake, got the cool school? This just wasn't fair. She'd sit here until she found a Durmstrang, Merlin dammit! And then they'd be friends... because being foreign wasn't cool anymore. Tough break for Hogwarts' resident Brazilian, right?
