"I didn't say you did it hard. But jostle, shake - the difference is?" Sarah really didn't mean to upset him, she thought it was a reasonable observation. Raising her eyebrows at him, she shook her head gently. This probably wasn't the time to having a conversation about jostling.
Plus the fact, Wesley was starting to worry her even more...
Over Wesley's shoulder, and through her own tears, Sarah could just make out the shape of the boy she'd been discussing shoulders with. Frowning at him, she nodded her head at his little comment. She didn't quite know what he had told her, but best just to go with it.
"Well, shaking implies I, like, grabbed her and flailed her about. But since I only jostled, it's more of a cajoling series of faint nudges," Alex explained, not quite understanding that this was neither the time nor the place.
When he got a charming frown from the Head Girl, Alex nodded solemnly with serious eyes, before cupping his hands around his mouth and mouthing widely, 'Told ya!'
Okay, so maybe he was just trying to inject some humour into the situation by this point.

Yeah.
Time to diffuse... something. Alex grinned stupidly and offered the Prefect a double thumbs up.
Did you get that?
Double. Thumbs. Up.

She knew it wasn't a good suggestion. She wanted Sarah and Lori to do well, not fail. And, the idea of them all being fifty-something-year-olds among tweens and young adults, well, even Wesley had to admit was a little rediculous. Besides, the tests were over, and the fifth year just knew Sarah and Lori had done terrific. They would graduate for sure. And she couldn't stop them.
But the handkerchief wasn't there. In her distress, the Hufflepuff had forgotten to slip one in. Wesley's bottom lip wobbled. She couldn't even remember the last time she'd been without a spair tissue. Not in the last 3 years, at least. Today was just, not a good day.

Alex had the feeling he was digging himself into an even deeper hole. "The time comes where everyone must leave Hogwarts, but you'll still see everyone. Then you come back here and it'll be awesome and you can owl people and have friends here. I've been in your situation loads of times. You'll get through, kid."
He tried to give the girl an encouraging smile as he drew his wand. The young man wordlessly conjured up a handkerchief, before passing it to Wesley. It was a fancy one, too, with her name embroidered on the corner in gold stitching. As if to say 'I didn't flunk because I don't know magic'.
Eyeing everyone else, Alex waved his wand a few more times, conjuring up three handkerchiefs. 'Prefect', 'Head Girl', and 'Trixie?'.
He thought that was her name. She could change it later should she need to.
With another wave of his wand, the handkerchiefs flew out to each girl.
There. Now they all had their own snot rag.

Turning her head at their French visitor, she smiled warmly and nodded towards a goblet in the middle of the table. "Brielle would you mind passing me that, please? I think Wesley needs something to drink." And as soon as everything was okayy, they could sit and chat. Yes.
It wasn't till Brielle heard her name being called by Sarah that she realised the outpouring of grief and woe that surrounded, her.
Listening to the others talk of how much they would miss one anyone, Brielle couldn't help but long for the fun times that had been had both at Beauxbatons and here at Hogwarts, Seven years of schooling were over, she was off into the big wide words.
Looking at the jug Sarah had asked her to pass, Brielle realised that her eyes were welling up. Blinking back any tears, she passed the jug to the Head Girl, a smile of forever-friendship written on her lips, "'Ere you are!"
Brielle smiled as others joined the table, some she had been close with, others whom she had met only briefly but all students who had made her year so pleasent!
The french girl gave, Lori I know wink as she joined the table. It was a wink that said, 'wait for my owl, you will love zhopping in Paris, it will be ze bezt zhopping trip of your life'...........it was a very long wink.

"Did you two have as good a term as I did?" he half-joked as a conversation starter. "Good term for Hufflepuff too, since we actually didn't come in last place in the House Points race." For once.
The Beauxbatons student, grinned from ear to ear, as the Undefeated Champion of Hogwarts spoke to her, "I 'ave 'ad a fabulouz term!" she laughed, "Regardlezz of whezzer or not I made it all ze way!"
It was true, Brielle had been angry at first for missing out on Task two and Three, but now she was over it, she was too happy for Fletcher, Noel and the others to care!
"It haz been great getting to know you, Monsieur Glitterpuff!"
Rene walked into wearing a pair of jeans and a very pretty shirt. Her outfit was just right for the End of term ball and she was kind of sad to be going home soon, but glad to be seeing her family. Seating at the table. She looked down the table and she didnt see any of her friends, though she did see some of the people in her classes. She waved at a few.
"I'mmanawdea," the Hufflepuff managed to say through a mouthful of tears and messed up hair, nodding her head up and down. She tried to laugh, but it came out like she was choking.
"Y-you c-could f-flunk your N-N-NEWTS, and r-retake y-your s-seventh year. Wesley hugged the two girls tighter, as if by doing so she could stop time and keep them close forever.
"M-me, too, T-tall!K-kid. I-I'll miss y-you too," she replied to Lori. Wesley knew it was the truth; she could feel it under her ribbones, in the little cave where her crushed up, ripped-open heart lived. She was missing Lori already, and school wasn't even over.
"Promise?" Wesley asked, looking up at Sarah through blurry eyes, only to see the older girl crying.
Oh no, no, no. "Sarah - d-don't cry!" she pleaded, reaching a hand towards her in a poor attempt to wipe off her wet cheeks. Handkerchief! Where were Wesley's handkerchiefs? The short Hufflepuff fumbled for her pockets, only to realize her robe was, as it had been for quite some time, inside out. Detangling from the hug around the same time as Sarah pulled away, Wesley brushed back her tangled hair and pulled her robe off, flipping it around and digging inside her pocket.
But the handkerchief wasn't there. In her distress, the Hufflepuff had forgotten to slip one in. Wesley's bottom lip wobbled. She couldn't even remember the last time she'd been without a spair tissue. Not in the last 3 years, at least. Today was just, not a good day.

Blink.
Blink.
Blink.
Sarah had no clue what had just come out of Wesley's mouth, but it was accompanied by nodding so it must have been something good. Although choking wasn't - if that's what she was doing. Patting her friend on the back a bit harder, in case a piece of food was lodged or something, Sarah smiled warmly at the little 'Puff. It was all she could do, as the words forming from her made no sense at all. The only thing she understood was 'fail' and 'NEWTS', and truth be told, that wasn't really out of the question. She was very worried about that.
But the hug that Wesley was giving them was very comforting, even if they were all getting rather wet with tears in the process. And when asked if she promised, Sarah didn't even hesitate with her reply. "I promise with all my heart."Sob. Don't cry? Ohhh, Wes, if only it were that easy. "I'm alright," she sighed, closing her eyes and smiling when Wesley wiped away a tear.
Watching her fumble around for - whatever it was she was looking for - made Sarah realise even more how much she was going to miss being around her most of the year. She may have been sixteen, but the girl was always going to be 'Little Wesley' to Sarah. And it made her smile through the tears.

O____o This kid was weird. And he caused Sarah to scrunch her face up and give him THE stare. You know. The mega confused why-are-we-talking-about-this? look. "Alrighty then. I'm sorry for getting it wrong?" Yes that was more a question, because honestly, she had no idea what was going on anymore. But his little gesture did make her snort - at just the wrong time. Face!Palm.
And then he blathered on to Wesley about NEWTS and....other stuff. Which, when Sarah really thought about it, was the kinda thing she wanted to say, but was too upset to. He was talking sense. And THAT ladies and gentlemen, shocked her. Given their starting conversation anyway. "He's right, Wes," she nodded. Surprisingly. And good at conjuring as well. Sarah smiled, and took the hanky he had just produced, looking down at the Head Girl writing on it. That was kind of sweet, she thought, wiping her damp eyes with it. "Thank you," she said, simply.

Awww, Brielle. She looked so alone on the other side of the table, with them all crying among themselves. She would have to be included in the conversation.
"Thank you," Sarah smiled, eyes sparkling with tears and gratitude, as she took the jug and poured some out. She passed the freshly filled goblet back towards the French girl with a nod. "Wesley said she didn't need it now, but you look like you might." Placing it down on the table within reach of her, Sarah crossed her arms and rest her head on one hand. "I'm going to miss you, Brielle. It was wonderful having you in this house. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did."
Fletcher didn't wanna go to the feast, because going to the feast meant admitting that his BEST YEAR EVER was over and that he would no longer be like... important anymore. He would no longer get to be THE Champion, or at least, the school year would no longer revolve around him and his amazing deeds, and besides all those selfish reasons...
He really didn't want all the graduating people and his new friends and fellow champions to leave.
So it was with a small sigh that Fletcher dragged himself to the feast and plunked himself down between two pretty girls. Good seat, great view, but not if he looked down the table a little ways. There was a sobbing child just sitting there, weirdly enough, being comforted by people.
Poor thing. It was best if he just... did not go over there since she already had a crowd. Instead, Fletcher turned toward Brielle and Melanie, looking between them with a smile. New friend and old friend, right?
"Did you two have as good a term as I did?" he half-joked as a conversation starter. "Good term for Hufflepuff too, since we actually didn't come in last place in the House Points race." For once.
Perhaps staring down the door had worked, for only a few minutes after she started gazing at it one of her favorite 'puffs arrived. "I highly doubt that." Melanie replied, grinning up at Fletcher as he took a seat beside her. After all, he had won the Triwizard Tournament and, in turn the prize of a lot of money and glory. That was kinda hard to beat, no? "I think it was my best term yet, though. No flooding, no killers..." Nothing too disastrous had happened at Hogwarts. That alone made it a great term, but there were other things that made it even better, like the Triwizard Tournament. "If only we had quidditch." Then the term would have been perfect...
"I don't want the term to end." Meanie said suddenly. "I mean, summer is depressing. It's nice not having homework for a few days and then it gets boring." she complained, frowning slightly.
Dragging her gaze away from the Slytherin table to face the voice that had spoken beside her, Mia gave the Gryffindor a smile. "I'm good thank you, Rex. How are you?"
She let out a small chuckle. "Well I am not a very good dancer so it was probably good for you that we didn't dance." In more ways than one she thought.
"Oh yes it went very fast." Mia shifted in her seat slightly so that she was facing Rex. "What are you plans for the summer?"
" I am fine" Rex told Mia. "Well, I bet you are a better dancing than you know" Rex said to Mia. " My plans are to be hanging out at Jason Potter Weasley's castle for the summer" Rex explained to Mia. " I just remembered that Jason told me I could ask any of my freinds over there for the summer, the holidays, etc, how wold you like to hang out there for the summer?" Rex asked Mia.
You lot know who you are, and you know I love you <333

"For both of you" she answered Lori's question quickly, glancing momentarily at them both before looking at her feet. Yeah the present was stupid but still, she wanted to give them something. "I erm.. I wanted to thank you, for being such good friends these past 2 years...." she started but ended up swallowing half way through. "And I'm really bad at buying anything that actually means something.." Unless it meant buying Oliver lightsabers, that wasn't really hard. "So I made you one of these each" she passed out two bracelets, hand woven but with a small four leaf clover charm, which obviously she didn't make, that would have been a little too hard. But the actual bracelet was her own handiwork. "They're for Good Luck" she finished, looking down at her feet once again.

Why did these situations have to be so hard?....So - neck-crunching? Reaching across as they were both hugged by Wesley, Sarah gripped Lori on the shoulder and smiled weakly at her. "We'll get through this," she whispered.
From her perching position, Sarah looked back and forth between Lori and Trixie as the brunette spoke to her as well. She was so totally wishing she had bought presents now.
Wiping her eye with the sleeve of her robe, Sarah sniffed and blinked at Trixie. She had something for them both? Awww, this day just got worse and worse. Not that a present was bad - that was the sweetest thing ever - it was the fact she knew it was going to make her bawl like a baby in front of everyone.
"Oh Trixie," Sarah smiled, reaching up and rubbing her on the arm. "You've been a great friend for us too, right Lori?" Looking across at her fellow 'Puff, her attention was drawn back though, when the Slytherin continued to talk.
"Oh my goodness..." She was actually speechless for the first time in a long time. A bracelet. A beautiful bracelet. Bottom lip wibbling, Sarah put her hand forward and took her gift from Trixie, examining it, before slipping it onto her wrist. "It's beautiful. THANK YOU!" Now it was her turn to fling herself forward and hug someone. Gripping Trixie around the neck, Sarah sobbed into her shoulder. "I'm going to miss you. I'm going to miss so much about this place and the people...and my friends who are staying. It's not fair." Not. Bloody. Fair.

Shaking her head, loosing her untied tie in the motion, the Hufflepuff looked up and watched the scene unfold. Wesley had never seen the Slytherin girl before, and yet, she felt like she knew her. In her red eyes and sad smile, her shy offering, Wesley understood, connected by mutual sorrow.
She liked the girl - and her creativity. Any guilt over having not prepared a present (and, Merlin knows, there was a lot of it) was overpowered by the appreciation of what this older student offered. It was more than the pretty little gift, it was the love she gave with it. And as hard as it was to listen to Sarah sob, Wesley remained seated, determined not to ruin the moment.
Instead, she turned to looked at the boy and gave him a sad, but never-the-less friendly, smile. Maybe he had a handkerchief.

Ah, Brielle. She was so adorable, actually. She really was. And that wink, ohhh, Lori knew what that meant; and nodded in response. "I'll miss you." She mouthed, deciding not to say it outloud to alert anyone else to the emotions she was covering up. Saying it aloud meant... well it meant the worst.
What did he just DO?! Did he just GRIN, and give her TWO thumbs up. At this time?! At this distraught, disasterous -- HE WAS PURE EVIL! "... You deserve a slap." The brunette scowled as she turned her attention back to Wesley with a frown before speaking up at him. "Do you not know what time it is? How thin the layer is on my emotions? Don't give me a double thumbs up and a grin, I'd much prefer a hug, thank you very much." Yep. Hugs were nice, and they were pretty and gave reason to cry. They really did.
OH THANK MERLIN! WESLEY WAS ALIVE! SHE WAS REACTING! PHEWWWWW.
The hug between Lori, Sarah and Wesley was probably the most important hug Lorelai had found herself a part of, and she was now sobbing. The thing was, really.. all this term, in her common room, all she'd had was Sarah and Wesley, then Brielle whenever Lori caught her. But she'd known Sarah and Wesley, and knew they both missed Miranda like she did. They'd became what you could call, Miranda-Messengers. They'd talk about her, what they missed and stuff.
It was all so emotional.
Then when Trixie joined them all there, Lori had hastened to use the hanky the male kid person had conjoured, and wibbled as she read what was embroidered on it. She was a prefect still, wan't she? Or did... like.. had she lost that title now that she was graduating? Oh. Merlin. She was so keeping this forever. "Th.. Thanks, kid." She hyperventilated her response, and caught the end of Trixie's speech thing, and took the present in her hands, before wailing again, turning to squish Trixie and sob onto her shoulder.
"I.. It's BEAUTIFUUUUUUUUUUUL." And she loved it, but now she was crying, and there wasn't much she could do about it.
"I don't want the term to end." Meanie said suddenly. "I mean, summer is depressing. It's nice not having homework for a few days and then it gets boring." she complained, frowning slightly.
He was arriving late, because he was super awesome like that, and he could totally rock being late, especially when he could intrude into people's conversations.
He sighed as he took a seat and gave Melanie a look. A LOOK! "You have to cheer up, you'll bring everyone down" he said, shaking his head, and he could see that plenty of people were sort of sad already, yeah, the LEAVERS. Thank goodness the glitter one was off Hogwarts.
"I think I liked you better when you were Silent Lockhart" he added, eying his goblet, which was only filled with water, he didn't need to drink anything else. "Maybe you just need to do something fun, that's all, get out and explore the world" even if it only means walking a couple miles.
lol, we need him around whenever she's being pouty...

Well.
Leave it to Treyen to speak his mind.
"I wasn't even talking to you." she pointed out halfheartedly, returning his look with a reproachful one of her own. She knew the younger boy was right, and that she was being unnecessarily grumpy, but it wasn't like she was going to admit it. "And I've never been Silent Lockhart. You keep calling me that and see what happens." Mhmm, that was an empty threat, obviously.
She didn't mean to be so grumpy. Melanie just... happened to be at the moment. "Maybe." she replied simply, her words coming out a little more cheerfully. "Maybe I should buy a flying elephant an travel the world." Maaaaybe.

He could sooooo gasp right now! But instead, he narrowed his eyes, "You don't control who hears you when you speak, and I am free to comment on whatever I want" yes, he was slightly hurt by those words, the ones that left Melanie's mouth, poor boy. "Especially since I'm concerned about other people" because truth be told, they didn't need someone bringing down the whole table.
Dramatic.
But then he smirked, "Oh, I beg to differ, and I believe Tiberius would agree with me..." his face held a sad expression all of the sudden, "...if he was still here" yeah, he wasn't. He'd left. So, since he's no longer here, then it's his word against Melanie. It was a battle no one would ever win, really.
Er, what? "Flying elephants don't exist, but good for you and your use of imagination!" yes, he was still hurt by that first comment, even if he did deserve it a bit, "I mean, I don't think they exist..." he started to say, in a more softer tone, "...because I've never seen one, but I've never seen a Thestral and I do know they exist...perhaps you should just use a hippogriff or a dragon" he'll go with the hippogriff, totally.

Bloody. Fair.

"Y-you c-could f-flunk your N-N-NEWTS, and r-retake y-your s-seventh year. A-and f-fail again, and then I-I could catchuptoyou, andwecouldbeseventhyearsforever," Wesley offered, stutter-sobbing before dropping into a fast mumbled response.

When he got a charming frown from the Head Girl, Alex nodded solemnly with serious eyes, before cupping his hands around his mouth and mouthing widely, 'Told ya!'
Okay, so maybe he was just trying to inject some humour into the situation by this point.
He was... probably getting a look right now.
Yeah.
Time to diffuse... something. Alex grinned stupidly and offered the Prefect a double thumbs up.
Did you get that?
Double. Thumbs. Up.
"I flunked my NEWTs!" Alex pointed out, maybe a little too brightly. He was trying to integrate himself into the conversation now, because... well... it didn't feel right to just sit there and watch and listen. "I could hang around with ya, Wesley... oh, but... no, actually, my dad will probably get me into work. But you know, it's too late to fail exams and anyway..." Alex had the feeling he was digging himself into an even deeper hole. "The time comes where everyone must leave Hogwarts, but you'll still see everyone. Maybe not everyday but maybe one day it will be like that. You've probably been this upset every last day of term, but you know that you do feel better. You have the whoooooooole summer to go, yet.

*Wibble*
Gaaaaaaaaah. Why did end of term have to be so tough? The Slytherin sighed… Like really sighed. But then she was passed Handkerchief so she grabbed it at first opportunity. She was about to use it but noticed her name had been embroidered on it. Oh that was cute. “Thanks” she smiled, albeit weakly at that guy who asked an awful lot of questions in Astronomy. She needed that, though she didn’t want to use it now, the gold stitching was all pretty and what not.
The seventeen year old looked over at the small kid in the situation, the one that she had yet to met yet. Though by the looks of it she was close to Sarah and Lori too. She gave her a smile, a gentle one, because she knew how she was feeling right now. Maybe the two should get to know each other in the new term. When there was no one else to talk to……
*Sob*
But then she had passed along the two presents and the corner of her mouth tilted down as she watched their reactions as they took them, but then lowered her head in slight fear of what they were gonna think of them. They weren’t the most expensive of gifts, but they were meant to mean a lot more than that anyway. They were from the heart and although that probably sounded incredibly cheesy, it was completely and utterly true.
She turned to Sarah first, who seemed to react to them the quickest. “I..It..It’s” oh gawd. Her eyes began filling with tears. “I wanted to get you something to remember me by…But something that actually meant something” her voice was shaky as she spoke. Then Sarah had flung herself forward to hug Trixie and the Slytherin returned the hug, clinging onto her. “I’m going to miss you so much too Sarah” her bottom lip was quivering completely. Why did SHE have to be left behind when everyone else was going? Why couldn’t she leave too? But people wouldn’t let her, she fully well knew that.
Then it was Lori’s turn, and she had practically exclaimed but ended up in tears. She grabbed hold of Lori and brought her into the hug too. Gah might as well just have one giant hug. “I’m.. I’m really glad you like it” she gulped. This was just horrible.
This was it. The end of her first year. She made it through it unharmed and happier then she thought wa possible. She made the best of friends she could possibly make and she had this knowledge that only certain people would ever attain. She loved her life at this moment. and although these happy thoughts were going through her head at the moment she still was a little sad because she had to leae her friends for a little while. She wa going back to the states and that would be really far away to see anyone over the summer *sigh*.
She walked oer to her house table and sat down at one of the vacant chairs
Emmaleigh headed to Great Hall a little later than every one else. She just couldn't stand the idea of leaving Hogwarts with out checking on the animals just one more time. The trip down towards Saylen's Hut had taken longer than she had expected, for she had to check on every one of the animals. Then she had to hurry back to the common room to pack. And that also had taken longer than she thought it would. She was missing so many articles of clothing, so she had to search the castle for the places that she had left them. The oddest thing she had lost was one of her shoes; she had managed to find it down by the lake. How it had gotten there, she did not know.

As she entered, she gazed down her house table looking for Michael and Brittney. Not seeing them, she frowned, and looked for someone else to sit by. The only person that she had really ever talked to was Melanie, and that was just for a little bit during the Muggle Studies baseball lesson. Emmaleigh headed over that way, and sat a little ways down, making sure to save two seats for her friends. Once she got situated, she greeted the older girl. "Hey Melanie," She said brightly, hoping the girl would remember her.

Just then, she saw Brit walk into the Great Hall, so she gave a little wave to let her know where she was sitting. "Hey Brit!" she said smiling at her best friend. "Can you believe that our first year is already over? It seems like it was just yesterday that I walked in here staring in amazement at the celling." Well, thinking about it, that did happen yesterday, so she added, "For the first time."
Brittany looked around the great hall to see if she saw any of her friends. She was being to think she ouldnt find anyone when her favorite red head came through the door in what seemed like a hurry. She giggled to herself and wondered what she had been up to. She was just about to call her over when she saw her turning toward another huffie. she then continued sitting silently waiting for her to finish talking and if she could she would get her attention because she really didnt want to be alone on the last day

But she didnt have to wait long because em spotted her on her own. "Hi" she said coming over towards her. "But i really cant believe its over already." she said taking a seat. "Im really going to iss hogwarts and you guys furing the summer." she said giving her friend a smile
"Yeah, yeah." was what she said to that. Again, Treyen was pretty much right. There wasn't really a point in arguing with him, was there? Clearly he was allowed to talk to anyone he wanted to and say whatever he wanted. "There's not really a need to be concerned, though. I'm not hurting anyone." Hopefully Fletcher would back her up here?
Tiberius...? Who was- ...Oh yeah. Tibi. That boy from Florean's. Melanie's expression softened a little at the sight of Treyen's downcast face. "Maybe he would agree with you." That was her horrible attempt to cheer him up. "I'm really not that quiet, but think what you want to. I don't mind that much. Not really." Eh. She was just saying that because he looked sad.
good for you and your use of imagination! What? "But, Dumbo..." Treyen just killed her childhood. She nodded at his next comment. Yes, they'd just never seen them! "It's possible." Totally was. As cliche as it might sound, anything is possible. Some things were just a lot more probable. For instance, the existence of thestrals, hippogriffs and dragons was a lot more likely than the existence of flying elephants. "I wouldn't want to use a dragon, though. They're dangerous." And scary. "I guess using a hippogriff or a thestral wouldn't be a so bad... probably easier to find than a flying elephant." However, in Melanie's opinion, they weren't nearly as awesome.

Aw, yay, one of the cute lil' firsties from the baseball lesson! Melanie smiled warmly at at the girl as she joined her, waving. "Hey Emmaleigh." she replied, pleased with herself for remembering her name... Melanie had never been good with names. "What's up?" she asked casually, peeking over at the other girl she was talking to and waving to her as well.
Aleksandra was full of mixed emotions as she entered the great hall for the last time. Her hazel eyes took in the room, eyes flicking up at the ceiling. She was slightly surprised that she was actually gonna miss this castle. A castle that could find nothing but faults with when she first arrived.
It was saddening that she hadn't got to spend her last year at Durmstrang with her favorite professors and friends, but at least she would get to see the castle once more. And it wasn't all depressing. Not only had she enjoyed herself at Hogwarts, she had made a few unexpected friends as well.
Speaking of friends, the eighteen year old spotted one of them at the Hufflepuff's table with a few other students. Deciding that she could speak with Danika and Noel later, she sauntered over to Fletcher, smoothing out her Durmstrang robes as she took a seat across from him. Nodding respectfully at the surrounding students in the process. "Fletcher," she gave him a soft smile, "Enjoy the term?"
Brittany looked around the great hall to see if she saw any of her friends. She was being to think she ouldnt find anyone when her favorite red head came through the door in what seemed like a hurry. Em smiled, "I think the only way to tell how much time has passed here at hogwarts is by how many bottles of ink you have used. I think I used like a bottle and a half, just on exams." Brittany's next statement made Em's smile faulter. She was so excited to be going home, and seeing her family and the farm that she really hadn't thought about missing Hogwarts or her friends. After all, she had spent more time with them than her own family this year. But the idea of not seeing Brit and Michael all summer. The little redhead did not like that at all. "Maybe we will see each other over the summer." Em suggested. "I mean, you've got to go to Diagon Alley some time right? We could meet up there if you like. Or, I'm sure my parents would let you come stay on the farm for a while." She was sure that they could work something out.
Em suddenly remembered that she had something for Brit. "I got you something," she said, pulling a small gift wrapped box out of her pocket, and handing it to Brit. Em waited expectantly for her to open it, and When Brit finally did, She found this.

Alex held back from saying 'you should be', because he seemed to have suddenly realised that all these females around him... kind of outnumbered him. And you NEVER wanted to be outnumbered by emotional females.
EVER.
But when she said he was right, Alex had to chip in. "He really is," the young man grinned and gave Sarah (see, he knew her name) a nod and a friendly smile when she thanked him. As if to say 'I'm not that bad at all'.

But maybe she was too busy to slap him. "I can do hugs as well... I'm leaving, too!" Alex put on the most puppy-dog-eyed, pitiful, youthful looking pouty face, before... well... his face went normal again. "I am open for hugs, though, if anyone needs them. In all seriousness, I am leaving too... I know how y'all are feeling."
He grinned at Lori when she thanked him, but when he was referred to as 'kid', his face went a little like -___-

Speaking of him "Where's mikey" she asked suddenly. She hadnt seen him since... well since the pair started dating.
"That sounds great!" Em exclaimed. "I've never been to america before. And just let me know when you visit Diagon Alley, so I know when to go down to London." she said grinning. She watched as Brit opened the box. The smile on Brit's face made Em's grow even bigger. "I got me one too, see." she said holding up her own bracelet. "And look what I got my grandmother to do to the charms." She took the charm and rubbed it between her fingers. As she did this, it let out a loud "Cock-a-doodle-doo!" That could be heard by those around.
At the Mention of Michael, Em shook her head. "I dunno, I haven't seen him all day. He's probably out with Bubba or still packing or something." She hoped he would make it to the feast though. But if not, she needed to have Halt sent him a note telling him where they intended to be on the train.
"Well you would lose that bet Rex because I know that I am a really bad dancer." The Gryffindor had obviously not seen her and Destiny on the dance floor at the ball. Somehow she didn't think anyone would forget their moves in a hurry.
As Rex spoke of his summer plans, Mia smiled but that smile soon turned into a small frown. "Oh I am sorry Rex but I already have plans for the summer but thanks for asking."

" Astually, I could teach you how to dance" Rex told Mis. " I have taught a few students at school how to dance" Rex smiled. " I have won a dew ballroom competetions at my young age and all you have to have is a good listening ear" Rex explained to Mia. "Well, no problem, you have the best summer" Rex said to Mia. " Bet you did not knoe I broke up eith Kay, did you?" Rex asked Mia.
"I more zan enjoyed it, I loved it!" Brielle smiled, taking the goblet from Sarah.
"You 'ave all made me feel zo welcome! You cannot believe what it felt like to arrive 'ere, 'aving left my friendz behind to finizh ze zchool year without me, zo zcared, zo worried about whezzer or not I 'ad made ze right decizion to come 'ere. But now I don't need to worry, for I 'ave finished with friends, zey may not be ze friendz I ztarted wiz I my firzt year, but true friendz all ze zame!" It was a bit of an outpour of affection, but hey it needed to be said.
With her piece said, Brielle smiled Sarah and looked up and down the table, trying to spot Nikolai, she had to say farewell to him as well.

"I will mizz you too!" Brielle mouthed back, to Lori, thought it was hard to do as she could not help but laugh at the silent conversation the two were having.
She was a keeper that one! A chic one, to be sure!

"It haz been great getting to know you, Monsieur Glitterpuff!"
"Glad to hear that," Fletcher said, turning toward Brielle as she was the first one to answer. He grinned and lightly patted Brielle on the shoulder. "Same to you, er, mademoiselle!"
Yeah he'd learned his lesson not to call people madame. "Got any good plans for post-graduation?" It was weird to think that he would be in her same shoes this time next year....

"Whoaaaa Hogwarts flooded? And... there were killers here?!" Fletcher's head swung around to Melanie. "Why did I miss that?!"
Daaaang. He had had fun with the Triwizard Tournament and all -- a LOT of fun, in fact -- but catching a killer or surviving a wicked flood would have been even cooler.
"Eh," he shrugged off Melanie's sudden bout of negativity. "My summer won't be boring." Now he'd just waaaaaait for her to ask why...... if she wasn't too busy talking to Treyen.
"Sup," he man-nodded to the young Puff, not saying more cos he was totally lost and not wanting to interrupt their weird convo about... invisible flying elephants or something.

"Fletcher," she gave him a soft smile, "Enjoy the term?"
...and in the meanwhile he had a happy distraction sitting across the table from him. "Sandraaaa!" Fletcher returned her smile with a more than happy grin. He leaned forward on the table, resting his elbows beside his place setting. "I enjoyed it immensely, as I was just telling Brielle and Mel here. And I'm looking forward to the summer even more."

Sapphinelle sat down by herself, sobbing. She was going to miss the HECK out of Kodes. She was going to jump to fourth year next year. She'd never see her friends anymore. It wouldn't be the same, all these sweet people, yet all younger then her. She was older; more mature. This wasn't a good Hogwarts start for her.
