Sylvie blinked slightly and shook her head. How could she have forgotten that she might have mentioned joining in with her students. The thought did sound ever so tempting, but what would the all her colleagues think if she did partake in such activities.

"I'm sure you and your friends will find a perfect time to do this. I'm sure the Mister Masterson has told you when you can do this. It does sound like a lot of fun and all."

The sixteen year old's smile faded a bit... "But I told Professor Lafay you were going.... So you have to....... Right?" It was HER idea! If Rae went through with her ideas She will... Eventually It definitely would not be surfing...

Of course the young snake would remember that she had mentioned how she would be interesting in surfing. It was clear this snakes were too smart for their own good. "Well, if you mentioned to Professor Lafay that I would be there and all, then I must be there." It was probably her own fault for putting such ideas in the heads of such impressionable students.

YESSSS!!! "AWESOME! So... When do you want to surf? I'm planning on making a trip to see professor Kingsley to kind out how to conjure a surfboard. Then the library to see about waves........ Destiny think the squid can make us waves.." Yeah, Rae was certainly going on and on.. That poor professor.

The sheer excited that the young snake was displaying made Sylvie smile. Maybe it wasn't a terrible idea to join her students, purely for safety reason of course. "My schedule is rather full, but if you and your friends pick a date, I'll be sure to come down and join you." She could always pull herself away from her office to do something fun. With her mention of Bartholomew Henry, she smiled again. "I'm sure if you ask Bartholomew nicely, he'll be happy to help out. He is rather nice if you are nice to him." She did have nice memories of the squid from her own time as a student.

Wait a second... "The squid can understand human talk?" Biggest discovery.... EVER. Cooooooooooool! "Is it one of those creatures that wont like you unless you bow to it first? Wait, he's underwater.. So do I have to go underwater.... Then bow?" What a mystery.. But if it worked then he can make waves!!!

Sylvie smirked slightly. She did really like this group of snakes she had the pleasure of teaching. They did so remind her of herself more and more. "I'm not completely sure if Bartholomew understands, but I like to think he can." Of course, it was always possible he did understand. She did like talking the squid and he did appear to listen, but than again she wasn't an expert of magical creatures or anything now. Sylvie tilted her head slightly and thought for a moment. It was after all nearing the end of the term now and there was still the costume ball to happen and all. "To be honest, it might be a tight schedule if we are to do it, but it's possible." she replied. It would be rather nice to do it soon, but that did require a lot of work and planning.
