Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Gobbledygook!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes!
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home! There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby! | |

Espresso is way better than coffee. "Want any?" she had asked again. "Lemme warn you. It is very bitter." she added.
"I too wish it had an ON OFF button." she said, sighing. "Alas, it doesn't!" she said. "Are you going to try out for Quidditch next year?" she asked.

It is a game where you hit a ball with a bat and run to what muggles call bases." she said. "A beater is really the same thing. You hit a ball towards other people." she said, smiling.
Ahh! The crazy eyebrow trick!! she thought. She laughed a sweet, cute laugh. "That is so crazy!" she said, smiling. "This school is crazy though." she said. "I fear that, in my clumsiness, I will fall off one of the staircases!" she said, shaking her head.
She leaned back into her chair, and pulled out her messy blond ponytail. She fingercombed her hair, and kept it down. She, then, snuggled up into the blanket.

Kurumi had been kind of zoning out during everyone's conversation. She had been having a moment with her cat and only came out of her daze when Sophia mentioned her name and then Adam said something abotu friend. She blinked a few times as Walnut let out a few soft meows as Kurumi had stopped petting her and she was not pleased with that. She noticed that both Sophia and Edmond were blushing a lot. Adam, still sitting next to her, looked a little flustered himself about something. She really needed to pay more attention...but it was nice to have bonded a little more with her cat. She leaned over and whispered into Sohpia's ear. "Are you blushing because of Edmond?" She really hoped that these two did not have a lot of drama like her other friends in relationships were.

Adam saw that Kurumi was watching Sophia and Edmond flirt over each other. he whipped out a small letter that he recieved back from his parents . Closely unfolding it he doubled over to see the slanted messy handwriting.
What was that all about?! Were his parents safe, did Alex trap them in some cellar? And who was this Alex and how can you get to know someone through the art of letters?
Adam hastily put the letter back in his pocket before anyone could ask him questions.

She looked to see if Adam was teasing her kitty, but instead found him reading a letter. Not wanting to be too nosey, she pretended not to notice until Adam had quickly shoved the letter back in his pocket. She leaned over and pretended to be resting her head on his shoulder. "Who was that from?" she asked as she continued to pet Walnut like nothing was going on. She even opened her DADA book for good measure. To anyone else, it looked like they were studying on the couch.

Edmond said, enthusiastically, "If you're smart then you can basically do want you want in your future." Yes brains could, but not lipstick and shoes, hehe.
Ed took the Espresso from her and said, "Thanks." with a kind smile. Taking a sip from the warm drink, he relaxed into the couch. Comfy.
Hmm, baseball. It sounded really interesting, but he found it kind of hard playing it without a broom or magic. Ed has grown up with magic and couldn't picture the world without it. "No magic, huh?" he asked, curiously. It wasn't to offend anyone, but the muggle world fascinated Edmond. Maybe he would ask Sophia if she could teach him about muggle things. That'd be awesome.
Edmond couldn't help but smile at her laugh, it was so innocent. "Don't worry, I won't let you fall." he grinned sheepishly, "I'll catch you." he said, flexing his 'muscles'.

Heather entered the common room, one hand (her long robe sleeves hiding her hand) resting on her forehead and the other carrying the presents brought to her by her friends. in truth she had been trying to hide the swollen bump on her head and quickly walked in, hoping to get in the dormitory and hide her face under her sheets. It was embarrassing enough she ran into a wall head first during her DADA class, but at least the nice nurse in the hospital wing told her that the bump would most likely be gone in two days. until then, heather needs to work on hiding the bump beneath her bangs, but it seemed difficult. Does this mean, she had to find some scissors and cut her hair again just to hide it? Cass would definitely scold her again if she did that as well as her parents.
she just hoped kurumi would be in the common room or in the dormitories. she hoped she did not worry Kurumi too much-and that she'll have to meet up with katie and Cass tomorrow so they won't be too worried too much as well. After all, she did see katie and kurumi's gifts to her when she woke up in the hospital wing. The two must have dropped by for a visit (and cass obviously was the one who brought her in.)

Kurumi was momentarily distracted from Adam's mysterious letter when she saw Heather the common room. She immediately jumped to her feet, which both upset Walnut and made her off balance as she had wrapped herself up in her blanket like a burrito, and hopped her way over to Heather. " Heather!" she cheered trying to hug her friend but couldn't get her arms out from under the blanket. " I've been so worried about you! I came to visit you, but you were passed out." She could feel the tears starting to form in her eyes.

she wanted to tell kurumi about her love to also play (as much as she knows how on )violin and guitar, but most especially a melodica (it looks like a toy!) but hearing the concern on her friend's voice, she decided to just smile and keep it until another day. Besides, she wants to hear kurumi play the piano. she'll have to ask kurumi to go to the room of requirement with her soon.
"i'll go up the common room then. i'll see you and adam in the morning." she said, waving a hand at adam and huggng kurumi. "good night!" she said and went up to the dorms. she had to admit, she wasn't sleepy at all, due to the fact that she had slept almost an entire day in the hospital wing because she passed out, but it would be a lovely idea to sit on the warm and comfy bed and be under its warm sheets that seemed gigantic to such a petite girl like her.

My mum sent me there when I was seven, so her new boyfriend wouldn't know I was a witch. Nasty place. Full of snobby kids." She scrunched her nose up, like they were a bad smell, then shook her head. "It was a good education though. They got us reading Shakespeare at the age of 9." She shuddered playfully, then smiled at him to show she was joking. She loved Shakespeare really.

Rubiey nodded sadly. "Yeah, I sure hope so. I kinda miss Gabilan; he's been like my lifeline this summer." She smiled.
