There! Hah.

Ellie sprung up from her seat and flew the door open quite noisily. "Nia! In here!" The young girl grabbed her friend by the wrist and started to tug her into the compartment. Nia obviously had nothing better to do.

Nia had barely stepped into the corridor, when an adjacent door flew open and someone shouted her name. There was barely time to register who or what or where or how, as she was suddenly being tugged through said door arm first.

Huh?!

The tugging turned into stumbling, and then she landed headfirst on one of the seats with an 'Oomph!'. She'd seen the colour of the hair though, and that could probably mean only one thing.

"Hello to you too, Ellie," she said with a chuckle and a rub of her head.

He smelled her shampoo before anything. Strawberries. He looked up from his comic thinking she had walked past his compartment. He was surprised to see Selena sitting across from him. He placed his comic on the seat beside him. "Fancy meeting you here," he said.

Once Ellie had gotten them into the compartment, she'd let go of the hand and went to take a seat. Except...she didn't quite make it to sitting down. Nia had fallen. Heh. Whoops.

Her hands had cupped over her mouth as she watched. "Oh, are you okay? Sorry.." Err.. Whoops?

She supposed she was alright, though, as she talking. So moving on...to... Hmm.. It was only now that Ellie hadn't really thought through as to what she would do once she'd gotten Nia. She'd just worked out that she wanted to see her. And sit with her. And.. well... now what? "Morning."

Yeah...

Selena smiled and waved. "Yeah, it's nice to see you too," she smirked. He was surprised! Yes! Selena was awesome. Oh gosh, maybe she had a bit too much sugar before the train ride back... just a little. "I missed you at the feast so I thought I might find you here," Selena explained. Besides, she was looking for people she knew, not people who scared her. Yup.

Pushing herself up off the seat, Nia nodded with a laugh. "Nothing broken, so it's all good."

Brushing off her jeans, Nia stood up, before taking the seat in the usual way. With her bottom on it, and feet firmly on the floor. "Do you usually greet people like that on trains?" Nia asked her, a bemused expression on her face. "Or was that one reserved especially for me?"

Either way, it had definitely cheered her up. She'd been dreading seeing Ellie or JD or any of the others on the train, for fear of teary goodbyes. Last year with Becca had been bad enough. She wasn't sure if she'd cope with a whole Quidditch teams' worth.

Good. There was no healer on the train, after all. That she knew of. And, thinking of it...it would probably be a smart thing. Oh well.

"Oh no, just you." Ellie grinned. That would just be weird.

Uhm...yeah, so..."Chocolate frog?" she asked, though making no indication of offering.

Neptune put her feet ON Finny. They were PERFECT little feet and they smelled every BIT of glorious. RUB RUB RUB.

"Finny Carmichael. Are you FLIRTING with me already?" He SO was. GIGGLE. Neptune liked it. It was flattering and harmless. And he was right, she WAS girl girl girl. She leaned back onto the seat, her feet still on Finny. Neptune was getting comfy for the long haul.

"I think... it's less about you seeing her and more about her knowing that you're thinking about her. I would love flowers from... people."

Nia nodded dubiously. "Er, right." She shook her hair out of her face, before deciding it would be easier just to tuck it behind her ear with her hand. "Thanks for such an unusual invitation to your compartment, I suppose."

Was Ellie offering her chocolate frog? Or asking for one? Nia couldn't really tell, because the younger girl didn't appear to be activity sharing one with her. She laughed. "I'd been on my way to get some, actually. From the food trolley. Before someone decided to change my direction quite dramatically." She gave Ellie a pointed look, beofre letting her lips break into a smile. "I've got the nibbles for some liquorice wands."

He nodded, "Yeah I was looking for you at the feast." He had a moment of panic that he hadn't seen her and he was glad now that she was on the train. He noticed she was buzzing a bit, so maybe he shouldn't show her the box of ice mice he had in his pocket. She looked as if she had had enough sugar."Why are you sitting so far away?" he patted the seat next to himself.

"Anytime." BEAM. Ellie saw nothing wrong with her methods. They worked, no?

Now, she bent to reach under the seat and grab the satchel that she usually carried her school books in. "I raided the food trolley earlier." She unzipped the largest compartment and held it out for Nia to take the candy of her pleasing.

It was tiring to keep this level of emotion up. It was exhausting to cry and whinge and continue to be so upset at the level that Cameron was struggling to find a reason to get up in the mornings. Her exams had ended last week and the finality of the situation was driving her mental.

She paused at the door, watching the girl as she sobbed out a response. The redhead didn't have a reason to like her, and ever since Trixie had given away the ultimate secret, Cam had always felt like there was an inseparable rift between the two of them but even she couldn't just turn around and go away.

"There's no need to be catty," The redhead muttered as she sidled into the compartment. "Did you have a fall out with Oliver?" She sighed. There were few things that could cause the Blonde this much misery. "It's the last day! Can't you two just.. patch it up?" Cameron frowned and sat down at the seat across from her.

Why was she even bothering? There was absolutely nothing that could take her mind off of what had happened. Staring out the window wasn't going to help and crying would probably just make it so much worse. But she did it anyway, because that was all she COULD do at that moment. She couldn't actually stop herself.

"Sorry" the Slytherin actually apologized. To her it didn't sound snappy, she had just simply stated it, but in the mood and the state she was in, that probably wasn't what it sounded like. She wiped a tear away from her cheek before turning to Cam at the mention of Oliver. She truly didn't know what to say, the Blonde stared for a few second, like just his name was forbidden but then went back to staring out the window.

"I don't think we can..." the seventeen year old felt tears running down her cheeks again. She didn't want to mention anything, she didn't want to break them up or cause any arguments, because she didn't want to see him hurt like she was right now. It probably wasn't best for them to talk right now anyway, she wasn't in the best of states and she'd probably feel even worse then she already was.

"Well, you were reading your comic and Stark was on your lap?" she offered as she slid into the seat next to him. She rested her head on his shoulder and smiled. Because it was just nice, being here, with him. Merlin she was going to miss him over the summer... when they weren't together that is. "I can't believe this term is already over..." Selena sighed.

Kel didn't bother to search very hard for a compartment; he just went into the first empty one he saw. He dragged his school trunk in the compartment behind him with one hand while holding his owl's cage in the other. After setting the cage on the floor, he lifted his trunk onto the rack and secured it. Then, he lay down across a whole seat, his hand on the top of the owl cage. He stared blankly at the ceiling of the train, and all he could think about was that this was the last time he was ever going to ride this train.

He leaned back and slid his arm around Selena's shoulders as she laid her head on his arm. Stark of course took no notice of either of them. It was his nap time and he was going to let two love struck kids interrupt that. "Yeah it is over, but don't get sad about that." He laid his head on top of hers. "I don't like it when your sad. Even when you don't tell me what's wrong." he pointed out to her.

Ellie's beaming smile made Nia grin. It made her forget momentarily that she was on a train away from what she knew and loved. "Just...make sure there's always a soft landing, right? I get enough bumps and bruises on the pitch, without your greetings adding more."

And then Ellie ducked and reached under the seat. Nia watched her curiously, unsure what the girl was going to do next. She didn't have any more surprises, did she? She wouldn't it put it past her (or the rest of the team, who could quite easily be hiding in here somewhere). Some clever and crazy Ravenclaw plan to catch Nia out before she left. They'd all got Becca last year, afterall.

All that Ellie produced, however, was her usual bag. Full of sweets. "Blimey, do they have any left?" she joked. She picked out one of the liquorice wands she'd been fancying. "Cheers," she said with a smile, before nibbling it at the end. "Soooo. What's the excitement?" Because one girl didn't need all that lot for one train journey, did she?

Selena was all down about that but no way was she telling Diggy. That would just make him unhappy too and they had to relish what time they had left together, right? This was starting to sound like some poorly made drama. "I'll try not to," Selena said with a small smile. She'd try and that was something right?

Selena looked at the cat who seemed to have curled up. "Can I hold him?" she asked, gesturing at Stark. The cat looked so... furry? Fluffy? Huggable? Whatever, she just liked the cat. Yuuup. And of course she liked Diggy too.

"Alice, how avout I sit with you?" Rex asked her. " Thanks for the talk at the table" Rex smiled. " i am as good as new" Rex told Alice. " You are a great friend" Rex said to Alice.

" Whats up best female sparkly friend?" Rex asked Fee. " Your talks perked me up" Rex told Fee. " Now, I have something for you" Rex explained to Fee. He went to go ticklee her but surprised her by putting Glitter in her hair. " Miss Glittery" Rex laughed.

" Jacqueline, where have you been young lady?" Rex asked her. ' I missed you a whole lot" Rex told Jacqueline. " A cute girl like you does not disappear unless you had a secret boyfriend" Rex said to Jacqueline. "So what is your story?" rex asked Jacqueline.

"Well...if there are chickens around, I could turn them into pillows..." Ellie stuck her tongue out. Otherwise it was whatever was there. Unless... did that spell work on things other than chickens? Hmm. Maybe she should just learn how to do one of those fancy shmancy cushioning charms. Just in case.

After Nia had taken the candy, Ellie took out a chocolate frog and threw the bag next to her carelessly. She laughed at the joke, "Cheers." she smiled. Good, too. She liked that Nia had a way of making her smile, whatever it was. Because the alternative was most likely tears. Which she refused to shed. "Excitement?" Uhm... "We're just having fun." Right.

Diggy turned his head to look at Selena. Well the top of her head anyways. "We've got the whole summer to spend time with each other. So don't be sad about the end of term." He looked out the window at the rapidly passing countryside. It was one of the pretties trips he had ever taken and it whipped by so fast. He would have liked a leisure trip, but that was never the case. His brown eyes swung back around when Selena spoke again.

Stark, as if he knew he was being talked about opened a big yellow eye and turned it on Selena. He didn't care much for the girl. She was always too hyper for his taste, but her lap did look comfortable. He stood up and stretched a bit. With his tail high in the air he padded across Diggy's lap and marched over to Selena. He turned around in her lap for a few paces till he found the right spot. He plopped down and curled up closing his eyes once again. "Would you look at that," Diggy giggle. He had the most pompous kneazle ever.

Eino walked from compartment to compartment trying to find an empty one, but they were all full! He had looked from the very last one to the first but no luck! Finally, no not an empty compartment, but he saw his friend Fee in one of the them, then he spotted Hugo in the same compartment, so he waved through the glass window and let himself him. "Hell-" He tripped on the step as he greeted Fee, "I hate trains!" He shouted as he regained balance. "May I?" He asked Fee for permission to take a seat, ignoring his klutziness. He really did hate trains. He could never keep his balance and they were loud! They were wizards, why couldn't they travel between Hogwarts and London by magical means?

"You could..." Nia agreed. "Though it is debatable how often one might be close to a chicken when a pillow is required," she teased back, mimicing Ellie's stuck out tongue. "I'd opt for a cushioning charm, myself," she added with a wink. "Less feathers to worry about."

"Good card?" Nia asked, spying that Ellie had chosen a chocolate frog. She sucked the end of her liquorice wand, in the process making her tongue turn black. "Just having fun? No excitement?" Nia looked at Ellie in shock. "We're on the train home for the summer, and you've got no excitement planned at all?" She tutted and shook her head. "I dunno. I could be reading my book you knowww." She was teasing of course, her turquoise blue eyes twinkling with mischievousness. Nia had missed all the Quiddtch banter and fun this term more than imaginable. "I could even be sleeping..."

Sadie couldn't believe how fast this term at Hogwarts had went. It had come and was gone just like that. She had somehow managed to pack all of her stuff and lug it on the Hogwarts Express. A feeling of sadness hit her as she boarded the train. It reminded her of when term had just started and she had screamed her head off at Fletcher and snogged Finn. Now wasn't the time to be feeling depressed. Going back to the US meant a lot of things.

One, she was going to see her half-brother and biological dad this summer, and two, no she wasn't coming back next year. Sighh....that made her REALLY SAD, but she couldn't help but anticipate how her last year of wizarding school was going to be.

She opened the door to an empty compartment and heaved her trunk up on the rack then sat down and ran a hand through her new hair. The hair was what she had to get used to. Sadie was still Sadie no matter how different she looked. The girl pulled out her cell phone and texted Evan that she was on her way home. Then she put it on the seat and looked out the window.

Rex got choclate. frogs. "Everyone, I have a couple of boxes of chocolate frogs. "Come and share with me, please" Rex called out.
