Lexi watched the whole ordeal with her mouth slightly agape. The Grey Lady just put the ghostly smack down on Fletcher. Hehehe. Her lips pulled up into a great smile and she rubbed her lamp hoping she got Sir Nicholas. He was total win after all. Yeah. True Story.

Kurumi couldn't deny that it was a little freaky to be told that she had been watched...but someone, the Grey Lady's face was soft and kind that it put her a bit at ease. "Oh...well, hello," Kurumi said bowing a little. Yep, her mother would be proud of her remembering her manners. "It's nice to, erm, meet you." Were they here to help with the flying lesson?

Roselyn 11-02-2010 04:49 AM

Hehehehe...

Did anyone just see that!? That ghost just smacked the Huffie King person! Bahahaha!

Giggling, the Slytherin once again leaned back on her hands, content with watching the ghost fly around and smack talk to people. Why didn't she give cookie girl the same answer? Did no one know the ghosts in the Hogwarts school? Heck, Evelyn knew who the Grey Lady was. She knew even more who the Bloody Baron was, but thank Merlin HE didn't show up.

Yet. If Myrtle showed up as well, who knew who else was going to come. Perhaps it would be best to leave it like this. "Professor...are we flying magic carpets?" He did say they should forget about the law about them.

Ooooooh. Question answered. And she was a stalker too.

Mmmhmmm. Treyen didn't like this one not even a bit, he didn't enjoy the fact that she also smacked a lamp over Sir Fletcher's head. Not nice, Ravenclaw. Tsk. Tsk.

SPOILER!!: Sir Awesome

"You... are in a serious state of denial, madame," he grunted, rubbing his cheek where the icy air had basically whipped him silly. "You came out of his," Salander's, "lamp. I witnessed it. De-ni-al."

He held his head up proudly and jutted his chin out. "And how did you get my name anyway?" Please don't say he was on the do-not-grant-wishes list.... Fletcher was gonna be real bummed if that was the case. But before he could even consider that possibility, the boy heard his fanboy's little exclamation.

"Myrtle???? WHERE?!!!!!" Fletcher's head whipped away from the rude, slappy "genie" and he looked around and around the grassy area for the girl ghostie he had been MEANING to visit all term.

Aha! THERE she was! Fletch winked in Treyen's direction, sure that he was thinking the same thing he was, and then the Hufflepuff scooted on his bum over toward the Ravenclaw conversing with HIS girl ghostie.

"Myrtleeeeeeeeee," the Champion practically purred, grinning wickedly as he scooted ever closer. "Please tell me you've come to grant me three wishes...."

Eyebrow wiggle wiggle.

Aha. Yes. There was Myrtle.

All they needed was Melanie, and it will be summer again, no? But Silent Lockhart was nowhere to be seen....ever.

Bahahahaha! The boy could so easily laugh, but he kept his usual amused face. This was a lesson, wasn't it? Right? Unless...he didn't mind not flying the carpets, you know...

"Of course! Everyone, please grab a carpet and roll it out before you sit on it. Oh, and it's okay to continue rubbing your lamp," Vindictus said.

He selected a carpet for himself from the pile, unrolled it on the grass, and sat down on it. So far, there was nothing magical about the carpet. It looked. . . normal.

But, riiiiiiiiight, they don't haunt anything. Haha.

Muggle related? He didn't think so, but since he was still wondering who the other ghost was, then he kept quiet. And now he was hugging the lamp he'd gotten from Vindictus...maybe this one had a genie that will make Peeves appear.

Myrtle spun around at the sound of her name. Ah, someone who knew her, and another lad too. Just as long as he wasn't one like Olive Hornby, she would be fine.

"It is I, yes, Myrtle."
She said, flattered truly that he knew of her. Smart boy, he was.

James Wilkes was SUCH a gentleman, he didn't even flinch away, despite the fact that this particular ghost was definitely unfortunate looking. He couldn't see any reason to bring that up though, it wouldn't benefit him at all. So he just gave the ghost his best cute crooked grin, the very same one that quite literally had made quite the number of Hogwarts girls take it upon themselves to kiss him.

"Awww I'm sorry." Liar. Ghosts = Haunters. 'Nuff said.

"I don't really know all that much about muggles. If this were Muggle Studies, maybe you could teach me a thing or two." Poor ghost, unfortunate thing, looked like she needed a few lessons of her own. Or you know, she died before she learned the sort of thing James had a talent in.

Faker.

That was all Myrtle had to say about the kid's lamp she'd emerged from. He claimed to be sorry and apologetic, but Myrtle was ALL too familiar with those words and that expression. This guy was such liar and Myrtle knew it.

"You shouldn't say things you don't mean," she sniffled more.

"Muggles are just like us." Except that they couldn't do magic, but other than that, they really were like wizards. They were human too WITH FEELINGS!

our Ghostie friends, Fletchah, Treyen#1fan, Jimmeh....

Salander was still gawking at his genie when Fletcher tried to claim her for his own "Ey! I saw her first!" he growled then stopped short when she went over and-- did something to Fletcher. Oops..."Oh ok you're not a genie. Right!" he said quickly, not wanting whatever it was that was done to his buddy be done to him. "The Grey Lady of Ravenclaw..." he gasped quietly hearing her speak with the young Gryffindor-- wait she has a name. Kurumi. Fighting Kurumi from the Forbidden Forest heh. he looked back at the apparition For a spook she's really pretty. But she's a ghost. Get a grip man!

And then another genie-- nay ghostie appeared from Jimmy's lamp. He looked at her searchngly then heard Treyen blurt out "Myrtle?!?" the lad's hand closed onto his robes instinctively.

The1HBIC 11-02-2010 05:00 AM

Marie rubbed the ;amp she was holding but nothing seemed to happen. "Um Professor, I believe this one has been abandoned," she said setting it down on the ground. No need to keep rubbing it if there was nothing in it.

She then heard a very familiar voice. Smiling she looked over to see Jimmy was there. How had she missed him coming to class? She really hadn't been very observant had she.

Hmm, wonder if Evelyn or Vinny would notice if she moved closer to Jimmy? Eh who cares, she was gonna do it anyway.

*scoooooot*

Oh, now she had a reason to move, she needed to grab a carpet. Getting up she grabbed one then went and sat on it next to Jimmy. "Hey there," she whispered. You now so Vinny wouldn't take points from her for talking in class.

sweetpinkpixie 11-02-2010 05:03 AM

proffie, ghosts, and carpets...oh my!

Kurumi grabbed a carpet and sat down on it still keeping her eye on the ghosts. So...if there was a Ravenclaw ghost, did that mean there was one for each of the houses? "I'd very much like to meet a Gryffindor ghost," she said with a smile as she continued to rub her lamp.

Her eyes flicked over to the ghost that had asked the glitterpuff meany to...share her loo? Kurumi's nose wrinkled a bit. That was kind of gross...and creepy.

Oh awesome.

Jim selected a carpet and then sat down on it. It wouldn't be the first time he'd flown on one, he tried not to think too much about the last time, but he did let out a frustrated sort of sigh. That memory was kind of.... still nice, just... just things had changed. That was all.

"I mean it." James shrugged. The ghost was the one that didn't know what she was talking about. Poor thing.

"Mostly. I mean, some of 'em are pretty good at snogging." See? He had no problems with muggles. At least, not the ones that happened to be pretty girls.

"You were Muggleborn right? When you were alive?" He was sure he'd read that somewhere.

Oh. Hehe. Who needed the ghostly ladies when there were real, pretty, and excellent in the snogging department variety right there?

He winked at her and then looked towards the professor. So. Could they.... fly? Yes?

Erindipity 11-02-2010 05:15 AM

Lexi grabbed a pretty pink paisley carpet from the pile and walking past Jimmy she gave him a smile and a giggle. Yeah, he was THAT awesome. He got a giggle. She turned to momentarily scowl at Marie but her heart just wasn't in it to be honest. It turned out as a half scowl half grin type thing. Fail. She finally reached a spot near the weird Slytherin girl Evelyn and rolled her carpet out and sat down comfortably on itttt.

Starbreeze 11-02-2010 05:16 AM

Finally, they were back at magic carpets and flying. Excited, Eino did as the Professor instructed: He took a carped, unrolled it and sat on it. Nothing happened. "Professor," he raised his hand, "do we need to cast the Flying Charm on them or have they already been cast?" He asked hoping they would learn the charm, since he didn't know it, and thought it could be useful in the future.

Steelsheen 11-02-2010 05:20 AM

Glancing Jimmy's way, he watched the exchange between him and Myrtle, then caught the other boy's look. Oh no buddy, she is allllll yours he grinned back with the look he returned to the Ravenclaw lad.

And he couldnt help but chortle when Myrtle offered her loo to Fletcher. "Well he has a crown and a scepter, might as well give him a throne" he snickered.

Hearing the Professor's instructions, he took a carpet and unrolled it, then took a seat in the middle. And it just lay there. Still grasping his lamp he looked up at the Grey Lady and asked "Uh, HawtGrey Lady of Ravenclaw, are you gonna help me with the carpet flying?" Or maybe just flying in general?

Oi, no. No flying carpets!

Oh, wait.

It wasn't magical, was it? Treyen took one for himself, eying the mischevious piece of fabric and unrolled it, just like Vindictus did. This wasn't his first time on a flying carpet, so...he'll know what to expect.

Abrupt ups and downs. Haha. Fun. But very dizzy stuff.

Frown.

What was him doing with his robes? Odd fellow, indeed. Very odd.

Roselyn 11-02-2010 05:28 AM

Serisouyl!? Evelyn had always wanted to secretly know what it was like to fly a magic carpet. Her father wouldn't let her though, which failed, but then again, he didn't want to lose his job. So...pfft to him. She could care less if he lost his job or not now.

Scrambling up, and leaving the lamp where it was, the Slytherin picked up the best looking one that hadn't been taken yet and moved back to where she was sitting. Since her focus was mainly on the carpet and FLYING it, she didn't notice Marie scooting closer to a particular Stalker Dude. Oh, Evelyn would not be so happy if she did.

Rolling the carpet out, she smoothed out any wrinkles before sitting right in the middle. Mwaha! Eh. Lamp. Placing it in front of her, she stared at it for a moment before moving her attention elsewhere. Woooot! When do they get to fly-

O____O!!! What was this? Was there a Gryffindork sitting near her? Ewww. Regardless, it was a little ways away from her, but it was close enough that made Evelyn want to scoot away in the opposite direction. Pffft.

Mmmmm..

"Ummmmmm."

Was Myrtle just asking Fletcher to die? Just to... go catch pneumonia or stand in a fire or get pummeled by bludgers or something? Did she really want him dead?! Because that's what it sure sounded like. The Hufflepuff had to blink a few times and think fast to come up with a good answer to that question.

"You could say that," he muttered slowly. "I did risk life and limb in the Triwizard Tournament and came out victorious, you know." He might have puffed his chest out a bit with that one as he stood up to grab a carpet.

GASP! What if Myrtle was going to sabotage Fletcher's already atrocious flying in this lesson and cause him to fall to his death?!

"Professor?" the Hufflepuff called out in a tiny voice, "I think I should maybe stay on the ground this lesson and you know, keep the gen--- er, ghosts company." He dropped his carpet on the ground but didn't sit on it or even make eye contact with it.

PattyH. 11-02-2010 05:53 AM

This was tooooooo cool for words!

Patroclus leapt to his feet and siezed the coolest looking Carpet he could find! Unrolling it, the boy placed himself in the center, the carpets blue and gold motif making his appear apart of the design!

Crossing his legs under him, Patroclus placed the wayyyy cool lamp on his lamp and waited for more instructions......did you say up to a carpet?

Due to the craziness of his friend, Patroclus kept finding his vision drifting back to Jacob, to see what he was up too, the boy had thought the lamps were puppies for Merlin's sake!
That kid was priceless!

HogwartsHokage 11-02-2010 06:01 AM

Wow. Ghosts everywhere. Jenny continued trying to rub her lamp gently. Hm. She wondered if one will ever come out of her lamp.

Oh yay! Now here comes the fun part!

Jenny carefully picked a dark blue carpet from the pile (she must have liked blue TOO much) and unrolled it a bit too quickly. Jenny quickly dodged before it flipped over and landed upside down on the grass. "Whew!" Jenny wiped some sweat off her forehead as she tried to flip it right side up. (It was a bit too big, but oh well, nothing she can manage. A little fumbling wouldn't hurt either). She quickly sat down. Wow, comfy.

sweetpinkpixie 11-02-2010 06:29 AM

Kurumi looked over as a rather scary looking man-ghost-thing made his appearance...

MEEP! He did not look happy to be there and she scooted a few spots back on her purple and gold carpet. Looking back down at her lamp, she began to wonder why she was seeing purple-ish smoke but nothing else. Ceasing her rubbing for a minute, she set the lamp down and then lay down on her stomach and stared at the golden lamp.

-stare-

She looked over at Jenny who had seemed to have forgotten her lamp and was enjoying herself on her blue carpet. She turned her violet eyes back to her lamp and frowned a bit. Purple smoke...-sigh-

She decided to close the hole where the smoke was coming out of with her index finger.

POP!

There, now there was no more purple smoke there to tease her. -frown-

...IT appeared.

She jumped back slightly when the Bloody Baron came out of her lamp. Sure, she had seen the ghosts coming out of the other lamps so she should have expected something to come out of hers, but geesh, did she have to get HIM? Of all the ghosts in the school she had to get the MEAN one.

She would have rather been stuck with Peeves at this point.

His features softened. Would she haunt him for the rest of his afterlife? He deserved it. He lowered his head and looked away.

And just when the Slytherin lad thought they finally had a real evil genie, this one came charging right through him!

The yelp was caught in his throat as he felt the ghost go through. It was like his whole body was electrocuted and frozen at the same time, his molecules rearranged then settled back to their original composition. Did he not like calling him just Jafar? "S-Sh-Should I have said most powerful, d-diabolical genius Sultan Jafar?" maybe it was a title thing? He looked at the Grey Lady, this time the begging was obvious "P-Please Grey Lady, can you help me fly the carpet?" and take me away before Jafar turns me into a parrot or something?
