Down the staircase to the left of the main staircase in the Entrance Hall lie the dungeons of Hogwarts. In order to reach the various classrooms, dungeons, and the Slytherin Common Room you have to make your way through the creepy, dark, corridors...

Adam smiled along with her. He had nothing to complain about his detention now, her's was much worse. He hoped Katie would keep drawing as he talked in a serious tone. He cleared his throat and avoided her gaze. "Katie I've been thinking and I think that..."He couldn't bring himself to it. A giant old golf ball lumped inside his throat. Right. Good job, self. Music suddenly filled the corridor.

"Is that good?" He could kinda maybe feel a bit where the steps fit into the beat... how odd.

Katie understood that clearly, she had always acted like a 11 year old, Adam stopped her though, he said that he didn't like her all hyper but thats what some 11 year olds are "I have always acted 11" Katie said and thats all she did say.

Raiden's head bobbed absently, counting beats in the music. His green glowy arm was still a bit distracting; he stared at it, eyes switching between it and Evelyn's silver-lit one. Haha. Slytherins, glowing Slytherin colours, and dancing in the dungeons. This was terribly stereotypical, wasn't it. Or something like that.

Ah ah~ that was their beat. Raiden's focus immediately closed on it, and he started following the steps Evelyn had just taught him, keeping that gentle pressure to make her move along with him.

"This is fun," he murmured, turning her. It was amusing. And he wasn't too bad at it, which was really great. He'd almost expected his feet to get in the way terribly.

Realising that his whole front was drenched in flithy dungeon water, the boy exclaimed, "How do those Snakes live like this!" Patroclus was use to the lofty height of the tower, that's where he belonged.

Getting to his knees, the boy winced as his knee shot with pain, "A little help?" he asked, a definite edge to his voice.

He was currently not a happy chappy.

Once he started with the steps, she followed his lead, taking steps to the back and to the side. She was a bit surprised at his sudden start, but she recovered quickly. Smiling just the slightest, not enough to show any teeth, she kept her gaze forward, just paying attention to the music and their movements.

"Mmhmm." Once they turned, it seemed like the music had slowed down for a moment, but it picked up again at its beginning pace, before adding in a few more instruments. Perhaps they could use longer strides now?

Just for a moment, she took the lead and pulled him forward slightly as she took a longer step back. Smaller steps bugged her.

This was actually very fun, despite the proximity. Somehow it didn't bug him as much with Evelyn and her shiny silver skin as it would with other people. Were he dancing with Nia like this, he was sure there would be a lot of blushing from both parties. However, the glowy green prefect wasn't particularly bothered about dancing with Evelyn.

She was a good kid. And she was teaching him how to-

Oh. He knew that pressure switch, the change as Evelyn momentarily took control and changed their strides. It took a second to adjust to, but at the moment his thoughts were sharp enough for him to do it. Woo.

"Can I ask how you got so good at this?" She was loads younger than he, and she could do it, while he couldn't.

No matter how much she tried to focus on the walls and cold gray floor behind Raiden, she kept glancing at his glowing green...neck. It was distracting since it was literally, right in her line of vision.

But no! Back to staring at the walls and such. Head straight, arms perfect, strides nice and clean aaand...green glowing stareness.

She quickly blinked a few times however when Raiden spoke, and when his words finally registered in her mind, a small chuckle escaped her as she turned her head to look up to him for a moment. Immediately afterward though, her line of vision when back to gray walls. "My parents..." Evil, hateful parents. "They liked the attention on them at parties."

Enough said there. "They thrive for perfection." And that was it. Hmm... "Anways, how is it that you don't know this dance? Or well, I mean...didn't know it."

Raiden was blissfully unaware of the fact that Evelyn was even looking at him; for all he knew, she was continuously staring at the wall. He only noted that she was looking at him when she started talking, and he looked down at her. Even then, she looked away rather quickly, and Raiden couldn't help but frown a little. Looking away when talking about something was usually an indicator that something was wrong about it.

Her parents, huh? Well it could only be assumed that most kids were taught either by their parents or on their parents' request. Others had families that required them to know how to do stuff like this, because of social protocol and stuff. Like Cela had to know how, because... well she was Cela.

"My family isn't exactly a social one," he said offhandedly. "When I was a kid, I was sick a lot. Didn't really get the chance to do much, and learning to dance wasn't exactly on the list of stuff I was allowed to do."

It wasn't a big deal anymore. Which was why he was here, and in the tournament, and doing stuff. If it weren't better, he wouldn't be here, after all. He wouldn't... er... be anywhere. Heh.

"Nooooow, though... now I can learn. Better late than never."

Not aloud to dance when he was younger? That must have been terrible. A nightmare really. She had no clue what kinds of sickness he had when he was younger though. She assumed it was nothing too terrible. Maybe he had dragon pox often. Or that one Scrofungulus disease thing?

Frowning, she side stepped, taking a quick peak up to him before turning her gaze back to the original gray places. Frowning? No! This was no time for frowning! "That must have been terrible." she finally said, speaking her thoughts and trying to imagine....no dancing!? Which probably meant, no quidditch. Or running. No swimming?!

Taking a deep breath, Evelyn let it out slowly through her nose, not wanting these oh so terrible thoughts to get to her, and letting the smile reappear on her face as the music picked up it's speed. And so shall they! "Exactly, and with who better than the best!?"

Hehehehe, there were probably many people he'd rather dance with, but she didn't care. He could've said no after all!
