DADA Class 3 The Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom is brightly lit, if not overly warm, but there is no professor in sight. Instead, there are stations established around the perimeter of the room. The sign posted on the chalkboard is quite visible: Quote:
The water in the aquarium is murky and dark, in spite of the lighting in the room. You may be tempted to think it is simply an empty tank until a face like a demon monkey smashes against the glass. The strong scaled hands that pound futilely against the tank sides are webbed. Station 2 A squat cage sits on another desk. The creature inside is fierce looking in spite of his gnomish little face, glaring at any onlookers with red eyes and occasionally beckoning toward the lock on the cage with its long fingernails. Station 3 Another aquarium sits near the windows, although this one contains no water. Instead, it seems to hold a large, gray rock. Strange. Station 4 The last station is simply a trunk placed on the floor. It rattles from time to time, but the heavily charmed lock will keep you from opening it. What could be inside? ooc: Please do NOT share answers in this thread. You can RP to your heart’s content, but please do not give anything away. |
Entering the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, Dianna was about to greet the Professor when she saw that there was no Professor. Instead there was instructions on the board and four different kind of cages with different creatures. Walking towards the first tank, Dianna looked closely until the creature smashed itself against the glass. "Woah!" Dianna was able to mutter before falling bottom first to the ground. |
Adelyn walked into DADA. She took out her notebook when she saw the message on the chalkboard. She was strangley attracted to that rock. It just seamed, strange. She took out another notebook, where she wrote down wicked helpful information. She decided to makeher first and last year at Hogwarts useful. She finally found a note on a rock-like creature. She qucickly scribbled down information on it, and tried to observe it in as many ways as possible. |
Eino walked in the classroom, took his usual seat in the far back, and watched some of the students move to the front of the classroom to study some unusual containers. At first he feels stupid, having just sat down, to get back up, so he pretends he sat down to tie his shoelaces, which he does so very discreetly, then gets up. As he approaches the containers and reads the note he takes a few steps away from the containers to examine them from afar. Then, he takes out a small notebook and starts to draw sketches and jot down some notes as he slowly approaches the containers. The contents of the first one startle him, and he lets out a monstrous shriek, which he blames the creature for. The second creature will definitely deprive him of sleep for the next two or three days, which he will devote to his studies. The third seems to be missing. He looks around the rock, but he can't find anything. When he finally realizes the creature is invisible he moves on to the final container, which he doesn't know what to make of. |
Marie ran to DADA Looking around she didn't see any of her friends there yet so she just plopped down in the nearest seat and got out her things. Looking at each of the stations she felt this was going to be a pretty simple assignment, she still wished Headmaster Hottie was there, you know in case she |
No, man, he had all the time in the world to get to DADA in time...that's why he was walking and whistling as if he had nothing to do, until he stopped in front of the door, and then...looked puzzled. This was the classroom, no? One look at the chalkboard told him so, but the Professor was not here, instead there was that note, and the cages and aquariums were odd things to be seen in DADA, it suited Saylen much better. Either way, he was going to sit down when he decided it was better if he ventured a little closer to whatever specimens Headmaster Tate had placed in store for them. |

Mia was casually sauntering towards the DADA classroom, she knew that she had plenty of time to get to class because probably for the first time she was going to be early. A few feet away from the door, Mia felt something rush passed her in a blond blur and she giggled softly as she watched Marie enter the classroom. Someone obviously liked the DADA class or perhaps it was the person teaching it. As she made her way into the room she stopped to read the note on the desk and glanced around the room to see each of the stations containing a different creature. Easy peasy. Throwing her bag into the corner, Mia sat down beside Marie. "Well this should be a piece of cake right?" At least they would be able to remain clean in this class. |
Yeah, Defense Against the Dark Arts. Destiny was starting to enjoy these classes more and more. Not that she ever disliked the class, but with the food fights and paint bubbles it was becoming one of her favorite classes. Not really, but seeing as Professor Headmaster Tate was teaching, she had to pretend, right? Maybe. Stepping inside the classroom, she took notice of the people already present, Professor Headmaster Tate not being one of them. Maybe he was going to pop out at them like Professor Carlton does, only Tate would be far scarier. Noticing MARIE, she slowly made her way over to her friend Best friend stealer!? Destiny Shepard did not think so. |
umm yea, you peoples. *points to you, you, and you* Evelyn was rather reluctant to come to this lesson. Why? Because it took her six hours of showering to actually feel like she was clean enough to go on with her daily life last time. That's why!!!! However, here she was, moping her way towards the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, trying to get her whining and groans of boredom loud enough for Destiny to hear and make her STOP and wait for her. No such luck. Which made her sigh and just continue on because her friend couldn't hear her. Even louder now though. Flopping against the door frame when she finally made it, the Slytherin rolled herself on the wall and into the classroom, landing with her back against it and looking around the place. Meh. What was all of this stuff? Before she could spot the chalkboard and instructions, a head of blond and two heads of brown met her vision. Heey look, it was Marie! Been like, forever hasn't it? Since they last spoke? Dragging her feet over, Evelyn sat down next to Destiny, giving her a quick glance and GLARE before looking at the other girl. Mia right? The one that was totally awesome in Charms class. Yup, she remembered her. *sigh* Now what? |
Quote:
Looking up at the chalk board, his mouth formed a small 'oh'. Alright this seemed interesting. Dropping his bag on his desk he took out a notebook and a muggle pen. Looking toward the left of him he noticed that Huffie dude who was in the forest with him. "Why you just sitting down for? Too scared of being attacked again?" Of course he was joking. The spider thing was AWESOME. |
Evelyn Too Quote:
Where was that boy anyway? Class wouldn't be a total loss if he showed up. Quote:
What was with the look Destiny was giving Mia? And Evelyn was here too. Now the party could start. "Hey Evelyn, you should try to contain your excitement there a little." she said laughing. Really, how could someone look so grumpy coming into this class? Now all she needed was a certain 'Claw to show up and she would be extremely happy. |
SPOILER!!: The Awesome Trio Totally oblivious to Destiny's glare, well that wasn't strictly true, Mia had noticed it but she decided to simply ignore it. She hadn't done anything to the girl. Not that she knew of anyway. So Mia gave the girl a warm smile. "Hey Destiny. Haven't seen you around in a while." And then in walked her friend. Evelyn. Yep that's what her name was. Mia smiled at her also as she took a seat beside Destiny. "Hello Evelyn." She said inclining her head towards the girl. Mia didn't know what else to say to her. From what she remembered from Charms class, the Slytherin wasn't very talkative. Not until Mia had set herself on fire that is. Turning back to Marie, she smiled a little as she made the introductions. "Yeah I know Destiny. We met on the train and I helped her out with her stalker." Mia said and then belatedly remembering that the guy had been Carter and he had been Marie's boyfriend who had been under a love potion given to him by Destiny. Whups! |
Freya was running towards the DADA classroom. She was afraid that she's late. She was arrived in front of the classroom door. She took a deep breath before she pushed the door open. She looked around but she couldn't see Professor Headmaster Tate there. She was in the right classroom, right? She saw instructions in the board mentioning what they have to do in the class. Yup, she was in the right class. |
Quote:
WAIT! Destiny had a stalker? O________O "You had a stalker? Why am I just now finding out about this?" she asked looking from Mia to Destiny. What other kind of information was she not telling her. |
SPOILER!!: 2 Slytherin's and a Hufflepuff. Destiny did in fact hear Evelyn's groans and whines, she just chose to ignore them and walk even faster to class. It wasn't like she couldn't get another shower if she became all messy again, and really, it wasn't all that bad! So what a little bit of potato landed in her ear, get over it. Turning her head as Evelyn sat down next to her, she noticed she was being glared at. What was that for!? "Keep glaring and your eyeballs will fall out." So true! Destiny's parents were Healer's and they had told her all about that. Ehhh, which meant she shouldn't have glared at Mia like that. Destiny liked her eyeballs in their sockets where they belonged. Well, she wasn't about to apologise! Pffft, she'd just stop the glaring. Taking her bag and placing it on her desk, she started rummaging through it while Marie said something. She wasn't really paying attention..until Mia spoke! Stalker! Train! Carter! Crater! She tried to give Mia the universal signal to SHUT UP, but she just kept on going!! *FACEPALM* Quote:
Gah! Destiny wanted to go and DROWN herself in that aquarium with the dark and murky water, but deciding that was too drastic, she stuck her head in her bag and let out a long and silent scream. Removing her head, she looked at Marie and nodded. "Oh yeah, I had a stalker alright. He was a big guy, too! Mia had to jump on his back while I ran away." Riiiiight Mia!? RIGHT!? "And you are only finding out about this nooooow, becauseeeee.." Mia has a big mouth. "I was..too scared to tell you." Nod, nod, nod, nod, nod. |
Feeling quite confident that he could handle this last Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson, Fletcher strolled into class while humming to himself. His hands were in his pockets, he had his shiny new cardigan on, and his repaired bag Fletcher opened his mouth to greet Headmaster Tot when he noticed... the man wasn't around. Odd. He made a face and budged past some students to get a better look at the chalkboard. Hmm so.... he just had to identify the creatures in those cages? Psssh this was going to be easier than resisting rotten food at a food fight. Piece. Of. Cake. Moving away from the board and back toward the glass containers, Fletcher reached into his bag and pulled out some spare parchment and a quill. He narrowed his eyes at the first cage and waited for some movement from the creature to identify what it was.... |
SPOILER!!: awesome peoples What? "Says the girl who just glared at Mia." Really now, if Destiny was going to tell her something, at least follow her own words...right? What was it that the muggles said? Wait...O___O!! Is this what she has come to? Mentally saying muggle phrases? Or for the love of Merlin! EW! … "And I'll try not to kill the party." She smirked, glancing from her to Mia. Because it was so lively when she got here. Yup. Teehee. That could change of course. Unless Mia was one of those tattlers, then this class was going to be rather boring. "Hey Mia." See? She could be nice and polite at times. She even put on a small 'Hello' type of smile after her greeting. And why not? The Hufflepuff girl, no matter if she was in the house of freaks or not, was alright after all. As the mention of Carter came up, Evelyn Quote:
*snicker* Finally spotting the chalkboard though, her eyes quickly moved over the words, before she stood up. "Well, as exciting as stalkers are, I'm going to go find out what’s in this tank thing." That had like nothing in it! Pffft. She didn't really need to know who this mystery stalker dude was anyways. He was a Gryffindork, and that's all that mattered. |
Hehe...you know who you are Destiny looked as though she was constipated or something. Her face was all screwed up and she kept looking at Mia. What on earth was she supposed to do about her problem. But when she spoke to Marie and pulled out one of the best stories Mia had ever heard it was then she realised what the look was about. Oh. Riiiiiight. Mia looked at Marie and nodded her head vigorously. "That's right. He was huuuuuge. Big as a troll, he was." Now if Marie believed that then Mia was a damned good story teller. "I must have worked him over real good too because I haven't seen him since." That may have been a touch overboard. Deciding this would be a good time as any, Mia stood up just after Evelyn. "I think I'll go and see what's in these tanks as well. Hey Evelyn, wait up." Mia loved Marie too bits but she did not want to hang around for that conversation and Destiny was probably going to kill her for her big mouth. Maybe hanging around the non talking Slytherin might be the best bet right now. |
Look at all of you lying to my poor Marie Marie eyed Destiny as she told her that crazy story about her stalker being some big guy that Mia had to jump on the back of. Really, if something like that would have happened she was sure she would have heard about it. What? She was scared to tell her? "Why would you be scared to tell me about some big guy stalking you?" That didn't make any sense to her. And Evelyn didn't know either? Something was not right here. Destiny never keeps anything from Evelyn. Well she keeps her chocolate from her but that is only because she doesn't want Evelyn to take it from her. She looked back and forth between her friends trying to figure out what was going on. "Yeah, what's his name and do we know him?" and now Evelyn was leaving without getting any answers to her question. Yeah, something was up here and she was going to find out what it was. Looking at Mia when she started to agree with Destiny she knew instantly that she was lying to her. "Big as a troll? You really expect me to believe that one?" How stupid did her friends think she was? And Mia was leaving too? Sure they had an assignment to do but she had a feeling that wasn't why her friends were up and leaving her there. Looking back at Destiny she glared at her as if daring her to get up and leave too. "What exactly is it that you aren't telling me, and WHY did they feel the need to get up all of a sudden and leave? And don't tell me so they could do the assignment either. I know you guys are keeping something from me and I want to know what it is." If she knew what was good for her she would tell her what was going on. |
SPOILER!!: Evelyn and Mia..thanks for leaving me with the CRAZY girl! Yous know she likes to PUNCH!! Blah, blah, blah Evelyn. Destiny refrained from making duck noises while her friend talked about glaring and killing the party. She didn't know Defense Against the Dark Arts class was a party, and if she did know, she would have brought party hats. And streamers. And BALLOONS, because a party is not complete without balloons. And then Evelyn was asking questions about this stalker dude. She tried to give the universal sign of SHUT UP to Evelyn, but, just like Mia, she kept going. Could she just reach over and strangle her? No, no she couldn't because she stood and walked away. Some friend she is! Destiny would deal with Evelyn later..like while she was asleep. She remembered those Transfiguration spells to make noses turn into fruit. She would wake up with a grapefruit for a honker. At least Mia went along with the story! Maybe a little too much, but yeah. She was doooooomed. Doomed to be tormented by Marie and her fists of fury. Her feet of fury as well. As Mia left, she Destiny decided to bang her own head against her desk. Whyyyy did this even come about and whyyyyy did they leave her!? She stopped banging her head and was juuuust about to run over to them when.. ..Marie started. Quote:
Scoffing, she rolled her eyes like the answer to the question was obvious. "I was scared to tell youuuu because..you know how stalkers are. Once they know who your friends are, they stalk them as well. I was looking out for your health." Or something, she wasn't sure. She also wasn't sure how long she could keep this up. She slouched further down in her seat, and any minute now, she'd be on the floor crawling to freedom. Crawling to freedom as in using Evelyn and Mia as a human shield. "How do I know what his name is? He was a STALKER! I'm not going to ask what his name is while he is stalking me." Really, Destiny wasn't that dumb. "And no, you don't know him." Slouch, slouch, slouch. Almost to the floor! "Ginormous. Maybe bigger than a troll." BAHAHAHA!! Picturing Mia hanging on a guy's back, a guy who was bigger than a troll, made Destiny burst with laughter. Mia..just swinging from the guys neck..oh right, serious. Putting on a serious face, which was really, really hard, she looked up at Marie. "They left because..they had to do the assignment!" And with those last words, Destiny finally hit the floor and started crawling away. Heeeeelp! |
Quote:
Smiling towards the Hufflepuff, Evelyn moved closer to the empty-ish tank and farther away from the other two Slytherins. With a notebook in one hand and her pencil in the other, she opened it up to a blank page before looking at the tank. Was there anything in it? Like...for real? Tilting her head to the side, the Slytherin glanced towards Mia out of the corner of her eye before looking back towards the cause for the concentrated look on her face. A small smile did appear though, tugging the side of her lips up into what at least could be called a fake smile. Even though it wasn't. "So...are you the cause that I haven't seen Marie in awhile?" she asked, raising a brow. "Or has she met some new guy that we don't know about." She didn't mind if it were either. Just the guy...could Marie like a guy that Evelyn actually liked? Or can put up with civilly? As in, no thoughts of hatred or dislike towards him? Would make it soooo much easier. |
Quote:
Well at least the girl was smiling. That was a good sign, right? Encouraged by this and also hearing Marie's voice from across the room, Mia moved a little closer to Evelyn. Even though she knew that Evelyn would likely push her into the onslaught of Marie if the girl should happen to come over this way after she was done yelling at Destiny. Mia glanced guiltily over her shoulder at the other two girls and felt extremely bad now for bringing that up. But she had honestly forgotten about that whole situation until the moment it had left her lips. Turning back to Evelyn, Mia's mouth dropped open slightly at the Slytherin girl's question. She blinked a couple of times before finally answering. "I...well...we have hung out a couple of times." Mia was unsure of why she felt defensive all of a sudden. It wasn't like she was purposely taking Marie away from anyone. "I have been trying to help her get over Carter." She shrugged her shoulders and looked over to Destiny and Marie again before returning her gaze to Evelyn. "I introduced her to Salander but I honestly have no idea if they are seeing each other." Mia bit on her lip and shifted her gaze to the tank in front of her and instantly recognising what was inside. Writing down the description of the creature, Mia spoke again without looking up. "I consider Marie my friend but I really don't think that I am the cause as to why you haven't seen her." Damn these Slytherins were hard to be friends with. |
Quote:
Taking a deep breath, to calm her nerves and to try and keep a straight face, Evelyn turned her head towards Mia, nodding a bit at what she said. Well that was good. It wasn’t like she or Destiny were helping with her with the Carter situation, and she’d think that Destiny would stay away from that topic. It was a shame she couldn’t stay away from it for long. And with no Professor in sight? Oh, this could end badly. …What? "Salander?" she repeated, glancing towards Marie. Well, Evelyn supposed not all guys Marie hung around were all that bad. Salander was decent enough. "Well I hope she is. Salander is…good." For her. Well, as far as she knew, the Slytherin guy was just someone she liked, so he was good enough. One pinky out of line though and he was toast. She couldn’t help it anymore. The small chuckles and snickers escaping her could alert even the most oblivious person across the room that something was up. "I'm sorry…Mia. Relax. Really. If you’re a friend of Marie’s then you’re a friend of ours." Regardless of the fact that Evelyn did not like any of the boy’s Marie had…befriended. Except Evan. Now why didn’t they work out again? Then again, Mia was not a boy. "I'm just messing with you." With a few remaining laughs, Evelyn wrote down what the creature was and any other characteristics of it, including a haphazard sketch before taking a step towards the next station area. "So we know how you and Destiny met, what with troll stalker dude on the train and all... but how did you meet Marie?" |
As Daisy walked around the classroom she tend to shy from the first tank ever so slightly, it would be with her luck that she would get hurt...again. But the urge to throw in a cucumber was one that she suppressed. Moving around slowly she began to wonder what the station two and three creatures were. She had come across the station one creature last term and as for the station four, this term. She stared and stared and stared not sure what they were. |
Cass was running down the corridors towards the DADA classroom as fast as her feet would take her. When she got to the door, she opened her mouth to start apologizing for being late, but then noticed that there was no professor in the room. She leaned on the door for a moment to catch her breath and looked around. Quote:
So she linked her arm around Freya and asked "So, where do we start?" |
Quote:
Noticing the deep breath, Mia wore a quizzical look on her face. Surely this girl couldn't be as nervous as Mia was right now. She didn't exactly have a lot of girl friends and it would be nice to have some more but she figured she could cross Destiny off that last. She looked over at the other two girls for a moment and sighed deeply. One of these days she might actually think before she spoke. Turning back to Evelyn when she spoke, Mia broke in to a smile. "Yeah Sal is good." And if Mia wasn't so busy being infatuated with someone else she might have given the guy a second look. But from what she guessed about Sal, he was a lot like her in that he wasn't really interested in anything serious. And then Evelyn was snickering and Mia sucked in a breath until the girl spoke again and the relief washed over her and she let out her breath slowly. "Oh. Ha ha. You had me there for a minute." She gave a nervous chuckle but was glad that Evelyn seemed to accept her. Mia finished writing down her description and then laughed at the stalker comment. "Oh we met out on the grounds. We kind of ran into each other. Well actually I think I ran into her and we got to talking. Sort of. She was a bit down when I met her and I think she just wanted to be alone but I kinda pestered the crap out of her until she told me what was bothering her. I think it was just to shut me up to be honest." She looked over at Destiny and Marie again and grinned. She didn't bother to mention that Marie had scared the crap out of her and made her fall into a bush, that didn't need to be repeated. "You and Destiny seemed to be really tight. Did you two know each other before you came to school?" |

Adeyln walked up to the other tank. She knew something was in it s oshe was very quiet and studdied it very careful. |
Alice walked in to Defense Against the Dark Arts and looked around the room, curious as to where Headmaster Tate was. Noticing the instructions on the board, Alice went over and read them carefully. So...that explained there being so many tanks. Taking out a piece of parchment and quill, Alice went over to the first tank to observe its contents. This would be a fun class. |
SPOILER!!: Scaredy Cat Marie was not buying one little word of this story that Destiny was trying to sell to her. "Really Destiny, you think I'm gonna believe you were looking out for my health? " Her friend was crazier than she thought if she thought her story was believable. Watching Destiny slouch even further down into her seat she knew the girl was lying and trying to get away from her. "Oh I think you know his name. If you had a stalker I'm sure he would make it known to you who he was. Besides, how do you know I don't know him? Do you know everyone that I know?" Seriously, Marie doebted Destiny knew all her friends. "You really do need to work on your lying skills Destiny. If there was a ginormous troll on the train I think everyone would have known about it. And I know they have an assignment to do, so do I. You know as well as I do that is not the reason they left." And then Destiny was crawling away. "Get back here," she yelled grabbing Destiny by the foot and pulling her back. "You're not going anywhere until you tell me the truth. And you better make it quick, we have an assignment to get done here." If she had to she would beat it out of her. |
SPOILER!!: We prefer 'Chicken', thank you very much. Destiny was IGNORING Marie. Sure, she totally had awesome comebacks for all the questions that were being thrown at her, but she decided not to say any of them. Really, what was the big deal? She didn't go around asking Marie about her stalkers. What if there really was a stalker, though? She wouldn't want to talk about something that left her traumatised! Because, yes, if she really did have a troll of a stalker, Destiny Shepard would have to have Pfffft! Marie knew nothing about stalkers, and Destiny, being the stalker that she is, needed to school her friend in stalker 101..or something. "He was a STALKER! Stalkers just don't go around introducing themselves!" DUH! What if she was a muggle and she decided to teph-a-lone those policey coppy people? Having the person's name would totally get them sent to Azkaban. Not having an answer to the next part she, once again, ignored Marie. "I didn't say he was a troll, he was as BIG as a troll." DIFFERENCE! Destiny would not be flattered if a real troll stalked her. Crawl, crawl, crawl, CRAWL! She was almost to Evelyn and Mia when she felt her foot being grabbed. Contorting her face into a silent scream, with popping eyeballs and everything, she stretched her arm out to grab a hold of something..or someone, but it was too late. Marie had dragged her back and started asking questions again. Gah! Rolling onto her back, she looked into the eyes of And with THAT, she rolled back onto her stomach and started crawling away..again. |
Quote:
How long ago was this? Marie had seemed fine lately so it had to be some months ago, two at the least. Chuckling, the Slytherin glanced at the second station, staring at the cage and the creature inside before her attention moved back to Mia. "You? Pestered Marie?" Bahaha! "That was brave of you." Was the girl sure that she didn’t mistake the hat and was actually put into Gryffindor? Then again, she had seen no black eyes, broken noses, and heard no complaints about the Hufflepuff so it had to have gone alright. The conversation and pestering that is. But with talk about Destiny, Evelyn glanced over towards the two Slytherins, a puzzled expression crossing her face for a moment; Seemed like her friend was trying to crawl away, and was being dragged back to the den. Well there was no way she was going to help now. Marie was too angry at the moment. "Oh umm…no. We met at the opening feast. First year." They didn’t really become friends though until that one Defense class. Casting curses at each other? Bonding moment! Besides, the two of them came from opposite families almost. There really was no way they’d have met before school. …should they like…try to rescue Destiny? |

Freya then noticed Cass was a bit preoccupied before she scared her. She looked around the room to find what could be the object of Cass sudden interest and then she saw a certain Ravenclaw boy sitting alone. "Why don't you go and talk to him Cass?" she smirked. |
Kurumi decided to work backwards since everyone was crowding around the first few cages. She found herself at the locked chest with her parchment clutched firmly to her chest. A locked chest...that was a little frightening. Just then, the thing made a loud BOOM! and shook violently. Kurumi covered her mouth to silence her scream as best she could. Shaking a bit, she began writing down a few notes and theories about what was probably inside the chest. These things had to be somehow related to what they had been studying this term, right? Or was this a Care of Magical Creatures joint class? |
Quote:
Ahhh. So Mia wasn't the only one who had noticed that Marie could be rather scary when she wanted to. Obviously her friend was well known for her temper. "Stupid more like it." But that was Mia to a T. Always doing and saying things before she thought about the repercussions of her actions. "I survived." She said with a small laugh. "Just barely." She thought that she might have to go and change her underwear after her first encounter with Marie but thankfully the girl hadn't scared her that much. Mia followed Evelyn's gaze to the two girls and was rather alarmed at the sight before her. She wasn't sure whether she should go and help Destiny or stay out of it? The look on Marie's face was enough to make her stay right where she was. Hmm, back to the conversation at hand. "Well you two seem very close. You could seriously pass as sisters with the way you two interact with each other." You know closeness and the picking on each other. Again Mia looked at the other two girls. "Should we...?" Do something? |
Marie too! Teehee *glomps* Quote:
Taking a deep breath, becoming rather bothered about where the conversation was headed, she smiled and nodded her head, taking her time in sketching the thing that was in the cage. No, she was not going to open the lock! Dumb thing. Quite pointing to it! "I suppose you can say that." It's not like she didn't like the idea of her and Destiny being sisters, but it was just the...reality of it and it could actually come true that was bothering her. Hmm? Looking back to the other two, Evelyn stared for a moment before shaking her head. "Destiny will be fine." It's not like Marie was going to punch her or anything. ... Oh holy...crud. "Marie! C'mon. I know there is no professor here, but we need to get this work done." Like now, and without killing eachother pleeaaassse. If there was any killing, Carter will be the target. Not Destiny. |

Quote:
"Well I don't necessarily think they we were friends after that first meeting." Mia was pretty sure that they weren't but Marie had least stop being so hostile towards by the end of the conversation. "I think it was probably after the second time we met up that we became friends. I listened to her problems about Carter and gave her some ice cream and advice." Although it had taken Marie a while to actually take her advice and get over the Gryffindor and go out and meet some new guys. Hence the reason for the meeting with Sal. Which by the way she had yet to find out how that had gone. Mia looked over and Destiny and Marie again. Perhaps she would leave that question until later though. Her friend didn't appear to be in a very good mood right now and if things hadn't gone well with Sal then Marie might take it out on Mia after she had finished with Destiny. Okay so Mia wasn't particularly smart but she would have to be an idiot to not notice that Evelyn did not want to talk about her and Destiny so Mia let matter drop altogether. She raised an eyebrow at Evelyn before turning her attention back to the two girls. And crap. Destiny had spilled the beans about Carter. Mia couldn't help herself and she moved towards Marie. "Let's get this assignment done, shall we?" |
Hey guys how are you Quote:
Alex entered the classroom just after Kurumi. Alex was walking behind her but Kurumi was not pleased with the classes atmosphere..Alex could atleast figure that out. "Hey Kurumi!! How do you do?" Alex interrupted Kurumi's silent scream.. Quote:
Just when Alex greeted Kurumi she found Hugo seating alone at the back. For sure He was not interested to talk but Alex just thought she will just greet him from distance may be he will tell her to join him. Alex made her mind to just taste Hugo's mood. While waiting for Kurumi''s reply Alex just waved at Hugo and said "Hi." -------------------------------------------------------------------------- While Alex was busy greeting everyone the trunk rattled very hard.. Alex at once knew what was it.. rather she guessed. Anyone can guess that she thought.. For a short moment Alex got little scared, very next moment she calmed down herself and started walking to the seat.. |
SPOILER!!: alex <3 Kurumi nearly threw her parchment and quill up in the air at the sound of Alex's voice, "H-h-h-hey," she stammered catching her breath a bit. She was having flashbacks to her and Jenny battling things out in Charms -shiver- Kurumi's eyes wandered over to exhibit 3 and the...rock.... Oh, wait, maybe she had read about these things. She took a closer look and, yep, definitely one of those. She made a few notes and then turned back to Alex as her mood lifted a bit. "How is it going?" Her violet eyes darted back to the locked trunk that rattled again. |
Kurumi take it easy!!! Quote:
"Ya so far alright.. I think I just know only one thing from this all stuff. We are not allow to discuss right?? But let us see if my brain enlightens me more I have to look at all the stuff very carefully. After all it is Headmaster's class... |

The trunk in the corner made some more loud noises setting Kurumi back on her toes again. What would happen if any of these creatures got out of their cages...the professor wasn't around at the moment, right? Did that mean they were going to have to think on their toes about how to put everything back in its proper place? Were any of them capable of doing that?! |

You 3 know who you are Marie just rolled her eyes at Destiny when she asked her why she was so violent all the time. "I'm not being violent... YET. And yes, I must know." Hearing who it was though she let go of Destiny's foot. Right, she should have known it was Carter, after all he had been in 'Love' with Destiny at the time, even if it was drug induced. She watched as Destiny crawled away... again, only this time she didn't try to stop her. She no longer felt concerned for her friend. It was her own fault she had her so called stalker at the time. After all she was the one that gave him that stupid potion. Hearing Evelyn yell at her she looked up. "I'm not stopping you from getting your work done." She was only stopping Destiny, who she had now let go so she wasn't stopping her either. Great, and now Mia was standing there trying to get her to do the assignment. "Um, I don't feel like doing it right this minute." she said. "You go ahead and get it done, I'll start in a little bit." For now she was just going to sit there and stay as far away from Destiny as she could. If she was lucky maybe Jimmy would make it to class and she could work with him. |
SPOILER!!: Mia and...moody Marie. Eep! hehe Was anyone ever a friend for them after a first meeting? "Still though… It was bearable enough that you two didn’t duel it out the next you saw one another." Smirking, she glanced towards Mia for a split second before turning back to the cage and her description of the creature inside. She was joking again. Of course. "Ice cream always helps…." Hmm? Advice? Just about to ask what kind of advice the girl gave her friend, Marie had spoken up. "I know but…" Eh. Frowning, her gaze lowered to the floor as Destiny continued to crawl. Bad mood Marie. It was hard trying to decide whether to run for it or to be a good friend. Such a hard decision! Taking a deep breath, Evelyn let it out slowly before shrugging her shoulders. "Fine then. You have three pairs of notes to look through if you decide not to get it done. Just so you know." Three pairs of notes of which may or may not be of use or even readable, depending on the person writing them. See? She was being a good friend AND running. Talk about multitasking! |

Alex replied Kurumi smiling. She begin to walk with her observing as the trunk gave a jolt again.. |
sorry for the lateness! Quote:
Treyen looked to his right and there he was, the Gryffindor from Saylen's class, the cool kid who was not afraid of spiders, unlike Diggy. "Sitting down? I'm not sitting down" he said, slightly frowning. Yes, he was confused, because as far as Treyen knew he was standing in front of one of the aquariums. But then he smile, widely, "I think we can handle being attacked again, don't you think so?" of course, it worked better if they knew what was attacking them, which is why his eyes flickered towards the creatures inside their prison. Mmmmm. Interesting. |

The sketching progress had begun. Daisy had found a comfortable spot of the floor in front of the first tank. She had out all her art stuff and was sketching away determined to capture every detail. It wasn't a very pretty creature to draw but she wanted to have it in her notes. |
Amy stared into the empty tank, or at least thats what she thought untill an evil monkey thing came up to the glass "Eek!" she backed away from the glass "what is that.... thing" she hurriedly walked to a different station, there was a little gnome thing in a cage, despite it's evil apperance she thought it looked kinda cute.she took out her note book and started drawing it as she would do with the rest of the creatures |
As Alex was walking around the room she started taking down the notes. She just identified one thing yet and no idea of other three creatures or whatever it is.. Shall I take help?? Alex thought. It was written on the board that we can chat but not specially what kind of chat. Alex considered the thought for a moment and then left it.. |

Shifting his eyes from side to side, the Slytherin lad stands at the back of the class a bit bewildered. He understood the part where the Headmaster not being there, what he didnt quite understand was why it looked like DADA suddenly turned into some Muggle Science lab. He steps forward slightly, looking at each of the stations. They all appeared to be creatures, or at least some sort of habitat for them. He looked down at his hand clutching the DADA book. Maybe he should've brought his COMC book instead? That is of course, if he still had it, what with what happened in their last class.... |
sorry for being all late..and stuff. :( Pffft! Grabbing someone by the ankle and pulling them across the room was violent, but Destiny refrained from saying that. She didn't need to be picked up Hulk style and thrown across the room, that's for sure. She'd probably just land in that aquarium with the dark and murky water and Merlin knows what was in that. And now Marie was all sad and gloomy AGAIN! Gah that girl needed to cheer up. Like go slide down a rainbow or something, because sliding down rainbows would cheer anyone up! Even Lafay would cheer up and that woman was never happy. Destiny would have to tell her to do the same..later, though. Standing from the ground, she brushed herself off before reaching for her bag and pulling out her notebook and quill And if she would have taken her advice about staying away from boys last term, she would be happy right now. "She's not using my notes." she mumbled, making her way past Evelyn and Mia to the first station. She didn't want tear stained notes from her crying! |

"Salander" he said, and then pointed out at the rock thing, he still wasn't sure what it could be, but he seemed to have a fair idea based on what was written on his notes, "Interesting, no? How the most dangerous seem so harmless" well, not the most dangerous from the other, but still, if it needed to be in a closed environment for them to watch it...then, yes, it wasn't entirely harmless. The comment could also be applied to him, to Treyen, because...what was it he once read...that size was no guarantee of power? Yeah, that, and since Treyen was little and oh-so-harmless he could be the one to be on the look out for. Beware, creatures from the wood. Or Forest, whatever. |
Rubiey was staring transfixed at station one. This was wierd. She was slightly grossed out by all these ugly creatures scattered around the room. Leaning in closer, she tried to peer into the murky water. BAM! Some ugly monkey type thing smashed against the glass, and Rubiey jumped back with a yelp of fear, catching her heel on something, and falling flat on her bum. Nice one. Ah, let the humiliation commence. |
Quote:
Alice walked over to her, extending a hand. "Are you alright?" Alice asked, trying to not draw any attention to Rubiey's wipe out. |
Hmm...So all they had to do was identify what was in each of these stations and then answer a few questions about each of them. Eh that wasn't so bad now was it? The Blonde approached the first station and looked in when suddenly the creature appeared with a sudden appearance that startled the poor Slytherin. Okaaaaaaay then. She took a few steps away from the tank this time. Yeah she didn't want to be startled again. The sixteen (almost seventeen she might want to add) year old jotted down a few notes here and there so that she could remember them for later. |
Treyen and the BAMing Gryffs ;) Salander glanced around at the sound of his name Hey its Fletcher's His head suddenly spun to the first station, where Alice and her Gryff friend seemed to have encountered something nasty. "Now that on the other hand, looks dangerous." Just by the sound of it anyway. |
Quote:
"Shall we, er, move on?" She said, turning away from the station. She did NOT want to see that thing again. Hmph. |

Sigh. The boy's eyebrows came together in a frown, after he dramatically sighed. And now his arms were crossed across his chest, "That is no rock" what year was he anyway? If he didn't know that wasn't a mere rock then...no, no, Treyen was right, it couldn't be something else. "And rocks can be dangerous, you know, if someone is holding them" and then they shoot it straight to your head. Yup, dangerous. Unless...well, they could test how dangerous rocks were if Salander volunteered as a test subject. Treyen chuckled, "Nah, if you know what to do when you face it, then you're okay" he nodded and uncrossed his arms, it was time to take another note. "You do know what it is, don't you?" eyes slightly narrowing at the boy. |

Mia looked at Evelyn and raised an eyebrow, “You remember what happened in charms right? Do I look like I would be able to duel someone?” Half the time she didn’t know end of her wand from the other. The thought of actually duelling someone scared the crap out of her. Not only would she get her butt kicked but she was likely to do something without meaning to. She was about to say that ice cream was the saviour of many problems but then Marie started talking. Quote:
Mia sighed a little. All that work she had done with Marie, getting her back on her feet and in the arms of others guys and one mention of Carter and she’s falling apart again. And she so wanted to remind her of that but Mia quite liked where her nose sat on her face. Right in the centre. And she’d liked to keep it there. Now it looked as though Destiny was in a bad mood. Mia thought it best to just keep her mouth shut from now on. So she walked over to the next station and started writing down the description of the next creature. |

He looked back at the murky glass enclosure as the young boy chuckled off the danger. He thinks that rock thing this is a bigger danger, but noisy in the water the water he just laughs about? Is this kid right in the head? "Sure I know what it is." he scoffed shrugging ".... just as I know what that is." he motioned his head at the rock thing. Now he appreciated that the Headmaster wasnt there. He didnt have to prove his answers heh. |
Quote:
"No worries," Alice said, giving Rubiey a warm smile. "That thing is rather nasty." Alice turned to glare at the murky tank. Evil!monkey. "Yes, let's move on," Alice said, turning around and walking towards the second tank. Quote:
"Nasty little thing, isn't it?" Alice whispered to him as she walked by. |
Quote:
"Right" that was all he said, in a very, VERY neutral tone. Eyes no longer narrowing. Aha! You know what, let's give him the benefit of the doubt, because Salander didn't have to lie for this, right? Chances are he was telling the truth, why would he need to lie about knowing what the creatures at the "I still wonder what could be inside the trunk, though" he said, as he heard the trunk rattle one more time. Spooky, was it not? The unknown. |
Quote:
Well yeah..he was standing but....ugh...little kids. "Figure of speech I guess." This kid seemed pretty smart though. And he was a Huffie. The Badger's did tend to make some thing more exciting. Legend grinned as he thought back to the forest. That was one of the best moments of his life. "I think we could handle anything after that." Yeah they were awesome like that. "My names Legend Chosen by the way." Legend relaxed a bit as the Huffie began talking to his friend and looked at the creature in the cage. |
Quote:
A nod to his golden brown head, "Legend. Nice to officially meet you. I'm Treyen, Treyen Lockhart" another nod, and then a look at the gnomish creature. It was creepy, but nothing more. "Chosen?" and no, he wasn't going to joke about it, "Do you have a sister that used to be Quidditch Captain here at Hogwarts?" he asked, writing a couple notes as the gnomish dude reacted on something. |
Treyen, Legend, a bit of Alice.... "Sure is...." he replied to the young Gryff, relieved that at least someone else didnt take the dark waters as a laughing matter. He turned his head at the trunk when Treyen spoke of it. It knocking about reminded him of something, something he preferred not to voice out "Lets just hope its not a poor firstie" he smirked. Because that would be just cruel. And Salander knew a thing or two about cruel jokes. He shifted his attention to the other Gryffindor lad Treyen was speaking to. He remembered seeing him vaguely at COMC class. Was that him, or was it another other fellow? He couldnt be too sure, they were after all running for dear life while trying to keep those spiders from taking their legs off as appetizers. He shifted his attention back to the rock thing, unable to keep himself from overhearing their conversation. So brave are we? the Slytherin lad couldnt help but snort quietly. At least now he knows who he could get behind |
