| | Charms Lesson 2 Charms Lesson 2 As you walk into the Charms classroom, the most noticeable difference is that all the desks have been pushed to the walls in a circular formation, leaving a wide, open area in the center of the classroom. In the back of the room, a large, white sheet is draped over--who knows what--, and whatever it is underneath shakes violently every few minutes. It's no wonder the desks have pushed far, far away from this object--whatever it may be.
Go ahead and take a seat. Professor Carlton, although not in the room right now, will be along shortly.
OOC: Class will not begin until I get in tomorrow afternoon (Oct. 4 around 5 PM EST). You may go ahead and roleplay your character coming in, but please, limit the chatter.

Marie was rather glad to hear that the class was over. She was more than happy to get away from that boggart. She quickly wrote down the homework assignment then gathered her things to leave. "Bye Professor, enjoy the rest of your day." she said as she walked out the door. She needed to get to a place where no one from class was going to be. She did not want to hear any questioning about her boggart... which she was sure she would hear from Evelyn and Destiny.
Now where to go that she wouldn't run into them right away?

Emily was glad the class was over. Enough digging up ghosts for one day...except for the potions essay, which amounted to the same thing, really. She sighed and swung her bag over her shoulder. Thanking the professor, she quiety exited the room, already thinking about what she had to do before her next lesson.

| *pets Salander* Even though the description of Grayson's help made me giggle. Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict As Salander had looked up at her, Grayson simply nodded. Hopefully it had gotten through, and she smiled as he got up and faced his boggart. It was imaginary, even though she'd been terrified by her own.She even giggled a little as his spell hit and stuff started raining down. It was really funny. But then Professor Carlton had stepped in and shut the boggart away for good, and she stopped giggling long enough to look at the professor.
Returning to her desk, she rummaged around in her bag until she found some parchment to note the homework down, then smiled at the blonde professor. "That was fun. Kinda terrifying, but fun," she said, before she heard the question Fletcher had posed. Now that she thought about it, that was something to be curious about. The professor certainly had tried to keep out of the boggart's way, like she hadn't wanted them to see what form it would take. And it seemed Salander was curious about it too. So she paused in gathering her things up to wait. Either the Huffie champion would get an answer, or there would be an interesting evasion. Either way she didn't want to miss it.

Rubiey was gutted. The lesson was over and she hadn't been able to defeat her Boggart. She trudged over to her bag, pulled out her journal, and wrote down the homework.
Smiling miserably at the Professor, Rubiey murmured her thanks and left the room.

She'd avoided looking at it for too long a period of time, afraid that it would change for her and leave her unable to tend to the children for a short period of time. She'd made sure to always be alert and ready just in case any of the students needed her.
She wheeled the desk to the back of the room, and then rejoined the class. "I think you all did a wonderful job. Battling a dark creature is no easy task to take on, but I think all of you did very well despite having to face your fears head on," she said. "Class is dismissed, but before you go..."
With her wand, she guided the chalk to write the homework across the board.

She copied down the homework really fast and tried to force a smile but it was impossible, "Good day Professor Carlton," she said turning away to leave, her eyes red.

Sapphinelle neatly and quickly wrote down her Charms homework in her little French planner, gathered her things in her bag, and got up from her chair, staring absent-mindedly at the locked-up boggart. Whew, what an experience!
She gave Professor Carlton a big smile. "Have a wonderful evening, Professor Carlton!" she said cheerily, and skipped out the door.

Ohh, how sweet! The students were politely thanking her for the lesson and telling their goodbyes. She smiled at them and bid them goodbye, as well. She'd just grabbed her handbag and motioned for her entourage (aka Prince Charming and the unnamed ferret) to come along, when... Quote:

Ah, now for the homework. Well that didn't look too bad. Fletcher quickly jotted it down and then nodded to the professor. "Excellent lesson, ma'am. Just a question though.... what shape would your boggart take?"
He was curious. ... this was brought.
Of course it had to Fletcher who thought of it. Looking around, Lexi saw that the Salander boy was watching and waiting, as well. "Well, boys, I'd love to stand here and tell you that I'm actually fearless, but...such isn't the case, I'm afraid," she said, walking closer to the door as she talked. She motioned for the boys to follow along. "It's Inferi, though. I think they're incredibly creepy, and to be honest, I sometimes question whether my casting ability would be so great in the presence of them," she admitted. She shrugged her shoulders, though, wanting to believe deep down inside that she would be able to defeat them if ever faced with them.
As an afterthought, she added, "That or...never finding my soulmate." Because both would be equally terrible, you know. She gave the boys a tiny smile then headed out the room.

Well she was certainly sneaking out of there quickly, wasn't she. Fletcher stared after the professor and turned toward Salander.
"Couldn't she just like, use fire on an Inferi though? You wouldn't even need Riddikulus...." He imagined it would be a bit like what you would do if your boggart was a dementor.
Her second fear was kind of cute though. Fletcher smiled at that fear and shook his head, gathering his bag and wand. Who cared about soul mates as long as you had fun in the process of looking for love?
