"I hope something awesome," he answered to both girls. |
Alexandrie walked into the Charms classroom and glanced around, she blinked at the covered object in the room and wondered what it was. She took a seat a little ways from people and got out a parchment, ink and quill to take notes. |
She hadn't ran to this class. No. She has just walked... at an incredibly fast pace, skidding skidding round the corners of the corridors, and slipping down the stairs. It wasn't HER fault she'd been studying... up in the owlery. And then remembered she had a class to get to. Whoopsies? Skidding into the class, Lori squeaked out a protest groan at the fact the Professor wasn't here yet, and neither were a lot of people. SHE HAD JUST RAN FOR THE LOVE OF MERLIN! RAN! How was that normal? How was that right? Ladies didn't RUN. Not in heels, nor carrying books for all different classes. EH. Sliding quickly into a seat, she sighed and rested her head in her hand. ... Thank Merlin she hadn't broken a sweat, ey? |
Amy walked into the room, jumping out of the way of the Puff prefect, good morning pro-she stopped, no professor, odd. But then she saw the scary shaky thing, she moved to a desk far away from the scary odd thing and took her book out waiting for the professor she began to doodle |
Ivory had just crossed the threshold into the Charms classroom when she stopped short...and no that was not a pun due to her rather short stature. But rather because of the appearance of a big glaringly obvious white sheet covered object that was....shuddering? Her body automatically took a sneaky stance and what she wanted more than anything in the world at that moment was to satisfy her curiosity and look under the sheet. As far as she could tell, Professor Carlton wasn't around and not many others for that matter...so maybe it if she just took a quick peek... But alas it was not to be. For as soon as Ivory began inching herself towards the bjecto, more students began to arrive. Sighing in resignation, she decided that if something was covered then it was a surprise. And if it was surprise...well she liked surprises and she liked the professor...so out of respect for the professor and the subject and surprises she would just take a seat. Okay, fine it was a seat suspiciously close to the sheet covered thing but she was going to be good and wait patiently. Honest. After a few seconds of swinging her legs under the desk however, she realized that wasn't quite so easy so after digging into her book bag and getting out her charms textbook, she decided she'd what she always did when she didn't know what else to do. She'd read. |
Freya was running towards the charm classroom. She didn't want to late for the lesson and losing point for her house. She pushed the door and saw that the lesson wasn't begin yet. She took a seat in third row and took out her parchment and quill from her bag. |
Amy skipped into the classroom happily when she entered she noticed the large sheet with.....?!?!?! under it. She looked around where was the professor?? she took a seat and got out her quill and some parchment to take notes. This looked like it would be a ....."fun" class |
A cloth-covered table shaking at the back of the room. Well, that wasn't intimidating or slightly disturbing at all. Not particularly wanting to sit next to it, or stand next to it as it were, Kellen found himself inadvertently standing only a person or two away from Hufflejock Fletcher. Fantastic. Not that it really mattered, since the boy would probably throw things at him anyway, no matter where he was. Still, maybe something had happened over the Christmas break; Santa may have brought the boy some brains. Wishful thinking, right? |
Fee walked into the classroom. She was a little late today. Hopefully professor carlton wouldnt be there already. Rushing in to the room she noticed professor carlton wasent. Few.... Lucky girl. Looking trough the room for some of her friends she noticed Cass sitting next to Hugo. *smirk* Good girl. Oh and there was Freya. Appraoching the table she was sitting on she kept an eye on Hugo and Cass. "Hey Freya", she smiled,"see where Cass is sitting?" |

Lara was such excited about her next charms lesson, although she wasn't lessons-lover But she likes practical lessons such as charms. She stepped into the class confidently, looked at the faces said "Hello!" to anyone who can hear and sat down as she closed her eyes waiting for the Professor to say something. |
Charms!!!!! Quote:
"Oh ya" Alex completely forgot in her excitement that she did not greet Hugo properly. "I was not well last week. so could not able to come. How about you? I was just wondering what could be there under that sheet...." Alex said awkwardly. |

Alex answered the girl... |
Jacqueline walked in the Charms classroom. It was full already. She found a seat in the front. She took out some books and pens. ''Hello professor''she said quickly. She could smell the kitchen and the grass that is freshly moved of the Quidditch field. Wonderful. This is going to be great class, she could feel it already. |

"That seat's taken," the Huffle |
You guys crack me up, really. You make my day! XD .....DESTINY SHEPARD! "Merlin Me!" Lexi fussed, turning around and wagging a finger at the creature walking behind her. It'd caused her to be late--again--to her very own class. Peering over the creature's body, she glanced toward the second creature, the one who hadn't caused her to be late, but had to be brought along to class anyway, as there was simply no time to bring him back to her quarters. With a soft sigh, she turned around and opened the door to the classroom--only to find Destiny Shepard crowded around the front door like one of those door greeters in big shops during the holidays. She'd nearly run right into the girl, too. Giving her a little look, Lexi said, "Oh, hello, Miss Shepard! Find a seat, and we'll begin shortly." Lexi edged past Destiny then turned to watch as both her ferret (who was still unnamed) and Prince Charming (her little Chihuahua) followed their mum into the classroom. She shooed them toward the front of the room, where both curled into a little pet bed near her desk. "Please forgive me, class. Prince Charming, the ferret, and I were talking a walk through the gardens, and the ferret decided to play a game of hide-and-seek right as it was time to leave...," she said, making her way to the front of the room. "Quieten down, and if you haven't already, take a seat so we can get started," she said to the class. |
Amy looked up as she heard the female professors voice and pads across the floor who was obviously- Prince Charming? Amy loved dogs but it was quite an odd name for a chiuauau, still the professors dog the professors choice |

Catching a little smile and wave from Kurumi Hollingberry, Lexi paused then smiled and waved in return. She took a moment to hoist herself up onto the edge of her desk, her favorite place to sit while teaching a lesson, then glanced up toward the classroom full of students. She paid the sheet--and whatever it was underneath it--no mind, although ever so often the covered object shook, causing quite a stir in the back of the room. "Lots of times the subjects we learn here at Hogwarts relate to one another in at least one way. Some relate in many ways, though, such as...Charms and Transfiguration or Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts," she said. She glanced around the room to make sure that all the students were following her, or at least making an attempt to pay attention. When she was satisfied, she moved on. "Let's focus on Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts. What are some ways in which those two subjects relate to one another?" she asked. "How can we use charms for defense purpose--and vice versa--how can we defend ourselves with charms?" |
When Professor Carlton called the class to order, Simon turned his attention to the front so he could listen fully to what she had to say. Her words made sense especially with what had already been learned in both classes as well as what he had read on his own time. He was hoping to follow his older brother into the aurors after all. At her questions, he thought for a moment or two before raising his hand to answer. "Well there are defensive charms including the shield charm and the patronus charm," he replied lowering his hand to his desk. |

"Well..charms can be used offensively like the banishing charm? That could be used for defensive purposes.. " |
What was shaking under that cloth? Staaaaaaare. Arya had been going through her mental list of creatures, weeding out the ones that couldn't be in the box. She wanted to go over and poke said box with her wand, or even better open it, but she didn't want to be attacked by anything either. Not saying that Professor Carlton would put anything dangerous in there, but ya never know. Maybe it was another professor... Her eyes flicked over to the door when the professor entered the classroom, and then follow Prince Charming and.......new pet all the way up to the front of the classroom. She gave Ivory a small nudge and nodded at them, in case she didn't see them before listening to Carlton start the lesson. It was a dark creature in the box, she added them back to her list as she raised her hand. "Charms can be used in a duel. A lot of the shields we use are charms." |
