Charms Lesson 2 As you walk into the Charms classroom, the most noticeable difference is that all the desks have been pushed to the walls in a circular formation, leaving a wide, open area in the center of the classroom. In the back of the room, a large, white sheet is draped over--who knows what--, and whatever it is underneath shakes violently every few minutes. It's no wonder the desks have pushed far, far away from this object--whatever it may be.

Ooooooohkayyyy. What was with this professor and hiding creepy things under sheets? This had happened before, hadn't it? Fletcher wasn't just mad for thinking that Carlton liked to dramatically reveal the subject of the lesson by whipping off a sheet or a cover or something and shouting AHHHHHA? Eying the covered, shaking thing in the center, Fletcher narrowed his eyes and took a seat in the back of the desk formation. He wanted to be close to the door in case whatever it was decided to spring free of its covering and attack the class. As long as it wasn't bowtruckles... or dugbogs, come to think of it..... just to be sure, the Hufflepuff did not take any of his books or parchment out of his bag and sat very stiffly on the edge of his seat. He was prepared. Prepared for the worst. Prepared to escape. He clutched his wand tightly and stared down the shaking sheet. |
All riiiight. Charms. Charms always neared the top of Aiden's Favorite School Subjects list, for various reasons. With his battered-up backpack hanging off of one shoulder, he walked into class. Whoaa, empty. For once the boy was early! His attention was immediately drawn to the mysterious thing underneath that sheet right smack dab in the center of the room. O.o What the heck was under there? Eh, well. He was sure he'd find out soon enough. He glanced to his right, his eyes landing on the desks that were now set up against the wall. Might as well make himself comfortable. After walking over to a random desk, he dropped his bag to the floor and slid into the seat. |
A sheet, something shaking under it. OH MY. Annie entered the classroom, looking at the shaky sheet and trying to walk carefully to find somewhere to sit. This was totally normal, right? Because last lesson, Annie was way to o sick to attend the lesson. She felt bad about it. EEEH. Finally, she found a seat, somewhere half the way close to the door. She really hoped nothing dangerouos was hiding under that thing. -.- |
Finally, here was one class she knew she wouldn't fear for her life. In a nice happy mood, Evelyn walked in and first spotted the seating arrangement, though thought nothing of it. They had seating arrangement changes before, so it was no big deal. However, her attempt to go sit at the back left her slowing down and stopping halfway there, eyes widening and mouth hanging open slightly. Shaking...sheet... ...thingy? ... To the front it is then! |
Emmaleigh made her way up to the third floor, and headed straight for the Charms classroom. She was looking forward to this class because it was immensely useful, but as she Entered the room, she stopped in the middle of the doorway. She had heard something big in here. She glanced around the room and noticed sheet over what must have been the thing that made the noise. Yeah, that was scary, and Em so did not want to go near it. She also noticed upon entering that there were very few people in here, so she had plenty of seats to choose from. She decided to stay near the door, since it was as far as possible from that thing. *gulp* |
Hugo entered the classroom. Ohh, what could that be? He took a seat. He was quiet, because Charms was an awesome subject. Staring at the thing underneath the sheets, it started to shake again. Huge gasped and backed off a little, though he was as far away from it as possible. |
Kurumi entered the Charms classroom and thought she had arrived in the wrong classroom. If it were not for the other students carrying their textbooks, she probably would have gone back to the Great Hall and retraced her steps. She took a seat near a fellow first year who she had only talked to briefly but Katie had just gone on and on about. Kurumi looked at the white sheet in the front of the room just as it began to shake. Kurumi was so startled that she fell backwards out of her seat. Peering over her knees from the floor, she wondered what sort of chaos was about to be involved in this lesson. Was there going to be yet another maze?! |
It seemed it was time for another charms class and Simon for sure wasn't going to miss it. Sure the last class had ended with him helping Viky up to the hospital wing but it had been fun for the most part. Walking inside the classroom, the Gryffindor paused as he noticed the change in seating configuration but resumed walking. It certainly wasn't that big a deal since it was true for most classes to be changed up every once and while. Taking a seat at a desk off to one side, it was then Simon noticed the...thing in the back of the classroom, for it had suddenly made its periodic movements for the first time while he was there. What in Merlin's beard... |
Lexi made her way to the Charms classroom still in her sweat pants and hoodie, hair a hot mess and just NOT caring one bit. Meh. Yawning slightly she stepped inside and frowned as something under a sheet in the back of the room shook and made noise. Not her style. AT ALL. While scratching the side of her face Lexi made her way in and sat nearest the door that she could manage. Yeah, that was the right idea. |
Charms class. He was mad at himself for missing the first lesson, having been too absorbed in his studies that he didn't realize the time, but he promised himself that he wouldn't miss this one. On the other hand, he was kinda glad he did not make the first lesson. He had heard something about cowboys and girls, and riding horses...and looking like chickens? Even though this was a favorite subject of his, that did not sound interesting at all. His hopes were high though as he walked into the classroom, Beauxbatons uniform in perfect order as usual, hair light and springy, dashing smile, and all perfection, ready to greet to Professor! Who was, not here. He didn't miss the class again did he? This...was the right class, oui? |
It was time for some time with the greatest Professor in town! The Lion-Lady Professor Carlton! With a huge smile on his face Patroclus strode into the Charms class room, his tred slowing as he saw a huge white thing in the room, "Argh Ghost!" he joked, as he walked his way around the circle of desks. Sitting down, it was not until he had his things unpacked, that he realised he was sitting directly opposite a certain someone.....I hope the sheet hides a growing tree the boy wished...however this was not herbology. Was it too late to move? |
Even though I'll be at work when it starts, can't miss class ;) Another Charms lesson. The first after the holidays, and Grayson felt like she had a lot of reasons to want to be here. Not the least of which was how much fun she'd had in the last lesson. Of course, she hadn't thought it was much fun during the lesson, but looking back, she'd had a blast. And besides, she figured there was less reasons to worry about Professor Carlton wanting to take Draco from her. Which was another reason she was curious about this lesson, to see if there was anything new with the baby ferret. She'd still made sure to leave Draco back in the dorm, though. Safety, and all that. Heading into the classroom, she waved at Noel, who'd walked in ahead of her, before glancing around to see who else was there already. Not too many, but at least she knew Annie, and |
Vienna entered the Charms class room excited about the lesson. She stopped at looked curiously at the white sheet noticing there was something shaking under there her interest was peaked even further. |
Charms!!!!!!!!!! Quote:
Charms was one of the favorite subject of Alex. She was very excited about the charms lesson. What could be there today. She walked along Hugo into the class. When both Hugo and Alex saw something creepy shaking under a sheet and the arrangment of the class room she decided to keep herself as away as possible from the thing. She choose the seat next to Hugo. Looking at Hugo Alex was very nervous... In the same nervousness and partly excitement Alex asked Hugo "What you think? What could it be?" |
Patroclus Marie walked into the Charms room not really sure if she wanted to be there. After that last lesson where troll boy kept trying to knock her to the ground she didn't know if she wanted to come back. However, Professor Carlton was pretty much her favorite And of course, the seating arrangement had been changed again and what!? She wasn't going to be able to sit in the back now. Not cool. She did NOT like sitting in the front of a class. Spotting Evelyn, in the front, she chose to go sit with Patroclus, who wasn't exactly in the front. "Hey Patroclus, how you doing?" |
Dianna entered the potions classroom. She noticed that the tables and chairs have been pushed back and in the middle of the room was a white sheet which was shaking very violently. This was going to be interesting to see.. Wonder what it is? As curious as the rest of the class, Dianna took a seat in front and waited for the professor to come in. |
Figured it was about time they met. Hope you don't mind. Quote:
And yet another class. Mia was certainly not used to this whole attend one class, the bell rings and then you move onto the next one. She enjoyed Hogwarts but it just took some getting used to. Walking into the charms class, Mia took a moment to take in the way the room had been set up and she almost let out a squeal of excitement. Were they going to dance and frolic to the beat of drums? Or maybe they were going to sing songs of peace and harmony and all those good things. Totally oblivious to the shaking sheet in the back of the room, Mia took a seat next to a girl who looked to be around her age. "Hello." She said brightly, "Looks as though something exciting is going to happen in this class huh?" |
Quote:
She also introduced herself to the girl and asked "What do you think it is under that sheet surely not something scary this is charms not magical creatures or DADA" |

Skip. Skip. Skip. With a piece of parchment waving over her head, Destiny skipped her way to class. This was so funny, and she just HAD to show Professor Carlton. Sure, it was all her doing, but no one knew that, not even Evelyn or Marie. She would tell them later, of course, but right now, she was the ONLY one who knew what she did. "PROFESSOR!" she called out, but noticing that the woman was not in the room, she quickly covered her mouth with her free hand. Strange..the Professor always seemed to be late to class, and, once again, Destiny was the only one who knew why. She knew she should have stopped at the Greenhouse before going to class! Carlton was probably holding hands with Dodson..again. Only now, instead of making dinner plans, they were probably discussing wedding plans! AND SHE WAS MISSING IT!! Booo! Well, that wouldn't stop her from giving the parchment to the Professor. Leaning against the door frame, she gave a quick thumbs up to Evelyn before folding her arms and waiting. She was so excited for this, she didn't even notice the moving sheet in the classroom. |

Slowly raising a brow as she looked up, Evelyn turned her head to the side to see if whoever was talking, was talking to her. And it seemed so. Exciting? Hmm, she wasn't one of those bubbly girls that was going to giggle at the prospect of charming something pink was she? "Sure." Uh huh. Her black eyes flickered over to the rattling white sheet in the back of the class for a moment, wondering just what kind of exciting the girl was thinking of. Did she even notice the creepy shaking sheet thing!? ...Was the PROFESSOR under there?! Quote:
OH LOOK! IT was Destiny! Who...wasn't sitting! WHyyy? Shaking her head slightly, giving her friend a 'what are you doing?' look, the Slytherin snickered and decided to just not even think about it. Destiny did her own thing at times. Though she was extremely curious to know what that parchment was. What is it!? What isss itt!? |
Charms. Charmscharmscharms. Cameron LURRRRRRVED Charms. It was like one of her favouritest subjects. She liked it because she was actually GOOD at it. Yeah? Well that made sense. "Morning Professor!" She chimed brightly. So she was hyperenthusiastic about this class, so what? "Have a good week, so far?" HEH. Just being friendly! |
