He was falling, so he used a Hover Charm to keep him up in the air. I think that's an excellent way to use this, don't you?"

"You could use it to pick up something, maybe if you are lazy. But of course you always have the summoning charm.

Hugo was proud of his answer, though a lot of people had better ones.

So may people had so many good answers to the question. Even so, I can come up with something good to contrubute. Thus Chloe raised her hand and said, "You could levitate furniture to clean under it with =out needing someone to lift it" well that atleast was something.

Vienna had sat their quietly just listening she had dressed up in a cowgirl outfit as asked. she loved dress up but the cowgirl theme was not her style so she added lots of glitter and color to her bright yellow cowgirl outfit. In answer to what a hover charm can be used for she raised her hand and answered uncertainly. "It can be used to transport an unconscious or badly injured person to
the hospital wing"

Emmy put her hand up, and said, "Well... Maybe if you were flying, and you got knocked off your broom, you could use it to cushion your fall?" not the best way of putting it, but never mind...

Kurumi thought for a moment. What had she read that could be useful for a Hovering Charm. "Professor," she smiled raising her hand. "One could use the charm to levitate a cursed item and examine it without touching it or bringing harm to yourself." Yes, that sounded like a pretty legitimate answer. "Or, help you carry something heavy from one place to another..." That second answer did not seem as smart as her first one, but it was still a possible use.

Cass swung her feet under the table, careful not to get her white cowboy shoes dirty, then she raised her arm and said "Well, it could be used to start a food fight...like what that house-elf, oh..what was his name?..Dobby! Dobby did during the summer of 1992 to get Harry Potter in trouble."

Jaxon swung his hand up to the air and said, "Professor, some might think it is too early for this one but, I think we can use it to decorate, like for example a huge Christmas tree like the ones we use here at school during Christmas." he said and scratching his chin.

Rowan sat quietly taking notes. Oddly enough, she felt silly NOT wearing a cowboy hat. She wished that she had a hat. It was fun to dress up sometimes.

Professor Carlton wasn't in the back room?

Shrugging off the fact saying hello to an empty room might have made her look like an idiot, even though she wasn't the only one, Sarah smiled broadly as their teacher entered the room. She liked her. Carlton was nice....And pink. Pink was like some kind of thing, that was spreading around the school. Weird.

Deciding to just take notes for the first question, Sarah eventually stuck her hand up for second one. "If you have a really messy room, you could use it to put things away and tidy up. Especially if some of it is heavy, or needs to go up high." Yeah, she was speaking from experience on the messy part.

"We could levitate objects into any position we want and we can also use this charm to clean any wreckage." Dianna said as she lowered her hand. She can't wait to try it.

Cass noticed a girl not wearing anything cowboyish at all. So she took of her white cowgirl hat and offered it to her "Here you go. You can borrow it if you'd like."

Carr sighed as she sat in class, smiling as she listened to the professor talking. Charms were her best and favorite class and she was glad to finally be in it. She'd been smacked in the face with dodgeballs shaped like '1's in Arithmancy, thrown five feet to the ground in Flying Class, and screamed at for something she'd already done in Potions and she was so happy to be in Charms where she knew precisely what she was doing. And Hover Charms? Easy! And one of the most useful charms she'd ever learned.

She raised her hair and cleared her throat. "Professor," she said, calling attention to herself, "Aurora DeLune's parents use Levitation and Hover Charms in architecture. They own a contracting company and build houses using the charms in tandem with magical extenders, which maintain hover charms without a person having to keep direct eye contact with it at all times."

"Oh thank you so much," she beamed at the girl. "I'm Rowan, by the way. It's very nice of you to loan me your hat. I was feeling a bit silly, what with everyone else dressed up."

Cass smiled at her as she fluffed her blonde tresses to remove the shape of th hat from her hair. Then she said to the girl "No problem. I'm Cass. First year Slytherin. Nice to meet you Rowan."

"First year Ravenclaw. Nice to meet you too. Did I see my friend Rex teaching you how to swim? How'd that go?" she asked.

Lexi D raised her hand and smiled at her HoH before saying, "My mum uses the hover charm when she cooks. Because she has so many things going at one time, ya know. She can just hover the hot pots and pans into the sink when she is done, too. SO that is one way it could be used." She smiled as she finished talking and pushed some hair from her face. Ahh Charms, one of her fave subjects EVER.

Sarah had been trying to pay attention to what was going on up the front of class, but she could hear a low whispering behind her. Turning in her seat, she spotted two first years chatting about hats and swimming. "Pssttt," she hissed to get their attention. "Would you not chat in class please, and pay attention to Professor Carlton! Thank you."

Sarah gave them a stern look, before turning back to face the front. Plenty of time for talking later. Yes.

"I apologize for quietly thanking Cass for the use of her hat," Rowan whispered back to the older girl.

"Oh yes, he tried." Cass said, remembering one of her cousin's favorite phrases "To bad though. But he said he wasn't doing to give up" Cass said with a smile "Oh, you're a Ravenclaw? Wonderful My father was in Ravenclaw. But you should continue his later. We would have plenty of time after classes."

Rubiey had moved seats, so she was sitting next to Slytherin best friend, then she raised her hand. "If somebody has had an accident, and something has fallen on them, they could use the Hover Charm to move it." Rubiey suggested.

Freya raised her hand before saying "You could used it to levitate heavy object for example furnitures when you moving in or moving out, Professor." she said. "Or you could used it to levitate a very injured person or unconscious person." she added.
