Kurumi found herself lost again. She was so nervous about giving Adam his Valentine's Day gifts and what to say that she had completely zoned out and now found herself...in the broom cupboard. Nice...very nice. She then remembered the time her and Adam had spent in here pretending to fight with brooms, breathing fire at each other with Pepper Imps, and just being silly.

Her heart beat picked up, while at the same time became very steady. What did she have to worry about? Adam liked it when she was all shy and flustered.

Kurumi was about to leave when she saw Adam on the floor rolling around like a lunatic. Kurumi giggled and set her box on one of the chairs. She walked over to the rolling Adam and looked down. "Enjoying yourself?" she giggled.

Adam looked up to see the Violet eyes that belonged to Kurumi's. "I thought these brooms might be enchanted to fly, so I tried it and I ended up on the floor like a S- but yes, I'm enjoying myself Adam saw Kurumi put a small decorated box on a chair. Getting up he pointed at it and asked, "What's that?"

She laughed. "And I thought you were trying to play Quidditch by youself in the broom cupboard." She sat down on the floor next to Adam and tried to pat his hair back down as it had become a little puffier than usual due to his fall.

She flushed at Adam's next question. Oh...had he noticed the box? Not that she didn't want him to not notice, because she did want him to noticed but now she felt really awkward and nervous about him noticing the box and didn't know what to say about the box in regards to how to give Adam...the box. -blink blink-

"I....um...that's...um...." her hands went to her face again. "I...." she took a deep breath and handed the large box to Adam. "Happy Valentine's Day." Her hair started turning rosy pink again and she had a hard time looking him in the eyes.

Adam took the box and twisted it in his hands. OH NO! Adam had COMPLTELEY forgotten it was Valentines Day and had gotten Kurumi no one month anniversary present or Valentines present..."Thanks..." He carefully opened the box, as to not rip the wrapping tied around it. When he opened it, and saw inside he smiled.

Kurumi blushed as she saw Adam smile. It hadn't been easy trying to keep all these goodies a secret from him - especially since he always seemed to be in the kitchen when she was. The chocolate cookie cheesecake had almost been a disaster during the cat fight, but it had managed to stay safe. Kurumi had even tried some simple icing decorations on the heart shaped cake. She had spent a lot of time on the chocolate covered strawberries and there were even a few that had Adam's name written on them.

"You're welcome," she blushed. "This is my first time giving someone something for Valentine's Day...I hope you like it..."

"Alright thanks Kurumi..."he mindlessly kissed her on the cheek. Then he saw how much sugar and sweets and chocolate the desserts had on them, and he laughed slightly..."Are you sure you want a hypered up Adam Burn- I'll go all Ninja Monkey on you..."He said, he grabbed a strawberry and popped it into her mouth...

Kurumi didn't have time to answer before Adam had popped one of the strawberries into her mouth. She tried to speak, but she ended up sounding like a baby as she chewed on the strawberry. Yay for them being in season at the moment. Once she had finished chewing, put her hands down. "Ninja Monkey...sounds interesting," she laughed trying to make a monkey face. Adam was better at making those types of faces though.

Adam puffed out his cheeks, and hanged his ears with his fingers. "And that's how you master the monkeai face...Wow, these are amazing- did you make them your own?"He smacked his head, of course she did idiot, she's a baker- these are baked goods....

"Nah, I bought everything at a joke shop," she winked. "They're spiked with a potion that will make you sleep for 100 years."


She paused for several moments keeping a straight face as she did before bursting out laughing.

"Of course I made them," she kissed his cheek before she realized she had done it. "I...um...In Japan, girls bake things for the guys you like. I asked my brothers for advice on what to make."

Adam blushed so madly his face felt like it was in a inferno. "Your brothers told you to make me this...wait, do they know I'm, the guy you like- they must've badgered you about me...And thanks- it's a really thoughtful present- I mean it won't last long- but when you were baking it, you probably put your heart and soul in this cake and strawberries..."he smiled at her, speechless with what he got.

"No no no!" she laughed. "I just asked them about Valentine's Day in general...I never mentioned your name." She patted Adam's head. "They don't know that I like someone...Ryunosuke would probably show up at Hogwarts to badger you himself." She laughed, but realized that Adam wasn't exactly laughing with her.

She found herself blushing even more as she saw Adam blushing. She put her hands on her knees. "I spent a lot of time thinking about what to make you...I tried to make something that captured my image of you." She put her hands on her cheeks again and shook her head back and forth in embarrassment.

Adam was now embarrassed himself. She probably wished to get a present from him, but he had forgotten about this day. He was so inconsiderate. "I''d like to met Ryunosuke...He sounds just like me..."He laughed."So if you captured the image of me, and I have baked good..."He said cutting a piece of the cheesecake and handing it to her. "Then , you think I am sweet and sugary?"

"Well, I do think you are sweet," she laughed. She wasn't sure if she could bring herself to say the rest. "But..you are a lot more than just that..." She leaned her head on his shoulder. "Ryunosuke is a bit protective, but he means well. I guess he kind of is a lot like you." She took the piece Adam had offered her and looked back at the strawberries. She picked up one and popped it into Adam's mouth. He should have one too, right?

Adam half choked on the strawberry- "Why does all the strawberry feeding stuff look like a scene out of a honey moon? And yes, I am protective of you- best to keep you protected extra well from what has happened to you in the past...Well I hope that Ryun and I get along well when I met your family?"

H-h-h-h-h-honeymoon?! Kurumi's cheeks flushed. Now she knew she wasn't anywhere near ready for that. Holding Adam's hand in public was still enough for her hair to turn pink. "I-I-I am sure you two would get along just fine," she stammered. If not, then his visit to her home was going to be veeeeeeeeery interesting. "You know, I can take care of myself," she said smugly. "I am not exactly your average damsel in distress."

"I know- I learned that the painful way last time we where in here- you threw me on the floor. I mean- I don't want to see you, of all people, getting hurt too much by bullies or anything...So- your pink hair and violet eyes are the decoration in this cupboard seeing as they are the romantic color of the day."He smiled at her. Was she waiting for a present from him also- because he had nothing at all, in fact he had fogotten today had been the 14th ...He'd need to whip somethingup on spot and she would hate that because there would be no meaning and value behind the present- something Kurumi always tried to teach Adam, apparently, message not received.

Oh, was her hair pink?! She threw her robe's hood over her head. "Physical stuff, I can handle for the most part...it's the emotional that I have a hard time with..." She smiled weakly. She noticed Adam swaying a bit. What was he nervous about? "You OK?" She asked putting her hand on his forehead. No fever, so at least he wasn't sick. "Ah, but Ryunosuke did mention that if there was a guy I was making all these goodies for and if they did nothing on White Day that he would beat them to a pulp." She said in a very matter of fact tone.

"What's white day? "Adam asked nervously , having an idea. Please don't let that be Japanese for Valentines Day- I wouldn't be a cute redhead pulp....

Adam didn't know about White Day? Did they not have that in Britain? "You know...February 14th is when girls give gifts to boys and March 14th is when boys return the favor," she said as though she were reminding Adam of something very important. "White Day."

Adam blinked . Was he just saved by this random White Day. "Oh yeah Right right- I just had a brain freeze moment- ok so on March 14th you'll get the present I had for you in my room...I hope it's value lasts until then..."He told her, smacking his head as if he were silly...

Oh phew, Adam did know what White Day was. "I'm looking forward to it," she smiled, but secretly hoped that he wouldn't go to too much trouble.

Yep me too, and finding it also...Now I really have to think about her present...OH NO- do I look weird like this just staring into space, smile Burn smile Burn... Adam smiled and patted her back.Thank god he had met the smart beautiful girl, she saved his butt without even knowing it

Kurumi eyed Adam as he did his awkward sitting dance. He sure was a strange one. She gave him a tight hug and then looked out the window in the broom cupboard to see the snow falling steadily outside.

"Whoa thanks sweetie..."he said smiling...He looked out the window. "Let me guess, because it usually doesn't snow in Japan, you like watching it here?"He liked the snow too, because that meant snowball fights...

Kurumi half rolled her eyes at him. There he went again with the nicknames. "No problem, sugarplum," she replied batting her eyelashes. Hopefully he would think that it sounded ridiculous. "Some places get snow...but my home doesn't get much," she replied. "It's beautiful and fascinating. No two snowflakes are the same."
