Run! Run! Run!

RUN!

He needed to get rid of the disgusting taste in his mouth like RIGHT NOW! So Josh ran as fast as he could in the sixth floor corridor towards the boys' bathroom where he could happily get rid of the disgusting Bertie Bott bean.

And once he was there he kicked the door open and immediately ran to one of the sinks.

Gaaaaa!

Carter was busy washing his hands when Josh burst through the door. "Umm... hey... how's it going?" he asked. "What's with the look on your face?" Maybe Josh had just heard about how Carter kissed Destiny over the summer. Carter had a similar look when he found out.

Spitting the light brown bean with the disgusting taste in the sink, Josh quickly started to wash his mouth. Bleh! He needed a toothbrush and toothpaste. Possibly now his mouth did stink!

Why on earth did he even try that bean anyway? It was apparent from its colour that it was disgusting. Plus it also meant that he had just ruined something he could feed to that Durmstrang boy.

Finally looking up the fifteen year old boy realised that his friend, Carter, was there and he was speaking to him. Then quickly he opened his mouth to answer his question right closed it when he decided to change his answer.

''I have just kissed Professor Lafay''

Bahahahahahaah!

Carter blinked a few times as Josh spit out a bean. Yes, that must have been what was bothering him.

"You have me beat." he said with a smirk. "I kissed Destiny over the summer." he said before busting up with laughter.

Yeah. Maybe now when he heard for real it wouldn't come as much of a shock. He assumed it would only be a matter of time before he found out... considering they all had the same friends.

Hehehehe...

Joining Carter, Josh laughed too. ''Kissed Destiny?'' Bahahahaha! The Gryffindor boy kept laughing until he realised what his friend had really said. He kissed....Destiny? Destiny? Seriously? He must have been kidding...buuut....who would joke about kissing Destiny for any reason?

Of what use that joke would be? Not really knowing what to say at first place Josh blinked at his house mate for a couple of times. Then ''Are you serious?'' said he looking puzzled.

Dang it. Carter was really hoping that Josh wouldn't notice what he said for awhile. But nope, he did notice.

He laughed awkwardly. "Of course not." he said. "Okay yes... but at least... it didn't happen on purpose..."

''How in the world...'' Josh began looking at the other Gryffindor boy with questioning eyes. ''Has anyone ever told you that you are a bad liar, Carter?'' he said instead of completing his first sentence when his friend seemed to deny what he had said about kissing Destiny.

Aaaand then he told the truth. He truly, really, seriously kissed DESTINY! ''What do you mean it did not happen on purpose?'' he asked looking quizzical as he imagined how someone could accidentally kiss a friend.

... Merlin! Maybe he shouldn't have mentioned it.

"Well... Destiny kinda sorta... gave me a love potion." he said. "So... yeah... It kinda happened..." he said running a hand through his hair.

Every answer Carter provided to each of Josh's questions only caused more questions to ask appear in the boy's mind. So still looking quizzical and surprised Josh looked back at the brown bean in the sink then back at his friend.

''This is funny'' then he said after a silence of a couple of minutes. ''Mate, i hate to ask too many questions because it makes me feel like a Ravenclaw but why...'' he stopped for a moment then went on ''...why did Destiny give you a love potion? Was she trying to check if it worked well? Or was she planning to give it to someone else?'' It must have been like that because everybody knew Carter had a girlfriend.

"Well... I was... err... mad at Marie at the time." Carter said. That much hadn't changed. He was still upset with her. "Destiny was trying to convince me to go see Marie..."

That was a... umm... good explanation. Right?

Diggy pushed open the door to the stall he had been sitting in. What he was doing in there was his business, but the conversation he had been listening too had caught his attention. He turned to the Gryffindor. "You kissed Professor Lafay?" he asked with a stunned expression on his face. They seemed to have forgotten the important issue here.

Josh blinked at Carter a couple of times as it still did not make full sense for him. Why did Destiny think a love potion could help her convince Carter? Did not she know that it woud not work this way? It must have been like that since he knew Destiny was not a bad girl and she would not steal her best friend's boyfriend.

''Okay. At least you look fine now'' Josh said eyeing his friend to see if, now, everything was okay with him then someone else spoke just when he opened his mouth to say something.

Smirking at the boy as he brought up his joke, Josh laughed loudly before he replied the Slytherin boy's question. ''Yeah, i did. It was an amazing experience. She definitely is a professional at the art of kissing'' Teheehehhe. Just imagine Professor Lafay heard him saying these, he would be in puure trouble.

Diggy had to hold onto the sink at these words. "So like you actually kissed her. Like your mom and dad kiss?" he world was turning upside down. "I'm going to be sick," he clamped his hand over his mouth and ran back into the stall he had been occupying before his world started to crumble. He retched into the toilet. It wasn't pretty. He had had a western omelet for breakfast.

He pushed open the door with one hand while wiping his mouth with the other hand. "And she didn't kill you?" he asked weakly.

"Look fine. Yes. Feel fine... ehh... that might take some time..." Carter said running a hand through his hair. A nice long time. And maybe 3 bottles of mouthwash. That would help too.

Carter smirked. "Are you kidding? She loved it." he said walking up to Josh and giving him a little punch in the arm. "He's already been given his O.W.L.S. and N.E.W.T.S. in potions because of it." He then had to turn his back on the other boys to keep them from seeing his face... which was gradually giving him away.

Well did he really take him seriously. Josh was not sure if he did but on the other hand he did not care. What mattered now that it had been a fun joke. Heheehhe. Kissing Lafay. The Slytherin boy was right; could anyone walk out Lafay's room alive right after kissing her?

''Nope, i am here alive as you can see'' Josh reassured the boy then he laughed out loud when he heard what Carter said. ''That's right'' he agreed with a wide smirk as his friend slightly punched him ''From now on there's no need for me to join the Potions classes to have house points. It also won't be necessary for me to do homework''

Diggy's mouth hung open at this news. This was just too much to take and he was going to ralph again if they kept this up. "So he kissed her and she's giving him his OWL and NEWT in potions?" he asked. His face turned greener than his robes and he ran back into the stall to throw up again. He was regretting that third omelet now.

He flushed the toilet again and emerged from the stall with a nice sheen of sweat covering his face. "So how did you get to kiss her?" he asked weakly. He needed to get this whole story.

Carter couldn't help but smile. "Yes Josh. Please do tell us the whole story. I'm afraid I haven't heard all of it." he said with a smirk. He crossed his arms and leaned against a sink and waited for what he assumed would be the best story of his life.

Watching the Slytherin throw up in the toilet at almost every single of his words on kissing Lafay, Josh grinned and leaned against the wall to stay in a more comfortable position and of course to look cooler. Of course he was always cool but this way he looked cooler. Plus there was no doubt that the joke of kissing Lafay made him look cooler. Hehe

And they wanted the whole story. That was fine with him. It was not so hard to write a romantic story, was it? Definitely not. So at first place the boy nodded at the others then cleared his throat to buy some time to make up a story before he began. ''Oh, it was a happy evening'' the Gryffindor boy started with a dramatic tone ''People might not know this fact but i do like brewing potions, whatever, at that evening i was planning to show her the last potion i brewed so i decided to pay a visit to her in her office. Yet, she was not in the office. What a surprise! Then i, with an odd instinct, decided to look for her in the grounds. And with another surprise i found her somewhere near the Forbidden Forest under the romantic evening light. She looked adorable. She looked even more adorable when she smiled at me, yes she is actually not the cold woman you know. After that romantic link up i showed her my potion and she just seemed to adore it. With that idea she also said that the one who brewed that adorable potion must have been adorable too, and you know, that was me. Since we were both adorable to each other at that moment it happened. Then we exchanged Bertie Bott beans, she wanted to keep my potion in exchange of more Bertie Bott beans and a chocolate frog. I accepted and since she was too busy she said she needed to leave. End of the story''

*huge grin*

Riley was in need of the restroom! After that embarrassing incident of banging on the Ancient Runes Professor's Office door thinking it was the loo, it was indeed time to find the real one! The gryffindor fifth year traversed to the sixth floor where he was told there would be a boys lavatory and was estatic when he saw the tiled room down the corridor.

After entering and finishing in the bathroom stall he walked to the sinks and heard an awful lot of noise going on behind him. He heard the words kiss and professor used in the same sentence and practically choked on air. He flung around, eyes wide and gauffed at the three boys behind him, two fellow lions and a snake. "Im sorry but are you SERIOUS?!" he whispered his grey eyes widening and his usually upturned nose and annoyed tone gone.

It was simple, no It was Perfect.

Lafay could not have played into their hands better. Seriously, an exuberence potion was the icing on the cake of the boy's plan, and if all went well, it would look like they had eaten a thousand cakes as well.

Patroclus had acted quickly, the potion was sure to have a limited affect, so he sprinted from the Dungeons to his Common Room, grabbed his half of the ingredients and then darted to the boys bathroom on the Sixth Floor.

Rushing into the last cubicle in the line, the boy set up his cauldron and burner, and snacked on the extra Krispy Kremes his mother had send by Owl Order.

Now where was Jacob!

Jacob slowly made his way down towards the bathroom. He did want to look like he was in a rush, well actually he should run, act like it's an emergency. He tried to hide his half of the ingredients, and his beaters bat as best he could. Then again there weren't to many people in the halls anyways.

He ran into the bathroom, and reached the last stall. Knocking 4 times he slid the ingredients under the door. "be quick." he whispered through the door. Sure Patroclus got to make the potion, but Jacob got to hit people with his beaters bat if he didn't persuade them not to come near. If he could remember that bubble head charm he would be able to be more persuasive with the little stinky lie. But what ever.

Not turning his eyes from the Bubbling Cauldron, Patroclus reached around and grabbed the bag that had slipped under the door.

"Remember if anyone sees you, you say you are fighting off Mrytle!" That Ghost came in use.....Occainsonally.

The troll Blubber was boiling nicely, the Bircorn horn had disovled and all Six Krispy Kremes were in the cualdron.

The next few steps had to be done in perfect order, stirring correctly and added the right amounts as well. He was nearly done, just the Vemon and Veela hair left to go!

Eeep! Myrtle! Where?

Oh right, plan. There was also the excuse of 'Jacob being Jacob' which has seemed to work for almost everything else.

Jacob listened closely for either for footsteps or a shreik of pain from some potion mishap. Then again, Patroclus was rather good at potions, so if that were to happen then Jacob certainly wouldn't be able to fix it. And the entire plan would collapse.

How optomistic.

Patroclus was almost done, snapping on his goggles, he added the Snake Vemon, and the Veela hair!

"Now just the spell and some candy, I decided on Chocolate Frogs, I hope thats cool," he didn't really care, he was the one after all brewing the potion.

Looking at his glowing red hand, Patroclus circled the cauldron with his wand and then with a down wards jad declared, "Altilis" and dropped in the chocolate.

The Tubby Potion was ready, but as for the Antidote. CRUD!

"Jacob I need another Cauldron......" he whispered, "Oh hold on, Nah, its cool!" The boy had brought a large class jar to tip the cauldron into.

"Scourgify," the Cauldron was ready for the Antidote Brewing!
