Dylan chuckled, "You have never heard of Red Riding Hood, but you have heard of barbie dolls?" He pulled out his wand and tapped the tiny wand. It grew to it's full size. "That better?"
Lexi laughed. Wow that felt nice. She smiled the most genuine smile she had given all day and said, "I saw a display once on my way to my father's parent's house. In a shop along the way. I thought they were ridiculous." That is the only way she had remembered them.
When he tapped the stick she watched as it grew to a full size broom in her hands. The wood was smooth and gleaming bright pink. "Dylan... I am speechless," she said as she opened and shut her mouth a few times. A pink broomstick. How bloody brilliant that was! She ran her hand across the sleek handle. "Wow Dylan this is balanced perfectly too. Great Merlin, this must have cost you a small fortune!" she said as she gently set it in the seat opposite them and hugged him fiercely.

Dylan smiled, "Have you seen the Action Man? They come with different military gear." All rather stupid though. The barbies were the worst though. He had seen them in a movie he saw once.
He beamed. Yay she liked it. "Who needs a savings account? It took a while to track down someone who made brooms. And to my specification as well." He knew someone that did. But he really didn't want to use them. He had to eventually. Noone else would do what he wanted. But he got it done anyway. And she did like it.

Eirian glared at Jayce and wiped away the tears that were forming in her eyes. "Guess," she snapped too angrily, glaring next at the too-loud, annoying owl. Holding her wand up to the bird, she muttered, "Silencio." In her defense, it wouldn't hurt the thing... Just make it silent. It could pretend to make all the sound it wanted, but she wasn't in the mood to deal with the hyperactive owl. For everyone's sake, Eirian hoped the train ride would be quick and painless.

Jayce continued to smirk at his best friend. Hmm.. so.. they'd be playing the guessing game eh? Jayce always liked guessing games.. although he would prefer people to tell him instead if they would. But most of the time, they didn't. This guessing game was a one worded guess anyway. So, it was either a yes or a no. And well, Jay would say, "No?" He grinned. Of course not. He knew he was right. She looked downright awful and upset.
The Gryffindor watched as she took her wand and pointed it at the darn bird. DUH! Why hadn't he thought of that? A silencing charm... Maybe he really should start attending more classes... It would make him somewhat more resourceful.. yet.. that's totally not how Jay was. He didn't like getting up early, and going to places he didn't want to be. "Ermm.. thanks." he replied, sitting up and resting his elbows upon his knees.
"He's sweet, isn't he?" Jayce chuckled and watched the birds beak move, yet no sound came out. Ahh. Peace and quiet. But not for long eh? Nothing ever lasts. That was face in Jay's little world because they had barely had a minute of silence when Thiago approached. Lips pressed together in a straight line, Jayce fought not glare at the boy. He simply nodded, remembering the statement from his childhood, 'If you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all,' and with that attitude, Jayce tensed in his seat and sat up further, refusing to relax with that boy in HIS compartment.

"You are extremely observant," Eirian muttered sarcastically, shaking her head. "I still have not found my pain medication. Do not mess with me, Jayce Cannon." Closing her eyes, she groaned. "Your owl is lucky I am not fond of poultry, otherwise it would be long gone." Snapping her jaws once for good measure, she rested her head on the cushion, ready to sleep. Then, the compartment door slid open, and, while Eiri just wanted to rest, her eyelids liften. Thiago... He had found them.

To the back! The very back! Legend was surprised to find that the very last compartment was empty. Opening up the glass door he tugged the animal carrier behind him. Hopefully Pluto would stay asleep and....not terrorize the rest of the train?
As weird as it sounded, Legend was tired, not like sleepy, but he just felt like an old man. Maybe this break would energize him, because right now his will to do anything was low.
Stupid OWL's. The fifteen year old signed and jumped onto the seat stretching his feel out. Mwaha, he owned this compartment.

Lexi laughed again and shook her head, "No I have never seen Action Man. The Muggle toys are just... stupid if you ask me. My grandparents bought me a doll that burped and said MAMA. I set it on fire..by accident. I left it to close to the grate." That was pretty useless. She had hated that doll from the moment she unwrapped the gift. Good thing she left it in the fireplace then. Teehee.
Lexi released him from the hug and eyed the broom again. Oh man! She was SO going to take such good care of it. "Who made it, Dylan? Gah it is so...perfect. I want to know who it was so I can use them for any of my broomcare needs. The person is genius," she said in an awed voice.

Lexi saw Legend as he slipped into the compartment opposite hers and smiled and waved. They had played quidditch together a few terms she was sure. Anyway. Nice fellow. Waves.
And now Fee had arrived at the back of the train and still no one she knew was in sight. Where were all the people?! Seriously a train ride without friends? How boring was that?!
Not cool at all.Fee hated that she couldnt find anyone. How depressing.Really.
" I am the sneaky one" Rex told Fee. " My best female friend can not try yo lose me" Rex laughed. " I am so happy that we are on break from school" Rex said to Fee. "Have you seen anyone else?" Rex asked Fee.

Amy walked through the train searching for a nice compartment to sit in, she found an empty one and slid into it. *sigh* she'd miss hogwarts sooo much, at least her and maisie could have a fun summer hanging out in diagon alley.Yay! she poked her head out of the compartment "Maisie? you coming?"Rose sccurried out of her pocket and onto her shoulder, she pet the little puffskein happily "heya buddy!"
maisie walked into the compartment after amy, as she sang, "i throw my hands up in the air sometimes sayin AH-OH! gotta let go! i wanna celebrate and live my life sayin AH-OH baby lets go!" maisie would miss hogwarts, but it was only three months, and it was three months of no learning!! what was better!? she flung herself onto the seat opposite and sat across it with her back on the window, "im soo glad we dont have to learn for three whole months! and, i get to spend it riding horses, and eating ice cream, and causing mischief with you!" she said, "soo, does your aunt live in america, here, or ohio?"
At first, Thiago only saw Eiri. The way she smiled in something like relief, and beckoned to him. He pushed his luggage into the rack, and sat down next to her, allowing her to lay her head on his shoulder, sighing in quiet relief as they touched. "'Brigada, minha senorita." After a minute or two, he opened his eyes. And saw Jayce. Staring at him. Which was most unpleasant, because it was less of a stare and more of a glare. Of Hate. He arched an eyebrow at the boy, who he had been introduced to a few times. But this amount of animosity was unexpected, and, he thought in his head, mildly uncalled for. But he sensed that Eiri kind of wanted them to be friends. So he wouldn't mention the glaring. "Jayce. How goes it, sir?"

With Nova wrapped in her arms and her fingers, hidden under her crossed arms, holding tight to the plastic container handle that held her blue and black frog, the fifth year badger girl slowly traveled down the train corridor in search of a familiar face or an empty compartment to sit in peace and quiet in, depending on how many more times someone decided to not pay attention and nearly back up into or walk straight into her.
Dark unruly, wild curls framing her face and falling into her dark brown eyes, Kaitlynnh made no move to swipe at the strand and continued on her way, shifting the tan bunny slightly to keep from dropping her. The school year had definitely been... something, all right. She was quite thankful it was over, the OWLs and social awkwardness and chaos in general. Glad the Costume Ball was past them, the term was history, and hopefully - Merlin help her, - she and Legend could avoid any awkward and or uncomfortable topics for the next few months at the very least.
It would help, being around her family again. The noise and love and noise and younger siblings running around and older siblings visiting with their spouses and their children tended to work as distractions. Plus, she missed them. A lot.
Reaching the end of the train and still not finding anyone, Kaitlynnh let out a loud sigh and turned into the open the glass door to her right, not noticing anyone inside the compartment until she actually stepped in. Then she spotted the Gryffindor sitting on one side, the Gryffindor boy she'd been meaning to avoid until after the train. Funny how that worked out. "I can't find Orlando." The Hufflepuff mumbled barely audibly, blinking her big brown eyes. Originally, that wasn't what she'd meant to say either. It was the first thing that came out when she opened her mouth. "Hey Legend." That was the first thing she'd intended to say.
Rather than being awkward, because Katie hated feeling awkward, she set Waterfall on the seat and pushed the container gently closer to the window before taking a seat herself, scooting back on the seat and over, enough so she could lean her head against the wall and peek out of the window, glancing at Legend afterward.

Jayce laughed. "Of course i am. I've always been pretty observant. Haven't you noticed? You've known me for.. how long?" he grinned broadly, joking around of course. He was never serious when it came to.. anything. And that was fact. "You haven't? Why not? Didn't you go to the nurse to get some more? What's wrong with you?" he purposely got up to poke her for not being smart about that.
Upon sitting down, he accidentally kicked the birds cage. Now that it was so quiet, he could barely remember it was there. It of course responded with more silent hoots of annoyance and the flapping of wings. He frowned. Jay really did feel bad for the poor bird. It was all trapped and shtuff. He began to imagine himself trapped in a cage and shivered. Totally didn't seem like fun. Especially when it was as small as that. Mehh.
"Oh hush. Leave the poor bird alone. It didn't do anything to YOU." he replied and crossed his arms, still glancing down at the bird. He kinda wanted to pet it, yet he knew better since Buzz was NOT a happy little owl at the moment.
Mehh. Thiago. Mehhh. Jay was still bitter from the summer experiences they had together. Grrr. He hated hearing them speak in Portugese or whatever. He didn't understand a word of it, and it REALLY bothered him to no end. Would he really have to know this guy for the rest of his life? If he stayed friends with Eiri, and if Thi and her really did get married, Jayce might shoot himself one of these days. And now he spoke? Well, at least his English had gotten better. That's for sure. "Fine i guess." he replied rather quickly and somewhat sharply. He also hoped Eiri was too out of it to sense his slight hostility toward Thi. "And yourself?" he asked, only because he had nothing else to do.

"Two years, filho," Eirian responded. "They were perscription. The nurse did not have them... I will have to talk to Grandmother before we leave to arrange for more." Merlin, she needed elephant tranquilizers to keep the pain down... "You know how much I hate owls. They are hideous creatures. Annoying, too." Glaring at the trapped monster, she thanked Merlin for its cage. Ha. Stupid bird. Hearing the tone of Jay's voice, Eiri's eyes widened. What was his problem? Without hesitation, she kicked his shin. "Be nice," she commanded. Perhaps he was antsy about finding his father, but it had nothing to do with Thiago, and had no right to act like it did.

He could have swore that he saw someone wave to him. Legend blinked, had he just passed by a friend or something? The Gryffindor jumped back up and poked his head out of the compartment, just enough so he could see who was in the other compartment. His gaze landed on the fellow Gryffindor, Lexi. Legend grinned and waved back. He hadn't spoken to her at ALL this year but that was nice of her. Pulling his head out of the corridor Legend closed the door and sat back down.

His gaze fell upon the window. Going back home seemed so good right now. Or maybe even going to Hawaii!??! No. He had to focus on boarding this summer, he had to get good, then he'd be sponsored and could even make it on the Italian National team. Kai, had owled him and said that he had made it on the French one. Insane.
The Gryffindor was brought out of his thoughts when the compartment opened. If he was surprised he did no job of showing it. His laid back expression remained the same, his emerald green eyes revealed no emotion at all.
No 'hi', no 'what's up?', no 'I'm sorry'. Nope. Katie's words to him was about Lando. "That's nice." He muttered turning back to the window. Where was Orlando? If he knew he didn't even know if he would tell her. Telling her would lead to the Hufflepuff getting out of his compartment, but that would also lead to her being happy upon finding the other Gryffindor. Nope. Katie didn't deserve to be happy when he was like this. "Nice second thought." He muttered bitterly.

That's nice? What in Merlin's name was HIS problem?! Biting down on her tongue hard, Kaitlynnh supressed a huffy noise and returned to staring at the window, taking a few calming deep breaths before allowing herself to respond to that. Unfortunately, when she did turn her head slightly to look at the green-eyed boy her stomach began to feel as though it were knotting. She frowned.
As he spoke up again, Katie's dark eyes narrowed. He had an attitude, she was NOT going to bite her tongue and hold her breath and ignore it anymore and she was definitely NOT putting up with it. "It wasn't a second thought! What's your problem, Legend?!" Katie snapped, her voice low as she absently shifted Nova into a more comfortable position on her lap.

Thiago grinned at her. "Eu amo voce mais." He trailed his fingertips up her as he looked back up at Jayce. He was still irritated, and now sendin back a biting, if none to original, response." He put his free hand up, palm out, in an I-surrender fashion. His memory reverberated back to the summer. He had been a bit biting. And he didn't care what Jayce thought. Just because Jayce held nothing but judgement in his eyes as he stared at him... didn't mean that he would engage... Thi felt his temper, calling to him from his years of a street urchin, a lowlife, who had always been judged, and trembled in anger... but then...
He let it go. It didn't matter. He had the love of his life on his sholder, he was in a place that he could have only dreamed of. He was happy. He would not let this irksome boy take that away from him. So he smiled. "If I was any better I couldn't stand it." He brushed his hand over Eiri's shoulder, for good measure. "Calma, senora." He whispered sweetly in her ear. "Para mi. Sim?"

Legend would bet 10 galleons that they were having more fun then him right now. "You're my problem. You always are. I try to act like me you hate me. I try to act nice you hate me. I can't do anything right huh Katie? I don't even care about your stupid crush I was just trying to help you." He frowned. Wasn't a second though his butt. Which was WHY before even saying Hi to him she had to point out the fact that they only reason she was here was because she couldn't find the other Gryffindor.
Yeah, he just wanted his friend...too be his friend. That was the way things were suppose to be right?

Yeah, he just wanted his friend...too be his friend. That was the way things were suppose to be right?
The irritation she felt instantly grew to anger as he began to mimick her, something he'd done since they were little kids that always put her in a foul mood. It was annoying and childish and unnecessary, but he insisted on being that way! FINE then, HMMPH! "I.. your.. URHG!" Setting Nova to her side, Kaitlynnh swept the loose curl from her face. Was he joking? He was being absolutely ridiculous, this was exactily why she'd planned to avoid him. She had said one thing, and he snapped at her for no reason and brought up the reason vicious man-eating butterflies attacked her from the inside when he wasn't making her want to shove him into the lake as a snack for Barty the giant squid. Honestly, Katie wasn't sure which was WORSE!
Standing up from her seat because this was NO time to feel small and short compared to the blonde, Kaitlynnh crossed her arms and glared. "I'M your problem, am I? Well FINE THEN! Legend Chosen the last time I said I hated you was a couple of years ago and you DESERVED to be told that then. I do NOT hate you so you can stop it right now, I do NOT act like I hate you and I never said THAT either!" Katie stomped her foot in agitation when he suggested she believed he couldn't do anything right. He was implying things and putting words in her mouth and she didn't like it.
There. He said it. Because CLEARLY her 'mysterious crush' was on his mind. Of course he was. Katie had known this was going to happen the night of the Ball, just before she'd left. She had been right. Not telling him about the crush - or rather WHO the crush was on, - was suppose to save whatever was left of their friendship, but it wasn't. Those stupid feelings were causing a mess between them despite him not knowing the full truth, and what was she to do about it? It wasn't fair. Either way, she was going to lose him. "I already told you, you can't help me. You don't understand. But fine, Legend. You really want to know who I like, who I can't tell because it would ruin everything?" Kaitlynnh asked quietly, gritting her teeth. She was giving up. This was it. He wanted to know? Fine. "Don't say I didn't warn you."

"okay, well, there a many things we should do..like dine and dash, go to a robe selling place, and leave all the robes in the dressing robes, oh! does diagon alley have a bathroom!?" she asked, as she laughed and smiled, "oh no, i hope we'll be able to hang out all summer even though you live here, and i live across a ocean! can you swim?" she asked as she smiled
"course I can swim, hehehe" she smiled "but I'm sure my aunt wouldn't mind if you stayed at our house or I went to yours" "that way we could still hang out all summer!" she pulled a couple chocolate frogs out of her pocket "you want some candy?" she asked Maisie happily "I got chocolate frogs and droobles vest blowing gum"

A smile of satisfaction appeared on his face. Yeah, for once Katie had run out of words and HE was the one who caused it. It was obviously an accomplishment.
The feeling didn't last long though, as Katie quickly caught herself and quickly began to yell her face off. "That is what I said isn't it?" He said coolly and she repeated what he had said about her being his problem. Legend signed, looking back in the hole. Yes..this compartment wasn't cool anymore at all. "That was the last time you said it..." He muttered quietly. "Actions speak louder than words, and the way you act...yeah..that's hate." And friendships were not build on hate! Except theirs...which was probably why it was broken down and built up again, a little smaller and weaker every year.
She was going to tell him? Legend turned his face, looking straight at the sixteen year old. Brushing strains of hair out of his face he nodded."I said I didn't care but sure..be my guest..." Didn't matter now did it? Term was over.

Actions speak louder than words, yeah. He was right. Even more so, he was one to talk. "You were mean. Really mean. And when you weren't being mean, you were purposely trying to annoy me and make me angry. What do you expect?" Because really, the Hufflepuff wanted to know the answer to that. Did he really expect her not to react the way she did, when his actions weren't nice either? And WHY was he bringing it up NOW? Why did he care NOW?
"I don't hate you Legend. Believe whatever you want to believe, I don't care. But I don't, or I didn't. I'm not sure anymore, nothing is making sense and it hasn't for a while now and you are doing nothing but making it a whole lot worse. You're just confusing things more and more, and.. and.." Sighing, Kaitlynnh dropped her arms to her sides and shrugged, defeated. "I don't know."
He wanted to know. He didn't outright say it, actually he practically said the opposite. He was playing it cool, but he obviously wanted to know who it was. Turning her head a tiny bit to the side to look at him, her expression serious, her quiet voice hinting at no particular emotion, Katie found herself crossing her arms over her chest again, murmuring, "It's you."
She had warned him. And now it was over.

Legend's mouth formed a small 'o'. Purposely trying to annoy her? How...did she even find that out? "You realized my plan?" He asked slowly. It had kind of fizzled out at the end of the year...but...it was his plan for basically the whole term. Or was she even talking about the other times?? He shifted in his seat. Had he just given away...well everything? "I only annoyed you when we were younger...and because I knew you would get worked up. I was being considerate. If you didn't express your anger somehow you'd implode." Yeah, that basically explained the other times. "And this term....I.." He was being nice to make her mad? Yeah? "I just wanted to see what would happen if I was always...nice to you and didn't let you express your anger." He wanted to see her implode. And she was getting there. Until the whole crush thing came in the way.
He didn't even understand what Katie was getting at anymore. She didn't hate him? Or she didn't hate him before? Or was it that she didn't care? He was confused. Before he could get anything out to ask her what in the world she was talking about she said it. The person she liked.
Him.
The room grew silent.
Legend shook his head slowly, eyes never leaving the girl. She was...messing with him obviously. He closed his eyes slowly then opened them to look back toward the door. Where was Orlando when you needed him? Legend's brain couldn't process this. It was cruel. It wasn't even a funny joke. "Your messing with my head. Stop it." He said coldly, unable to get anything else out. Katie Mae...actually LIKING him? Um no, that didn't happen. This was a sick joke that Katie wanted to play on him.

Eirian giggled and smiled, kissing his cheek gratefully. He seemed to light up the room... "Eu te amo, meu amor." And then, as his eyes flickered to Jayce, so did Eiri's. Oh God. The world was going to blow up. Or... Or only hers. Please, for Merlin's sake...

"Para mi. Sim?"
Jayce frowned and stared down at his bird. Now.. what was the unsilencing charm? Hmm.. He wasn't quite sure what it was exactly so.. this ought to work. The boy pointed his wand at the bird and uttered, "Finite incantatem." Sure enough, the bird had been unsilenced and was hooting happily. With a smirk upon his face, he lifted the cage and put it beside himself. Oh, wonderful bird. He smiled over at Buzz fondly. How quickly that hate had become love once more.
"Oh really? So.. she had none? Then.. where in Merlin's name did you get the originals? Weren't they PAIN meds subscribed to help you with your ARM and NOTHING else?" It made no sense to Jay. None at all. "Whatever." he frowned and stared out the window finding that the squawking was somewhat soothing compared to the OTHER voices in the compartment. "Yeah, i know." he sighed. "But they aren't ALL hideous or annoying. Especially Buzz." He was just.. having a rough day. Poor thing didn't get a chance to say goodbye to his owl buddies.
OWWW! Merlin's pants! Eiri just kicked him. What was this? Pick on Jayce day? Or was it because her boyfriend was here that she was acting all different? Yeah, whatever. He could feel his emotions rising, anger and all, Jayce glared outside of the window debating whether he should leave the compartment or not. He was almost positive he would find SOMEONE to sit with that wouldn't abuse him or anything like that. Heck, he could probably find FIVE. He didn't HAVE to be nice. Jay didn't WANT to be nice. It was just.. one of those days. An all too familiar one where being alone was his best bet. Maybe he should find his own compartment...
Jayce briefly glanced back toward Eirian and Thiago and frowned deeply. The boy ignored the anger he saw flashing in Thiago's eyes. He huffed out a breath, and looked over at Buzz, his awesome little owl who seemed to like hearing himself hoot and holler. 'If i were any better i couldn't stand it.' he mimicked inside his head. Merlin.. the boy was mushy and soft.. and.. weird.. And he was being all touchy feely with Eirian right in front of Jay. It made Jayce want to leave even more, yet he couldn't bring himself to do it.

"Para voce, Thi," Eiri murmured to her love, looking him up and down. "Para voce." Chuckling, she rolled her eyes and added, "Jayce é possessivo, apenas como mim. Não gosta de compartilhar de seus amigos." Eirian laughed. She remembered when the roles were reversed. Those had been terrible times for her, and she imagined Jayce wasn't enjoying a taste of his own medicine. Oh well. She'd put herself in the middle, but only minimally, as to save both of their butts. Neither of them had a backbone willing to bend or break down, and she knew neither of them would back down if it came to it. Urgh. They were too similar for their own good.
Eirian glared as Jayce displayed his rather terrible mood. Hey, she didn't do anything... Besides kick him... Urgh. The owl was making sounds again. Why!?"Whatever you say, filho," she murmured, eying the bird. Maybe if she glared hard enough at it. When Jay spoke again, the glare was turned to him. What was his problem!?!?!??!? If he was going to be like this all summer, she might just give up on escaping her grandmother and stay at Plas D.
