Jayce strolled up into the train all sad like. He didn't want to leave. Not yet at least. This term had gone by way too fast for his likings. It was just.. it was sad and terrible and just plain upsetting. But he wouldn't cry. Not Jay, he never cried. Well, barely ever. The fifth year Gryffindor walked all the way to the back of the train with his hands in his pockets and staring at the carpet as he shuffled his feet along it. Who knew he'd miss it so much? He wasn't this upset last year, why the change?

Maybe he was all too emotional because of the things he would do over the summer. Heck, he might even have to throw a party or two once he got back. But for now, Jayce went all the way to the back of the train, opened up the last compartment, holding on to Buzz's cage tightly as the bird hooted up at him.

Setting the cage on the ground, he scooted over towards the window and stared out it. On a positive note, at least he'd get to see Opal.

Luna opened the compartment door. Yess!! It was empty. She really hated being in a compartment with strangers. She put her trunk down and she put Midnight's cage on the ground. "Hey Bonnie, is this ok?" she asked her best friend.

Eirian spotted Jayce as he moped onto the train. Merlin, he couldn't have waited for her? Grunting, she followed moodily, dragging all of her possessions with her one good arm. Grumble. Once he had disappeared into the farthest most compartment - was he trying to make her life difficult? - she herself disappeared into it as well, whimpering as she hit her broken arm against the door in her attempts to pull everything in. Collapsing on the seat across from Jay, Eiri fought the tears of pain and settled into the cushion. Sitting down felt nice...

Amy walked through the train searching for a nice compartment to sit in, she found an empty one and slid into it. *sigh* she'd miss hogwarts sooo much, at least her and maisie could have a fun summer hanging out in diagon alley.Yay! she poked her head out of the compartment "Maisie? you coming?"Rose sccurried out of her pocket and onto her shoulder, she pet the little puffskein happily "heya buddy!"

Savannah walked to the back the the train. She's ready to go back home, and happy about it. Let's face it, she's got no friends at Hogwarts anymore. Savannah walked in to an empty compartment and sat gloomly. She covered her face with her hands.

Jayce ignored Buzz's hoots of displeasure. He knew the bird hated being caged, but Jay didn't want to keep him in there any more than the darn owl wanted to be there. So, he GLARED at the owl, hoping it would shut up. But of course, glaring wouldn't shut the owl's trap. But.. a spell might.. Nahh. He wouldn't do that.. that would be.. cruel or something. Frowning and still glaring at the bird, he slumped down in his seat.

But that didn't last long. He sat up quickly as he heard commotion coming from outside the compartment. Who in merlin's name could make that much noise? And just as the compartment opened, his question was answered. Of course it had been Eirian. No normal person could make such amounts of noise without being injured and practically handicapped with only one arm. The Gryffindor couldn't help but utter a small laugh as he simply sat back and watched her struggle.

"Having fun there?" he questioned her with an eyebrow raised and a slight smirk. Merlin, WOULD HIS BIRD SHUT UP?

Well, this was it! Hogwarts was over with and now all that was left was one final train ride on the Hogwarts Express. It was definitely depressing to think that he wouldn't be coming back here next year, but Aiden was somehow content with everything. He really did have a great time while at Hogwarts, and he was ending on a good note. Now he was ready for the next chapter of his life. With all these thoughts passing through his mind, plus all the rowdy students' voices ringing against his eardrums, the Hogwarts graduate slid open the door to an empty compartment and shoved his things up in the storage area.

He sunk down onto the seat and propped his feet up across from him. Hmm, hopefully Ella would wander in soon enough.

Eirian glared at Jayce and wiped away the tears that were forming in her eyes. "Guess," she snapped too angrily, glaring next at the too-loud, annoying owl. Holding her wand up to the bird, she muttered, "Silencio." In her defense, it wouldn't hurt the thing... Just make it silent. It could pretend to make all the sound it wanted, but she wasn't in the mood to deal with the hyperactive owl. For everyone's sake, Eirian hoped the train ride would be quick and painless.

Amy looked out of her compartment and saw a sad girl sitting alone in a compartment "hey you!" she smiled at the girl "wanna sit with me and my friend?"

Iris dragged her trunk onto the Hogwarts express. She stood in the corridor, looking down towards the back of the train. Did she want to sit in her usual compartment, or was she going to sit in the Prefect compartment… She sighed and took out her wand. Now that her trunk was levitating, she carried it with ease to the very end compartment. Nudging the door open with her free hand, Iris slipped into the small room and levitated her trunk onto the baggage rack. She sat down in the seat next to the window, and looked out onto the platform. Goodbye Hogsmead, until September.

She sat cross legged on the seat, leaning against the wall instead of the back of the seat. Raising her wand, Iris conjured up a series of butterflies, in various colours and sizes. All of them were pretty butterflies though. None of them were of ugly colours. All together, she’d conjured about 10 butterflies, and they all flew about the compartment, but mainly above her head.

Maybe… Maybe Iris could just sit here for a little while. Or at least until some of her friends found her, then she’d be able to go to the prefects compartment without having to take her trunk. And until then, she’d conjure up some more pretty things. The prefect entertained herself for a little while, conjuring up new butterflies and using colour-changing charms on them. Iris unfolded her legs and lay down on the cushioned seats, so that she was looking up at the ceiling. Then she resumed her game with the butterflies.

If anyone were to come into the compartment know, they’d probably think Iris was a little weird. After all, how many other 16 year-olds lie down in their compartment, conjuring up butterflies? And she was focusing on the butterflies that much that Iris probably won’t even notice you enter the compartment.

Thiago heard voices in the compartment next to his. He had gotten settled really very early. But these were very familiar voices. He confirmed it when the voice cast a silencing charm, moving around the Latin naturally. He stood, grabbed his rucksack and large suitcase, and slid into the compartment Eiri and Jayce were currently sharing. He leaned against the door frame. "Room for one more?"

And now Fee had arrived at the back of the train and still no one she knew was in sight. Where were all the people?! Seriously a train ride without friends? How boring was that?!
Not cool at all.Fee hated that she couldnt find anyone. How depressing.Really.

Ella quite literally skipped to the Hogwarts express. It was clear that gloom was roaming around, mainly for the seventh years. Ella wasn't a seventh year, but she was still leaving, so she was sorta in the same boat. But she didn't care about leaving, it's only school for Merlin's sake. Going straight to the back of the train like she usually did, Ella's eyes looked through each compartment window for someone that she knew. Riding home alone wasn't great.

She smiled when she found the most perfect person to sit by, then opened the door. "Hey, love. How are you doin'?" She said happily, sitting beside him after pecking him on the cheek. She knew that Aiden wasn't feeling too good about leaving school. She didn't understand why, but she was still going to be a shoulder to cry on, so to speak.

Lexi finally found an empty compartment and dragged her things inside and plopped down. She was so nervous and upset and a multitude of other emotions all rolled into one. She sighed as she tucked her trunk away and then stuck Wasabi's cage in the seat beside her. Looking out the compartment window into the corridor she waited for Finlay to come along. Gah this was going to majorly suck.

This was really it. The end of the year had finally come and Brittany didnt know if she was ready for it to end. Mainly because she hadnt gotten to saying all of her goodbyes and she couldnt bare not too. she walked down looking for an empty compartment until she noticed one of her best friends. It was fee. Even though they hadnt seen much of each other lately those two being friends would never change. She opened the door and basically tackled her slytherin friend. "Oh feeeeee I thought i wouldnt see you before i left." she said hugging her with a grin

End of term. They were going home. Finlay had the general smile on his face as he wandered along the train. There was only one thing troubling him though. Lexi. She hadn't been happy for a while, and things were so strained between them, he didn't even know if they were going to last much longer. He probably would've given up on anyone else by now, but he actually cared so much about Lexi, he couldn't giive up on her. Ahh there she was. He pushed the door open to the compartment she was in, and frowned. "Lex?" She looked really upset.

Lexi tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear and looked up at him as he came into the compartment. Sighing heavily she tried to smile but it sort of magled on her face. "Finlay. I need to speak with you about Greece. Other things too. Important things. Please sit down and listen to me," she said in a soft voice. She was afraid to speak too loudly for fear that her voice might break and betray the emotions that were rolling around inside of her.

Had he done something stupid, upset her again? He hadn't seen her at the feast, and he had been trying really hard to not upset her over the last few weeks. Finlay was very confused. He stared at her for a few seconds, before sitting down next to her, taking her hand. He had a feeling that this was leading some where bad, and part of him wanted to run away. But he wasn't that person anymore. "Whats wrong sweetheart?" He asked, using his other hand to stroke her cheek gently.

Lexi looked at her hands folded in her lap and cleared the lump from her throat as Finlay stroked her cheek. Crap. Double crap. "Finn... I-I-i got a letter from my father saying that something had come up and that the holiday was being postponed indefinitely. Aaand," she blinked back the tears that were there, resigned not to cry anymore. "And I can't do this anymore. I need a break... from u-u-us," she stammered on in a small voice refusing to meet his eyes.

The holidy was being postponed...that was too bad. They'd still have the summer to spend together though, so that was okay. Or so it would've been, if she hadn't wanted to break up. His hand stopped stroking her cheek, but rested there instead, as he watched her, not meeting his eyes. She wanted to break up. After all they had been through? After all he'd given up for her. "You want to break up?" Seriously? He let his hand drop down from her cheek, and he just stared at her. He couldn't actually believe it. "If thats what you want Lex..."

Lexi closed her eyes and waited for the shouting to start. That was how he handled most things with her anyway. Only... he didn't shout. She opened her eyes and finally looked at him. "I think that is best. We can't continue making eachother feel like crap all of the time. I have enough emotional drama in my life as you well know," she said softly. "I still care so much for you... I just need some time to get my bearing about myself, Finlay," she said in all honesty. She then reached across and cupped his cheek with her right hand. "I love you you know."

Fee noticed a girl approaching and vouldnt help but squeal when she noticed who it was.
"Oh my glitter",she said happily,"Briiittt."
They hadnt seen eachother for soo long ansd it just wasnt cool In the beginning of the term they had been inseperable.Stupid house seperation.

"How is it going?",Fee smiled,"i missed you terribly."

Part of him wanted to fight for her. To tell her that she was making a mistake, but he couldn't. He just couldn't. She looked so upset, and he figured maybe she'd get better, if he wasn't around. He pulled her closer, wrapping his arms around her in a hug. He cared about her a lot, he didn't care if she was dumping him, he still wanted to make sure that she would be okay. "I understand Lex..." It did feel a bit odd, but he did understand. He hated knowing that he made her feel like crap. However much it hurt his heart he knew she'd be better off without him. He pulled back a bit, so that he could look down at her. "I'll still be here for you Lex. I will always be here for you....when you're ready." He smiled weakly at her, before leaning down, and kissing her softly. "I will always love you." He stroked her cheek once more before standing up.

"aww I missed you too." she said giving her friend some personal space now that all the hey's and hi's were out the way. "I wast sure if i was going to be able to find you before we got off of the train." she said "I was terribly late to the feast so i didnt get to say any goodbyes there." she looked out the comparment window watching the scenery fly by. Yea they really were on there way home. And even after she gets off the train her orney wouldnt end there. she would have to hop on a plane to make it home so she still had a long ways to go.

"Next Year we definetly will have to find a way to hang out more." she added with a smile
