Another year at Hogwarts was underway, which also meant it was time for another lesson of Arithmancy. Having awoke early that morning, Fina headed down to make sure the classroom was set up. Several rows . . . ten in a row. Still perfect.
Cracking open the windows just a bit to create some airflow, Fina then took a seat behind her desk and began flipping through a textbook. Without looking up, she flicked her wand and the door opened allowing students to enter. Flicking it again behind her, words appeared on the board behind her:
Quote:
Please take your seats. The lesson will begin shortly.
ooc: You should know my rules by now. If you don't, please familiarize yourself with them before posting.
Class has begun. Late admittance will not be tolerated, so please pretend as though your character has been here the whole time. =)
Just as easily as she used magic to make the maze appear, Josephina flicked her wand and transitioned the maze back into the normal Arithmancy classroom. "Well that was a fun journey! I can tell some of you know about your twos and sevens, while others need to reread the textbook. Before I assign the homework, as promised ... I have a little treat for you all."
Dramatic pause.
"Ice cream!!" Fina exclaimed, bringing out two HUGE tubs of ice cream. "Take a bowl and help yourself to some ice cream and toppings. I shall assign the homework in a few moments while you all recover."
Ice Cream...!!
She smiled happily. She grabbed a bowl and filled it with ice cream. She passed the toppings. 'Well. Plain ice cream always the best' she thought.

"Very well then, you all are dismissed when you've finished with your ice cream. Don't forget to copy the homework down." Fina said as she flicked her wand and the homework appeared on the board. "If you need inspiration or just a quiet place to think, or even if you want to research more in-depth Arithmancy numbers, then I encourage you all to drop by the White Jasmine Chamber in this corridor."
Freya began to copy her homework on a piece of parchment. After finished copying the homework, she cleaned up her desk and put all her belongings to her bag. "Thank you so much for the ice cream, Professor Hadley and I've a great time today. So once again thank you, Professor." she said before leaving the classroom.

Carr sat down at her desk again after reaching the end of the maze, looking both thoroughly defeated but also quite proud of her accomplishments. Indiana Jones she was not, but she had managed to complete the classroom assignment with only a minimal amount of bruising. She stood up when the ice cream was being served and smiled at the professor. "I'm diabetic, so I can't have any ice cream, professor. The chocolate from earlier is probably all I should have today. But it was a lovely gesture for you to provide it for us. I'm going to go on to Potions, now."
Carr gathered her books and zipped them up in her beg before throwing it over one shoulder and walking out of the classroom.

Josephina nodded. The boy was probably right . . . she - as a grown witch - could probably get away with transporting Jacob in the air, but for young witches and wizards, probably not the brightest of ideas. "Good point." Flickering her wand, she muttered the incantation and a stretcher appeared. "You can take it from here?" she asked, quite confident in a fourth year's ability to produce a levitation charm. That was first year material.
ooc: k. i'll conjure the stretcher. but my time online is gonna be limited the next few days, sooo behave loverlies <33
Nodding, JD smiles lightly, Perfect. "Thank you, professor, that'll help a lot."
Swishing his wand he flicks it, raising Jacob off the floor gently and placing him on the stretcher easily. Bending down he makes sure Jacob's arms are on the stretcher before levitating the stretcher itself. "Ellie, how about ye, make sure he stays level, walking next te 'im."
Making his way to the door everyone seemed to be going through and the professor had come through, he finds it the exit. Levitating Jacob all the way through and out the classroom door with Ellie walking along side.
ooc: no probleml :o) mine is too, we're out of town lol
The block she faced now was a 7-block for sure; it had number seven engraved on it. It was a weird shaped block. It had many engravings that split it into many sections- small and big. Louisa was thinking fast. It was a 7-block which meant it had something to do with thoughts, wisdom, and ration.
"Maybe I should transform it to be like number seven." She mumbled to herself. Pointing her wand at the block, "Bombarda!" The spell hit the right lower part of the block and destroyed it. Another spell just close to the previous one hit the block, another one… and another.
Three minutes had passed before Louisa has finished bombing the unnecessary parts of the block so that she formed the shape of number seven. She stepped back and looked at the almost perfect seven. She smiled satisfied with her work as the block vibrated and was gone.
Louisa walked on for a bit before she turned to the left, then right, then left… And then the Professor dismissed them all.
The little girl sighed slightly as she listened to the teacher and nodded. Louisa picked up her bag and walked to the door, "Thank you, Professor. Have a nice day." She said passing the teacher.
Evan grinned at Marie when she saved them from the maze. Just as they got out, the maze disappeared too. Good job, he thought. They made it out without any kind of accident. Quite pleased with their team work, he said "We made a good team, don't you think?" to Sophia and Marie before going off to get his ice-cream. "Thanks professor for the fun lesson and ice-cream." He smiled before going to his desk to copy the homework. Yeah, definitely he was going to check out the White Jasmine Chamber once he finished his ice cream.
Josephina really didn't want to leave the boy because he was injured and all that . . . yet they were his housemates, so she doubted they would do anything to harm the boy? Then she looked up to see another girl . . . a first year who had breezed through the maze, offer help too. Three was excessive, even if the class was nearly over.
"JD and Ellie can take the boy down," Fina finally conceded. "Be careful. And thank you for the offer, Pam. It is appreciated, but I do believe your housemates can handle it. Feel free to visit after the lesson is over... Perhaps bring some of the surprise." She winked at the girl, as she watched others reaching the exit.
Arm? Bleeding? Oh Merlin, they were just NUMBERS !! Not bloody creatures!!! Seriously, if these kids were getting injured from numbers, she didn't want to think about the accidents happening in Magical Creatures lessons. That was when she looked closely at the 'blood' dripping.
"Oh silly girl. Your arm is fine. It's just strawberry syrup. It'll go great with the surprise treat," she nodded at the girl, watching as more reached the exit. Some did not though, which was okay too.
Just as easily as she used magic to make the maze appear, Josephina flicked her wand and transitioned the maze back into the normal Arithmancy classroom. "Well that was a fun journey! "Right." Ellie went up to be beside the stretcher. "Thanks Professor." For letting her out of this tortureeeeee.
Haha. She was just toooo good. She'd have to remember to thank Jacob loads later. For crashing into the wall. Heh.

Yay! Ice cream! Rowan quickly filled a bowl with ice cream and carried it back to her seat. I think I'll eat then copy down the homework, she thought to herself. Life's short. Eat dessert first.
