"Well, I wouldn't want to cross it. I mean we could get shot backwards or something. And get points taken away. I mean have you seen? Slytherin is the ONLY house without negitive points. Grrrr." She sighed and looked up at the goblet, In sort of a trance. The fire was a pretty color. Blue-y, green-y and purple-y all in one. She watched as a few more people entered their name in the goblet. "Why would people want to enter their name? I mean it's dangerous!! I wouldn't want to do it. Nope nope nope." Again she shivered at the thought of her friend Ty entering. |
Emma stayed outside the Age Line and waited for David to catch up. He could enter because he was going to be seventeen in two days. She took a seat and waited for him to put his name into the goblet. She pulled out her book, which was in her bag, and started to read some of it. |

Once putting his name in, he walked over to Emma, still pretty confident. "Hey." he said, with a grin. "What are you reading?" he asked, taking a seat by her. Maybe they'd see some more people. |

My heart... problems... couldn't handle a lot.... could... die... not... trying out for Quidditch, because of it. I think... not too long. Don't tell anyone." Oh, innnnteresting. He kept his eyes on the cup, not looking at the tragic Snake Prefect. The little Ravenclaw's eyes were wide. Soooo.. The Slytherin Prefect had heart problems. And he wouldn't be trying out for Quidditch because of it... and he might not be around for too long. But no one was supposed to know? WOW. Oh, WOW. Eli's mind worked it out quickly, inventing information to fill in what he did not know: The Slytherin Prefect was DYING of an incurable heart problem. He wasn't supposed to play Quidditch and couldn't handle much at all, and he didn't have much time to live. He should actually be in hospital, probably. And it was a SECRET. Just wait until he told Ellie this! Eli wondered if Professor Vindictus knew. The Slytherins would do ANYTHING to win- what if the Prefect tried to play anyway? He could die on the pitch! Eli had to tell Professor Vindictus, to save the Prefect from his own Slytherin Ambition. He put Puck the mouse back into his pocket, waiting to talk to Adrienne so he could go see Professor Vindictus. He kept glancing over at the Prefect, though, and staring at him. He couldn't help it. What if the kid keeled over dead right there on the spot? |

O_______o Leilani gaped. Oh nooooooow he was in for it. Dude! Jimbo was a freaking bird!! It was almost hysterical actually, though it scared her. This teacher was almost worse than Lafay... No, not possible. She had to stifle a laugh as Iris asked what they were going to do with him. "Lafay." Mabey that would teach him not to mess with age lines. Although so far, being turned into a bird was working out alright. Suddenly, Lani felt a newfound respect for this teacher. Y'know, even though she had turned Jimbo into a green birdey... That kinda added to the respect factor though. |

"You mean Slytherin is in the lead so far? Grrrr indeed! How can we get house points?" asked Liz with a look of pure determination on her face, "We should go check out the house points next." Liz turned to Pam, but she seemed hypnotized at the fire. Liz was counting the seconds that this continued when someone else put their name in. Didn't these people know what they were doing?! Setting themselves up for death? Well, probably not death, but still! Pam seemed to agree with her, too, "I wouldn't either! I'm waaay too cautious for that! I'm more of a spectator. I like to watch and cheer on my team." Liz watched a few more people put their names into the flaming goblet when a thought occurred to her; what if the victor from Hogwarts was from Ravenclaw? "What if the person for Hogwarts is from our house? I think I would be proud. But super worried. Which house do you think is most likely to win?" |
Quote:
"You said you wanted to go look at the house points? Can we go now? I mean, as much as I'd love us to win and all, this is giving me very bad vibes." Tears started forming in her eyes, she whiped them away hoping they didn't show. She didn't know why, she guessed it was because the thought of dieing scared her. That and hights. She shivered again, Is it really this cold? she thought. |
Was he really doing this? Was he really going to put his name in the Goblet of Fire, hoping to be chosen to be Hogwarts' champion? Well, he was almost eighteen years old. And this opportunity was an once-in-a-lifetime thing. So he couldn't pass it up. Honestly, Kel was more than a little scared as he stepped unceremoniously over the age line. He stood in front of the goblet for a long while, before dropping a piece of parchment into the flames. Quote:

This time it was Pam that was in need of a hug, "It's okay," said Liz, draping an arm around her, "Let's go see the points." She gave Pam a squeeze and began to walk her over to the hourglass. She really needed a distraction. 'If just seeing people put their names in hurts her this much, I can't imagine what it'll be like when the tournament really begins.' Liz pondered. |

Brittany walked towards the goblet of fire, but careful enough not to get close to the stupid age line, for her daily look at the goblet. She saw lots of other students there as well. She looked to see if there were people she knew but no such luck |
Text Cut: Pompoms "Excellent." Kellen grinned at both of them. Really, it didn't matter if Raiden wasn't paying attention any more, because Raiden wanted to be a champion, didn't he? This was for the people who weren't going to be champions, and therefore they were allowed to be more enthusiastic about it. "We should probably wait until the first-of-the-term mob has cleared out, and then go talk to Professor Carlton." Really, Kellen wasn't much for going to see professors right at the beginning of the school term, before classes had even started. That was when the new students and the keeners went, and from where he was standing if he were a professor there could only be so many times he could outline the curriculum before he started getting annoyed. Hence leaving a letter for a certain professor, instead of asking outright. Quote:

Kellen gave Arya another nudge. Was it house-dependent? Would she turn into a canary? These were all questions that needed an answer! Quote:

Skye decided to come down and watch the foreign students and the of-age Hogwartians put their names in. Maybe this way she'd get a better idea of who was and was not from Hogwarts. And plus, she wanted a chance to speak French, so she might as well try and talk to someone from Beauxbatons. For some reason, she didn't feel as shy around the foreign visitors. She sat down on the floor, but out of the way of the hopeful people entering their names, and well away from the Age Line. She had no desire whatsoever to enter. Oh sure, it'd be cool to get chosen, and cooler still to win, but she wasn't old enough yet and anyway, she'd rather stay safe her first year here. |
He couldn't stop staring at the Slytherin Prefect. He knew it was rude but he just couldn't stop. He didn't want to miss it if the boy keeled over or something. Stare stare staaaaaare. It was therefore rather ironic that his preoccupation with the Prefect, coupled with a poor vantage point, meant he missed the boy transforming into a bird altogether. Pity. |
Hugo looked at the Goblet. He was so lucky to be able to see this tournament. For a couple of minutes, he just stared at the Goblet as people (tried to) put their names in it. He took a journal out his bag and started to draw the goblet. |

"I have no idea." he said looking around for people who have entered. "I imagine all the Prefects have entered. Maybe it will be one of them." he said with a shrug. He then watched the French girls again. "Quick, what's the word for hello? Bon-door? Right?" he asked. Maybe he could get their attentions as they were passing by again. |

"Hey! Just wanted to say good luck." she said, giving him a friendly smile. "I don't think we've met before. I'm Emma." She gave him a smile. |

Then she was up and went over to another guy. Fratenizing with the enemy, are we?, he thought good naturedly. He laughed to himself and watched her talk to him. |

SPOILER!!: you three When the Bird!Jimbo was picked up, it seemed very startled. Was he going to get hurt? As Giant!Monty and Giant!Leilani conversed, Bird!Jimbo hopped around on the hands holding him up, looking between the both of them. O_o Nuuu! They were plotting against him! He had to escape, he had to leave! Spreading out his wings, the green bird tried to take off. Flap, flap, flap. But it wasn't entirely working. Panicking now, it started chirping loudly, demanding to be put down so he could at least run away. And in case that didn't work, he started pecking at the hands he stood on. Not hard, but enough to sting. But he couldn't wait for the hands to drop him. Jumping off of them and onto the ground, the cute little bird ran away down the hallway, holding it's wings out beside him, taking off into the air after gaining enough speed. |
