Salander watched as more and more students dropped their name into the cup. He also noticed that the Durmstrang and Beauxbaton students have all filed in and confidently submitted their names. A thought buzzed at the back of his head, Whoever will be Hogwarts Champion will be going up against them.

Gulp.

Well, lets get on with it then.

Salander patted his pockets, trying to find for a piece of parchment or anything to write on. He rummaged through his messenger bag, then chanced upon his mother's unopened letter. Gingerly he unfolded it, but just as he saw the graceful scrawl he flipped it over and tore off a small blank piece. He didnt want anything to give him second thoughts. Not now.

He wrote his name down on the parchment, then just began to write Salem Academy of Shamanism and Sorcery. He caught himself and hurriedly crossed it out. He is a Hogwarts boy now. Get with the program Salander!

He stood up, gave Grayson a small salute with his fingers, and marched off towards the Goblet of Fire.

He reached the Age Line and with a deep breath, stepped over it. He paused for a moment, trying to feel if his back would give way or if he would grow a beard-- or worse, turn into a bird.

Nothing.

Smiling, Salander strode on towards the Goblet. He flicked the parchment in and saw it disappear amongst the flames. He stepped back, then turned towards the stairs where Grayson and many of the students enjoyed their vantage point. Taking up his messenger bag, he swung it over his shoulders, only realizing then that he was holding his breath since he flicked his name into the flames. He released his breath slowly. "Well thats that."

I'm Hugo, by the way. First year Ravenclaw, and you?"

"I love drawing too." She added. "That's what brought you to my attention. I love meeting other people that draws." she said with a bright smile. "And im Brittany Lee First Year Huffie." She added before she forgot to. "And its nice to meet you Hugo."

SPOILER!!: Treyen and Kellen

"What? The bird? The bird's got its legs" he said motioning away, because it was already taking flight. Yeah, tiny little legs, or whatever they were called.

The boy tilted his head to one side, "Oh, I think he is" he nodded, and then proceeded to continue with his thoughts, "By the time he gets changed, if he ever does, then he'd be absolved of all crime" he nodded, not that this was a crime or anything of the sorts, but still. Who was going to remember what had happened once the Tournament begins?

Eh. Treyen froze.

And stepped away from the line. He didn't volunteer in class, and he wasn't going to change himself into an animal or bird by touching a silly line.

Shudder.

Then Arya said 'Not Treyen'. "Oh, no, I'm not doing that" yes, the curiosity vanished away as soon as he thought of being turned into a bird himself. "I wouldn't mind having invisible legs, is the bird thing I do mind" yeah, that. "It was pretty awesome, though" he smiled, and eyed the chalk line again.

Treyen smiled a bit, "I think it's supposed to sound more like Bonjour" he said, nodding at the boy. The Huffie had found it amusing somehow.

He noticed the Beauxbatons enter the room in one big block, and sent a friendly smile their way. He bet they weren't going to have a cheering section with vocal pompoms. Technically the Hogwarts Champions didn't yet either, but he had time to get it sorted. Especially if Arya was going to help and they talked to Professor Carlton about it.

Arya giggled at Treyen. "I meant he doesn't have human legs." She shook her head a bit, still giggling as they both watched the bird fly around.

"You think so...." Her eyes were still on bird!boy when she cocked her head to the side. "Maybe the bird part of him is enjoying it.....not sure about the human side." Or maybe both parts of him were enjoying it. Maybe, unlike her, he liked to transform into different creatures. "But this is his punishment. Being a bird, so they won't need to punish him again. Unless he likes being a creature and does it again." Highly unlikely if she said so herself.

A satisfactory smile crossed her face when Treyen backed away from the line. She didn't want to chase him down if he had crossed the line. Chasing a bird was no fun, even if she was on a broom. "It was pretty awesome," She agreed. "Glad someone satisfied our curiosity."

Well....her and Treyen's curiosity. Kellen still seemed determined to have someone else cross the line. "Why do you want someone else to cross the line, Kellen?" Wasn't one enough. "Do you think each student will transform into a different creature?" THAT was an interesting theory.

He watched the girls again. "Here they come." he said elbowing Patroclus.

"BON-DOOR!" he exclaimed waving like an idiot.

Patroclus was in hysterics, watching Carter wave to the Frenchies, and crying out Bon-Door, was possibly the funniest thing he would see all year. In fact it was so funny the poor boy had tears of laughter streaming down his face.

And it only became funnier when a Huffie told Carter what he was saying was wrong.

"You could always wear sunglasses and a hat! People wouldn't recognize you then." she shrugged. Of course she would know it was him, since she had given him the idea and all.

Hehehe. Sam had no idea how dangerous those grabber poles were, especially if it was in the hands of Destiny herself. "The grabber pole can be fun though. Especially when someone has a crazy old grandmother, and they can use it to HONK her nose with it when she is sleeping!" Experience, Destiny has with that! "Maybe people should just put everything in places where little people can reach it. No need for steps or grabber poles."

But then that would mean no more honking her grandmother's nose.

Hearing a girl call out to Sam, Destiny turned her head in that direction. She figured they knew eachother, or else they wouldn't be waving and saying eachother's name. Pffft! And people said Destiny wasn't smart! PSHAW!

Even though the girl wasn't waving to her, Destiny waved back. She was being niiiiiice!

Sweet Merlin, she was being nice!

It was that Beauxbatons guy..he was changing her!

"Right. No stalkers. I suppose a disguise would probably work. You could always use some polyjuice potion to look like your grandpa or something. Who would want to follow around your grandpa?" Sam mused. "You've... 'honked' your grandma's nose with a grabber pole?" His eyes widened. "Wicked!" Also, her suggestion made sense. Why wouldn't people just put things where they could reach them?

Treyen eyed the Ravenclaw one. He wasn't forcing anyone. Good. But someone else had to try and cross the line...what if the line wasn't the thing that made the boy turn into a bird?

Oooooh. Treyen smiled. "That, he doesn't" a nod came to his precious golden-brown head.

But then he listened to what Arya was saying and it made absolute and total sense. It would be a punishment to him. Perhaps the bird!boy didn't feel that way, but for Treyen it would a disastrous event. And not a great way to start the year.

Except...the invisibility thing. That sounded great. And maybe not all people reacted alike to the chalk line. Maybe he'll just turn invisible.

Hmmmm. "That's interesting" he said, after Arya made her question, "And perhaps not everyone is supposed to be transformed into an animal" if that's what happened to bird!boy.

Ooooooh, foreign boys. Autumn giggled to herself as she ogled them. She towered over most of the crowd pretty easily at her embarrassing height of 5'10", so she could basically see them all. She was only fifteen, for Merlin's sake. Why did she have to be so tall? Oh, well. That was neither here nor there. What was definitely both here AND there were cute boys. Domestic, foreign... Who cared. They were everywhere. And all the boys who put their names in the goblet of fire were so brave... Sigh. She made a mental note to herself to meet as many of them as humanly possible while they were here. What could she say? She might have been a witch, but she was, above all, a fifteen-year-old girl.

Ooo!

Destiny liked the way Sam thought! Polyjuice potion would be much better than stupid sunglasses and a stupid hat. Easier too, since there would be no chance of these other person's feature to be accidentally knocked off. "You know what would be worse than following my grandfather?" she asked, but she did not wait for an answer. She was pretty sure he wouldn't have guessed correctly anyway. "Following around my grandmum!"

The woman was way too wrinkly.

And Destiny had learned just how wrinkly the woman was when she honked her nose with the grabber pole. "I did." she said with a nod of her head, rocking back and forth on her feet. She was proud she had done that. "I thought her nose was going to come off when I pulled.."

That was just gross.

Gasp! Big, scary Durmstrang headmaster! Autumn's eyes widened a bit at the sight of him. He'd come out of nowhere, it seemed. He was asking what was going on. She thought maybe she should answer him, but A) she was scared of him, and B) she didn't know quite what he meant. Surely he knew about the Goblet of Fire, or why else would he be here? Maybe he was talking about the kind of stuck-up guy that little girl was asking to take a picture of? Merlin, who knew?

"May I ask what is going on here?" asked Headmaster Zitnik.

If Nikolai was startled at the sudden appearance of his Headmaster, he didn't show it. He was used to him doing things like that, especially to him.

"Headmaster Zitnik," he bowed his head a little, before continuing. "Ve 'ave all put our name in the Govlet of Fire. Noe ve are just vaiting." And Nik was talking to the ladies, but that was quite obvious.

Rex Tigwell puts his name in the Goblet Cup. He hopees to be picked for the Tri-Wizard Tournament. He will represent HogWarts very well.

Lauren made her way into room and noticed a whole bunch of people sitting around or just standing, she wanted to watch, she was sure she was late for the whole process of course but she was sure there would be other brave students stepping up to the plate. She found a bench and watched people walk past her, she smiled when she saw Nik, he had a nice face, but like before he was surrounded by girls, and even one who was trying to take a picture with him. She chuckled low and shook her head, the Durmstrang headmaster walked in and she raised her eyebrows. That was so creepy. Was Nik in trouble for fraternizing with the girls? It seemed like the norm for him.

Daisy found herself wandering right back near the Goblet of Fire. She sat down, a safe distance from the age line, and looked at everyone. When will there be a name drawn, she thought to herself.

"Well, fancy seeing "The Lady of Gryffindor here" Rex smiled. " I thought "The Knight of Gryffindor should put his name in the goblet, too" Rex told Daisy.

Daisy smiled, "Well I'm not suprised to see the Knight of Gryffindor here. You are very brave." She looked at the goblet. "I wish I was old enough to enter. Oh well, I already sketched the goblet. I did it when it was first set up."
