Hecate burst into the classroom and began setting it up. Each table would seat four. This was going to be a fun class... for her anyway. She began making the antidote, and as she finished adding the last ingredient, she opened the door.
ooc: This class will stay open for at least 72 hours (probably more.) Also thanks to Antarctica! for taking the picture of the Potions Classroom for me at the WWoHP, and to Ameh for makin it into a pretty graphic! Sorry guys for not giving you lots of notice... lots of stuff happening with my Part Time job... and seeing as I'm still looking for a full time one I've got to work hard to keep the pt one. This class will stay open for a at least 3 days, and probably more.!

"Don't be sorry, you are doing fine." She said.
Was she serious? Had she not been in this class? Nevermind. Continue with this class... she thought to herself.
She glared at the girl. She took 100 points from Slytherin for disrespect, she wasn't above taking the same from gryffindor.
She smiled at the boy as he smashed the leech. Typical boy.
SPOILER!!: Where you were supposed to add the Knotgrass
ooc: Sorry, my fault, I guess I assumed you'd all READ MY MIND and knew that after running the knotgrass on your gloves you were supposed to drop it in the potion, cause it wasn't going to wilt too quickly. Sorry.
The color wasn't right. "You forgot the knotgrass, Miss Page." She said, "Thank you, now I can show how to fix this." and she took some more goat's milk. "Soak the knotgrass in the cold goat's milk for 2 minutes and then you can add it before the next step." She said and then addressed the class. "There aren't many potions or many ingredients that you can fix after the time to add them... this is one of the few. The knotgrass is coated, we aren't that far into the potion, and the cold goat's milk will help re-process everything." She turned to the girl and said "Do that and then the next step."
She summoned the next ingredient and placed it in her clean mortar. "Crush the bicorn horn, withdraw a tbs and add place it in a spoon. Come to me with the spoon and I will drop a phoenix tear on it, then go back to your cauldron and stir them in 15 times clockwise." She said and demonstrated.
Kurumi was about to explain to the seemingly calmer professor that she felt bad about squishy her leech and maybe should give its now flat remains a proper burial...but the woman probably wouldn't have any of that and would throw something at her. "Poor little flat leech," as she went back to her notes to add the next step. She then cleaned her supplies and began crushing her bicorn horn. When it was all nice and crushed, she put in on a spoon and approaching the professor very timidly. She was still feeling bad about the leech.
"Professor, may I please have a phoenix tear?" she asked fidgeting her feet a little wondering if she should dare ask the next one. "What are you going to do with the po-, um, leech remains?" That wasn't too obvious, was it?
SPOILER!!: more Droo!

She gave the boy his phoenix tear.
ooc: Please don't RP for me. What if I wanted to withhold the ingredient?
She gave her the phoenix tear. "Here you are."
ooc: Please don't RP for me. What if I wanted to withhold the ingredient?
She looked at the concoction... and then at the boy... and then... sighed. "Carter. At least you didn't waste the phoenix tear." She vanished his potion. "Follow directions, Master Carter, and make it again."
"That looks right..." She said and dropped the tear in her spoon.
"You may." She said and dropped a tear into the spoon.
"You may." She said and dropped a tear into this girl's spoon too.
"What is it Master Jarod?" She said with a hiss. This kid was the bane of her existence...
"Yes you may." She said and gave her that tear.
"The same thing you are doing. Not paying attention. Where is your crushed bicorn horn?" She asked the boy.
"Crocker. As much as I appreciate the fact that you are trying to... defend me in some way, I do not need it. Leave Jarod be." She said.
"Yes, you may." She said and gave her the tear.
"Jarod! Wands away!" She said trying to stay calm.
Good, she was sort of helping...
She glared at the girl who TOOK her phoenix tear instead of asking... but pandamonium was happening and she couldn't be bothered... she'd deal with her later... if she remembered.
"Jarod, Crocker!" She said getting angry and knocking over the leeches as she cleaned the boy off of the incomplete potion. The jar broke and leaches were everywhere... she stood still, closed her eyes and tried to breathe. "You two are to stay after class and clean up the leeches. With your bare hands." She said angrily.
"If you want to not have a completed potion. It'll regress the drinker, but it will damage them, if not kill them while their muscles contract down to size." She said. Without it, it just wouldn't work...
She addressed the rest of the class. "Keep coming up if you need your tear." She said. "Take the daisy root and start chopping it with your silver knife. This is important. Before you chop it, use the handle to crush it a bit, so more of the juices come out as you chop." She did so, and then dropped it in her cauldron.
Hearing that last remark about this potion potentially killing the drinker made Kurumi want to faint. Did this lady take pleasure in freaking the living daylights out of all of them?!

Evan halted for a while as he thought on the answer. If without it this potion wouldn't work without a tear... then, he had to make a decision. He was either going to waste one more tear for such a stupid potion, or he would simply leave. Although staying would be better for his well-being, he just didn't want to waste phoenix tear on his behalf. It wasn't hard to guess the correct choice here. His heart started to beat faster with the decision he made: he'd leave, as he'd agreed to do before. Cleaning his working area, he returned the unused stuff and "Evanesco!"ed his half-potion. Then, packing his stuff, he simply and calmly said "I don't want to waste that tear, then," to the professor and walked through the open-door. The consequences he didn't want to think about, but he felt quite nice, actually, although his knees were shaky a little with the fear of Lafay.
As he got out of the door, it dawned on him that with this rather rebellious action he could get a detention. Oh well. There were more important things than detention, and if he got lucky, he could always study the potion from books.

He almost opened his mouth to comment but he'd seen what talking back earned the others.
"I'm sorry professor I had paused to see if my friend needed help," he answered her as he took hold of his bicorn horn once more where he had laid it down just moments before. Sighing as the woman moved onto the others, Simon proceeded to crush it like he was supposed to before putting some on the spoon and walking calmly up to Professor Lafay. The boy having worked out his frustrations with the mortar and pestle.
"May I have a phoenix tear, Professor?" he asked.
She eyed the boy... She hated when they thought they could pull something over on her. She didn't know what this boy had in mind... but she was always suspicious. "Here you are, Bennet." She said and gave him the tear.

She watched the Slytherin leave. A Slytherin. Great. "Very well." Children were crazy... they would use leech juice, which meant killing an innocent leech, but using the tear of a phoenix, which didn't hurt it in the extraction of it is bad... o. k. Moving on.
"Alright. After you add the daisy root. You will take the sprigs of Fluxweed." She put on her gloves and her goggles and stirred the mixture with the sprigs both counter and clockwise 3 times. "After putting on your gloves and goggles. Stir the mixture with the sprigs one going counter and the other going clockwise 3 times. You will notice the sprigs are both disintegrating into the potion... Then take the peppermint toads, and chocolate frog and put them in the mixture, using the liquorish wand to stir it." She said demonstrating. "And... the liquorish wand will melt inside. Lower the flame." She said and sent a bottle at each table. "Today I want to see you funnel your potion in a bottle and cork it. You should have a funnel in your potions kit. MAKE SURE IT IS CLEAN!" She said.

Eeep! That was a lot of steps all at once. Kurumi flew to her parchment to write down everything that the professor had said before doing it all herself.

Few, she thought she had all that down. Looking over her notes and all the ingredients, this was, once again, not something she was looking forward to drinking. Once she had completed all the steps. She got out her bottle, cork, and funnel and checked them over at least ten times to make sure they were clean - casting the proper spells whenever she saw something that even remotely resembled dirt.

Lila made sure she had her gloves and goggles on properly. Then she added the fluxweed sprigs stirring both counter and clockwise 3 times. Next she put the peppermint toads and chocolate frogs into the cauldron. She grabbed the liquorish wand and used it to stir until it had melted. Then she lowered the flame. Next she made sure the funnel, bottle, and cork were thoroughly clean. Finally she poured it into the bottle using the funnel and corked the bottle.
Vilhelmiina nodded. "Thank you, Professor." She went back to her couldron and added the bicorn horn/pheonix tear mixture. Then she stirred it counterclock-wise 15 times. Next, she crushed her daisy root with the end of her knife, then chopped it and added it to her couldron. She put on her goggles and gloves. Then she took her first sprig of flaxweed and stirred it counterclockwise and the other counterclockwise. Next she added the peppermint toad and chocolate frog, put them into the mixture, and started to stir it with a liqourish wand until the wand melted into the potion. Finally she lowered the flame. She grabbed the bottle and her funnel, washed and dried them just in case it was dirty and she didn't see it, poured the potion into it, and quickly corked it.
Alex cleaned her mortar and pestle before crushing the bicorn and withdrawing the tbs and placing it on a spoon going up to the Professor and asked timidly, "May I, er, have a drop of Phoenix Tear for my potion Professor Lafay?" Alex knew Lafay was already annoyed with everyone after all.

Not only does Lafay find it fit to ignore questions but she also doesn't seem to know what her ingredients list is either. "Why are we adding the knotgrass in only sliced when the list of ingredients calls for 2 Tbsp of Chopped knotgrass?" Yep, fair enough question and Marie still wasn't going to continue with the potion until she got her answer about this ingredient.
Oh, and now she was onto the phoenix tears. Riiiight, lets just continue on with wasting something as valuable as phoenix tears for a stupid, meaningless lesson. Well Marie wasn't going to do it.

And apparently neither was Evan. Watching him walk out the door after he cleaned up his work station Marie did the same. First she evenescoed what was in her cauldron, then scourgified it and put it in her bag. She then cleaned all her other items and packed them away. Once that was done she put the remaining ingredients back where she got them. "I will not take part in wasting something as important as phoenix tears just so you can make us drink a useless potion." she said as she walked back to her work station, grabbed her bag and walked out the door.
Holy Merlin, what had she just done? Walked out of a class that she was now protesting that's what she did. A class that was taught by her Head of House. A woman that could make her life miserable.
Oh well, no turning back now. What was done was done and that's all there was to it.

De-Aging Potion: Makes the person taking the potion appear to be younger physically but does not alter mental age.
Ingredients: 1 Gallon of goat's milk
1 Tsp of crushed Yellow Moonstone
2 Lacewing flies
10 Shrivelfigs
2 Tbsp of chopped knotgrass
1 Drop of Leech juice
5 Drops Pomegranite juice
1 Tsp bicorn horn, crushed
1 Phoenix tear
1 Daisy root, finely chopped
2 Sprigs of Fluxweed
2 Peppermint toads
1 Chocolate frog

-Add 1 gallon of goat's milk
-Add crushed Yellow Moonstone, stir goats milk while doing this
-Add 2 lacewig flies
-Stir twice clockwise and five times counter clockwise
-Slice knotgrass from top to bottom being careful not to slice the same spot twice then set aside to let the juices from the cutting come to the surface.
-Add shrivelfigs by squishing them in gloved hands (this will be messy)
-Roll knotgrass in gloved hands to get remaining shrivelfigs off and to coat the knotgrass so it won't wilt in the cauldron
-Add knotgrass
-Add leech juice
-Add Pomegranite juice (Steam should be purple)
-Crush the bicorn horn
-Add 1 phoenix tear to crushed bicorn horn then add to cauldron and stir 15 times
-Add 1 Daisy root, finely chopped
-Add 2 Sprigs of Fluxweed, stir once counter clockwise, 2 times clockwise
-Add 2 Peppermint toads and 1 Chocolate frog using Liquorish wand to stir (it too will melt)
-Lower flame
-Funnel potion into bottle and cork it
Steps Taken:
-Cleaned cauldron and work area with "Scourgify"
-Added 1 gallon of goat's milk
-Gathered remaining ingredients (except for phoenix/Lafay tear)
-Used mortar and pestle to crush the yellow moonstone to a powder
-Added powdered moonstone to mixture while stirring.
-Updated journal
-Dropped 2 lacewig flies in the cauldron
-Made sure stirrer was clean (since it was sitting on the table) then stirred potion twice clockwise and five times counter clockwise
-Updated journal and listened to Raiden question Lafay... GO RAIDEN!
-Sliced knotgrass with silver knife (that had been cleaned at beginning of class)
-Squished shrivelfigs in gloves pretending they were Lafays head and dropped them into cauldron
-Rolled knotgrass in gloved hands, then set to side again
-Updated journal
-Questioned Lafay for hissing at Raiden
-Got told I could leave if I didn't like the way she talked to Raiden
-Questioned Lafay about the knotgrass
-Got ignored by Lafay
-Sat and refused to work anymore on the potion until she answered me
-Questioned Lafay again about the knotgrass. Ingredient list says 'Chopped', not 'sliced'
-Didn't wait for answer about knotgrass, instead packed up and left when it came time to add phoenix tears. What a waste of a precious, hard to come by ingredient.
"Thank you." She said to her, and watched her with the leech juice. Smirking that she chickened out, but not saying anything.
"Whew, Lafay didn't really sound mean" Em thought. "Maybe she had respected my bravery willingness to stay and learn."

"Scourgify" Emmaleigh muttered, as she pointed her wand at her mortar and pestle, and then at her measuring spoon. She then reached for the bicorn horn, and started to crush it into a fine powder. When it got to the point where he was meant to add the phoenix tear, Raiden had stopped. Completely, utterly, stopped. Here before him was a cauldron containing a potion perfectly brewed, just waiting for him to continue on.
But he couldn't. The prefect stared at the animated liquid, an obvious look of sickness on his face. Phoenix tears were so rare... so precious. One or two could save a person's life. This magical substance that could cure a person swiftly dying from a basilisk's venom, that could close a wound that would kill a man before a healer could help...
"It's a waste." The words were barely audible, his voice probably not reaching anyone not in his immediate vicinity. "Such a waste."
He didn't move from his seat to get the phoenix tear, nor did he make any motions to get up and leave the class. The cauldron before him continued to simply exist, the half-finished potion still in its metallic stomach.
He wouldn't do it. He couldn't. A slowly warming contempt began to boil in his stomach for those who would, and were, doing it. Did they not understand? Did they not care? People would DIE for these tears. People would DIE without them.

Ugh, Purple Head was distracting her with his ‘hurting other students’ ways and such. Didn’t she tell Professor Lafay that he hurt people!? Mmhmm! And look what he did… Almost knocked out that spazzy dude.
Actually, it was a slight knock in the head, not hard enough to really knock someone out, but still! Pssh. Dangerous little Ravenclaw.

Cleaning her mortar and pestle, the Slytherin put the bicorn horn in and started to crush it. It seemed like it was taking forever to crush for some reason, but, a good imagination could always help! Thinking of it as a certain…someone’s…head, Evelyn finally got it to the right consistency before placing it on a spoon. This was…weird.
But, whatever the potion needed she supposed…
How did people remember to do these things? Actually, how did people even know what to do in the potions in the first place to invent them!? Just messed around with stuff?
Standing up, she went over to where the Professor was, keeping an eye on her spoon so she didn’t drop any of the crushed bicorn horn. Nope, she didn’t like dropping stuff. "Professor…ready for the phoenix tear." Phoenix tears. Hmm, were they really real? Or was she just saying that...

Yep, fair enough question and Marie still wasn't going to continue with the potion until she got her answer about this ingredient.
Hecate merely shook her head. Why would you ask a question, only to leave before the question is answered? "For anyone who cares, the definition of chop is to cut into small pieces. As we drew the knife perpendicular to the strands of knotgrass, we chopped it. AND for anyone who didn't hear me the first time... WE ARE NOT DRINKING THIS POTION." Merlin.

Hecate noted the prefect didn't come up. "If you aren't going to finish your potion, Prefect, then please clean your cauldron, and just observe the others." He could at least pay attention to the rest of the class.

Hmm…
Well, it looked real enough. Then again, Evelyn had never seen an actual phoenix tear in her life! This could have been a fake. Lafay fooled all of them!
Or maybe it was real.
Whatever. The Slytherin didn’t really care, even though it the debate about it had been rather interesting earlier in the lesson. "Thank you." She muttered, keeping her eyes on the spoon. In case it was real, she didn’t want to drop any of it, because that would be an utter fail and a mess up. Pfft. Messing up on a potion…never!
Putting the spoon into the mix in her cauldron, she counted fifteen stirs clockwise as her eyes flickered over to Purple Head, seeing what he was up to.

After the fifteen stirs clockwise, she took her silver knife again and pulled the daisy root closer before cleaning her knife quickly. Evelyn really didn’t mind the cleanliness, since she was a rather clean person herself, but making sure to do so in case the Professor decided that you weren’t and evanesco’d your potion? It was getting rather irritating!
Crushing the root with the handle of the silver knife, she chopped it after a moment or so and dropped the pieces into the cauldron. Wooaah, when was the last time she took notes?!
Placing her knife down, the Slytherin quickly scribbled in her notebook the steps taken, and once again…eyes flickered over to the young Ravenclaw. Wasn’t knocking anymore cauldrons on people’s head was he?

You should have a funnel in your potions kit. MAKE SURE IT IS CLEAN!" She said.
Gloves and goggles?
Pffft. Sighing, she put her gloves back on and her stylish goggles, which looked more like scientific clear thick sunglasses before adding the fluxweed into the mixture.
One counter-clockwise…
Three clockwise….
And time for the candy to DISAPPEAR! Hopefully Destiny didn’t eat hers already. It was a shame they had to put peppermint toads in the potion. It was the only really chocolate thing she’d eat, and she wouldn’t be able to eat it! Dang.
Placing both the peppermint toads and chocolate frog into the mixture, Evelyn picked up the disgusting licorice wand and started to stir it. Wasn’t the wand going to melt- Oh. Right. It was. Nodding slightly, almost like a zombie state, the fourth year reluctantly lowered the flame under the cauldron before glancing to the bottle landing on the table.
They had to what? Funnel and cork it. Eh…

Funnel and cork.
Cleaning the funnel (and making sure the bottle was clean too), she set it in the top of the bottle before pouring the potion into the bottle, making sure not to have the thing tip over as she did so.
Wobble...
Quiver...
Tiiiiiippp….
EEP! Saved by the last second. Of course her cauldron made a nice THUD on the table, but at least she saved the bottle, the potion, and therefore…her grade. Eesh. Corking the top of the bottle, Evelyn stood up and moved to the front desk where Lafay was at, snickering along the way as Purple Head had to pick up leeches.
Now, potion…put…into…BOX…and now she was done! Moving back to her table, she turned the flame off and finished the rest of her notes before glancing around. Or more importantly, making sure Purple Head was picking up those leeches. She didn’t want to see any being flung to her side either.
Amy grabbed her potion bottle and happily walked to the front of the class and set the bottle on the desk "here you go professor" she said cheerfully, this was her second potion she'd Ever made so she was so happy! Yay!
"Yes," She said and added the tear to the bicorn horn.
"Once you are finished with your potion, bring it here." She pulled out a box. "I will check them and grade you." She said as she sat in her chair and pulled out an empty glass jar from a drawer. "Jarod, Crocker. Start picking up each leech one by one and place them in this jar. And be careful, they are hungry."
"T-thank you P-professor Lafay." Emmaleigh said returning to her seat. She didn't mind Lafay ignoring her question, because it ment that she didn't get yelled at. She dumped the bicorn horn and phoenix tear into her cauldron, and checking her diagram from earlier, stirred it fifteen times clockwise. She then cast a cleaning charm on her knife, and crushed the daisy root with it's handle, before chopping it and adding it to her potion.
Next, she donned her goggles and gloves, and cleaned her stirrer. Dropping a sprig of fluxweed into the cauldron, she stirred it three times counter clockwise, and then stirred it 3 times in the other direction after dropping in the other sprig. Setting the stirrer down, she picked up the candy, and placed the two sweet amphibians and stirred the contents with the liquorish wand.
She lowered the flame, and then cast scourgify on the bottle Lafay sent to the table, as well as on her funnel, and the cork. using the funnel, she Very, very carefully, poured the finished potion into her bottle, and placed the cork on it.
hmm, wait. Did Lafay just say that they would not be drinking any of the potion? Yeah, that seemed fishy, and made Emmaleigh wonder if this was really a de-agin potion, of if it had really been Phoenix tears they had used. She picked up her bottle, and walked up to Lafay's desk. Giving the professor a tiny smile, she placed the bottle in the box. After she returned to her seat, she finished writing her notes.

Step 4: add lacewing flies. Stir clockwise twice, and counter clockwise five times. (Blue, the colour of youth.)
Step 5: Knotgrass- never re-cut the same spot. Tip side at left, run silver knife through it, from top to bottom. Set aside for juices to come to surface
Step 6: With gloves on, squeeze shrivelfigs over cauldron, getting as much as possible in the potion.
Step 7: Rub knotgrass over gloves to remove the rest of the fig. This coats the knotgrass, to prevent it from wilting quickly.-add to potion

Step 13: add 1 phoenix tear to 1 tsp bicorn horn, and add to potion, stirring 15 times clockwise.
Step 14: Clean knife, and crush daisy root with handle. (To make more juices come out). Proceed to choop root, and add to cauldron.
Step 15 : with gloves and goggles on, add one sprig of fluxweed, and stir counter clockwise 3 times. Add the other sprig, and stir clockwise 3 times. Observe sprigs disintegrate.
Step 16: add Peppermint toads and chocolate frog, stirring with liquorish wand. Wand will melt.
Step 17: lower flame
Step 18: Clean Funnel, and bottle, and bottle the potion.
Step 19: fill bottle.
Browncoat l Extra Syrup l Kita's Strong Confident Other Half l Lemon Patch
Arya continued to work on each step carefully. Adding each of her ingredients as needed and transcribing the steps in to her potions journal. The small girl was oblivious to all the commotion that was going on in the front of the classroom, too focused on her potion.
Until it came time to add the phoenix tear.
Adding that rare ingredient.....would be a waste since she didn't want to take the potion in the first place. Chewing her bottom lip softly, she stared at her potion, quill tapping on the table. No. She wouldn't be adding the tear.

Eep! They were going to be graded right their on the spot?! With fumbling hands, but making sure that nothing spilled, Kurumi poured some of her potion into her bottle and could have sword she heard someone saying "Weeeeeeee!" as she did so. Creepy...very creepy....
Once her bottle was full, she corked it. Ew, was that still childish laugher she was hearing as the bottle swished a little while she walked to the front of the classroom? Definitely creepy...but at least it seemed like they were not going to have to drink it. She looked at Professor Lafay. "I hope this meets your standards, Professor," she said as politely and as confidently as she could before she added her bottle to the box.

He hadn't expected her to address him, much less give him permission to vanish what he'd already done. He didn't need nor want her permission; he was going to vanish the half-done potion anyway. He wasn't about to bend his morals and finish it.
He didn't care if he didn't get points for class, either. At least his conscience was clear. Could she say the same thing, after using these tears in such a wasteful manner? He'd never pegged her as one to care about others, but this was a step further than he could have imagined.
Silently vanishing his potion and cleaning up his things with a flick of his wand, he simply watched the woman, expression indecipherable. Except for a hint of calm accusation in his eyes. He didn't need to observe the rest of the class. It wasn't like he hadn't been watching his father mix potions since he was a kid, or as if he hadn't helped and learned to do it himself.
He wouldn't need to know how to make this potion. He would never in his life choose to do so. Not at the expense of something that could save someone else's life.
Nessa cleaned her knife and crushed the daisy rootsthen cut them as instructed and then dropped it into the cauldron. She put on her gloves and goggles and began to stir with the sprigs of fluxweed and stirred the concoction first clockwise than counter clockwise three times. She watched as it disinagrated into nothing and she picked up her pepperment toad and choclate frog and placed them into the cauldron. Stirring with the liquorish wand and waiting for it to disinagrate before she lowered the flame.
Picking up the bottle, her funnel making sure to clean it before Using it and she carefully poured the potion into the bottle and corked it.
She turned to her notes and took down the last few steps.

She daddled her last notes and grabbed her potion and took it to the professor. "Here you go professor." she smiled. I hope she doesnt like im to nice you know like most firsties. She was tired of that but oh well.
Ever poured the potion into the vile with shaky hands, she probably messed up in some way or another. Still grossed out by the leeches, it didn't help that apparently they were...
Hungry.
She took her potion and brought it up to the box. "Here you are, Professor," Ever said brightly. Ever-Lily felt slightly disappointed...secretly, she wanted to try the potion. Just to see what would happen. But whatever.
Toothless - Napoleon of Crime - Gryffinclaw - Owl Emissary - Pirate Auror - DoctorDonna
Simon wasn't certain but the way Professor Lafay looked at him as he stood before her gave him the thought that he had dropped further into her bad graces. Josh is sooo gonna pay for that he mused to himself as the tear was given onto his spoon.
"Thank you professor," he replied being his normal polite self not a stitch of buttering up as he returned to his place. Adding the tear and the powdered bicorn horn, Simon proceeded to catch up with the rest of the class. Careful to squish the daisy root a little before cutting, he added it once he was through. Then putting his gloves back on and adding the goggles over his eyes, he mirrored the professor's actions to a t not wanting to mess up anymore then he had already.
Once the pepperment toads and chocolate frogs were added the the licorice wand used to stir before letting it melt, Simon reached down and lowered the flame. At mention of a funnel, he retrieved the one from his kit and upon inspection noticed it wasn't as clean as it could be.
"Scorgify." he cast cleaning the reside out before slipping the nozzle end into the bottle. Carefully using his spoon, he slowly added potion into the funnel and let it enter the given bottle. When it was full, the Gryffindor boy removed the funnel and corked the filled bottle of potion properly before bringing it up to Professor Lafay so she could grade it.

After getting the Phoenix Tear drop Alexandrie returned to her seat and stired it in one, two, three, four, and finally fifteen times clockwise. Afterwards shegrabbed her silver knife carefully, crushing the Daisy Root slightly so the juice would come out some and started to chop it after it was chopped she added it to her potion and put back on her gloves and goggles took the Fluxweed sprigs and stirred the mixture with sprigs once counter clockwise and three times clockwise she noticed that the sprigs were disintegrating into the potion as the Professor had said and took the peppermint toads and chocolate frog adding them as she stired it with the liquorish wand Alex noticed that the wand melted and lowered the flame she took out her funnel and grabbed a bottle making sure they were clean and funneled her finished Potion into the bottle corking it and took it carefully up to Professor Lafay and with slight dread presented to her like she had asked, "Here you are Professor Lafay." Alexandrie stated her voice a little higher then normal due to worry, they never had to bottle up their potion before after all.

Until it came time to add the phoenix tear.
Adding that rare ingredient.....would be a waste since she didn't want to take the potion in the first place. Chewing her bottom lip softly, she stared at her potion, quill tapping on the table. No. She wouldn't be adding the tear.
"Miss Lovegoods, if you share the prefect's feelings, please vanish your potion." Merlin, all these ingredients, wasted.
"So... let's answer the question that someone asked earlier... Who can tell me what purpose this potion may have?" She asked the class.
