Dianna entered the classroom and smelled... cookies!
"Hello Professor." she greeted with a smile on her face as she sat down and grabbed a cookie to munch.

Her eyes flickered to Professor Kingsley briefly when he spoke before returning to Gold. Arya shifted in the seat to make herself more comfortable, legs crossed in the seat as she continued to take small bites from her sugar cookie. Turning to see who the prefect was waving at, she then noticed Cela and gave the Head Girl a wave of her own.

"I am," She was really happy, and content with the world.....well her small world at least. Taking a few bigger bites of the cookie she thought about what Gold was saying. OWLS. She had like...three years before she had to take them and she decided to wait until then to think about it. After all, why ruin a good mood with stress?

"Same here, I've been working on some of the homework. Got most of it done. But, I still have a little trouble with the spell from this class..." She mused as she turned the cookie in her hand and took another bite. It seemed none of her objects wanted to stay clocks for long, and if you didn't move quickly you wouldn't get the chance to revert it back.

Amy walked through the room and ooooh, nice smell, Amy smiled, instantly comforted by that homely smell she stood at the side waiting for some instructions until--OOOH!! Amy spotted where the smell was coming from and made a bee-line for the cookies, grabbing one-two, one more? go on then, thanks professor she said grinning as she returned to her place and bit into the cookies, oooh they were good, great cookies professor! she called to the front

Alexandrie had struggled to decide if she wanted to attend Transfiguration Club, she loved transfiguration but didn't want to attend because she thought the professor thought she was a pyromanic, she was more of a cyromanic thank you very much. She loved ice more then fire a lot more in fact. She entered the room looking around hesistantly, she did adore transfiguration and if she was going to overcome her shyness she was going to have to mingle. "Sorry i'm late Professor." Alex avoided his eyes not wanting to see anything she wouldn't like in them. She stood away from the door fighting the urge to flee. She looked about noticing the cookies and other students before going to stand over in a corner by herself, after all she only had one friend so far and she didn't want to upset anyone by standing near them.

Amy looked at the door as she heard it open-a slytherin? Amy thought hard, wasn't that one the girl who had annoyed Ellie, she thought for a minute and then decided everyone deserved a second chance. Slowly she picked up her bag and walked over to the girl, offering her a smile she spoke, Hey, I'm Amy, wondering if the girl would be rude and walk off she decided to hold her ground and placed her bag on the floor, daring her to be rude to her, then a thought came into her mind, don't stir trouble for yourself. She breathed deeply and calmed down, unclenching her imaginary curled fists she leaned against a desk, she couldn't help but hope the girl would be nice or she'd look like a right saddo

Alex blinked at the girl that was standing in front of her, "Hello Amy, I"m Alexandrie Malfoy-Lupin, although you can call me whatever you hear from around. Besides you probably don't like me like..uh your friend..that Ravenclaw..Estone or something?"Alex was horrible at names and it showed constantly, she called Flores Flower..though she deserved it with the way she treats people. The girl clearly looked like Alex would snap her head off. nope no thank you. Alex could be nice it's just he girl's friend rubbed a spot that just tended to hit a sore spot for Alex.

Oh nice to meet you Alexandrie, or do you prefer to be called Alex? she trailed off as she thought hard Oh you mean Ellie, listen she's nice but she looses it quickly, Amy spoke gently trying to defend Ellie, but even if you don't like her, I'm not going to deliberatley be mean to you, everyone deseveres a fair chance after all she mused as she bit into another cookie

Alex hated her full first name, "It's Alex, or as i'm sure 'Ellie' calls me Pyromanic." She knew people thought it. "I don't mind her she's just too close minded, and thank you for the 'fair chance'" Alex glanced around half expecting the Professor to kick her out any moment. She didn't like eating during anything that she was learning from including clubs. "Well this should be interesting at least." Alex muttered under her breath refering to the club.

Well actually..Amy said smiling, I love that name, my mum's sisters called Alex, she's so cool, so if your an Alex you'll probably be cool as well and trust me it's no problem, Amy turned to see the professor at the front talking to some people, totally she murmered back, so what are we meant to do now? Amy said darkly, wondering where the structure was in this group

Alex chuckled, "It means defender of mankind, so yes the name is cool unless it's french, And don't base facts on names and first impressions cause the chance is the person is someone else entirely." After all this Ellie wasn't too bad..other then annoying Alex. She thought glancing, "Well some people are working on their homework..i'm not sure if i'm allowed to or not I sort of had to go to the Hospital Wing just before I got the spell Horolos down. Other people are eating cookies and chatting or asking the Professor questions. At least until more people come." Alexandrie eyed where the girl was, Amy if she remembered right. She almost had that spell to she thought, one more time and she would have done it correctly.

Maddie smiled as she walked into the classroom. Hopefully, she wasn't late. Ah no, they were all still chatting. That was - oooh, cookies! Maddie went up to the desk and took a yummy chocolate one.
'Thanks for the cookies, Proffessor Kingsley!' she said happily, and went to sit near Amy. 'Hiya Amy' she said, smiling, and turned to the other girl 'Hi, I'm Maddie Force'

Alex blinked at the seemingly happy girl that just came up, "Hi i'm Alex Malfoy-Lupin." She responded with a small smile, she seemed nice enough after all.

Jay walked into the transfiguration club, he sat down at a nearby chair and waited to see what this would be about.]

Maddie smiled
'hi Alex, nice to meet you! Wanna cupcake?' she asked. She still had loads left from charms... hehe. She might have gotten hyper on a few...

Christopher James Aesalon peered into the classroom. Well it seemed quite a few people were here already as it were but at least it wasn't underway yet.

Making his way through to an empty spot, he leaned back and let himself succumb to the art of counting ceiling tiles while he waited for everything to settle down and start.

Alex blinked at her, "No thanks Maddie, I don't like eating during well..anything like classes or clubs." Alex told her waving her hand in a no thank you way. She hoped this club would start soon.

Preston pulled up a chair at the table and settled down, watching some of the conversations. Observing the Slytherins who seemed tethered together, he first cleared his throat.

"Miss Shepard. Miss Salazar. Please." He looked at them sternly. "You will sit next to each other and learn to tolerate one another. I don't doubt that is one of the reasons for your current predicament."

Pausing, he looked around. "And as for the rest of you, just because this isn't a class, doesn't mean I will tolerate poor behavior. Consider it a warning."

He allowed his features to soften, then, before speaking again. A small smile tugged on his lips. "So, welcome! Enjoy the cookies. This isn't a class, so come and go as you please or need to, so no need to apologize for being late." He looked to those who had done so and nodded, appreciatively.

He folded his hands and rested them on the table. "Several students contacted me about what they'd like to do in club meetings. Some said they wanted homework help from me. Others said they wanted to talk more about theory or ask questions that weren't necessarily relevant to class. Others wanted to learn new conjuring spells that we might not cover this year. Some just wanted someplace to find a partner for homework or get help from older students."

"We can do all these things today. Why don't you all tell me where you'd like to start? Or if there's something you absolutely want to do right now."

Alexandrie glanced around, "Well I would like to finish getting Horolos down, I almost had it before.." Alex broke off coughing into her hand embarassed her face heating up, she still couldn't believe she set herself on fire how stupid of her. She brushed her now black hair with single silver streak back thinkingly. She was fine with whatever majority voted for.

Preston looked over at the first year and nodded, taking notice of her embarrassment. He made note to ask her how her burns fared once there was a private moment to do so.

"We can absolutely work on that some. If there's anyone else who wants to do that, you can work together, and if not, I can set you up to practice and then check in."

Alexandrie nodded at the Professor looking around to see if anyone else wanted to practice Horolos, which she doubted. She shifted to one foot to another in waiting to see if she would work with a partner or alone, either way Alex didn't mind.

Leaning forward on the table, she grabed another cookie after finishing her first one, this time going for a chocolate chip cookie. Her eyes settled on the professor spoke and offically started the meeting. Though she did need to work on the Horolos spell that's not why she was here, she could do that in her free time. What she was here for was to learn new conjuring spells, since it was one branch of transfiguration that she was really good at. "Can we learn new conjuring spells if we don't want to practice Horolos?"

"Absolutely," he nodded as he spoke. "So, two groups so far? Those who would like to continue working on class work and another who'd like to learn a new spell."

He looked to the others gathered. "And don't worry. Any new spells we learn here won't be tested. Purely for your own personal knowledge."

Alex glanced around not seeing a point of answering, the Professor knew she wanted to learn Horolos..but learning thaat conjuring spell would come in handy for dueling hmm.. She would see if she had time to learn both if not she could always read the conjuring spell from the Library. "What if we're done with whatever we decide to do?" Alex asked raising her hand, she knew he did know she needed to learn Horolos..and she nearly had it down last time before she set herself on fire.

With her head on the table, Evelyn listened to the Professor start to speak, half in a daze, and the other half...making sure Destiny and Marie didn't kill eachother with 'lima bean' cookies.

As far as what she wanted to do here, she was a bit stuck on that question. What did she want to do? Learn stuff, of course. But now that she thought of it, that was insanely boring. Unless the stuff she was learning was actually fun and interested her. In fact...this class may as well help her with something, she was slightly working on. "Professor? Could we learn more about animagi? I mean, of course we shouldn't attempt it, but just studying it and the way it works. Or unless, you have any books you could recommend..."

Having perfected Horolos, Patroclus wanted to practice something else, but with so many choice within the subject of Transfiguration, he didn't know what to pick. However hearing a voice mention animagi, the choosing was done for him.
"Professor I like the animagi idea, and it would be great to learn about it, in a setting such as this where you are able to monitor us, rather that reading about it and failing at it elsewhere!" He added the last little bit, so the Professor would be more inclined to teach them on a subject that had fanscinated Patroclus for as long as he could remember.
