A set of paths link the courtyard to various areas of the grounds. It’s nice to walk along either on your own or with a friend. The trees on either side of the path help to create a light atmosphere. So go on, take your time and soak up the fresh air, heaven knows students need it.

Libriana walked along a pathway that took her in front of the Quiddich Pitch. She wondered if she could play for the team if she was a First Year.

Kiera Valkere was wandering down the paths, her second favorite part of hogwarts. And easy place to escape all the stress of school, and not many people came by around this time, although Kiera swore she saw a young second or first year girl, she couldnt tell for sure her age though. For some reason Kiera felt upon herself to say hello, and that she did. "Hello there!" She yelled louder than may have been required, but no one else was out. Might as well have some fun.

She was in a much better, today, then she had been for the past week or two. The return to Hogwarts had cheered her up - something she hadn't expected, THIS much - and, on top of that, was the Giant Treehouse.

It had just made her day.

Week.

YEARRRR.

But maybe it was too early to say that. Still, she could have some fun, while all was still happy and fuzzy and warm - Gold hoped it would stay that way, too, but that looked like too much to hope for. The sixth year tucked a bang of bright red hair, behind an ear, and walked along a random pathway. She knew the grounds by heart, now. Most of them, that is.

But one can never fully discover Hogwarts.

Yeah.

Marie was out walking the grounds hoping to find Carter. She hadn't seen him since they left the feast and she was really missing him now... even if it was just last night that she seen him. Things were going really good with them since she finally admitted her true feelings to him on the train and she really hoped they would only get better as the term went on.

Not only were things good with her and Carter but it seemed as if her and Evan were on the way to becoming friends once again. Yes, life was good for her right now... except for the fact that there were a few students who seemed to be rather upset with her because of her relationship with Carter. She didn't want to think about them though, she just wanted to concentrate on finding Carter. Finding herself on one of the pathways she kept walking hoping to run into him. After walking for a few minutes she seen the reddest hair ever...

GOLD!

Momentarily forgetting that she was looking for Carter she ran up to Gold and gave her a hug. "Hey you, how are you doing?" Sure she had told her last night that she was doing good but Marie had a feeling that she had been holding back. Maybe now that no one was around they would be able to really talk.

Kevin wandered into the pathways and looked about it was great to refamiliarise himself with hogwarts and the grounds

"Marie!"

Gold returned the hug, more glad than she could put in words, to see the younger Slytherin. "Much, much better than I was, over the summer," she said, as she motioned towards an empty bench, not too far off - they might as well sit down, because Gold had a lot to tell Marie.

"I see you settled for Carter," she said, giving Marie a mock-knowing look. "I hope it's working out for you - it certainly looked that way, last night." At the feast, she meant. Gold was just happy that Marie was happy. Though she did wonder how the latter's relationship with Evan, was.

Probably not too good?

Trixie was momentarily bored. She was never bored! Well she was never ored in Beauxbatons because she had so many friends *cough* Followers around. She decided to explore by herself the Hogwarts grounds. It was certainly prettier than Beauxbatons was but it still didn't persuade her that it was better. She strutted her way down one of the pathways that were in the grounds of Hogwarts. She flicked her blonde hair back.

Herminny was taking a walk along the pathway heading toward the grounds which held so amy new treasures . She could not wait to explore it all.
Before she had finished the path she saw a girl she had not seen around. She dicided it could'nt hurt to intrduce herself and maybe make a new freind sso she walked over to the blond and extended her hand and said, "Hi, I'm Herminny".

Trixie turned as she heard an unfamiliar voice taking near her. She raised an eyebrow "Trixie Malfoy. Slytherin. Pleasure'' she said coldly not shaking the girls hand. She didn't know her so she wasn't going to be too formal, although Beauxbatons girls had been taught respect so she gave the girl a curt nod and a sweet sickly smile.

This girl did not seem nice at all. With the tone of her voice and that sickly smile she knew this girl was trouble but she certainly could not have been a Hogwarts student for all that long. she had never seen her untill today and she knew some Slytherins had attitude so she did not question it she just asked the girl, "Where are you from, I have not seen you around before.".

Trixie raised an eyebrow. Mustn't have been a Slytherin seeing as most of the Slytherins replied in the same tone or told her that she was a stuck up girl. "No this is my first term. I'm from Wales" she said sarcastically, she knew that the girl meant what school were you from ut she decided to fake that she was offended. "I attended Beauxbatons" she declared proudly.

Libriana turned around and noticed a girl. "Hi."

"Hi im Kiera! What your name? I havent seen you around here before" Kiera noticed she was babbling agian...oops. Habit's were always hard to break, although Kiera normally didnt talk to people. So maybe she never broke that annoying habit of hers. She flipped her long lovely blonde hair back waiting for the girl to answer.

"I'm Libriana. That's because I'm a first year here." Libriana smiled. She noticed that the girl had a weird look on her face. "Are you ok?"

"Oh wow thats a really pretty name. Oh and are you enjoying yourself so far, i know i am, each year just gets more and more exciting." Kiera laughed realizing her annoyance must have slipped out onto her face.

" Oh yes I'm fine, i jst realized i was babbling alot over there. Sorry about that talking seems to be my talent this year." Kiera smiled, this first year seemed rather interesting.

She smiled back. "Thanks I think your names pretty too. Yeah, it feels good here. Really? Thats good." She took her jet black hair down and let it fall past her shoulders. "It's ok. I think losing house points is ours." Libriana laughed.

"Oh yeah it is. I think some people are seriously anti-Slytherin, but truly we have the best house around. Although i have friends in Hufflepuff, and their pretty cool too. Aww thank you!" Kiera smiled, most people complimented her on her looks or attitude, but never her name. Ego-boost! "Have you made any friends yet?"

Libriana looked around. She had noticed the looks she got when she looked at a different house. "Yeah I noticed. I've got friends in Gryffindor and Ravenclaw but not any in Hufflepuff yet. Yeah." She smiled at Kiera.

Ellie was exploring the castle, walking down some path when she spotted Libbi.

"Hey, there. See, I told you I'd see you around." she walked up to Libbi and smiled.

"I've never made any friends in Gryffindor, but I've met a few ravenclaw's also. But thats good your only a first year and it seems like you have more friends than i do" Kiera threw her hand over her mouth wondering why why why that of all things had slipped out. Why did she have to be such a blabber mouth today!

She laughed. "Yup." Libbi replied with a smile.

Ellie smiled at Libbi and turned to the girl she was talking to.

"Hi, name's Ellie." she said, introducing herself.

Libriana blushed. "Well I'm sure that Gryffindors take time to become their friend because of all the tension between the houses. I'm sure you have more friends then I do seeing as though you've been here longer then me." She said reassuringly. "What was Professor Truebridge going on about this morning in the Dueling Arena?"

"Hello there Ellie, my names Kiera I'm a fifth year. What year are you?" Kiera said smiling forgetting her little laspe in poise and flipped back her blonde hair.

"Yes i suppose, i dont paticullarly like them that much to begin with so i guess i can understand. Haha your a kind kid." Kiera sighed shaking her head sadly "I have no idea, personally i walked in a bit late and everyone was in a complete uproar. But we lost house points. So whatever it was it wasnt good."
