"There's something I wanted to ask," she said, after a moment. "I was wondering if I could intern, with you? I want to become a healer, and I interned with a French hospital, over the summer; but I'm always on the look-out for more experience."
She paused, then continued, "I know you're really busy, but would it be okay if I spend some time here, make observations and take notes; and, whenever you have some free time, I could discuss any questions or difficulties I have, with you? If that's okay, of course."

Ah, another child wanting to work with her in the hospital. "You're right, it gets very busy, very fast." She nodded. Except for about now, were there was a much needed lull.
"I've had another student, just the other day come in and ask me the very same thing." Briefly, she wondered if this was a common occurrence every term, or simply the students had been inspired by the job fair.
"So, I will have to work a schedule out between the two of you." She tapped her fingertips on the desk, "And I will have to tell you the same thing I told her, your school work, studies and other extracurriculars should not suffer on my account." | |

"I understand," she said, politely. "I won't let my grades suffer either, ma'am. I need them, if I want to become a healer." She had twelve OWL's, most of them O's, and she had no desire at all to let her grades fall. She was going to try to get better ones in her NEWT's.
Hopefully, she could. Would.
"Thank you." For deciding to work out a schedule, and not turn her down. "When should I come back to pick up the schedule, professor?" Unless Healer Moretti wanted to owl it to her, later on.
