Amy shook her head, boys, so random, not unlike myself, she smiled and stood up, looking at the time, I'm going to get dinner, see you Jay, she said as she began to limp off towards the castle. Stupid book! she muttered angrilly under her breath

Gold had to laugh, when Chris spoke. Sappy. But cute, too. "You're silly," she said, tilting her head a tiiiny bit to the right, to look at him out of bright, green eyes. "But that's kind of adorable." She gave him a small, but warm, smile, before following his glance, round the Courtyard. She hadn't realized it was beginning to get this crowded.
She was surprised when Chris took her hand, but only for a moment. "Of course not," she said, when he asked if she was coming. "You don't expect me to walk all the way, there! Get the royal carriage, Kind Sir -- I'm a princess, remember?" Which she actually was because, you know, every girl is. In Gold's opinion, at any rate. Laughing lightly, she decided to stop joking around, and rose to her feet. "Let's go, then."
She wanted a Chris!hug.
...and some popcorn.
The sun was shining brightly on the Front Gates of Hogwarts, causing them to glitter and throw of a bright prisom of light towards the advancing Gryffindor Prefects. Chris lifted his hand to sheild his eyes, not the one that was closed intimately in his company's. "Geez, Gold could you have picked a more sunny spot?" he grinned as he joked with her. He walked over to a nice spot of grass and just fell backwards on his back to look at the clouds, the wind blowing at his light brown hair.
Gold was pulled along for the trip. Chris was back to his old playful self.

Oh my, it really was sunny, here.
Gold had frankly not expected it to be this sunny, but that was okay. Sunlight isn't bad for anyone - well, scratch that if you're a vampire, or something of that sort. But it was nice, as a general rule. Gold liked it, at any rate. "Gold, remember?" She told him, with a laugh. "The spot goes with the name." Sunlight, golden, shiny. See?
She let him choose a spot, and was surprised when he... 'fell' on his back. "That cloud looks like a teddy bear," she said, placing an elbow on the ground, and leaning slightly on it.

Chris put his hand behing his head to cusion it against he ground and laughed and then spoke to the girl laying beside him. "You are a funny one, you know that?" he said in return to her name pun. Gahh got to love those Cheeeesy jokes.
Then she pointed up at the sky and pointed out a cloud. "A teddy bear?" he turned his head to the side and scruntched up his mouth and nose as he squinted at it for a second. "Yeah I see it." he said grinning finally. "Ooh and look that one is shaped like Professor Borr, remember him?!" he chuckled to himself as he pointed out the large, blob-like cloud above them.

Gold rolled her eyes. "I've heard I am," she said. "I've also heard that I'm pretty, intelligent and ... all-around awesome?" Okay, so she was joking, now. She grinned at Chris, before the grin softened into a smile, and she looked away. It was nice to have him, there. In a ... pretty sweet way.
"I don't, in fact," she frowned, ever so slightly. "I think he taught here, a term before I transferred. Not sure, exactly, but I've heard people mention him." She squinted at the cloud, above. It was sort of - for lack of a better word - bulbous. "He can't have been that fat," she mused out loud.

Really!
Chris fake scoffed. "Well you know what? I have heard those same things about myself at times. It sounds to me as if we are just a couple of awesome people then." he then laughed and ran a hand across his face, covering his eyes from the sun a bit.
Even though his eyes were hidden behind his hand you could still see his eyebrows scrunch together as he remembered. "Oh yeah, I forgot you transferred right after that. It seems as if you were here all along." he girinned showing his white teeth. He loved being like this with her, all funny and open. "And for the record he was--or at least very close to it." he added as a funny afterthought.

This was definately turning out to be a good day.
"Of course you have," Gold said, smiling lightly. "I mean, the fact that you are with me, automatically makes you awesome."
Hehe.
"People tend to," she agreed, with half a smile. "I feel like I've been here all along, too. Hogwarts is like a second home, now." She looked up at the cloud, again. It was floaty and warm and fuzzy and it was -- going away. "Professor Borr is leaving us," she said, pouting. "Tell him to come back." She hadn't even had a proper look at him. AND her Teddy Bear Cloud was nowhere to be seen, either. Gold wanted it back.

... and that wasn't silly at all.
Chris couldn't help but grin uncontrollably at Gold's comment. "I see so I guess we can just be awesome together then." he sat up on his elbow and turned to look at her. She was very pretty here in the sunlight, her green eyes shining. She had definately picked a good spot. Was it on purpose...perhaps? *snort*
Chris turned and then made a sad face as she was right, Professor Borr-cloud was leaving. "It is probably because he is too gas-eous." he stated trying not to loose himself in a fit of laughter. She probably wouldn't get it but he sure did. Maybe he could explain later but this moment was not the time to explain things of that explosive manner with a girl that he is starting a relationship with. "Hmmm well there will be more, don't worry." he removed a strand of her red hair that had fallen in front of her face and tucked it behind her ear.

Gold grinned. "I like being awesome. I can be Awesome!Gold, and you can be Captain!Awesome. Or Head Boy!Awesome," she added, as an afterthought. She had forgotten Chris was the Head Boy.
Silly.
"Mm?" She didn't get his remark, of course. If she had had, Gold would have chuckled. "I hope that wasn't meant to be funny," she added, as she noticed the change in his expression - like he was trying not to laugh. "Because I didn't get it at all." She was surprised when he reached out and -- tucked a strand of hair, behind her ear. But her lips turned up into a smile.
Antonia was still not happy about being here. Why couldn't she be spending the year with her dad, wherever the heck he was right now? Antonia still had no clue. Hogwarts was all right, but she hated being out here on her on.

Simon ran upto his cousin he had been looking for her for ages. "Antonia, Antonia." Simon shouted as he run up at her. "Antonia I have a reply from the letter we send to our parents." Simon smiled as he stopped next to her. "Want to read it?"
Antonia saw her cousin running up to her. "Simon! I've been wondering where you were." Then she looked at his black and yellow tie. "Oh, got sorted into Hufflepuff, did you?", she asked. "Yeah, that suits you, you have the outgoing personality for that."
Antonia then realized that Simon was telling her that he had gotten a letter they had sent to their parents. She smiled. "Yes, I would love to read it!", she answered, almost jumping with excitement. "Let me see it now!" "Please," she added as an afterthought, realizing that she was being a bit rude.
Kay had walked to the front gate and looked out. Maybe she should write home and ask to be moved to another school. Somewhere the kids weren't so mean. How did one Im sorry turn into a big fight? Why had rex gotten so mad about her touching Oliver hand? Sighing she sat down by the gate and waited. Hopefully Oliver would come. Or maybe he wouldn't. Maybe he was mad at her too? She leaned down on the gate and would wait until dark. Then she could run back to the castle before she got into trouble for being out after dark.

Simon thought about making her wait because she had demanded to see the letter but then she said please so he passed it over for her to read.

Dear Simon and Antonia,
I am glad that you seem to be having fun and I hope that you are both enjoying Hogwarts, I can't say much about why we are were we are but I can say that if we decided that you need to know then we will tell you, We are just talking about things and will be seeing you sometime next year, we doubt we'll see you before,
Antonio say's that Antonia is to stay at Hogwarts for the Christmas Holiday and Simon you know where you are staying.
Gold grinned. "I like being awesome. I can be Awesome!Gold, and you can be Captain!Awesome. Or Head Boy!Awesome," she added, as an afterthought. She had forgotten Chris was the Head Boy.

"Captain!Awesome," she laughed.
Chris grinned and chuckled lightly as Gold talked about their awesomeness. "I think I like Captain!Awsome the best, because Head Boy is just implied you know?!" He said as the wind began to pick up a bit, blowing at his hair.
"I'm sorry, it would have been epic had you known what I was talking about." he blushed slightly, the pink rising at the top of his cheekbones. And then she said captain! awesome as he moved her hair and he then whispered. "Here for the rescue whenever I am needed." Que winning smile.
Then suddenly his stomach growled. "Hmmm well you know what that means right? If I don't get any food soon I will end up devouring all of the cute Red heads near me, and since you are the only one..." he said with a mischevious smile, as he started to stand up.

Gold chuckled. "You mean to say Captain!Awesome isn't?" She asked, leaning over to poke him lightly, in the arm.
It was a surprise that she was actually having a good time. Not that Chris wasn't great or anything, but because she hadn't had a good time in quite a while, and was only starting to get used to laughter again, now. "Always needed," she said gently, before nodding.
Since she didn't want to be devoured, and all.
"I'm pretty sure you'll have lots of people to answer, at Hogwarts, if you do that," she said, as she rose to her feet, before giving him a tiiiny smile and heading back to the castle, with him.

Carter headed towards the front gate hoping to run into Mina. He hadn't seen her since the end of last term and really missed her. He smiled as he spotted her. "Hey there." he said walking toward her.

Simon Sr and Antionio.
"Thank you," Antonia said as Simon handed her the letter. She unfolded it began to read, a frown wrinkling her forehead as she did. "Well, it doesn't really tell us very much, does it?", she commented. "I think we're as much in the dark as we were to start with, maybe even more so. There is definitely something going on that they don't want us to know about, don't you think?"

Simon looked at his cousin. "I've been wondering the same thing since I got the letter." Simon sighed, "Why would they both be at Hollian if it's not for a friendly chat?" Simon said slowly. "Well since they haven't been talking to each other since your father decided to runaway from home, not that I blaim him or anything." Sometimes Simon felt like running away too. "Then they most be talking for offical reason and why can't we go to Hollian to see them at Christmas?" Simon had to lie here. "I'm going to Grandma's house for the holiday." She hoped she wouldn't ask why she couldn't because it would be aweful lying to her and he was sad about lying to her as it is.

Mina glanced up from a top her rock at the iron gates and sighed. Her mind wasn't all there and all she could think about was cupcakes and brownies.....and the urge to throw them. She seriously wasn't in her right mind, but when had she ever been completely in her right mind. Smiling to herself, she shook her head. Maybe she didn't really want to be in her right mind. It probably wasn't have gotten her anywhere anyway. Besides, she kind of liked the person she was at the moment. New friends and all.
Maybe this term wasn't going to be as terrible as she thought. She would just have to continue avoiding certain people and life would be easier on her. She didn't need them, did she? It wasn't like she hadn't gotten along without them since last term. A tiny part of her did miss them, but she had no idea if any of them still even thought about her any more. She had a feeling it would be just they same as before. Forget poor little Mina while they had boyfriends and girlfriends to occupy their time.
Jealousy and bitterness, doesn't suit you.
The voices were back again and annoying as always. She would just have to get used to them again. On most days, they weren't all that terrible. Letting out another sigh, she noticed someone approaching. At the her best friend, she first wanted to smile, but held back slight and smiled a tiny smile. "Hey stranger."
Simon looked at his cousin. "I've been wondering the same thing since I got the letter." Simon sighed, "Why would they both be at Hollian if it's not for a friendly chat?" Simon said slowly. "Well, I'm sure they have a lot to talk about, the two of them. It's been a long time since they've seen each other, but surely they would be finished talking by now!", Antonia said. She was getting really frustrated. "It feels like somebody is toying with us, keeping something away from us that we really should know, and I don't like it at all! What is this secret that they don't want us to know about?"
Antonia listened as Simon said he was going to their grandmother's house for the holiday. "Lucky you, I'm stuck here at this awful old school for the whole holiday season," she grumbled. "What did I do to deserve this? Does my dad hate me now or something?" She wiped a tear from her eye. She seldom cried and liked to pretend she was tough, but this was really getting to her. She brushed it aside with the sleeve of her sweater, hoping that Simon hadn't noticed.
