Whew, that was close. Mina had really thought she had said too much and Carter was going to ask her more. "Jade really does it out of love and all," she laughed. "It's not that bad compared to the stuff my real siblings put me though and all." Mina was the closest thing Jade had to a sibling, so it was understandable she teased her so, but Mina always knew she could go to her cousin for anything advice as well.

"Oh it should be, I might even get to go to a football game," she smiled. Oh was she looking forward to that. She had a feeling it might be one of the highlights of her summer.

Mina smiled and shook her head. "I can't make a promise, but I'll try to still be me," she laughed. Her sisters weren't all that terrible, but she wasn't about to turn into them completely. She was way to independent and adventurous for that.

I was crazy, but I'm normal again." she smiled. Yes, she was getting back to the Mina she once was and maybe even a happier Mina at that.

Returning the hug, she attempted to smile again. "I still fell terrible about it, but I'm normal now and I promise to never do such a thing again," she said as she crossed her heart. She didn't want to hurt those she cared about again and she would do her best to keep her promise.

He laughed again. "You'll have to let me know who makes it to the ranks next." he said. Maybe they could start a little club, make buttons, or something.

Maddie smiled as she walked back through the gates to the castle. It was good to be back - it felt like coming home. It was home, in a way. She flicked her wand a little, and the trunks that were levitating in front of her gently came to rest on the ground. She glanced around a little, to see if any of her friends were there. Hopefully they'd still want to be her friends. Hopefully.

Maddie smiled back and somehow removed herself from Sel's bone-crushing hug/death grip. Ouchies.
'Good to hear' she said, gigglin a little as well 'Is Hogsmeade open?' she asked quickly. She hoped it would be, the Three Broomsticks had seemed nice the last time she'd been there. 'Whatchamacallit training?' she asked, laughing. she supposed Sel meant the ettiquette lessons with her mother about 'how to be a proper lady' 'It was alright... my mother's obviously a bit insane though'

Selena shrugged. Awwwh. She was gunna hug Maddie till she died for leaving in the first place. Rawrs. Meanie. "Yes, whatchamacallit training," she sighed. "Your mother is bloody insane for doing that to you!! I feel absolutely terrible!!" she said with a bit of a pout. Hogsmeade... Hogsmeade... "Hmm... not sure... I think so... oh... no... wait... I was supposed to meet Emma there later at the Hogs Head!!" Selena said triumphantly. "You wanna come, you wanna come?" she said. She was just a teensy bit hyper now that Maddie was back. Just a little.

Maddie giggled a little as Sel looked a bit put out. She gave her another hug to make up for it, but made sure to let go before bones were broken.
'Why d'you call it that again?' she said, wondering what the significance of the word 'whatchamacallit' was, and if it was even a word. 'Yes, well, she's my mother. Was my mother.' meh. Is/was no big difference. Her parents had a divorce, and Maddie now lived with her father on the Force Estate. Her mother lived somewhere in London, apparently. Hmm. 'Of course I want to come!' she said excitedly, happy at the prospect of seeing some of her other friends.
