Vanessa frowned a bit but nodded. "Congratulations." She said simply. She knew that nothing would change his decision and that they had decided to move on. It was hard, but she was at least trying. She would not let herself yell at Ella just for being with Patrick, she already did it once and it would probably hurt her more. "Well that's...great." She said with a smile. Just the thought of them together makes her shiver but she knew she would have to live with it.

Rae had been on one of those things where she walks somewhere and she has no idea where until she snaps out of her trance.... This time she was snapped out of it by tripping on.... Her own feet? She looked around to see where she was, hmm, Rae was guessing the second floor but she couldn't even be sure because she had no recollection of even walking there. Now she just looked stupid standing around by herself and looking like she hasn't slept in days.

Disgusted!

That was what Destiny was. Sure, Marie was her friend and all, but seriously, kissing Carter? Kissing anyone in general!? Gah! She needed to tell Evelyn, and was so glad she had found her. Only..what was her friend doing on the second floor?

"It was gross!" she started, shaking her head..hoping that would erase the memories. "There I was, sitting in a bush..bird watching, and all of a sudden Marie and Carter come and start KISSING! Then, I pop out at them, and try to drag them to the Healer." That didn't end so well, and she hoped Evelyn wouldn't ask too many questions.

As they rounded a corner, the suits of armor caught the attention of Destiny, and she stopped walking. Were they always that shiny? She couldn't remember, but she did remember the girl standing by a few of them. "Rae! She was at the garden too!" she said, and started pulling Evelyn towards her.

Yeah, Destiny had seen the girl in the garden that day..

Yup.

Evelyn, listening to her friend intently, decided not to comment on the 'bird watching' bit, and continued to listen to...

"Ewwwww!" she said, giving her friend a disgusted and sympathetic look. Destiny WAS the one that had to watch that most horrible act take place. But that wasn't the only thing on her mind.

Marie and...Carter? Impossible! Marie was with Evan! Sure, she hadn't seen them together for awhile, but still. Marie could NOT be with Carter. Not only was he a Gryffindor, and possibly a muggleborn, but he was Marilyn's ex. That just, doesn't happen! "Wait, why did you drag them to the healer?"

However, she almost ran into Destiny when she stopped walking. "Why..." she started to mutter, but her unsaid question was already being answered. Rae? "So?" she laughed. What did Rae have to do with anything?

Unless, she was caught kissing someone too...

Ohhh. Apart from the obvious personal space issues that Destiny clearly did not mind breaking, Evelyn now realized why her friend mentioned the Slytherin. "HI RAE!!"

She could hear Destiny's voice traveling from around the corner, Rae turned around to look and when she did she saw Destiny and Evelyn.... Then she claimed she saw Rae in the garden....

How much had she seen? She had now figured out how Destiny and Evelyn were when it came to boys and girls together. But technically Rae wasn't WITH anyone.... Kinda. If she saw the beginning of it, then she was safe... If she saw the part where Xylon kissed her, that was NOT good. If she saw Rae kiss him back... She was bound to have special cookies delivered to her next... And if she saw the end, where she basically crushed him and he walked out on her... Then she had no idea what the outcome would be....

Whatever she saw... This wont be good....

Why was Destiny taking them to the Healer? Did she really have to answer that question? Evelyn should have known why.."Cooties, Evelyn!" After what had happened last term, she was sure her friend would remember that!

She had to put her hands over her ears as Evelyn gave Rae a very LOUD hi. Gah! Did her friend not know ears should not be yelled in? "Hi Rae! I was just telling Evelyn here about the garden. You were there, you saw what happened!"

Or she thought she did. Destiny wasn't really paying attention to what Rae was doing.

Rae stared at Destiny in shock, she had expected Destiny to start yelling that she had cooties too! Unless.... She was scared about getting all wet again... Not that Rae would do that but maybe she learned her lesson.. When Destiny spoke, Rae was sure it was to rat her out. She was amazed to find out it wasn't... "Oh.... erm.. Yeah I was there, though I only saw.... You on the ground, and then.... That one girl spraying water all over you, then... That muggle studies professor going 'round." Yeah, play it off like she wasn't doing anything worth gossiping to these girls.

Ohhh right. The dreaded cooties that Destiny was convinced still existed. If they ever did in the first place. What would a cootie look like anyways? Pink for girls and blue for boys?

Teehee.

Completely forgetting about Marie and Carter for the moment, Evelyn skipped the rest of the way to Rae, dragging Destiny with her. That is, before she heard her friend was on the ground and Lawson had been there. "Waaaait! You totally skipped why you were on the ground." Did Carter hurt her? With his muggle stuff or something?

Or maybe cooties really did exist and it hurt her. Hmmm. Looking at Rae when she spoke, Evelyn raised a brow and smiled. "Why were you there?"

Awesome, distraction from her and onto Destiny. Now they would have loads to talk about without talking about why Rae was there. Rae drew a sigh of relief then...

Evelyn had not forgotten....

"Oh, i was just..... Taking a walk around the place... Never been there before so i thought i'd check it out... Then i saw Destiny....." Hopefully this was a good cover story though it was not likely....

Ohh.

Darn that Rae! Telling Evelyn she was on the ground! Destiny was surprised her friend wasn't off dragging her to the showers to wipe the dirt off of her. Well, Marie had washed all the dirt right off her, didn't she? "Well, I was trying to get Marie and Carter to the Healer..and then I "passed out". Lawson came and well, it was not fun." Fun for him, but not for her.

If it wasn't for that stick she had found, she probably wouldn't have even noticed Rae in the garden. "Yup." she said agreeing with Rae. Why did she do that, she didn't know. It felt like the right thing to do. "She saw how Marie and Carter ganged up on me..trying to get me in trouble."

Those jerks.

"You...passed out?" she asked, looking at her friend in disbelief.

She could definitely feel the bubble of laughter rising...

But she will not laugh!! Because laughing at her friend was unacceptable!! *snicker*

Snicking just a little however, she turned back to Rae, shaking her head. "You hesitated in your sentence so obviously there was more to it than just walking around." she finally laughed. Pssh, lying to Evelyn? Now THAT was unacceptable.

But, the mention of Marie and Carter again momentarily distracted her. She'd need to have a talk with Marie. Carter wasn't a good choice! Evan was though!

Was Destiny blaming Rae for her misfortune that she clearly caused herself? What defense could she possibly provide? The Truth? HAH! If she told the truth she might get herself into more than just being blamed for not helping Destiny and her fake fainting... "Uh... What? No, I- I didn't see that... I just saw her splash you with water... Then you woke up or something... Once you were up there wasn't anything i could do... The Professor was already there.." Her nerves were definitely on edge.


Ughhhhhhh! "Okay fine i wasn't alone. But it's a bit difficult alright?"

"No! Of course I didn't really pass out! I was pretending so Carter and Marie would go to the Healer." Gosh! Evelyn asked too many questions! She sometimes gave Destiny a headache. She snickered as Rae started explaining what she saw in the garden. If anything, Destiny was the one ganging up on Carter and Marie.

And if Lawson wasn't there, Rae was totally going to help her!! "Lawson. He ruins everything!"

And she wanted to say more about that man, but stopped when she heard Rae say she was with someone. Was this person invisible? Destiny didn't see anyone with her.

But then again..she was kinda busy.

Well, that was a very poor way to get them to the healer. "Why didn't you just use incarcerous on them or something? And if you get caught, tell them they were hit in the head with the whomping willow and were acting crazy."

Pfft, that's what she would have done. Or let them stay where they were. However, she really would have enjoyed hexing Carter till he passed out...and THEN took him to the healer.

But more of that later. Rae admitted there was more to her story, and one she quite expected. With someone! NOW they were getting somewhere. However, with the ton of her voice and her choice of words, it was someone she didn't want to be seen hanging around with. "So?" she asked, looking expectantly at Rae with a very Big smile

"Who's this someone you were with?"

"Incarcerous both of them? How would I bring them both to the Hospital Wing? There was no way I'm making two trips." Up and down all those steps..twice..carrying a person each time. Evelyn was out of her mind. Besides, Destiny would have rather used physical force on someone than tying them up with ropes. What if they escaped?

Evelyn..she was nosy. But Destiny was too.

She turned around to face Rae, waiting for her to answer the question. That's if she answered. If Destiny was asked that, she would ignore it, yup. "Xylon Saar?" she repeated, shaking her head. "Never heard of him."

Perhaps he was a Huffie.

"Levitate Marie and drag Carter." Duh! Pfft. Simple as that!

Turning back to look at Rae, Evelyn frowned for a moment, trying to remember what was said in the kitchens. "Xylon...the guy you spoke about in the kitchens?" she asked, raising another brow at the Slytherin.

OOOooooooOOOOOooo! Rae and Xylon were walking together!!

Jeez, why did she feel so hyper?!

Great, Evelyn remembered her rant in the kitchens.... "Yeah, that guy." Did they even catch that part about the row? They didn't even seem to notice that part. They automatically assumed that there was a connection or something. Which there WAS, but that ended quickly...

Destiny wanted to tell Evelyn to levitate Marie and drag Carter, but she held her tongue. No need to say things like that! She laughed a little bit, before getting distracted by the shiny suits of armor again.

Seriously, WERE they this shiny last term!? The house elves must have been working double time after cleaning up the mess from last term.

Kitchens. Destiny heard Evelyn say that word, and she turned to face her friend. Were they..going to go there and eat!? No. They were talking about the guy again. Lost on what they were talking about, Destiny took a seat on the floor, and went back to staring at the armor. "What house is this guy in?"

Hopefully not Hufflepuff.

That guy.

Although, one thing that did not escape Evelyn's attention was that she still didn't know what house the guy was in. Obviously wasn't a Slytherin, otherwise Rae wouldn't have been so hesitant to tell them right?

Just about to ask though, Destiny had spoken up, speaking her thoughts. Yes, she would like to know that answer.

And she still hadn't forgotten that they had a row. So, if he hurt Rae, than the house he was in was definitely needed information.

"He's a seventh year Gryffindor." Not that it really mattered. Ugh she did not want to think about this anymore. Yes it was her fault, but that didn't make it hurt any less. She sat on the floor aswell and looked at Destiny, "You couldv'e hexed them then gone to that professor saying you saw them duel and they needed the healers." Even though Rae didn't like her intentions she added anyways...

Forget the fact the Xylon is a seventh year GRYFFINDOR...

Did Destiny hear what Rae said?! "GENIUS." she whispered loudly, glancing wide eyed at Destiny before looking back to Rae.

And then back to Destiny again.

"Did you hear what she SAID?" Hex them and then blame it on a duel. That was like perfect! And fool proof! Almost. She could see one little flaw in that matter...but...it didn't matter!

Rae hopee they wouldnt start on the whole gryffindor thing... Though a pleasnt thought was that she would have something on Evelyn if she wanted to complain about a gryffindor guy. Instead she commented on her supposed genius idea. Though she only said it to get off subject.

Ahh, a Gryffindor.

Well, that was just a little better than being a Hufflepuff. After all, they wore yellow. Who wants to walk around looking like a giant sunflower? She chuckled at the thought, but her expression suddenly turned into one of serious when Rae mentioned a duel. "I..didn't even THINK of THAT!" she said..loudly, turning to face the Slytherin. That girl was a genius!

Hmm. She could have told her that earlier though. "I'll remember that for next time. 'Specially since Marie and Carter are..dating."

Gross.

Apparently her distraction idea turned out to be a genius idea... But if she got in trouble for that idea.... "Just make sure you take full credit if you get caught..." she did NOT want to be stuck in that one...

As for Xylon... Wonder what he's doing? Probably thinking of more reasons to hate her.. Why was she so stupid? Why couldn't she just trust someone? It was all perfect until...... Her stupid senses knocked in.. Rae looked down the corridor so that her head was turned away from Evelyn and Destiny just in case her vision got a bit blurry... Then again... If that happened she could tell Destiny that someone might have hexed her earlier and it didnt happen until now and it was to her eyes and she needed to be taken to the healer.. Destiny would probably jump at that opportunity to take ANYONE to the healer.
