Trixie laughed. "No need to hide your tracks pretty boy" she said with a smirk. "I'm not interested. I already have my eye out thank you very much. Oh and I know about your situation. Olivia happens to be one of my best friends so I wouldn't go hurting anyone" she said with a smirk.

Justin's head hit Trixie's eyes. Damn! She was telling the truth. "I don't plan on hurting Olivia. Its her I'm ditching the other girl for. I'm taking it if I hurt Olivia you'll eat me alive" he replied. Then he though about something. "What if she hurts me though?" he said. That was confusing him. He knew she'd east him alive if he hurt Olivia but he was curious about what would happen if it was Olivia who hurt him. That was a good question. He knew the answer but still it was worth wasting 1 minuts to ask.

Trixie folded her arms. "I most certainly will. We were good friends in Beauxbatons and the first friend I had when I arrived here" she said tossing her hair a little. "What do you mean what would I do if she hurt you? We're Beauxbatons girls what do you expect us to be?" she asked a little fustrated by his accusations. "We may be a lot of things but we certainly aren't disloyal" she said. "And if she did I would have to side with her wouldn't i? Seeing as your a prat" she teased at the last bit.

Justin giggled. He had to admit, she was fun to talk with even if she was insulting him left, right and centre. "I guess so. Olivia tried to make me be unfaithful, and succeeded so I guess she's too charming for me to stay faithful around. But I won't hurt her. I don't wanna end up dead to the world. You scare me" he replied sounding playful on the last sentence.

Trixie grinned and giggled. "Good. That's what I intend to do. See us girls can be extremely intimidating" she said noticing that she was slightly taller then he was. "And you'd better not be unfaithful" she said with a glare. Yes he most certianly would be dead.

Justin stepped back slightly. "I've been unfaithful with her not to her. I wouldn't do that. I know I've done it once but that was because Violet's in detention so I couldn't break up with her there and then but when she's out of detention I will" he replied. She was extremely intimidating.

So.

Baking wasn't exactly a skill that Cela could claim. She'd done everything she could, mastered the charms and followed the recipes... but without heart and without confidence, the result was one cupcake. One. Sad looking thing that she'd iced with something gooey and vaguely chocolate looking, a drippy looking, lurid green smiley face that she'd piped on meticulously that seemed rueful if you were to read into its expression, and... well she did tie a ribbon around the little paper cuppy thing to make it more festive?

The other cupcakes had been alternately burnt and still gluggy and uncooked.

This one kind of looked like a muffin at least.


She stood all hopeful and earnest and waited for a Raiden.

See... the thing was...

Raiden was half-decent with cooking now.

What with his mum being all gone, and his father at work during the day and part of the evening while he was at home, Raiden had gotten quite used to cooking for himself. And after a while, what with not really being able to do magic while on vacation... he'd picked up a few skills.

Baking cupcakes hadn't been that big of a stretch for him. And charms, if anything, made it easier. He was still a bit clumsy overall though, so... they hadn't come out perfect, and the icing was messy and would probably get all over Cela's fingers. He'd managed to make the icing go pink though, so hopefully she wouldn't mind it getting on her? Heh.

Making his way up to the second floor, he carried the squishy pinkified cupcake carefully. He'd already... managed to get icing on his own fingers. Brilliant. Cela was going to get herself covered in it.

Sigh.

Cela, as soon as she spotted a Raiden, held out her cupcake with a hopeful sort of smile. She'd tried super hard but it was kinda obvious that she wasn't completely confident.

"Cupcake?" She nibbled her lip and offered it.

Were she any other person, Raiden would have been hesitant to take the cupcake she was holding out. Even the green smilie on top looked as if it would start pouting at any moment were he to refuse it.

Hold out his own, he took the cupcake from her hand.

"Trade?"

"Pink!" Celandine answered approvingly. Raiden's cupcake smelled GOOD. Her cupcake smelled sort of like... melted plastic.

She took his and gave him a nervous sort of look again, then took a cautious bite of Raiden's cupcake, pink frosting instantly getting on her nose.

"Mmhmm. I thought you'd like th-" She already had it on her nose. Sigh.

Tentatively, he took a small bite of the cupcake Cela had made.

...

... well.

Nobody could be good at everything, he reminded himself. However, nobody should be this bad at... baking.

Cupcakes weren't supposed to be crunchy.

Or taste like they'd been baked inside shoes that a troll had been wearing around.

But, ever the dutiful friend... Raiden chewed up the bite and swallowed.

And hoped that it didn't come back up any time soon.

"...maybe I could help you with... baking. And stuff. If you want?"

Cela stopped nomming and smiled apologetically. "I'm... I... yes please. I'd like to be able to make something for Copernicus. And maybe cookies for Albert." But you know, if you sucked at things? You simply did not give your hopefully future father in law terrible cookies. Because then he might decide you are terrible and not let you into his cottage.

She looked at it hopefully. It wasn't that bad right?


... right???


"I did all the charms right." She offered, helplessly.

"I've gotten half-decent at it over the summers... any time, just let me know." They could even use the kitchens here, right? He'd seen people doing that before, though it had rarely crossed his mind to do the same.

Holding the cupcake in one hand, Raiden tried to... ignore it. Because he was nice and all that, but there was no way this entire thing was going in his stomach. Sorry Cela. He wasn't that accommodating anymore.

"I know you did. Baking is kinda... weird though, so it's okay." He reached out and wiped the pink icing off the tip of her nose with his thumb. "I thought you weren't so messy with stuff anymore."

The words were playful, not really a dig at her. After all... the cupcake was kinda messy.

"Thaaaaaaanks." Celandine laughed a little, slipped her wand free and vanished the remains of the cupcake she'd made. Oh humm? she had frosting on her nose?

She went cross-eyed following his thumb to and from her nose.

"Really? I don't mind a little mess. I just tried to be less messy because Copernicus isn't much of a fan of messes." She split the nommy cupcaked and solemnly handed part of it to Raiden. It'd taste better yes? Get icky weird Cela!cupcake taste out of mouth?

Vanessa was walking around the corridors and passed a Suit of Armor. She took a good look at it, over the details and shiny armor. She laughed as she thought of the saying the muggles used. "He's my night in shining armor." - Yeah right, like that was true. She shook her head.

Ella was leaning against the wall in the second floor corridor then decided to take a little stroll until she stumbled across the Suits of Armor. She wasn't really thinking of staying but a familiar someone caught her eye. "What are you laughing at?" She said as she came up behind Vanessa. No one was apparently with her..... great, Ella could see a confrontation happening very soon...

Vanessa heard that familiar voice from behind her and she rolled her eyes. She turned around and gave a forced smile. "Oh just thinking about somethings." She said looking back at the Suit of Armor then back at Ella. "How've you been Eleanor?" She asked calmly.

'Oh, I wonder what you are thinking about.' Ella thought, with a readible expression to match it. She was thinking about Patrick no doubt. Snort. "I have been pretty fantastic thanks." She said, learning to cope with people calling her Eleanor. Especially when it was people just trying to wind her up. "How are you Valerie?" She said with a wide grin. Not good hopefully. Ella stole her precious boyfriend! Mwa ha ha

Vanessa tilted her head. She would not let this girl get to her. No more yelling Vanessa, you'll just hurt your vocal cords. "Your welcome, I'm great and it's good to hear that your fantastic." She said smiling. She would not just breakdown again in front of this girl, now knowing that she's her enemy. It would just be plan idiotic. "What have you been up to recently?" She asked simply.

"Mhmm. I'm glad that you are 'great' as well." Ella smiled fakely. Why was she feeling 'great'? Maybe Patrick had gotten back together with her or something. Ella would NOT be a happy bunny if that happened. "Oh you know... just been here and there." She shrugged. She hadn't actually done much recently, well, not much to talk about anyway. "Seen much of Patrick lately?" It was only a matter of time until he surfaced up into the conversation.

Vanessa nodded and was getting quite bored of this conversation to be honest. Once she brought up Patrick's name she rolled her eyes. Of course he was going to be brought up at least once in this conversation. "Actually, no I haven't seen him lately. How've you two been lately then?" She asked. She was not going to tell her about the whole conversation between Patrick and herself.

"We have been just... fine." Ella said, trying not to sigh loudly. Truthfully, she wasn't sure about hers and Patrick's relationship. She knew they weren't exactly together, but where were they? She backed up her words with a wide smile, just so Vanessa wouldn't catch on to her doubts.

Vanessa raised an eyebrow as she heard her sigh. Something must have gone wrong... "Well that's great." She said smiling. Just then she realized something. Why was a 15 year old, 5th Year Slytherin, making her mad? It wasn't something she should be mad about over someone younger than her. "Anything big happen lately?" She asked trying to make conversation. Maybe they broke up or something, but then again Patrick had told her that they weren't exactly dating, they just...kissed.

Should she tell Vanessa? Ahh, decisions. Ella wasn't sure what Patrick would say if she told her about it so soon. Oh well. "Well, yes actually. Me and Patrick have decided to make our relationship official." She said with an evil smile but her concerns about their new relationship were still bothering her. In her mind, something told her that Patrick was only with her to make Vanessa jealous. Or maybe Ella was just a sloppy second choice. Ughh, stupid thoughts were ruining the moment.
