Right.

Xylon was officially clueless.

"I think I'm the one who should look devastated," he pointed out. "I'm about to graduate, remember?" He was making light of it but he didn't feel like it was something to make light of. Couldn't.

He wasn't even interested in the drama up at the Staff Table. But at least Fire had detached herself from Treubs.

Fallon smiled. "Of course. I'll send you a letter as soon as I ask him." She would make sure to ask as soon as she got off of the train in London. That probably wouldn't make her dad too happy. "I think it would be a lot of fun." She'd never been to anything like that, except for the one at school. This was different. "Huh? Right now I'm looking around to see if anyone else I know is coming this way. Which there isn't."

Selena sighed. It was the end of the year and she had made a whole load of points. Yup, she was satisfied. This was the best year of her life so far and smiled as she entered the Great Hall. Despite the face that she had lost friends, she had gained a lot more and she was grateful for that. And now, it was onto the summer time and she couldn't wait to see what would happen there. The year had been full of happiness, and it was the happiest she had been in a while.

She spot Diggy sitting there and smiled. And not to mention she had gotten a great boyfriend. The year had definitely been amazing. She walked over to him and her smile grew. "Hello Diggy," Selena said with a smile as she sat down next to him. "Ready for the summer?" she asked brightly even though she was going to miss her friends, she was going to see them all again and that made it a lot better.

Looking around she saw Emma with Trixie and smiled at them and waved. She was going to miss Emma. She looked to see if she could see Alex but had no luck, she wasn't there yet and neither was Leilani or most other people she knew.

Whaaat in the world? The one part she listens in on the conversation...

"Why would you be devastated about leaving school?" she asked, looking back over to the Gryffie with a confused expression, having totally and completely forgotten that some people actually liked school. Plus the fact that Rae was here and he wouldn't see her everyday like usual.

Until it started to dawn on her that is. Well, it still didn't make sense!

She didn't get it? "Maybe because I'm on my own now," Xylon said, lightly. For real. The truth doesn't hit you until the moment actually arrives. "Or maybe because there are people here that I would like to see, everyday." His gaze was still on Evelyn.

He paused. "It's like you might not like to come back to a Hogwarts that doesn't have Destiny or Marie or Rae. Or that Gryffindor you hang out with." What was his name? John? Josh? No idea. "You have a summer ahead of you, but you have familiar faces ahead of that summer. I'm going to step into a new world the moment I step out of here." Shrug.

New worlds were always a part of his thirst for thrill. But the knowledge that he was bidding farewell to an old one he loved..... not so much.

Alex could see Selena, and honestly she wasn't sure what to do about her ex-best friend.. she had been stupid and had lost her, simple as that. She took a seat hesistantly glancing around making sure it wasn't near anyone.. not that many were here yet either, she couldn't see Hermione or Zane yet and wondered where they were. She had considered sitting closer to Selena but decided against the idea, after all she didn't want Selena and Zane near each other after everything that had been said and done.. but lately she and Zane hadn't been talking or seeing much of each other, other then during classes of course. She played with her necklace waiting for Zane to appear. This year had been interesting and fun.. she had a hard time and seemed to always either be hurt or having to deal with someone being hurt.. maybe it was a good thing Selena didn't like her and no longer wanted to be friends, it meant that she wouldn't have to see Selena hurt.. in any way that wasn't emotional.

Leaning her head against her palm as she scooted herself to face the Gryffindor who, she could not remember the name of for some reason, Evelyn sat quietly, listening to him speak. Uh huh. Just as she suspected. It was because of Rae!

Until, he continued speaking that is. Oh, well, that made sense...she guessed. Hogwarts would pretty much suck without Destiny. Or Josh....or Marie, or Rae. And a few other people too. Hmm, a whole new world. She was going to semi-experience that this summer and the next half of this year too. However, it was...nothing compared to the whole new world this Gryffie was going into.

"I see what you mean." she nodded slowly before turning her attention to the table in front of her. And it totally just made her nervous for her own graduation four years from now. Hehe, fantastic.

Walking towards the Slytherin House Table, she took a seat in the middle. She was quite depressed that the term's almost over but was quite glad because she needed a break. And a good one.
Her eyes were gazing around when she noticed a gloom looking Alex sitting near by. Well why not go and say hello, right?

"Hey Alex." Dianna said as she waved from her seat. Hopefully she'll notice.

Alex turned to look at Dianna after she heard a greeting from the fellow first year, "Hey Dianna." Alex greeted waving a wand gracefully back, she really hated those pureblood lessons. She was slightly, alot disappointed that the Term was coming to an end.. but she would see them again eventually right? Hmm.. Too bad she didn't bring a book to read until the speech..

Dianna walked over and sat beside Alex. Every student here seemed gloomy and bored.

"So how was your term here?" she asked as she propped her elbows on the table.

Alex bit back her real reply, "Interesting, you know being to the Hospital Wing twice due to injuries, once for a friend.. and then disagreements and making enemies and no longer being friends with people.. you know the usual." Alex told her watering her year down.. a lot she realised remembering Bradin, yes this year was interesting, hopefully next year would be more tame. "How about your term?" Alex asked in response.

Dianna let out one small flat 'ha'.
"Well I could see that your term sucked." she said.
"My term was great. Busy but great. I don't know with you but I absolutely can't wait to come back for my second year." she smiled. "I mean I have been to the hospital wing once but..." she continued.

Rae listened to the two of them converse about leaving school or being on your own and whatnot. Rae understood the feeling. Though she still had school to come back to next year, she never had friends until this year so there was never much to look forward to. She looked between the Slytherin and the Gryffindor. "Speaking of summer..... What EXACTLY is going on?" Might as well just ask right? Even if Destiny wasn't here, she could be filled in later.

Kevin sighed as he made his way into the great hall he couldnt believe that it was the end of the year and that he only had two more years at Hogwarts and then he would be graduating himself he knew that he would have to ask his aunt when he got home about whether he was allowed to go to Iris and Emma's house during the summer he was sure that his aunt wouldn't mind

The end of term was here and now it was time for the feast. This was a night Marie had been dreading for a long time. Not only did it mean Professor Lawson would be leaving, it also meant she wasn't going to get to see Frankie or Kali anymore. It also meant this was the last night she was going to see Carter until who knows when. She was finally coming to terms with the fact that she wouldn't see him during the summer but that still didn't mean she wasn't going to miss him like crazy. There had been no mention of a certain puffylump going to Russia with him anymore so she assumed it wasn't going to happen. That made her feel a little better about Carter leaving the country.

Walking into the Great Hall she looked over towards the Gryffindor table. Not finding Carter anywhere she slowly went to the Slytherin table, found a spot that no one was sitting at (facing the Gryffindor table of course) and sat down.

Looking down the table she seen Evelyn sitting there with some other Slytherin girl and a Gryffindor boy. She didn't see Destiny yet though. She then looked up to the staff table. Right away she seen Professor Lawson sitting there with Professor Mrs. Lawson... and there was Destiny, standing right in front of him. Marie knew she should go up there and talk to him but she couldn't do it yet. She wasn't ready to say good-bye to him, not now... not ever.

As she started to look away from the staff table... before she started to cry, she noticed a bunch of students surrounding Professor Truebridge. What was that all about? Eh she would find out later.

She then glanced over at the Gryffindor table again. Still no Carter. She really hoped he was planning on coming to the feast, she wasn't ready for their time apart to start already. She put her head in her hands and looked down at the table.

This night was not starting out very good for her.

Nathan walked into the Great Hall and looked around. Another end to another year. He walked towards the Slytherin table and took a seat near the middle.

This. Was. So. Depressing. Cue deep sigh.

With a huge frown plastered across her face Nancy made her way down the aisle of house tables towards her own, looking for an empty seat. Now, where was Steven? He should be there for her in hard times like these...err, yeah, or something. Maybe she was dramatizing the whole thing a little but whatever. It WAS really sad. Sniff.

Plopping down on the bench without particularly looking who she was sitting next to the Prefect (or soon not to be Prefect anymore) stared straight ahead at her fork gloomily. So, this was it then? Bleh. But she had to be a little enthusiastic. She had to enjoy her last big feast here at Hogwarts after all.

Sooo...where was everyone?

Trixie was just about to answer her cousin when she saw the one person who'd she miss the most when they left sit down at another part of the Slytherin house table. Trix turned to her cousin with an apologetic smile. "Emma I'm really sorry but I will be right back" she informed the younger Malfoy before standing up and making her way over to her favourite prefect.

Sniff

"Nancy" she ran straight over and gave her a huge hug. "Nancy please don't leave me" she told the preect, tears beginning to fill her hazel eyes. She was so gonna miss her. What was she gonna do without her there next term? Was the next prefect gonna be as good as she had been? "Stay back a year...anything. Please" she pouted.

Whaaat? Evelyn...didn't want to talk about the summer yet. It made her slightly even more jittery. But, she supposed, it was something they needed to talk about. Sitting up straight once more, the Slytherin took a small deep breathe before letting it out slowly, starting to tap the table quietly again with her fingers as she looked around. Hmm, Marie was there...and Destiny was stalking Lawson...

Scooting down closer to the other two so she didn't have to raise her voice all that much, for a split moment, she almost forgot what she was doing during the summer. "Well, I know I'll be staying at Destiny's for most of the summer. That's, pretty much all I know so far."

Emma smiled at Sel, she waved to her. She was going to miss Sel. She turned to her cousin. "It's okay. I'll be back too!" she said, going over to Sel and Diggy. She slid down the bench next to Sel and Diggy. "Hey Sel! And you must be Diggy? Nice to finally meet my best friend's boyfriend!" she added, holding her hand out like a handshake to Diggy, whilst she was smiling at them both. She took out a camera and smiled at Sel. "I always cary one around with me know!" she exclaimed laughing. She saw Dianna and Alex together. "Hey!" she exclaimed, giving them a small wave. Then she saw Kevin and gave him a smile and a wave. She looked over at the Ravenclaw table to see if James was there. But he wasn't. She pouted softly. She really liked him.

Selena smiled at Emma. "Hey Emma," she said brightly. She looked at the camera and stuck out her tongue. Pffft. She did too. And next time she was definitely snapping pictures of Emma in her face. She glanced at the direction Emma was looking at and saw Dianna and Alex. Seeing Alex she looked away. "I'm going to miss you over the summer," she said with a bit of a pout. She was going to miss everyone over the summer. And everyone the next year if her mother pulls her out. And with that she took out her camera and snapped a picture right in Emma's face before smirking. "Cheese~" she said after the picture. Hehehe.

Emma was looking around and Selena gave her a questioning look.. "Looking for someone?" she asked.

End of Term Feast. Sadness. Chapter's closing for some, chapters opening for others. What a bittersweet time. Zane looked around the table trying to spot Alex. He had been busy lately, trying to avoid the end of the term. He sat at one end of the table, grabbing a piece of parchment and a quill and started doodling. He didn't really want to talk right now, he was fighting back tears because he didn't want to leave this place and go home. Hogwarts was beginning to be like home for him and no one ever wanted to leave home.

James had got so bored at the Ravenclaw table, he didn't know many people in his house and it didn't help that barely anyone was there, so he had decided to see who was at the Slytherin table because he knew a good few. He really hoped that Emma would be there, they might have only met a day or two ago but he really liked her. He was in luck, he saw her sitting down, but the only problem was that she was surrounded by friends, james was really not sure what to do, she probably wanted to say bye to all her friends, and to be honest he wouldn't be a priority, but after a few minuets of talking he walked over and said "Hey Emma, hope i'm not interrupting " he said hesitantly

Leilani took a seat at the end of term feast. Wow, a year went by fast. It was crazy how much had happened in so little time. She wasn't ready to go back to Joleit. Sure, she missed her dad and Aiden but she would miss everybody she'd met here too. Sigh. Now she couldn't eat. She didn't feel like eating.

Emma smiled at Sel. "Yes! I'm going to miss you too, Sel! You'll have to come and visit. My house is always open too you. Remember that, okay?" she said to her friend. Emma was not prepared for a picture. Oh noes! Sel had just gotten her. She laughed. "This is war!" she exclaimed, starting to click away at the camera getting pictures of Sel and Diggy. Awww how cute!! She smirked.

Emma noticed the questioning look from Sel. She gave Sel an innocent grin. "Oh me? No one.. just a friend of mine." she said, smiling at Sel.
Emma smiled happily at James. He came to see how she was. She was really glad to see him. He was already a great friend, and she felt like she had known him for all her life. "Hey! No you aren't! James this is my best friend, Sel and her boyfriend, Diggy. Sel this is my friend, James." she explained. She snapped another photo of Diggy and Sel. She stuck her tongue out and Sel. Then she turned to take a photo of James. "Say cheese!" she said to him, starting to click the button.
