"It's not obvious that you're trying to flirt with this guy Ms. Chase." Zane whispered to her. "So what is there to do between lessons you two?"

Bradin's eyes widened. "What does that mean? I have a girlfriend so I couldn't possibly date Chase" he replied. "And as for between lessons. Not a lot. Just hang around in Hogsmeade or in the grounds" he said.

Zane's eyes widen, "You weren't supposed to hear that!" he says quickly.

Chase widened her eyes.What?!?!?!?!?!!?!? She hissed.
Chase just starred at the two for a while.akward

"Lip reading works wonders" replied Bradin.

"Bloody hell, I'm sorry Chase. I'll go away now" he says, starting to get up.

Bradin looked at Zane. "Sorry if we scared you off. We're not always like this, it was just a bit of a shock" he said hoping it was enough to stop Zane being scared of them or avoiding them.

Cahse just sat there and starred at the two. She could tell she was still blushing. And she really wanted this dude to go away!

Zane see's Chase. "Yea, she wants me gone, I better go before she hexes me." he said, grabbing some pumpkin juice

Bwaha! "No, maybe you would send yourself one?" Gold teased. Hey! If Raven could have a go at her [she was a friend, after all], Gold could have a fun!go at her Slytherin!

"Not loony enough to send in a notice." She chuckled, before proceeding to swallow the last bite of food, on her plate. Gosh, they had been here, for a long while! "I think I should head back, now," Gold said, eyeing her wristwatch. "Meet you again, tomorrow?"

Ohh now that was not nice. Called for but still. "Maybe, though I don't believe I'm looney enough to send myself a notice to rent out a place like that honestly." Raven knew that Gold was just poking fun and wasn't taking it seriously but she still rolled her eyes sarcastically out of habit.

Once her bestie mentioned that she was going to head back, she sighed slightly but then realized that she also had somewhere else to be now and wasn't about to be late. "Of course, I'll be here..whenever really; just come find me tomorrow." Raven brushed her brown hair back then finished off her pumpkin juice.

Gold laughed. "We'll see, when the time comes."

Bwaha.

"I will." She fell quiet, for a moment. Then she shook herself out of her thoughts, and forced herself to smile. It couldn't have been clearer she did not like leaving Raven, alone. Ugh, why could they not have been in the same house? Though Gold knew Raven was a Slytherin through and through -- and as for herself, she couldn't even smirk, let alone be anything but a Gryffindor. So yes, that was a problem.

"Good night, Ravenator." She gave Raven a small, but warm, smile; and then stood up, walking out of the Great Hall.

Bradin looked at Chase who was now bright red. "Its not that bad Chase. He only thought that because of the way we were talking. I really don't know where he got it from but still" he replied. That didn't even make sense.

Then he looked at Zane and giggled. "Ok. See you around then. She won't hex you. At least I don't think she will" he replied still giggling a little.

"Mate, I'm not taking any chances!" Zane said, running out of the Great Hall.

Bradin laughed. That was kind of funny. "I'll see you around then when I'm not with Chase" he said as Zane ran out of the Great Hall. "We're mean. He scare's so easily" he said to Chase.

"He was smart to run"She said cooly. "And I would hex him"She added.

"I had to stop him from being so scared somehow. Even if it did mean lying" replied Bradin with a chuckle. He wondered why Zane was so scared of Chase. There wasn't much to be scared off. She was only being a normal Slytherin.

"I don't blame him for being scared"She said."But he must read minds since I never said or yelled anything"She said smiling.

Bradin giggled. "Must have. He has the right to be scared though. But you were only being a normal Slytherin" he replied.

Jack walked into the Great Hall. He took a seat at the Slytherin table and started eating.

Chase giggled." I don't think being that red is normal"She said laughing.Chase saw another dude.4!"Hey I'm Chase"She said smiling.

It was awkward, trying to carry a cat and his school things at the same time. Raiden stepped into the Great Hall, his bag slipping slightly on his shoulder as the smallish ball of fur wriggled against his chest. Roscoe didn't like the loudness of the hall. He liked food, for sure. But when there were other people around, the cacophony of voices made him skittish.

Still, Cela had said to bring him with, so he had done so. There was a little baggie of treats in his schoolbag, to placate the cat and coax him into staying still while they did their work; Raiden hoped that there would be enough.

Casting his gaze about, he looked for the Head Girl; she didn't seem to be there yet. At least, he hadn't seen her... hmmm. Patting the cat between the ears, he turned toward the Slytherin table and sat near the end of it, keeping himself separate from the other people there while he waited.

Cela bounded up not to long after Raiden had sat down, expression mixed with relief and annoyance and something else.

"Hi Roscoe!" She greeted the kitty first and then, "Hi Rai-Ra..." Cela trailed off, gave Raiden looks and then sat down in silence. She quietly unpacked her things, which consisted of a lock, a matchbox which happened to be hissing and some parchment and a quill.

Once she was done she gave Raiden another look. "You're not kidnapped." She was glad about this, obviously, but when nobody had seemed to know where Raiden was, when he hadn't apparently come back from Hogsmeade that day, she had kind of freaked out. It had been a supreme effort not to go immediately drag every professor out of bed, she had a feeling that he was okay.

But it didn't mean that she liked knowing that it was possible that he wasn't.

...uh oh.

He was in trouble, wasn't he. The look on Cela's face, and the way she'd just trailed off while giving him another look...

"Why would... what?" Kidnapped? So... she'd... oh Merlin. Raiden's face turned pink and his mouth immediately sealed itself shut. He stared very pointedly at the table, his expression that of someone who had just been caught sneaking sweets when they weren't supposed to have them. Celandine Toussaint had just reduced a seventeen year old boy to a guilty six year old.

There was really no way for him to explain this to her.

"It was an accident..."

"Kidnapping happens in Hogsmeade, Raiden." Celandine gave him another look, this one tinged with just a bit of sad. She added in a quieter tone, managing to keep accusations out of her voice, "And I noticed when you didn't come back." Cela reached for Roscoe and stroked the kitty.
