blacks...anyways I hope that our familia know each other." she trailed off unknowingly reading diana's mind. "but if your greAt-great grandparents are narcissa and Lucius malfoy and my great-great aunt and uncle, as well as cousins, are the same then does this mean we're like cousins then?" she asked shocked and confused. Not paying attention to selena's goblet now turning into a watch.

"okay why do you guys keep changing your goblet Selena? Ooo...your plate-clock looks kinda tasty haha."

"Family trees are annoying, all I need to know is who my parents were," Selena muttered. Family trees were too long and everyone was related. That's all she knew. She ate her breakfast. "I wonder if ice cream for breakfast is a good idea..." Selena wondered aloud. Heh. She was in a mood for some ice cream...

Savannah sighed and popped down on a seat. She opened the Potion book she's gonna read. Since she missed a lot, then she better catch up. Savannah let out a growl and put her head on the table.

"you don't know who your parents are?" Sarah asked shocked. It was all she could say.

"um...hello there. You seem to be in a great mood." she said sarcastically and laughed. "I'm Sarah, first year. I don't think I've seen you before." she said with a hint of curiosity. "but then again I haven't seen anyone here before since this is my first year and I only met Scarlett, my sister, for the first time two weeks before the school year started." she gave a light and slightly awkward laugh this time.

That probably came out the wrong way. "My bad, sorry, I have terrible grammar at times," Selena said sheepishly. "I know who my parents are, that's all I need to know," Selena explained. She turned to the other girl Savannah. She had met her in the beginning of the year. "We'ren't you the one who got detention from the fireworks in class?" Selena asked suspiciously.

Savannah looked up and bumped her head on the table again. "Hello Sarah." she said. "And yes, I am in a very good mood." she added. "You have a sister right? Well, at lease she's not your twin right?" she asked.

"Transfiguration Class. Homework is that we have to practice the spells we learned." she looked at Selena's clock and saw that it had a breakfast painted on it.
"Horolos." and Sarah's goblet turned into a gold pocket watch. "Oohh..Shiny..."
"Anyways there are a lot of people with the same last names as me and you.. You'll never know, we might be all related." she smiled.

"Savannah! Why are you bumping your head on the table?" she asked.

Selena saw the gold and wrinkled her nose. "Please, not gold," Selena groaned as she tapped it. "Horolos," Selena said as she performed the correct hand movement and picture a cuckoo clock. And there it was. "Much better," Selena grinned just as the little birdie popped out and spoke. Selena winced. "Or not..." she muttered. "Silencio," she said. Okay. Now it was, because it couldn't make a sound.

Hermione walked into the Great Hall. She was starving, and was hoping to have a quick lunch before she took a nap in the afternoon. She sat down at the Slytherin House Table and helped herself to a sandwich. She looked around to see if there was anyone she knew.

Alexandrie sighed sitting alone, she wanted to get a quick bite to eat before well she didn't know studying or reading? something like that she knew, She grabbed an apple and a sandwich, she perfered a balanced meal after all, she wondered why she even decided to go to this meal she could of always gotten a meal at the kitchens.

"Ooh, that was shiny.." she whined "You.. hate gold?" she never knew much people who hated or at least was uncomfortable with gold and shiny objects. She took the cuckoo clock which bird was still popping in and out silently.

"Horolos." a simple modern hand watch appeared in front of her.

Hehe, well not that simple indeed...

Selena smiled. "I don't really like gold. Too flashy and... well... seemingly tacky," she admitted. Then she saw the watch. "Ooooh, Shiny!" she exclaimed... hehe. shiny~

"Flashy.Tacky.Flashy.Tacky. Kind of rhymes right?" she took a sip from her goblet.
"Reverto" and the watch turned back into the goblet.
"Sooo, what do you want to be when your older?" Alright, this was a childish question but everyone had dreams right? And besides she was running our of things to say, might as well start a new conversation.

Selena giggled. It kinda did, didn't it. Awhh... the shiny watch became a goblet again. "Well... after going to the job fair... I'm considering being a writer at the Daily Prophet... and I also wanna be a designer of some sort..." Selena said and blushed as she said the last part. Oh well... "And of course being an auror sounds amazing as well," Selena added. There were so many choices!! "But of course, there's still a long time before I need to decide...." Selena said. Yeah... like... seven years! "What about you?"

"Auror of course! But working in the Department of Mysteries as an unspeakable sounds cool too.." Dianna took a last bite from her food and drank from her goblet.
"So, where are we supposed to go today?" she had forgotten from all the talking.

Savannah sighed. "I'm tired." she replied. "I got detention and I an tired."

"Oh I see.. What for?" she asked.

Diggy wasn't in the best of moods. History of Magic had started off so nice and it turned...well he didn't want to think about it anymore. He glared over at the Hufflepuff table not liking any of them at the moment.

He slumped into a chair and stared at his plate. He wasn't sure he was hungry, but he knew he was. He hadn't eaten since yesterday, but he just didn't know if he had the energy to even chew right now. His eyes were red and puffy from crying and he didn't care who saw. He really wanted his mom or his twin. They would know what to do.

Selena smiled. "Unspeakable... dangerous," she pointed out. But still... it was cool. "We're supposed to head off to the wishing fountain... but... where's Saiyomi?" Selena asked worriedly. Ehh? Where was she? Her eyes scanned the great hall. What was with all the depressed people today? She thought to herself as she saw Diggy. "Be right back..." Selena sighed.

Selena walked over to Diggy. Dang. What was with the depressed looks on everyone's faces? "Hey Diggy, you alright?" Selena asked softly. This was not the time to be all hyper... but the chocolate she had for breakfast. She tried to forget about it. "Because you look really down..." she pointed out. Elementary observations... and his eyes were red. What was she doing? He probably wanted time alone... maybe some candy?

"I set off fireworks in the middle of Potion class." said Savannah. "And I have to explain that to everyone." she added glomply.

He was pushing a piece of toast around his plate not really intending to eat it. He looked up as Selena spoke to him. He shook his head at her question, "No I'm not alright." he answered honestly. His fight with Oliver had been their worst ever and Diggy didn't know if he ever wanted to speak to him let alone even look at him anymore, but he wanted to talk to him and he wanted to see him. He wasn't sure what he was feeling to be honest and he didn't have anyone to really talk to about it. "I just had a fight with my uncle." He sniffed. He wasn't going to cry in the Great Hall. He just wasn't.

Selena frowned. A male not eating... that was just wrong... anyone not eating was wrong! He really did look sad. What he needed was to talk about it and get a hug! And Selena liked to give out free hugs. Hehe. Selena hugged him tightly before pulling away. "Do you... want to talk about it?" Selena asked a bit hesitantly. Some people didn't like to talk about their problems... like her. Some people wanted to keep it bottled up inside. She reached into her bag and pulled out a handkerchief. She really needed to order a new supply. It seemed like she attracted depressed people. "Here," she said as she offered it to him.

He was glad for the hug and he in fact hugged her back. His mom had the best hugs and he really missed them. He nodded. Of course he wanted to talk about it. That's how you worked out your problems right? His mom always told him not to be scared of his emotions and to talk about them. "Me and Oliver had a really big fight during that battle for Professor Lainey." He said wiping at his eyes with the handkerchief Selena handed him. "That big Hufflepuff girl prefect just plowed into me and I think she cracked a rib or something and then she jabbed at me with her stick and that really hurt." He still had the bruise on his chest to prove how hard she had jabbed him. "I shoved her away and swung my pan at her head and Oliver yelled at me." That's how it happened.

She frowned. It kinda was his fault... but she wouldn't say that. But she really hated lying. "Did she go to the hospital wing? Perhaps you should go visit and apologize," Selena suggested. Apologizing always worked in her book. Just bring a box of fancy chocolates and flowers or something. "And are you alright?" Being jabbed with a stick really hurt. She had tried it before. Well... she was asleep at a party of some sort... so maybe she did deserve it that time. But back on topic. Selena sighed. "After you apologize to her, you should apologize to your uncle," Selena added.

Hermione took a bite of her sandwich, which tasted a lot better than she expected. She looked to her left and saw Alex a few seats down. "Hi Alex, how did morning lessons go?" she asked.
