Evan was about to risk another peek towards Marie as he waited for Violet to respond, right before he, once again, reminded himself that he wouldn't care what she did. She made her choice, a choice that broke many hearts, so he had to move on, and he should start with not caring her. He focused on Violet, who looked at the edge of crying. Ah... that thing about love he didn't like. It hurt much. But there was really no hope for them, she had been acting very wrongly since their first meeting. And fifteen boyfriends? He didn't think she dated a boy for long, and he didn't want to be a 'piece' in her 'collection'.

"Erm... you don't have to leave you know..." he trailed off. Considering Violet and Marie didn't get along well, and she being at the edge of crying, he didn't insist. He was going to add something, but hearing Denise and Marie's conversation, he was distracted again. Since when had Marie needed a friend to come for eating? Though, she was doing a wise job there, that Marilyn could and would hurt her if she found her alone.

He groaned to himself and rolled his eyes when Carter showed up. Really? Did he have to EVERYWHERE Marie was? And did Marie have to be EVERYWHERE Evan was?! Now, all of his good mood was gone. He turned his head towards them now, clearly watching them. His mouth dropped open. Carter was KISSING Marie! And there was more to see--she kissed him BACK! Although it was on the cheek, it was still a kiss! His face turned pretty quickly from shock to disgust. He'd completely forgotten about Violet. Look at the romance at a SCHOOL table! He really wondered if they'd gone any further. Judging by the speed they had--they'd upgraded to kiss on cheek from blushing in like 3 months, it wasn't too ahead if they hadn't done it already. He had suddenly lost his appetite too. He really didn't remember being so disgusted before. Well done, Marie. She'd managed to upset him again AND again. He stared at his half-eaten pudding, and at Violet, whom he'd finally remembered once more. What was the point of having to endure their PDA? None. He'd only upset himself more, and risk a nasty comment, which would be followed by their response, and so on, and so forth. This was it. He was done here.

Getting up really angrily, he made a small gesture to Violet to wait for him. Retaliation. Not that Marie would care, she had her Carter all the time! with her again!, and being a 14-year-old, he should have got over this kind of attitude, but he couldn't help himself. Although the other side was shorter, he walked from their back to Violet. He stopped right beside them. He had a couple of things to say.

With a really annoyed and disgusted expression, he adressed to both of them. "FINE! I get it, you LOVE each other. But seriously, do you have show it ALL the time, around ME?! Do you hate me that much or what?!" He hadn't inteded his voice to be that loud, but it got higher and higher as he let it out. Only then did he realise he was angrier over this new thing than he'd expected. He took a deep breath to calm down. It didn't work. "I don't think I have to endure your... love-- Yes, there was sarcasm there, "--EVERYWHERE I go in this school." With that said, he glared at them one last time and with a "hmpf", turned to follow Violet to outside. He knew Carter was a total jerk, but Marie?! He'd expected her to be a bit sensitive... guess he was wrong there too.

What in the name of Merlin was Evan's problem!?

Marie was sitting there with Carter minding her own business not bothering anyone when Evan came over and once again started yellling at her. Could she ever have a day go by that he didn't find some reason to yell at her or make rude comments to her? She looked up at him as if she was shooting daggers from her eyes. "Carter is my boyfriend and I'm NOT going to pretend he's not just because you may be around." Seriously, she was not going to hide her feelings for him just because others did not like them being together. Everyone was just going to have to get use to them whether they liked it or not. "I have NEVER said I hated you but right now I really do NOT like you. You say you are tired of seeing me and Carter together... well I am tired of getting yelled at by you. If you don't like what you are seeing then I suggest you don't look at me." she said as she turned away from him and grabbed Carter's hand. Maybe if she just ignored Evan now he would go away.

Woah, woah, woah why was Evan randomly going over and yelling at Marie? Even though Violet wasn't best friends with Marie she didn't think she deserved to be yelled at like that. So she decided to do something she never did...stick up for Marie, whether she would appreciate it or not, Violet didn't know.

"Evan, chill! You know you should really have some respect for them! Do you think other people loved you and Marie going out? Because I didn't but did I constantly try and break you up?" Wait a sec.... "You know what don't answer that! But I was different last term then I am now, so just let them date in peace!" she yelled. Then she quickly calmed down a little bit. "Sorry." she mumbled.

Justin jumped as he heard Marie yell at a boy. That made him jump more than anything else. Carter was there too and a girl who seemed to be attached to Marie by something. "Ok whoa! Marie calm down. And whoever you are if you've got a problem with them just don't look at them. I don't even know them that well and I can tell they are made for each toehr so just grow up and leave them alone" he said to the boy. Carter and Marie seemed to talk highly of each other a lot which told him they really liked each other.

Violet GLARED at Justin. "You stay out of this!" she said, folding her arms. "You know nothing about relationships, since you cheat on girls and don't think its wrong!"

Justin's head turned to Violet. He narrowed his eyes. "Shut it. Says the girl that started a feud in the first place between Marie and the other guy. Carter and Marie do make a good couple, your just so caught up in hatred for Marie to notice that. What do you hate Carter too?" he said harshly. How dare she get involved in his conversation like that. Justin believed in friends. "And FYI, I do think its wrong to cheat. And technically I didn't. We were only dating for less than a day" he added.

"Actually, if you ever actually listen to what I say, I've said a million times that I think Marie and Carter make a good couple. And I don't hate anybody except you!" she said. "That makes it even worse! It just proves your unfaithful the very first day we went out and broke up the next!"

Justin narrowed his eyes again. He really wasn't in the mood for this. "Grow up Violet. So you're saying that you don't hate Marie then. Let's ask Marie shall we" he replied. He knew that Marie would say she hated Violet for what she'd done. And if Violet even dared slate Carter he would be mad. "No it proves that you shouldn't go in detention and proves that I clearly don't like you" he replied.

"You seriousy think I need to grow up? You do!" she said rolling her eyes. "That was finishing detention from last term! Last term I was a brat but I'm not anymore! And well I never liked you. Never, never, never!" she said stomping the floor.

Justin just ignored Violet after that and tried his best to blank her tantrum out. "So. What exactly has that guy against you and Carter?" he asked Marie. Then he looked at the girl who was magically tied to Marie. "I don't think I caught your name" he said to the Slytherin girl.

"Don't ignore me, Justin! And that guy is Evan! He has a name you know!" she said rolling her eyes. "Just stay out of this!"

Justin looked back to Violet. "Will you shut up. I know he has a name but I don't know his name and Marie and Carter are my friends and friends stick with each other" he replied. "So no, I won't stay out of it" he quicly added.

"Yeah, well they're all my friends! Even if I'm not all of theirs." she said tilting her head to the side in a you-really-want-to-mess-with-me way. "Plus, you hardly know what this is about!"

Justin cocked his eyebrow. "I doubt that very highly" he replied. "And do you really wanna test me on that. Evan can't take the fact that Marie has moved on and in love with Carter and you're only interested because you're trying to buy your way into Marie's life again. And you like Evan too" he replied. Violet wanted a battle a battle she was going to get.

Evan had to blink for a few seconds to process what Marie had just said. She'd just twisted his words! He didn't say they weren't a couple--on the contrary, he was absolutely convinced now that they were a serious one who 'loved' each other so much that they constantly kissed. He only requested to be shown some repect and sesitivity. But noooo, apparently even that was too much to request from her. He shook his head in disbelief. He really couldn't believe the transformation she'd had over 6 months. She'd literally flipped 180 degrees. He wanted his caring Marie back, but he figured Marie was dead. There was no point in talking to this new Marie anymore, because she was insensitive and maybe a bit selfish.

He opened his mouth to reply, but was cut off by first Violet, then Justin guy. What the--? He understood perfectly why Violet had to speak up--and he'd expected her to stick with him--but Justin?! Really?! What did he know about Marie and him? He hated those kind of people who blatantly got their nose into everything for the 'sake of their friends'. He relieved when Violet decided to deal with him, she did him a great favour there. Not that he'd stay and argue with that rude one. He now fully understood why Olivia didn't like him fully, the guy wasn't even worth looking at. He looked to be Marie's friend... no wonder she'd flipped 180 degrees with these kind of friends.

Ignoring and muting them completely, he looked at Marie and muttered "Then I suggest you don't do things that can be yelled at." quite audible for her, and turned once again, now leaving for sure. He couldn't waste his time for them, he was better than that. And he'd get Marie out of his life now, completely. Ignore her. Avoid her. Act as if she never existed. And start to look at other people, especially at girls. Because she obviously had already removed him from her life.

Violet once again glared at Justin. "See what you did! Your making Evan leave when he was here first, then you had to come along and annoy him!" she said.

She walked over to Evan. "Evan, you shouldn't have to leave. Please stay." she said pouting. She was still sad that Evan said they would never happen, but she was also mad that Justin came over so she ended up just being frusterated and confused. Hmmf.

Dianna was kind of taken aback when Sarah said that she thought her parents were dead. Well she couldn't help that her parents had the same name as her great great great (ho many greats?) grandparents.
"Well I did have ancestors with the same name as my parents." she slowly replied.
"Elizabeth Black huh? Haven't really heard off your mum but maybe I'll ask my mum if she knows both of your parents."

Dianna nodded at Selena "Horolos." and Selena's goblet turned into a watch.

Selena gave a pout. "Hey, I was drinking that," she pointed out as she took her wand. "Reverto," Selena said. By now she had remembered how to think of things before she said the spell. Compare and then the spell. The watch turned back into a goblet. "Hah!" she said as she stuck her tongue out at Dianna. "Now... it's my turn~" Selena said in a sing song voice as she focused on her plate. A clock... with pictures of breakfast on it... Selena concentrated and made sure the picture was painted in her mind. "Horolos!" Selena said. Pretty clock... but Selena wanted to eat it...

Justin rolled his eyes at Evan and Violet. "Violet just shut up. I havn't even spoke to him" he replied. Violet was being pretty pathetic to be honest and he'd had enough of it.

"You shut up! Ever since you came to this school you've been doing nothing but ruin my life! And even if you didn't talk to Evan you still probably annoyed him some how." she said glaring at Justin.

Justin narrowed his eyes and was now a little confused. "That doesn't even make sense. How can I ruin your life when I'm not even in it?" he asked. Where did she get this rubbish from?

"Because you always come and annoy me, everywhere I go your there! And unfortunately you are in my life because were enemies, we hate eachother, we probably wouldn't be sad if one of us died!" Okay, so maybe that was harsh but she didn't really care.

Justin narrowed his eyes. "And you just declared war. Prepare yourself for a bumpy ride at Hogwarts Violet Riddle cos you're going down like the flithy scum you are" he replied harshly. She desserved that for suggesting he died.

"If you mean war as in fight then I can't..." Because I would get expelled duh. "Because I just can't." she blushed a little and turned around and walked out of the great hall. She really didn't want to continue this conversation.

Justin rolled his eyes. "By war I mean if you want me dead then you're gonna have to physically do it you idiot" he replied. He watched as Violet walked out. "What kind of Slytherin walks away from a fight?" he asked trying not to laugh at the blonde third year.
