Brayden quietly made her way through the corridor towards the owlery. Hoping nobody would see her. She clutched the letter she had just written tightly in her hand.
Lexi tromped down the corridor rather quickly... quickly for her as of late, anyway. She was in a bit of a hurry to get away from the common room and away from stupid people and stupid stuff. Ugh. She despised, for the first time in her life, being a Gryffindor. Yeah it was that serious. Sigh.
Why was Dylan up here? He didn't do Divination. He didn't do anything. Well up here anyway. He frowned as someone hurried past him. That was odd. He turned to see who it was. "Lex?" It looked like her from behind. What was up with her?

Lexi skidded to a stop when she heard her brother call her name. What was he doing up here. She spun on her heel and faced him. "Hey Dylan. What's up?" she said and gave him a tight smile. She was in a bit of a huff for sure but she was happy to see him nonetheless.

It was Lexi. Well that wasn't good. "Hey Lexi. Whats up? Umm my heart rate. These stairs are a hike. How do you do it every day?" He smiled at her. "What's the matter with you Sis? You don't seem in the best of moods."

Lexi chuckled flatly and shook her head. "I do it everyday because I am obviously in better shape than you are, bro. And you are very correct... I am in a foul mood... I am most days. I wish I could change houses sometimes," she said in a flat voice. She shuffled her feet and nervously scratched her cheek. "Umm... the thing is... Sabel and I got into a big fight in the common room recently and it is just bothering me. I hate even going in there now. He is so full of himself and thinks I am selfish or something, I dunno," she said in a quick, quiet voice.

"I am in good shape. I lift weights and everything. Obviously these things are too much," Dylan smiled. He frowned. "I will talk to him. Gonna punch him or something. Maybe not punch him. But have strong words. Where is he?" He was not having a stuck up little boy talk to his sister like that.

"Just because you lift weights does not mean you can handle the cardio workout of getting to the Gryffindor Tower, bro," she said with a chuckle. Her first year it had nearly killed her. But she could now run all the way up without so much as a stitch in her side... that was IMPRESSIVE. Her calf muscles were SICK now. Teehee.
"Dylan please don't get into a fight with him. THe last thing I need is for my only friend to get expelled for fighting," she said in a pleading voice. "He is just angry with himself because he couldn't play hero last term and save me from all harm. He has a serious HERO COMPLEX," Lexi explained and made a gesture as if to indicate he had the BIG HEAD about it all.

Dylan chuckled, "Cardio. I don't need that. Just as long as I can support my own weight, I am fine." He didn't have bulging muscles or anything. But he did have definition. A body that Gold loved. Even his scar from last year.
He shook his head, "I won't get expelled. One punch. Knock him out. There will be no fighting. No witnesses. I'll say that he got hit by a falling rock or something. Or tripped and knocked himself out." He would think of a way. "I hate those kind of people. Giant head. Maybe he needs it popping."

Lexi rolled her eyes at her brother and chuckled slightly. "Everyone needs cardio you numpty. I swear... you are ridiculous sometimes," she said in an exasperated tone. Then she playfully punched her brother on the arm.
"DYLAN! You would seriously fight like a muggle? Stop saying things like that. I don't want you fighting anyone especially not Sabel, okay," she said warningly. Then she eyed him suspiciously... "What are you doing up here anyway?"

Dylan chuckled, and rubbed his arm. "And you need to learn how to punch. Maybe I could get you punching the punch bag at home. Learn how to hit properly. Then you can clock Sabel next time he is mean to you."
"I'd rather fight like a muggle, than draw my wand on another human being. Not after last term." Nope never again would he draw his wand on someone. Never.
He shrugged, "No idea at all. I was walking. And found myself here. What are you doing up here?"

LExi rolled her eyes once more. "I can punch just fine actually. I didn't punch you hard because I didn't want to make you cry," she said laughingly. "And ladies don't punch, Dylan."
Lexi just kept her mouth shut at his next comment. She knew how he felt about duelling and whatever else since last term. She, however, felt differently about things now. She had come to realize that learning how to control her anger and pain and be a decent witch was very important to her future career.
"Well, Dylan, I live up here in the tower, that is why I am here. Are you up here looking for Gold or something?"

Dylan chuckled, "You couldn't make me cry." That wasn't an invitation though. He didn't want her to try. He'd seen her eat. She was no lady.
He shook his head, "No. If I wanted to look for her I would not hang around outside your common room. I was just on a walk I guess." He had given up looking for Gold anyway. She would find him if she wanted to see him. He wasn't exactly hard to find.

Lexi smiled crookedly at her brother... She was pretty certain she COULD beat him up and make him cry, but she wasn't going to unless he REALLY made her mad which she doubted.
Lexi quirked an eyebrow at him and looked skeptical but decided it best not to push the subject further. "Yeah I reckon so," she said laughing... still not convinced. "What you wanna do?" she asked.
By now, Becca was on the verge of death. She couldn't imagine how Ellie was feeling - but she was pretty hardcore for a first year. "We're almost there, guys! Hold on, JD. Don't die on us yet." She gently adjusted his weight on her shoulder and held onto his leg. And then, as if there was a hallway full of people, she yelled down the corridor, "LOOK OUT, RAVENCLAW DOMINATORS COMING THROUGH!"
So what if they only got third place? They were still the coolest team. And they sure knew how to have the most fun.
Ellie readjusted her grip on JD's leg. Just a bit further. She could make it that far. Good thing the bludgers hadn't been too rough today, or her arm would be sore and there would definitely be a broken JD at the bottom of the Grand Staircase... But she still smiled from ear to ear as they approached their common room. This was an awesome day so far, and nothing could change that.

Going bugeyed, when Becca says don't die on them, he wonders what on earth was going on! Maybe he should get down, he might be small but having been carried up 7 flights of stairs to the tower he had to be getting heavy.
Looking down the stairs behind him, he feels dizzy. He didn't want to fall!
Turning his attention ahead, he grips that snitch like there's no tomorrow. The corridor was full of people!
JAcob was still brandishing his beaters bat wildly at everyone they past. Jacob then ran in front of Becca, Ellie, and JD. And he started swinging his bat at the people in the corridor.
"Alright, Out Of The Way. Star Seeker, Coming Through!" he yelled, then added "No Touching! Autographs are 1 sickle each"
It couldn't get any better than this, it really couldn't. They might have only got third overall - but the Ravvies knew how to celebrate. And Nia was loving it.
And then Jacob started advertising autographs. Nia chuckled. "Ahem. Captain says your selling the awesomeness of our seeker wayyyyy too cheap. He needs that hand for catching lots more snitches. So I say, 5 sickles a shot!" And with that she skipped some more.
"Awesome team coming through...mind out all!" And she cheered some more. Wooo, Claws.
Jacob looked around at the captain. five sickles each? Alrighty. "PRICE IS NOW FIVE SICKLES AN AUTOGRAPH!" Jacob yelled, nodding. Yup Jacob needs that money! so they should have taken advantage of the 2 seconds of cheap pricing.
Lexi simply rolled her eyes at the idiot Ravenclaws as they shouted and were all around OBNOXIOUS as they went past. Ugh. She really needed to see about setting up jinxes against annoying people in the corridor out here it seemed. Before her temper got the best of her and since those idiots were being rather rude she spun on her heel and said over her shoulder, "Come on Dylan. If you would like I think I am going down to the litchen... maybe the house elves are better conversationalists than this lot." Without waiting for an answer she took off toward the staircase and disappeared out of sight.

Dylan shrugged. "We could..." But he was cut of short, by the stampede of Ravenclaws. They came third. Big whoop. What an arrogant bunch of arses.
He nodded to Lexi, "Kitchen sounds great."Anywhere away from these jerks.

"PRISSY ! C'mon...."Savannah said ,running her fingers through her blonde hair. She hated this cat at times. It insisted it never walked anywhere, it had to be carried at all times. Ugh, this cat thought it was royalty which it wasn't even if she was kind of related to the Conrads who were royalty by Sav's definition.
The cat just stared at her and meowed, wanting to be crazy. Savvy could tell what was going through Priscilla's mind right now. PICK ME UP, I'm lazy and fat. Prissy was heavy though, and Savannah really didn't want to carry her back down to the dungeons.
"No, cat. I'm not picking you up. You need to lose weight, father says you are obese and need exercise, walking is a good form of exercising..."
Oh sweet merlin, she was rambling.TO A FREAKING CAT.
Savannah Conrad was now convinced she needed serious mental help.....now.

Aiden could recognize that voice all the way down from the other end of the corridor. It belonged to Miss Savannah Conrad, and - from what he heard - she was scolding Priscilla. Good! That cat needed to be put in its place. It was not human, as it so desperately wanted to be. "Feline troubles?" Aiedn asked, as he neared Savannah and the furball. He still couldn't understand why Sav kept the darn thing; wasn't it too much of a hassle for her anyway?

Savannah looked away from the cat to a male figure now standing before her, it was Aiden. He looked slightly amused. Nehh...it wasn't that funny. Prissy was just spoiled, she always had been.
"Of course."Savvy said with a roll of of her blue eyes. This cat annoyed her, as well as plenty of other people, Aiden included. "She wants to be picked up and I clearly told her I am tired. It's not all about her sometimes."She growled, shaking her head. Flustered ? Slightly.
The cat still didn't change it's ways, it was still meowing now LOUDER than before. Did it ever end ? Savvy didn't think so.
