"Shhhh!" Eli cautioned her, pulling the girl aside so they could be out of earshot of the others. He whispered to the glasses-clad girl. "We could get in trouble for nicking stuff from the kitchens, technically. But it's important we make the attempt." He spoke at levels so the rest of the students in the hall could hear, but kept his voice low so it would seem like he was trying to speak only to Ari. "There's something you should know... This isn't just some cupcake caper. I'm something of a secret agent, you see."

He kept his voice just loud enough for the other students to overhear. "I probably shouldn't be telling you this until you've proven yourselves... But I'm part of a crack team of agents that have been sent in to investigate all the mysterious goings on at this school. Killings and the like, in recent years, you know. I've been de-aged so that I can blend in, undercover-like." He glanced around shiftily... No professors. Good. "We're part of a secret department of aurors called the Dark Arts Defenstration Alliance: DADA for short. There are several of us, here, at the school. And we're looking for real-life students to help us to get rid of the enemy and save the school. We have agents in every house, recruiting the best and the brightest for our covert operations." He looked at the students soberly. "It's not cupcakes we're after. It's much more dangerous than that."

Ari listened, ignoring the fact that he just moved her, awestruck. Was this. Kid. Loony? No... No-he's just very...erm... intense. Yeah. That was it.

"Well, Mister Jarod," she said slowly, backing up a pace or two to find the exposed brick again. Once she did, she knew precisely where she was and took a sigh of relief. "In that case, if you haven't caught it already, I'm blind." Ari lifted her glasses for a moment, showing him the two milky marbles that were her eyes, before resting the glasses back on her nose. "Which is why I found it so funny when you asked me to be a lookout," she explained, "And, even though I am blind, I'm not entirely useless... Just so you know. But this," she gave a vague wave with her left hand, "This isn't my area of expertise..."

Whuuuut?!

Oh wow, how did he miss that? BLIND! Of course! Eli felt totally utterly stupid! Better to cover the faux pas. "Erhm, of course I'd caught that. Physical vision is nothing to us at the Dark Arts Defenestration Alliance, nothing at all. It is your mind that we need. Your mind. Your clever, clever, mind." The purple haired pipsqueak harrumphed importantly.

"Have you any special talents? Often people with a- " disability? Was that ok to say? Eli didn't know. "Sense that isn't working just right have extra gifts." So his mother said, anyway. It made him sound knowledgeable anyway.

Ari smiled slightly. The politeness was there, so there was no harm done. "Well...I know the school pretty darn well," she wiggled the fingers of her left hand, "It's all right here. Everything--well...almost everything. That what you're looking for?" It wasn't every day that people thought Ari was fine even though she couldn't.....yeah. So she didn't exactly know what to feel.

How about...glad? That would be okay. Ari smiled towards him again, "My sense of hearing is, therefore, well...better than normal, as well," she prompted.

Eli grinned. "That's exactly perfect. Brilliant, even. You've got a special, unique knowledge of the castle's secrets that will be really helpful. To the mission, I mean." Yeah, don't forget to mention the 'mission'. "I bet you know all kinds of amazing things. Secret things. C'mon, we'd all better get moving toward the kitchens." Cupcakes were, after all, still the main objective... for now.

He headed to the others.
“You all can come down to the sixth floor, its pretty much safe,” he said to the crew. “Just know that there is a prefect down there, but I think they are skating, so it should be fine.”
"Did I ever introduce myself?" Evan thought.
“My name is Evan, by the way, I’m part of your cupcake crew” he said casually with a smile.

Keeley had been spacing out as everyone had filed all sneaky-like into the corridor, and jumped as she saw them all there. Woah! When had that happened? Eh, whatever. She decided not to let on that she hadn't been listening, or seeing really, and dropped to the ground, rolling in a very sneaky, secret agenty way. Ugh, hopefully she hadn't missed anything important. "Onward, let the mission begin!" she stage whispered, and rolled her way to the stairs. And crawled like a cat down them. Oh yeah, she was super smooth. Super cool indeed.

"Pleasure." Eli said, smiling back. "Good work, Evan. Let's keep moving!" he was tempted to grab Ari's hand to help her down the corridor but thought maybe that would offend her.

Wow, Keeley had moves! Her secret agent role was AWESOME. "Yes! Let's go!" he tried to do an equally cool secret-agent drop-and-roll (it ended up just looking like he did a malformed somersault, but Eli was sure it looked supercool). He jumped back up to his feet and drew his wand, just in case, then followed Keeley down the stairs.

"Well alright." he chuckled. "If you say so." he added with a shrug. Jay couldn't help but laugh. "Slytherins are awesome." he agreed with a nod of his head. "Are you saying that i was sorted into a terrible house?" he asked with an eyebrow raised. "You're the hottest Slytherin?" he asked, with a smirk on his face. "I think all Slytherins are pretty hot." he grinned. Savvy was funny.

"A nerd name? One of my best friends is named Rob..." And Rob was a pretty cool guy.

Jayce sprinted up the last of the stairs and ran down the hall, not seeing Eiri behind him, he quickly hid behind a pillar. This was going to be fun. When his partner in crime showed up, he'd jump out and attempt to scare her.

Eirian kept running, having no idea where Jay was. Had he somehow gotten lost? Had she passed him? Had he found this... this "Room of Requirement? She didn't know, and she really didn't care at this point. She wanted to finish this marathon and sit her Brazilian butt down. Coming to a stop in the middle of the corridor, she looked to her right. A pillar? That was randomly placed. As was the shoe peaking our from behind it.

Jay stayed as quiet as he could. As he heard footsteps, he tensed up, ready to jump out. As the footsteps grew louder he jumped out from his so called hiding place. "RAWR!" he screamed and held up his hands, fingers curved to look like claws.

Eirian stood stalk still as Jayce jumped out and attempted to scare her. After his, "RAWR!" and air-clawing, she raised a thin eyebrow and made sure he was finished. When nothing more came, she walked up to him. "You finished yet?"

He stared at Eirian's face. Nope. Not even a little scared. He frowned and nodded. "I guess so." he sighed. "You weren't scared? Not even a little bit?" he asked curiously. Jay shook his head. "Alright. So... How does this work?" he asked, curious as to how they were going to find this so called room of requirement.

"Not even in the slightest," Eirian replied. "Come on." She looped her arm in Jayce's, pulling him along the corridor. "Work on it in the bathroom mirror. I'm sure you can learn to scare someone. Though, it was your leg in plain sight that ruined it this time."

He frowned again and just like a child, he pouted. "Fine." he said, as she pulled him along the corridor. "Aw, seriously? Damn you leg!" he chuckled. "I'll have to be more careful next time i try to scare someone." he added. "Where are we going?" Jay asked curiously as his eyebrow arched.

"Yeah," Eirian replied, chuckling to herself. "You kinda suck." She unlooped her arm from his own, trusting him to walk on his own. Oh, Jayce... "We're going to the Room of Requirement."

Jay continued to keep his frown plastered to his face. "Gee. Thanks. I thought my partner in crime was supposed to compliment me on things no matter what. But then again, i guess i'm not the boss." he shrugged. "Alright."

Today was a good day to draw the grounds. That is why Fallon was now walking down the Seventh Floor Corridor looking for the perfect view. She kept checking window after window, but none seemed perfect. She finally found one that was right in the middle of the hallway. She climbed up onto the ledge and looked out over it. She grabbed all of her drawing supplies out of her bag. And before she knew it, Fallon was already making marks on the blank piece of paper in front of her.

Trixie was in a random mood. And by random, that meant she was basically wondering around the castle for no apparent reason. But she had made her way up from the common room and so eventually ended up on the seventh floor. And there were some strange looking pieces of architecture in here. How come she hadn't seen this before? Huh weird! But at least she hadn't actually walked into anything. Just yet anyway. But she wouldn't want to jinx it. Any minute now and she would probably end up splat on the floor. Well at least certain people weren't around to see her do it.

But as the Blonde Slytherin was thinking of the consequences and likelihood of her tripping over something, the girl ended walking into something. Or was it someone?

Oops. She appeared to have walked immediately into a fellow Slytherin. Perhaps a year or two younger then she was herself. "Oh I'm sorry" she said slightly embarrassed. "My mind was elsewhere" she blushed but ended with a soft smile.

Fallon silently cursed to herself as someone bumped into her causing her drop her sketchbook and pencil on the floor. She was lucky that she hadn't fallen off of the ledge. That might not have been that fun.

She turned to see who had bumped into her and saw a girl that she had seen around the common room. "It's all right. No harm done." Fallon jumped down from the ledge and picked up her drawing stuff. She was glad that she'd worn her sneakers today. Heels and window ledges don't really mix.

Trixie blushed once again as all her stuff went over the floor. the Slytherin bent down and helped to pick up her stuff for although she may be from the "evil" house or whatever, she wasn't exactly the nasty type of person. Unless she was angry. Then she could be slightly mean. Passing over the stuff she had collected, Trixie managed a smile. "Here you go" she sighed before leaning herself against the wall.

"I'm Trixie. Trixie Malfoy. 5th year" she smiled and held out her hand for a handshake. She looked down at the girls trainers and then at her own heels. Yeah. Trixie didn't know the meaning of sensible footwear. She lived in these things. Unless she was climbing a tree with Oliver. Then heels really weren't a good idea at all.

Fallon smiled as the girl helped her pick her things up. "Thanks," she said as she took the things from her.

Fallon smiled and shook Trixie's hand. "I'm Fallon McCarthy. 4th year." So the girl was only a year older than her. She could've sworn this girl seemed a little older then that.

Fallon watched as Trixie looked at her sneakers. "They're not my favorite, but they're comfortable. My favorite pair of shoes happen to be some sparkly heels in the same color."

Trixie smiled and looked around the corridor for a moment. "No problem" she shrugged it off. "I'm sorry again. I've been a bit of a clutz ever since..... never mind" she said. That story would be too long to tell. And it could get a bit repetitive after a while anyway. It just ended with her loosing her memory and that could get her down after a while.

Trixie nodded. So her assumptions had been correct then. She was only a year younger then she was herself. And judging by the robes, in exactly the same house. "It's very nice to meet you Fallon" she grinned her charming smile. "And a fellow Slytherin eh?" she winked. ANd they were so going to win the cup this year. Just don't let Trixie be as vicious as she was last time on the pitch.

Trixie looked down at the trainers and listened to what she had to say. "Yeah I love my heels. Don't think I could live without them" she grinned. She felt as comfortable in heels then she did in any other shoe.

"It's all right. I have a habit of running into people too." Fallon thought that Trixie was going to say something else, but apparantly not. She just shook it off and figured it might be too personal to explain.

"It's nice to meet you too." Fallon was finally starting to branch out and make more friends. It only took her moving to Florida and back again to do that. Fallon looked down at her robes. "Yep. Slytherin is by far the best house and I'm glad to be in it." She grinned at Trixie. They were so going to win the House and Quidditch cups this year. Yep.

Fallon listened to Trixie talk. "I actually just started to fall in love with heels recently. The only reason I'm not wearing a pair now is because I was going to wander and I didn't know where I was going to end up." Now she wanted to wear her purple heels. But they were all the way in the dorms and she wasn't going to walk there just to get them.
