"Ohhh," She understood now. Taking another bite of the cupcake, Lucy grinned at him. "I wanna try your own recipe now!" Maye he could also show her how to bake.

"You are sooo not better than me!" And for that, he got a big 'ol poke in the tummy.

"Come on Destiny!" Marie shouted as she tugged her shadow along behind her. "I'm not going to be late because of you!" There was no way she was going to make Carter wait on her just bacause someone didn't know how to keep up. Looking behind her she gave the rope another tug and watched as Destiny stumbled forward.

GAH!

Why couldn't that girl just walk instead of having to be dragged!?

Where was Lawson? She wanted to stomp on his foot again.

Roll. Hop. Roll. Hop Hop. Roll again. Hop once more. Klaudette had thought of this game all by herself. She had picked up a stone while in the owlery that had sparkled in the sunlight. She thought it was quant and cool to keep. As she had been walking down the long flight of stairs she had first passed it from hand to hand and every so often throw it up in the air and catch. But on one of the throws she dropped it, and had so formed the hopping game.

She rolled it once again and landed two stairs below her and so she hopped on one foot down the two steps. She giggled and rolled again.

James wandered around the seventh floor, reaching a stopping point at a bench nearby and contemplating on how he had gotten there in the first place. He tended to walk and think, not really registering where he was going or who was near him. Shrugging slightly to himself, he checked his watch. It wasn't terribly late, so he decided to keep on walking around; he liked the exercise.
As he turned a corner in the corrider, a rock rolled in his way. Without realizing it, James stepped on the rolling rock and slipped backwards, crashing to the floor while swearing quite loudly. He stood up, rubbing his back and saw a first year Slytherin girl nearby. He groaned slightly.
"Is this rock your's?" he asked, holding it up.

Klaudette had rolled the rock kind of far and out of site this time. She giggled at her burst of strength and decided to hop on one foot down until she saw the rock with a finger on her nose. She was rounding a corner when she heard a thud and some bad language. She looked to see a older boy on the floor. Still with her finger on her nose and on one foot, she hopped over too him.

She took the rock from his hand and put her foot down. "Yes, thank you. I thought I had lost it in the abyss." she responded and tilted her head. "How ddid you get on the floor?" she asked innocently and started to toss her rock in the air.

While still rubbing his back, James stood there, a little dumbstruck, by the girls nonchalant and slightly oblivious attitude. As she took the rock from him, he slightly shook his head and cleared his throat, his back searing with pain.
"I slipped on your rock," he said, wincing slightly. "It kinda...hurt." He rubbed it some more and sat down in a nearby chair.
"What exactly are you doing?" he looked at her. She was such a peculiar sight, standing on one foot and touching her nose. James didn't remember being that eccentric when he was a first year, but at the same time kinda wished he was that free with himself. He chuckled slightly, but winced again a a jolt of pain ran up his back. He wasn't in the best shape in the world, but he was moderately fit, and he didn't understand why tripping on a rock would hurt so badly.

Klaudette heard his response and shook her head. "Oh deary me. I thought this was going to be a good rock, I may have judged him way to early." she stated, "I'm sorry. My mom always kissed my bumps and bruises to make them feel better. Do you want me to kiss your bum to help?" she asked wrinkling her nose.

She looked at her rock and then smiled at him as he took a seat. "I was playing a game!" she said excitedly. "I found this rock in the owlery and i threw it down some steps and the ones in between me and the rock, I had to hop on one foot to get passed. It is terrible fun," she explained with enthusiasm.

She tossed the rock at him, "Try it,"

James suppressed a laugh at her offer.
"No, er.." he said. "I'm fine, thank you." It would have been an awkward place to kiss, anyways, he thought. The teen nodded his head as the girl explained her little game.
"Er..." he said, hesitating on whether or not to join her. "Sure." He took the rock. But as he held it, his back seared with pain again.
"Ouch. Uh...maybe you can go one more time," he said, rubbing his back. "My back's killing me."

Klaudette shrugged her shoulders. "ok, the offer still stands if you need it," she commented. She would have took the offer. She did not like being in pain and she was sure no one did, so who wouldn't take an offer to feel better. Oh well. Some people were just strange.

She smiled as he caught the rock and was going to try her game. Maybe she would soon get a fad going with it and it will become a big hit just like...a...a...mullet. She waited for him to get up and he tried making a move but failed. Epically.

Hearing him complain she shook her head. "What are you? An old man?" she stated and walked toward him. She took the rock from his hand and set it next to him. "Now get on the floor, stomach down." she requested and urged him. "This will help."

The fifth year frowned at Klaudette.
"I'm not an old man," he said, giving up on rubbing his back and feeling hurt by the girl's comment. "It really hurt."
He looked at the girl, who was so full of energy. He shrugged off the pain and stood up once more. He reached forward for the rock.
"So I just throw it down the stair and hop down till I reach the step it landed on?" he asked, kinda getting confused by the girl's instructions. But then the girl asked him to lay on his stomach.
"Wait, why?" he asked, scared of what this girl will do to him if he lays on the floor.

Baha. Ha. Ha. He was definitely an old man. He was like 15. That was old. Just like 11 was middle age. "If you say so," she commented and then added, "I told you I can fix the pain by one little kiss." Maybe she hadn't been very clear the first time. It happens.

She saw him pick up the rock and try to play the game. She nodded. He had it one. "Yes that's it." she stated waiting for him to roll the rock. "And if you want to get even more adventurous you rub your belly and pat your head at the same time as you hop on one foot down." she said enthusiastically.

But then he didn't throw it. Boo. "Lye on the floor and I will show you. I can't describe what I'm going to do." she responded nonchalantly.

Rex got an owl from Marie. It said he has to honor his bet from last term. Rex will honor the bet. He starts looking for Marie in the seventh floor corridor.

Tate escorted Miss Toussaint up the many floors toward her own common room, silent pretty much the entire way. He waited until they reached the seventh floor before addressing her question. "I can't agree to telling you not to attend Potions, nor give you my permission."

He paused. "But I can't stop you either."

"Will the other students be unprotected if I don't go?" Celandine was obviously troubled by that idea, but to her, attending the lesson would be condoning the professor's actions and everyone knew that she didn't agree with it. She wasn't points hungry enough to just show up anyway and go against her principles.

"But if I asked the healer for study help, would you be alright with that, sir?" Because if she could do that... then she herself could help anyone else who didn't want to go to Lafay's lessons.

"I have no issue with you pursuing education by whatever means you need," Tate hedged. He just was NOT going to let Lafay pin him down by telling Celandine anything that could be used against him later. "Why don't you trust that I can take care of the students, Miss Toussaint?"

Well. That was good enough.

"I do trust you sir." Celandine tipped her head to one side. "Maybe you should attend one of her lessons. You can even polyjuice yourself to be me if you like."

"Perhaps I will do that," Tate shrugged, stopping with the Head Girl outside her common room. "You heard what I said to Raiden? That I think the detention was deserved, but that I'm applauding you for services rendered to the school. To your peers. I think that's worth five points to Ravenclaw, don't you?"

Celandine blushed a bit.

"I don't know if I feel comfortable with that sir. I feel bad enough as it is." She chewed her lip and then tugged a strand of hair from her head and solemnly handed it to the headmaster. "Just in case sir."

He tucked the hair in his pocket. "I insist. Now, Miss Toussaint... I bid you good day. Go get your wand."

And he strolled off down the hall before the girl could argue.

STARE.

Cela watched the headmaster leave and after a long moment she went inside the common room and up to the dorm to search for her wand.

Vanessa walked out of the classroom with Bonnie and Patrick up to the Seventh Floor Corridor. She wiped the remaining tears off her face. She knew she probably looked like a disaster, with her make-up all smeared and her eyes red and puffy. For some reason, however, she didn't really mind at this point of time.

Patrick had walked silently along the sisters up to the seventh floor. Bonnie's common room was one way, Vanessa's was another. He held the girl's hand and couldn't help but notice how quiet and maybe peaceful it was at this time at night. He had a feeling that all of their sleeps tonight weren't going to be so pleasant.

Vanessa looked down as Patrick still held her hand, she smiled to herself but remembered that he was with Ella now. It was no accomplishment for her, he was just being nice seeming as her mother died. She sighed and looked up at him. She had to choose her words carefully in front of Bonnie. ''Patrick...how have you and Ella been doing?'' She asked.

Fia walked to the seventh floor with posters in her hand. She was going to start on the highest floor first and work her way down, it was the only way she saw to get things done the right way. She pulled out her wand and stuck the following poster to the wall.



Her only worries, would they get enough students to actually have this sort of section. She pressed the poster to the wall and stood back for a moment to admire.

Albert was being a very bad cat, he tore her bed sheets! Abbi wouldn't blame him the lad has been in the dorms most of the time. Not like albert, he's an outdoors cat and she knew it! So with that she cuddled him in her arms and took him for a walk around the castle, well even more excuse for her to adventure this big place! Hmmm.. ohh Fifi!

"Fifi?" Abbi said once she walked up the older girl, "what are you posing?" she asked as she peaked up at the poster? "Ohh that rabbit is cute".
