Okay, so. Brody was probably still wondering something. "Majority rules, right? That means...round tables win?" as if this was a game! Pfffft. "But, yes, I agree, they're better for conversation, and easier to arrange throughout the whole Hall...plus, it allows a bit more creativity in said arrangement" like, if they wanted the tables to zig zag around the Hall or something like that.
Yes, round tables worked.
Now...back to the chairs, "Ummm, yes, dining chairs...perhaps the plushy part can be added with the cover?" because he remembered seeing one of those plushy covers between all the samples, and perhaps that was the way to go?
Then Alex said the thing about her just being a kid. Er, he was a kid too! Any idea was useful. Especially now that they'd fallen short...or not...did it truly apply here? The fallen short thing? When they'd gained someone else?
Moving on. "About the tablecloths...we're working with Seasons, right? So, perhaps having them switch from one color to the other while the Seasons switch is the best idea, no? But, I'd rather have just a splash of a characteristic color, not TOO much color..." they had to think of the indoor decorations as well, "...maybe have silver for winter, gold for summer, bronze for fall...and any other for spring" now he couldn't stop talking, and he hadn't given too much thought to this. Imagine if he did. "Now, centerpieces...I went to a cousins wedding in France, and the centerpieces were too tall, and big, so I had an awfully hard time trying to..." check out what was going on on the other tables, "...admiring the general splendor" yes, that was better, "So, I say, perhaps having something not too tall, so that people can see each other accross the table, and perhaps place some light on top of the centerpiece...as in a floating light...not too bright..." the boy blinked a couple times, "...or a bunch of fireflies, I don't know" some input now.

Alex couldn't think of anything reasonable and shiny they could put ontop of anything. "Well we could always use tinfoilly..or whatever they call that and use it to make idk turn it to look like our house symbols or snowflakes, leaves, sun or clouds, and flowers to put on centerpieces..I mean isn't TinFolly shiny?" She asked turning to look at the Professor and leader being pureblood she didn't know much about muggle items.

| Granddaddy Ravenclaw | | Jermione Granger Preston considered as he listened to the girl. "Well, there are plenty of things already here. We might not need to make anything out of tinfoil." He pondered. "Hmm. Maybe what's best at this point is to find one neutral option that can go with everything?"
Preston walked over to the boxes and rummaged through. A ha. That was exactly what he was looking for. Standing up straight, he shook out a rather pearlescent cloth that shimmered in the light. "This cloth will catch the light and shimmer differently depending on what's around it. If the light its really bright, it'll simply sparkle, but if it has a tint to it, it'll reflect that color. It'll always match!"
He rested the cloth down on one of the tables, before digging into the centerpiece boxes. He extracted what looked like a crystal ball, except that it had a Hogwarts castle inside. Setting it in the middle of the table, he dove back into the box to see what else could be used to decorate the tables.
Maybe they would help as well?

Alexandrie nodded at the Professor's reply, "That sounds like a great idea." Alex stated looking at the cloth and crystal ball item. "And it's something that is really pretty magical and very breathtaking." She added on the end, the shiny material really was shiny and beautiful, to her even if anyone suggested oterhwise. "Do we have a clue on how many people will be attending?" Alex asked remembering they could possibly need less or more tables depending. "That way we'll have some clue if we'll need more or less tables then we have currently." She explained herself just incase they didn't understand what she was asking and why. They wouldn't want to have just plain looking tables after all.

| *catching up* mm. Exams. Vanessa the Snot Girl l Rachels Rule | rock, tumble,&roll ❆ adorable coffee bean Okies. Sound round tables it was then. Brody liked round tables. They still needed to work out a number, but that would be clearer after the invitations had gone out, and stuff.
Oh and the Slytherin had just something. "Well....I'd say there's probably going to be quite a few. I mean how many students comehere now, and I'd assume they'll be quite a few ex students." She shrugged, they wouldn't know get right. "Maybe we should talk to the invitations committee to see how many replies they got. But I don't think we'll need to really have to accomodate a seat for them all, because not everyone is going to want to sit down at the same time."
"I like the idea of a neutral option." The blonde nodded in agreement. "I mean...I think it'll make the ball look more you know like grand if there's just one general option going through." And she would know Grand ahaha. But she did think that lots of different options would probably be a little tacky. "But also...if we had a neutral option on the tables, it could be used in the other areas of decorations, so it kind of flows." Which could be cool.
She smiled at Treyen as he went on about tall centre piecies. "No tall ones Treyen got it." She grinned at him, before thinking again. "I wonder if we could like have like ones that represent the houses....like the animals...or maybe the school crest or something." She shrugged, any of them would do really. "But like we could have them not in house colours, but the colours of the seasons." Which could be cool.

Alex nearly laughed, "Well..considering that one of the colors of Fall is the colors of Gryffindor and the color for Winter is similiar to Silver which is Slytherin..it's a good idea." Alex told her, besides she meant in a general sense they needed a few tables so people who wanted to sit down would have a place and have the option of not sitting next to someone they didn't like.

| Granddaddy Ravenclaw | | Jermione Granger Preston smiled. They were thinking up a lot of great things. "Well, don't worry so much about how many right now. We can always duplicate the centerpieces when we know numbers. For now.." he paused, looking at the one unfinished table. "Let's get the look down on this table, and then we can worry about setting up the others."

Round tables. Check!
Dining chairs. Check!
Color...ooooh. Treyen agreed with the pearlescent (?) one. It will be brilliant if colors changed around and the tablecloth also sort of did. Plus, there was no worrying in what could match what. So, yes, the boy smiled, he was on board with that idea.
He smiled up at Brody. Yeah, no tall centerpieces, many of us are still little, you know? "Mmm, Brody, I think the school crest is better...I mean, sure, we're going to have a bunch of people from every house, but I think we should only have Hogwarts" after all, once they leave the school, that's all that mattered, right? Though he was more than positive that Kaika was still loving everything Hufflepuff, but perhaps this way they'll avoid any House rivalry?
He eyed the crystal ball, "Is there a way that we could charm a little crystal ball that will show an image of whatever conversation people are having? Or, perhaps things that happened in Hogwarts that are important?" he asked, the possibility unknown.
