OOC: Before posting in this thread, you must first have been called back by Healer Moretti. To be seen by the Healer, please post in the Check-in Area for Patients first then in the Waiting Room for Patients and Visitors.

Upon entering the Hospital Ward and Healing Area, you'll come upon a long hallway that eventually forks into two different directions. You'll want to proceed to the right, the direction that will take you to the Healing Area. Healer Moretti will be waiting for you. It is in the Healing Area that you'll receive the medical attention that will hopefully heal you right away and send you back to classes and your everyday life.

If, however, you aren't able to be healed right away and your character is in a rather serious condition, you will be escorted to the Hospital Ward, where you will receive further medical attention.

OOC: Once your character is seen and tended to, Healer Moretti will deem them "well" and able to return to classes/everyday life. If your character continues to suffer from repeat conditions, it's likely that he or she will be admitted into the Room for Quarantined Patients. If this happens, you will be temporarily placed in the "Quarantined" user group, and your posting in the school will be temporarily limited to the "Quarantined" thread only.

I will lock these threads once a session is finished. When a new session, and a new student is assigned to the room, the thread will be reopened.

Amy walked through the door and sat down on the chair as she waited for the healer to come in and see to her arm

Lilyan entered the room, carrying with her the large, leather bound book, that all of the complaints were in, she lifted her eyes towards the young girl and offered a smile. "I see you broke your arm." she started, leaving the book on a table beside the door, "May I see it?" She rolled up her sleeves and held out her hands, "How did it happen?"

Amy gave the lady her arm, it happened before school, but I was riding and it bucked and I fell off, and landed on my arm, and I went to the muggle doctors and they put it into the sling, she told the woman as she looked at her arm, Amy looked away from it as she felt sick whenever she looked at it properly and instead focassed on the wall behind

Aha. Muggles. As Lily inspected the girls arm, she found that it was well along it's way to recovery all on it's own, good Muggle doctor. However, that was why it was taking so long to heal.

Setting the girl's arm down gently as she went to look in her cabinet, she rummaged about for a bit, before pulling one vial out, and returning to the girl. "Here we go." She said with a nod, "Drink this, it will speed along the natural repair of your arm, and also help with the pain. It's the strongest I can give you without needing to keep you in the hospital for observation, but considering how clean the break is, and how well it seems to be healing already, you should be fine."

She placed the vial on the table, and turned towards the sink, filling a glass of water. "Keep the sling on for the next two days." She said as she worked, "And come see me again, I want to check one more time." But other than that? She was pretty much ready to go. "Have some water." She added, "The potion has a bitter taste."

Ok, Amy said, smiling as she took the potion bleugh, her face screwed up as the potion hit her taste buds, she quickly swallowed the water, taking the taste away, so she coughed, when do I need to come back?

"Two days." Lilyan repeated, closing her cabinet. She turned and grinned at the girl. "You're all set love, I'll be seeing you soon." She gestured towards the door and nodded, "Make sure to take a chocolate on your way out."

And then, she left the room.

Ainra entered the room quietly, holding her arm with the other. It was really starting to hurt, but she suspected the nurse could fix it in a heartbeat. "

"All right sweetheart." Lilyan started, walking into the room and closing the door with a flick of her wand. "Let's start with.... how this happened."

Was it that silly tree house again? Was she going to have to have a talk with the groundskeeper? Oh dear.

"Well I tried to cast a spell on my friend." She paused, because that probably sounded bad. "She said I could." She added quickly. "And it kind of... didn't work, and I got thrown against a tree." She grimaced, saying the last part quickly.

Tsking, Lily shook her head, as she turned back to her little cabinet, "Let's see." She mumbled to herself, picking up a few things, and returning to the girl. "You should be more careful with your spells." She commented, gently taking the girl's arm in her hands, and looking it over, proping softly with her fingertips.

"Since it's a new break-" she started, speaking to the girl as she worked with her potions, mixing and shaking. "It will take a few days to heal properly." She handed over the potion, motioning for the girl to drink it down, and then waved her wand at the arm. A sheer, almost transparent sort of sling, wrapped itself around the girl's arm, and Lily nodded. "Favor this arm. No sudden movements, do not try to write, or reach for anything..." She trailed off as she started fixing the wrap to fit the arm properly. "That potion will heal up the break, and you'll be perfectly back to normal in a week."

"Thanks." Ainra said, slightly disappointed that her arm would be in a sling. "I'll try to be more careful." That was probably a lie. "Can I go?"

Lily was not unaware that the girl would most likely end up in her hospital again, and she gave her a look. She had a son of her own, afterall, she knew how children worked. "My dear, I do advise you to be careful." she restated, with a cheerful, but firm tone. "You don't want to end up losing points for your house now."

Nope, surely she did not.

"You're fine to go now. Be careful."

Cadence levitated Torin very carefully through the door into the room and laid him down on the bed, hoping that felt much better on his injured back. Hopefully the Healer would be able to fix him up in a jiffy. Putting her wand away, Cadence sat down in a chair next to Torin's bed and curled up in a ball as she reached for his hand. Blinking furiously, she tried not to cry. Now she had gotten mad at Torin AND Mr. Masterson AND that little firstie, and here was Torin laying here hurt, she had made that poor kid cry, and Mr. Masterson was probably not very happy with her for getting an attitude with him.

Plainly put, Cadence was already ready to go back home.

Torin sighed as he waited for someone to see to him. This was not good at all, and he was thinking that Brody would be annoyed with him about it. But what could he do about that. "I'm sorry about annoying you before, Cadence."

Cadence gave a little sniffle and squeezed Torin's hand as the tears won the battle and came spilling down her cheeks. "No, Torin, don't apologize. It's my fault. I shouldn't have talked to that kid like that. It wasn't my place. And I shouldn't have gotten mad at you. I'm just... not used to you being all... in charge and stuff, you know?" And now she was REALLY crying, on the verge of sobbing. "And I shouldn't have g-gotten an attitude with Mr. Masterson, either. He j-just wanted me to d-do something on my own," she said through her tears. "I'm sorry, T-Torin. Please don't be d-disappointed in me."

Yeaaaah... the Healer was probably going to make her leave for upsetting him....

He rolled his eyes and squeezed her hand. "Cadence, calm down. I'm not dying or anything. I'll be okay." And as far as that other stuff... "It just all got out of hand. It's no one's fault really. And it will get sorted." He was sure of it.

Cadence nodded and wiped her face on her shoulder, though she was still crying curled up in her little ball. She didn't dare speak again, though, for fear that her tears would get worse again if she tried to talk. Instead she just sat there, holding Torin's hand and waiting for the Healer to come make him feel better.

"My dear." Lilyan started, as she walked into the room, flicking her wand at the door to close it, "I must insist that if you upset my patient, you will have to leave."

Waaait for it.....

She grinned comfortingly at the girl. She'd only been teasing. Hehe. (HEHE?) Patting the poor child on the shoulder, the woman offered her a chocolate, before turning her attention onto the boy. "All right.... Mr. Kane." She said, eyes flicking down to look at her book again. "How exactly did this happen?"

When the Healer came in and told Cadence she should leave, her teary eyes widened as her stomach plumetted to the floor. Then the woman was smiling at her, though, and giving her.... chocolate?! Okay, obviously she wasn't serious about Cadence leaving. "Thank you," she said quietly. Cadi took the chocolate from her and unwrapped it, popping it in her mouth while she waited to see if Torin was going to answer the Healer or if Cadence would have to explain to her as well.

Torin turned to look a the Healer when she walked in, but he didn't get a very good view of her since it sorta hurt his back to try to. Oh well.

"I was trying to do a back flip in the pathway. Not my best idea..." For one thing there was no trampoline there.

Once more, her attention was turned to the girl, "Best not to worry yourself into a tizzy my dear." She said with a little frown, that was quickly replaced with an encouraging smile.

Lilyan shook her head. Sure, she'd been a bit of a risk taker as a child as well, and had injuries many times over, but... a flip?

"Did you loose your... grip?" she inquired, stooping slightly to examine the boy's back. "I'm going to need to pull your shirt up." She added, "Unless you would prefer to do it yourself."

When she shook her head at him, he figured that she thought that he was silly. But he was silly, so he didn't mind her thinking that really. He was an idiot for having tried it there in the pathways.

"I think I misjudged my height off of the ground," he told her as he pulled his shirt up.

Fun times.

Cadence nodded at the Healer as she ate her chocolate in silence. Right, no need to worry herself... that was just about all Cadence did these days: worry. When she mentioned something about losing his grip, Cadence raised her eyebrows. What? Did she think he had been on a broom? No... that would have been a much cooler story to tell people than he tried to do a backflip on the ground like Cadi had and had a major FAIL. But she didn't say anything. She'd let Torin decide whether or not to tell her the whole truth.

As Torin lifted up his shirt, Cadence quickly turned her eyes away. Sure, wasn't like she hadn't seen Torin without a shirt on before, but somehow it was different when they were swimming. Anyway, though Cadence would never admit it Torin, it was pretty much a known fact that he was one of the more... oggled at boys in the school. Cadence would spare him the googly eyes.

Gross.

She could never see Torin that way.

Very lightly, Lily brushed her fingers against the boy's back, often asking "Does this hurt?" "What about this?" "How about here?" Until she guessed that she had put the boy through enough torture.

Standing once more, the woman retreated over to her cupboard and sifted through. "Keep your shirt up if you can, but don't strain." She said to him, pausing to look over her shoulder for only a moment before she began rummaging once more.
